Illusions and Nature

She went wide-eyed as the two blasts came at her. She outstretched her hands to each blast, 5 crosses wrapping around each one. As the blasts made contact, she screamed with agony. Suddenly though, the color of the blast changed light green, and slowly became smaller and smaller, until there was none left. She took a deep breath and pointed her right index finger at Netami.

"You should not have underestimated me. My own concentration of spirit particles are so dense here, I was able to change the makeup of your attack with my own reiatsu. Now, lets see how you like it." She suddenly shoots a green bala at her, with the combined strength of the two, and twice as fast. "You're not the only one who can be a copy cat when the time comes!"

While the two bala were combined they were still weaker than a cero. Netami used her cero to cancel out the attack. That was too close. I almost didn't get that off in time. "Hmph. . .I guess its as good as time as any. Show them their ugliness Saigishin."

Netami's mirror grew brightly and began to expand quickly. It formed a massive dome around the two and over a hundred mirrors began to float around inside the dome. Each of these mirrors were pointed towards Nini and seemed to be moving on their own. The shinigami found herself in a forest of herself. "How do you like my house of mirrors shinigami? Be careful not to get lost. . ." As she said this she smirked and a mirror passed in front of her and she disappeared. A loud cackle echoed throughout the dome.

She stared, amazed at the number of mirrors around her. It was close to something she had seen before, but still quite different. The mirrors confused her, for sometimes she would see herself, then would see a shadow of someone else.

"Hehehehehe..... So many mirrors I see. I guess this is suppose to confuse me? Perhaps to one person, it would overwhelm them, but...." Her crosses suddenly spread out, piercing the mirrors through the middle, the chains extending. "...but I'm not just one person I guess. I really like the mirrors you have, really, but I dont think I want to be tricked."

The chains suddenly vibrate, shattering all of the mirrors which her crosses had pierced. "So please, if you want to attack me...." Her face grew serious, her smile gone. "Then do it and dont waste my time! I dont want to fight anymore, but that does not mean I wont kill you if needed!"

Nini broke the mirrors but they just melded back together as soon as they shattered. A cackle could be heard echoing throughout the dome. "You're far too arrogant shinigami. This is my house, and in my house we play by my rules." The mirrors continued to float through the air. An image of Nini was reflected back to her from over 100 different angles. She stood there with a serious face but then something odd happened. The image in the mirror began to smile. A light condensed around the image's left eye. "Lets see how you handle this one." A cero erupted from the image's left eye. Nini was now faced with what seemed to be cero coming from 100 different directions.

Nini's eyes widened as she saw the mirrors shoot the cero's at her. A..are all of these real?! I cant block these in time!
But we sure can!

The ten crosses suddenly glow bright green, fines shooting from the ends of each cross. It was a rapid growth technique that used any spiritual energy around Nini, as well as inside Nini. The vines concealed her, blocking her from the cero barrage. ".....I didn't know I could do that...."

The cero beam collided with the vines creating a large opening in the dome of vines. "Well, even though you failed to realize it was only one cero, it was still an impressive defense shinigami." Mirrors continued to float around Nini. A mirror glided behind Nini about a two feet behind her. A blood erupted from the mirror as Netami's arm shot forward. The blade drove into the back of Nini spilling her blood on the ground.

As soon as the attack hit, Netami was gone. The mirrors continued to rotate randomly through out the dome in complete silence.

She froze, a sharp pain in her body. She looked down, seeing the blood, and the wound. Nini never had been stabbed like this before, and she wasn't sure how to deal with it. her head was spinning with angry voices, except for one that was concerned.

"......I...it hurts.... It hurts so much....." She breathed heavily, shaking, watching the mirrors. She saw the ones she had hit had plants on them. She had hit about 57 of them, meaning 57 different power sources for her. "P..Plants of P..purity!" Two of the plants glowed, disintegrating into pure energy, in which Nini slowly absorbed. Her wound was now gone, only a small red line to show that she had it, which slowly disappeared.

"I...I didn't want to fight, but now you insisted. Plants of hell!" The other 55 mirrors suddenly explode with extreme force. Nini deflected the pieces that went after her with her armored arm. The shards slowly became enveloped with plants, in which exploded as well. Now, most of all of the mirrors that were around the explosion were covered with plants. The plants began to send out spores, one at a time, covering the air around Nini. "Try to attack me now. You'll just hit a spore and poison yourself. Please leave this as a draw so we can both get out of these forms."

A mirror made its way in front of Nini and stopped. Slowly the reflection of Nini stepped out of the mirror. Netami stretched in a provocative fashion. "Damn, I always feel so cramped in there. Not to mention your body is tiny." Another mirror slid in between the two. The image of Nini disappeared as the mirror passed, Netami's original form came out as the mirror disappeared.

"It has been fun Shinigami, but I'm getting bored of this battle. Anyways, you're not pretty enough to kill." Netami smiled and blew a kiss towards Nini. "See ya later." Netami jumped back and disappeared into a mirror that had passed behind her. After she disappeared so did the mirrors and the dome revealing a sun sitting high in the sky.
