The Arrancar rasied an eyebrow and tilted her head slightly.
"Are you being philosophical with me, Goro?" she asked with a chuckle. That was a first. No one had ever been 'philosophical' with her. Usually, she killed them before they had a chance to...but that was beside the point. "I don't care about the fact that I...er...'we' were once human. Point is, we're not anymore. I don't even remember my real name, let alone my human life. I've given up on humankind. Especially the Spanish...though I don't recall why..."
Samuii yawned. "And besides, humans have horrible taste in music...with all this...rap. It gives me migranes."

Daigoro chuckled. She wasn't wrong. Rap hurt his head as much as it did her's. He looked around, seeing the people crowding back. They had no idea about what had just happened. And he was glad that it stayed that way. The secret of the spirit world was meant to stay that - secret. He sighed, and laid on his back.
"Me? Being philosophical? Heh. I don't think that anybody has ever referred to me in that way before. But I guess that there's a first time for everything. He sighed again, yawning. This really had taken it out of him.

"You're right. Who'd listen to you being philosophical anyway?"
Samuii sighed. She couldn't believe that she was actually going to ask this, but she just never had the chance to, and she figured this was the perfect time.
"I'm going to ask you something." she said flatly, "And I swear to god, you're going to give me an answer whether you like it or not." She paused, not to think of the question, but for dramatic effect. Samuii loved those dramatic pauses. They made things sound more serious than they actually were. "Shinigami come from Soul Society, right? What's that like?"
Yes. It was a stupid question. But Samuii was going to get an answer...after centuries and centuries of waiting to ask it.

Daigoro looked at her, quietly. She wanted... to know what Soul Society was like? Should he tell her the truth, or not? He sighed, the truth was better than the lie. He then looked her directly in the eyes, and spoke with the utmost certanty.
"Soul Society is not the paradise that it is made out to be. Souls are segregated into the 80 Districts of Rukongai, from best to worst. In District 80 you need to be heavily armed to survive. I was brought up in one of the late 70's. And then there's the Seireitei itself. It is protected form spiritual beings, hostile or not, by a wall that surrounds it. More segregation. Inside Seireitei is a paradise, in the basest sense, but it is only populated by the Shinigami. It's not the place that most would want to live."
He sighed once more, hoping that his explanation was enough.

Samuii looked at the Shinigami in disbelief.
"You're telling me...that Soul Society isn't what people have been telling all these years?"
She laughed, "You're kidding me. You people are sick, you know?"
All these years of wondering, sometimes even dreaming of Soul Society, and someone tells her it's not the paradise she always (secretly) wished to live in? And what's this about a place not a place most people want to be.
"Shithole or not, it's a place to call home." she said a moment later.

Daigoro nodded. He saw where she came from. The stories about Soul Society were always the same. People calling it a 'paradise', people saying that it was the 'perfect haven for souls'. He laughed softly, then turned serious.
"I understand your thoughts. And I'll admit it, Soul Society is still better than being stuck out here with the Hollows." He studied her in silence for a few seconds. There was something she wasn't giving up, wasn't there? He sighed, and started speaking again.
"But... The way you just spoke to me, it seems that you want to prove it for yourself, don't you? I might be able to get you in. It would take me a while, but I MAY be able to get you in... somehow." He smiled weakly.

Silence.
Samuii tried to process what Daigoro had just told her. She was sure that he didn't say 'I might be able to get you in'. No, that was imposible. The only arrancar that she knew of that managed to get in Soul Society were ones that tried to destroy it. And she was pretty sure that they weren't wanted in there, affiliated or not. She really wanted to laugh, but somehow couldn't.
"I'm sure your short captain wouldn't like that one bit." she said. "And I'm also sure that the only arrancar that ever stepped foot on Soul Society land are pretty much dead now. Correct me if I'm wrong."
She was curious about Soul Society, but if there was a 50+% chance of her dying, then it was not worth it.
