"Ahhh, but of course I wouldn't" Legault replied in a slightly sarcastic tone. "What use are emotions, all they bring in pain and regret." This woman was just like the rest, casting away her humanity for her thirst for power. Legault had long given up on trying to reach the humanity of other arrancars, he sometimes wished that he hadn't retained his memories and human feeling, It would make the fact that he was a monster a lot easier to cope with. But in all reality, he would exchange his power as an arrancar to be a human again any day.
"Well If you have no need of me at the moment, I suppose I will take my leave Valentina-sama" Legault quickly stated after realizing how long he had been drifting off in his own thoughts.

Valentina tilted her head to the side and simply stared at Legault for several minutes, still puffing thoughtfully on her cigarette. He obviously was experiencing some sort of regret in becoming the fraccion of such a cold-hearted mistress. This was understandable, of course. Very few arrancar would be able to withstand her seemingly callous nature. Perhaps she was cruel, or perhaps she chose to keep her fraccions at arms length for good reason.
"I won't pretend to understand how you are feeling at this moment," Taking one last drag, she paused to snuff out her cigarette in the porcelain ashtray sitting on her bedside table. "Not only would it be deceitful, but it would also imply that I care--which I do not." Her tone was a little harsher than she wanted it to be but then again, Valentina was never one to sugar coat anything. In serving as the Sexta Espada's fraccion, Legault would know that better than anyone. "There are only two things I require of you, Legault; respect and loyalty. Whether it goes beyond that is entirely up to you."

Legault smiled to himself. "Why do I even try?" he wondered to himself. "And I expect nothing else" he replied casually as he twirled an old key around in his hand. "I won't ask you any of your life, as I assume you have no reason to care about mine, a mutual partnership It will be then."
Legault walked to the door, pausing a moment as he stepped out. "Though I'm not the sort to try and kill you or betray the Espada, you probably already know that I am not a very loyal person.". Legault thne slipped out of the room and into the shadows of the corridors, he could not be heard or seen. As he lurked off, back to his own room, he pulled a small golden ring out of his pocket. He looked at it thoughfully as he wondered whether or not he should return it.
