With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

After Mikhail saw the last person stagger out, he moved inside looking for anyone else alive. It wasn't long before he found a man trapped under some rubble, and Mikhail set to work freeing him. Lifting pieces of stone, and tossing them aside, so that the man could slide out of the debris. He helped the injured man to his feet, and took him outside as well. Passing the grateful man off to another to look after, he turned his attention back to the battle just in time to hear another blast fire off. He would be forever helping people out of ruined buildings if he didn't help do something about it.
As much as he might not want to, he would have to get involved, if only to try and keep the destruction to a minimum. It was only a matter of seeing just who found him first. The wind blew through his hair, and his hands balled into fists as he came out into the street again.
--------------------------------
Ikkaku appeared in the gateway following Captain Zaraki. Oh was he looking forward to this! He listened as the lieutenant asked if they would find someone strong, but there was little doubt in Ikkaku's mind that there were plenty of good opponents here.
When the blast went off, it caught his attention, but what was more interesting, was Captain Zaraki's smile. Ikkaku grinned widely as well, wondering who the captain would go after. His only thought was to avoid where the captain went, everyone else was fair game.

Nnoitra Jiruga watched as more and more forces arrived, he was almost drunk with blood lust thinking of all the opponents appearing before. But, thats when one shinigami in particular left the Senkaimon. That bastard. His grin widened as he thought of there battle. That shinigami may have managed to kill him before. But that was then and this was now. Plus there wasn't Nel and that orange haired kid here to soften him up for him. He would fight this Captain again and this time he would win. That Captain thought he was weak. He knew it. But he wasn't, he was Nnoitra strongest of the espada and he wouldn't be looked down upon by that bastard. He readied his zanpakuto for the blood bath that was about to commence.
---------------------------------------------
Jericho sighed. It seemed they wouldn't be able to fight just yet. This greatly disappointed him. By the amount of large reiastus appearing it was sure to be a good one. "Sanmaru? Who is that? The chick you kissed," he asked mistaken about the person he was sspeaking about, rather horribly at that. He then preceded to sit down near Dai lowering his own reiastu to help his friend hide he supposed. Was this person truly that horrible. Or maybe he had some weakling tagging around with him and he was trying to dodge them. Like that one vizard that was with him before, what was his name? Oh well, Jericho didn't really care. e was weak in his eyes and he would remain nameless to him anyway.
------------------------------------------------
Kazuma smiled at Kasai. "Well thats good cause I really didn't have any other options other than take those reiastus on myself," he said with a goofy grin on his face as he rubbed the back of his own head. Thats when he sensed it, that icey reiastu. So he was here too huh? Perfect! "Hey listen I'm gonna need you to hold on tight for a bit," he said not really waiting for a reply as he wrapped his arm around Dai's waist with his right arm then proceeding to crouch he brought his left fist up and sent it straight down into the concrete. The concrete shattered from the force as him and Kasai flew straight up, high enough to get to the roof top and landed there.
Then with Kasai under his arm he begain to run towards Mikhail, no way was he gonna leave a friend/pupil well sorta pupil alone to fight on his own in this battle. They made there way across the roof tops leap from one to another. He had to find him, he was on a mission. It almost brought him back to his military days....almost. He was eventually able to see Mikhail once he was back in the open. "MIKHAIL, LONG TIME NO SEE," he shouted not really sure if he even heard him while at the same time he he waved his left arm since his primary was busy carrying Kasai. He then proceeded to leap off the building and both him and Kasai made there plummet towards the ground.
But before they fell to there deaths he gripped a light post and proceeded to slide down it and ran the rest of the way over to Mikhail. He proceeded to pant heavily. "Hi...huff...huff...How are you doing," he asked his goofy grin reappearing once again across his face. He then realized Kasai was still under his arm. "Oh, shit sorry man," he said putting him down and straightening out any wrinkles in Kasai's clothing.
A nerve twitched slightly in Dai's forehead when Jericho asked him if Sanmaru was the girl he kissed...
"No... That's the guy who thinks I'm a traitor to Soul Society." Not... that he was really wrong, in a sense. Dai was the one sitting there, next to one of Nnoitra's fraccion, of all possible people. He sighed, and suddenly moved his hand to his zanpakuto, making sure that he was at the ready. For now, anything could happen...
And what was that largely familiar Reiatsu nearby?
---
"Foolish children..." Behind the angered eighth Espada came an aged man, Mak'ur Ch'ari. He groaned in the sunlight, and looked down over the small battlefield. So, this was going to be their playing ground? He peered down at the other children scuttling around, like ants, and grinned slightly, and his grin was always sadistic. He slowly, but surely, stood back up straight, and looked over at Szayel.
"I... believe... that we have some insects to squash, sir." He nodded in a slow way, and drew his zanpakuto with another sadistic grin. No, he wouldn't jump in just yet. But he'd be ready.
---
"Urk!" Kasai felt his body pulled into the air as Kazuma jumped high up with his. He blinked, and tried to struggle free, but to no avail.
"Hey! C'mon! Lemme--" It hadn't taken them long - they were at their destination. Kasai looked over at the kid nearby and grinned and waved and fell to the ground with a groan. He stood up and smiled at Mikhail.
"Hey, Mikhail." He'd sorta been able to understand Mikhail a bit more since the incident in the warehouse.
---
Time to move. Solas finally found herself moving out of the alleyway, violet locks moving in the wind. She hurriedly made her way over to where Mikhail and Kasai were, and nodded at the pair.
"I'm here to help, alright?" The girl nodded, and sat down on a bench that was rather... amusingly placed. She watched what was going on carefully, making sure to hide her full strength from anyone that may have been watching.
---
They're all... strange... to me, was the one thought that entered the mind of Tsugiro Koga as he silently watched the goings-on from his high position. Why did they fight? Was it worth it to anybody? He sighed, and moved his hand to the hilt of his blade below his waistline, un-clipping it and drawing it out in a downwards sweep and into the air in front of him.
"Rei, do not forsake my hand today." He placed his forehead onto the four-foot long blade, and started to meditate all of his current thoughts to that end. He didn't want her to give up on him in her jealousy spat.
Tsugiro... Do well, and I shall help you.
Rei? His zanpakuto was once more silent. The grey-haired man lowered his head, and sighed once more.
---
"Yare yare. Things are really heating up, aren't they?"
For those that... hadn't somehow guessed, the Shinigami in the pink coat was none other then Shunsui Kyoraku, who had entered the battle at the request of the Captain-Commander herself, along with a few other Captains of varying strengths. His old friend was nearby, along with Komamura and the new Captain, Ningai.
He peered over the battlefield, and recognized one man. It was Starrk. His eyes glazed over grimly as he remembered their fight.
"No. No need to dwell in the past." The Captain shook his head, and retook his own thoughts, watching the battle to see what sort of opening he'd take. His eyes were drawn to Ulquiorra and Satsu.
---
"Alright, time to move." Mikhail's Reiatsu may have been icy in itself, but this Reiatsu was far more noticeable in it's coldness. As was the mass of white hair that topped the child's head. Toshiro Hitsugaya stepped out of the Senkaimon and sighed, a wisp of breath coming out as steam.
He was another Captain assigned to this task, and his eyes suddenly narrowed in recognition. Halibel was here. He couldn't see her, but he knew that it was true. His looked down to the ground, remembering the events of the Winter War, and grimacing.
"Erg..."
{Bleh. Short posts for everyone! They'll be longer after the split.}
Hatter heard Celia, but his response was probably not the best in the world. Still making absurd faces toward Darui, his mumbled voice may be misheard or sound like gibberish. "Sli shun't zlunderwand vy shu toose zim?" What he said, I don't understand why you chose him?, which may be a rhetorical question seeing that his attention was brought to some new faces.
Happiness soon replaced his annoying face making antics to greet his very good friend Szayel. Going for a rather big hug to the pink haired Espada, he was intercepted by Xuan of all people. At first he didn't realize, but soon it was obvious to him that he was not hugging his successor. Blinking of couple of times, he pushed Xuan away in disgust as his face turned sour. "Ewwww, I can't believe I touched him. I think I got march hare hair on me."
He wiped his sleeves rapidly as if to get rid of the hairs that might have fallen on him, though none were there. This was just for a few seconds before he addressed Szayel himself. "I guess you just can't expect too much from only a successor. After all, you're being control by a... HEY! The White Queen is here with her chess pieces." With that, Hatter began to wave wildly at the four ladies, to get there attention.
"HEY! WHITE QUEEN, BISHOP, ROOK, AND KNIGHT, HOW ARE YA?" He yelled at them but did not wait to hear an answer, because DoppalHatter came to him. Tapping him on the shoulder, Hatter looked over to where DoppalHatter had pointed out the new people that caused Hatter to stop for a moment.
He thought for a moment, ignoring any comments that were said to him as he focused. Staring at each individual until he spotted the most manliest man he has ever seen. "I call the sunglasses wearing, mustache manly man. Y'all can have the other weirdos, like that bad guy."
Meanwhile on the roof, Roy looked at Hiko for a moment to clarify some things for him. "You have a good eye but that shrapnel has been there for years, no biggy though...Groan" The first sign of pain came through as he talked, a little bit of blood came out of the rim of his mouth.
Though the young doctor was doing his best, Roy was still in deep pain from just being touched, though he hid it as best as he could. Nothing a military man like him couldn't handle.
Roy couldn't help but feel some relief that the Shinigami forces have arrived, though based on the reaction of Makana, he would not say it aloud. "It's alright, I'm sure she has a healers touch. Besides, we have bigger problems here then the cute doctor here, Bean-chan." If he could get Makana to get mad at her rather than at Rinako, he'll most likely be hit for calling her cute.
Back at the Gate, Ukitake watched as the young fourth squader passed through the mass to make her way to the injured quincy. He brought his attention back to Shunsei, listening to his old friend talk. "Yes, it seems that they are eager to have another go at us." He commented with a smile, though the thought of those events were hard to forget. This time he hoped that the result would not be has harsh as they were on that winter's day.
He then spotted his sparring partner from that day, the young looking female half of Starrk, Lilynette. He gave her a small wave as he stood above the surrounding buildings, the winter wind blowing his coat. "How strange to have this happen during winter again."
Jushiro stayed where he was as Shunsei looked over at Ulquiorra and Satsu. The young man was familiar, though why he was with an Arrancar brought many question to mind.
Komamura stood, watching the shadow whip around back to it's original owner the man in the strange hat. The man turned to stare at the Shinigami force only to point at them and declare Iba his opponent. "Be weary Tetsuzaemon, that one is...odd." A bit of advice if Iba decided to take on the strange Hatter as an opponent.
Though that killing instinct was not ignored or unnoticed. Komamura looked toward Kenpachi, staring at him with his golden eyes. "You should remember your duty here is to protect and not for your personal gain, Zaraki." Komamura was still a bit uneasy around Zaraki, though for the reason on that day was in the past. At least Zaraki stayed by Seireitei when it comes down to it.
Now came the silence of Ningai, not wanting to make a move without provocation. He hoped that they would just withdraw from this fight, no need for unnecessary blood shed. However, that was up to the Arrancar forces, though disorganized right now, but can still put up a fight.
Much was going to happen, that much was certain. He took in many things, but what caught his eye above all was the small girl in the fray of the battle. She was out of place among all those Arrancar, her reiastu felt much like another girl, a Vizard. It seems that I am meant to encounter several Vizards in my life, perhaps for something greater. The thought ran through his head as he kept his eyes on her high above the sky.
Lilynette's face turned to one of hate to sheer hatred. Shaking her fist up to the side of her face, a vein throbbed on her forehead, and she had an evil smirk escape her face. "That bastard...he's mocking me again. I'LL KILL YOU THIS TIME!!" She yelled as she tried to go after him, only to be held at the shoulder by Starrk. Her legs kicked wildly in the air, kicking dust at Jushiro.
Starrk was not in the mood for this and the force of Shinigami made it more troublesome. "We're going, no need to involve ourselves in this." Starrk said much to Lilynette's displeasure. She turned to protest this outrageous decision.
Pointing her finger at Ukitake while facing Starrk, she began her argument. "And why the hell not? Look who's up there, the White haired bastard and the Flower Captain. Don't you want revenge on what they did to us?" She was angry, chewing out Starrk while flailing her index finger at Ukitake of all people.
However, Starrk was not hearing it. He could tell that this was not something Aizen or Gin had planned, more like Nnoritra being bored. This was not the rematch he wanted, nor the time for it. Though he scratched his head from Lilynette's yelling, Starrk was not going to fight this fight.
He started to walk off, Lilynette in tow trying to get him to fight, and even kicking him once in a while. Though they walked away from the main battle field, they were headed toward a fight none the less. Maybe if so many different reiastu's were not in the area, Starrk could feel out a lone Shinigami Captain lurking toward the battle.

(Sorry, 'z not much, but 'm still fending off remats of a cold. Bleh.)
The quartet of women calmly watched over the battle, trying to keep track of everything. It wasn't easy. People here, people there. Some fighting, some not. They didn't feel the need to be involved in the fighting just yet. This wasn't the winter war, all or nothing.
Then their peace was presumably halted as the the one named Hatter... or something, as frankly they were confused on the matter of the Hatter, had shouted at them, calling them names that weren't really offensive. Still, it was weird... then again, he was weird, so they wrote it off as him being weird.
Hatter managed to get their attention a moment.
Halibel offered a simple glance at hatter before returning her attention to the battles below without a sound, arms crossed, her gaze serious.
Apache eyed the lunatic warily wondering what the fool might do. She half paid attention to he, and the battle. Frankly, she was obviously annoyed by the shouting.
Sun-Sun simply uttered "Lunatic," and continued being vigilant against those that'd raise arms against her mistress. Far be it for her to neglect her duties as a fracci?n.
Mila-Rose grumped, and watched. She looked to see which one looked like better prey, but Halibel kept her on her leash, more or less, not that it bothered her. She wasn't in a rush.
====
Elsewhere, Soifon laid low, and followed her orders, and those orders were to prevent the battles from getting out of hand, and creating too much damage in town. She was not to go in, and fight (Who'd wanna deal with her shikai, and Bankai anyhow? ). That was the job of the other captains who had arrived to go in, fight, and do as they saw fit.
Where was she? Only she knew, really. Her stealth training paid off in keeping her location secret from everyone but herself.
Now, Kaki was a bit worked up when the voice rolled into her ears, smooth and high, that of a child's. It didn't really matter at this point, but a sudden voice, through all of the happenings, well, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Her reiatsu filled her umbrella as she spun around and hissed, "Ikoi Tsu - What the hell, Hotaru!"
Standing before her, wide-eyed and needle-like buyoh's frame catching Kaki's umbrella, was none other than her sister. The one who was supposed to be dead. And she had just a tad more urgency in her eyes than Kaki had. "Nee-san, there is no necessity for such language."
Kaki blinked in irritation. Lowering her own green umbrella, allowing it to smack against the pavement (she didn't really care about collateral damage), she pulled down an eyelid and cursed, "Fuck. You."
Hotaru ignored her younger sister; the tense nervousy remained in her eyes, which flickered to and fro. She had sensed Kaki, she had sensed of all people Ulquiorra, and she had sensed Sanmaru. While one of them likely couldn't care less that they were there, the other certainly did.
After all, they were supposed to be dead.
"Nee-san, we need to leave," Hotaru urged, stepping towards the alley she had emerged from. "Those shinigami are here."
"Oh! You mean San-san and Dai... Dai... Daigochi?" Kaki exclaimed. "Also that guy... with the helmet!"
"Nee-san," Hotaru hissed, motioning for Kaki to follow as she made her way into the alleyway, slinking into the shadows.
"Oh! Right." Kaki followed suit, running into the alley along with her sister.
Sanmaru's eyes narrowed as he took in the situation. Daigoro, the rogue, and someone else. Someone he did not know the name of, but someone who had caused him too much trouble in the past. And he couldn't fight all of them. He had to pick. Which was more important? He thought briefly of pursuing the children; they would provide little trouble if he could sneak up on them effectively. He considered confronting Daigoro, but he was unable to pinpoint where exactly he was.
He knew he was around somewhere.
What nonsense, Sanmaru thought bitterly. He would have to pick someone.
He had no evidence on Daigoro anyways, and he found the hollow more troublesome. He could hunt them down later, if he ever got leave to do so. That hollow, that red-haired arrancar, would be his target.
So, turning and slowly walking from the senkaimon, before he shot off in a blast of shunpo, the bespectacled shinigami released his shikai without a word. A weilder of bankai, he had no need to call the name of his sword. It was convenient, really. So he vanished from the senkaimon and focused on his target.
That arrancar, Samuii.
Makana listened as Hiko described her colleague's injuries with medical terms unfamiliar to her. Roy, however, seemed not to mind the descriptions and assured Hiko, "It's alright, I'm sure she has a healers touch. Besides, we have bigger problems here then the cute doctor here, Bean-chan."
Makana was just about to smack Roy. "Will you stop hitting on people!?"
Rinako turned red at this accusation. Nevertheless, she drew her sword and called, "Stick, Jinkou."
And the sword grew several flowers on the end. The medic approached the injured Quincy carefully and began to heal him. "It will take a moment, but try to relax. Uh, Jinkou doesn't make it immediately, but when I have the aloe I can apply it to help relieve the pain."
Makana lowered her weapon for that moment and let out a relieved breath of air. "So he'll be ok?"
"Yes; Um, he doesn't look like he has any major internal damage. Just, uh, try not to get into this fight, please? I-If you do you might get hurt more."
An obvious answer from a timid medic, but Makana accepted this quietly.
"Hatter, enough," Celia murmured, flickering her eyes from the madman to her fraccion. Adela and Neva waited, Neva passive, Adela shaking. With excitement, no doubt. "Darui, pick whoever you want. Adela, stay with Neva and I."
"No fair," Adela whined, dropping her shoulders slightly. That meant Darui was gonna have first dibs and she would be stuck with whoever attacked her first. "Can someone just fire off a cero or somethin' and get the ball rolling?"
"I'll have no part in that," Neva declared, if such a monotonous voice could make a declaration.
{Dai, what sunlight? It's night time.}
"You're right, indeed, Xuan. No wonder Szayel likes you. You're smarter than I took you for."
Xuan decided not to answer this, simply returning to the task at hand; finding a target. He wondered about the little girl with reiatsu similar to his and remembered the possibility of there being vizard of all things.
And they had yet to experiment on a vizard. Half hollow, half shinigami. Like arrancar, but somehow different. So Xuan grinned. Reptillian eyes flickering to the alley where the girls had disappeared into, he let his reiatsu spike as he prepared to sonido forward and claimed, "I think I've found my mark."
"Orders for me, Szayel-sama? Or shall I do my own thing?" Stour asked.
Szayel was pleased. There were indeed many subjects he could certainly study, and some of them would likely make for an entertaining time. Adjusting his mask fragment, as though it would actually move, he answered his fraccion's inquiry, "Stour, what's an actor without a role?"
"Find an interesting test subject, and try to keep their bodies intact," Szayel answered, fully aware of Stour's history of... well, making things that exploded in his face. He didn't want his would-be test subjects exploding.
"Same for me, Szayel-sama?" Adan asked, popping up with a grin.
"You stay with Ma'Kur." Szayel didn't exactly trust Adan to not start a mess, to not goof off and cause nonsense. He figured keeping him with a newer fraccion would prove to be more reliable. Besides, if he kept them closer he would have minions to throw at whatever inferior little creature he fought.
Then, suddenly, Hatter appeared, smiling and nonsensical as ever. Even madness incarnate could not comprehend half of why Hatter did what he did. To begin with, he hugged Xuan, who turned a sudden, angry red and began to shake. "Get off of me!"
There was much complaining involved, and as Hatter turned back to Szayel, and said, "I guess you just can't expect too much from only a successor. After all, you're being control by a... HEY! The White Queen is here with her chess pieces," Szayel turned red.
"Being controlled by a what?!"
"Don't cheer so loudly," said Isamu.
"Ah c'mon, Isamu!" Masaru exclaimed, turning to face his friend. Cheerful, almost unnaturally so in such a situation, he extended an arm, playfully punching at his comrade. "How can I not? I'm excited, a'right? Gonna kick some ass to make up for the scars on m'back! Hey, wanna make a bet?"
"Ne! Ne! It's Patchy!" called the pink-haired fukutaicho from her captain's shoulder.
That got two peoples attention. Masaru peered up at the small child, smiling like a kid in a candy store. Or an eleventh divisioner on a battlefield. She looked almost as excited as he was, but nowhere near as excited as their captain. Now that man's grin was wild, feral, and hungry.
"Well whaddoya know, eh?" the captain replied, stepping forward and passing a few other shinigami. He made his way to the front of the gargantua.
"You should remember your duty here is to protect and not for your personal gain, Zaraki."
"Killjoy," the captain insisted, stepping forward anyways. It couldn't be helped; there was a foe worth fighitng and damn if he was gonna pass this up for some weaklings. His squad could handle whoever else they wanted, as long as he got to fight who he wanted. It wouldn't change; Zaraki was going to fight whoever he wanted despite the warnings of the other captains. Without another word, he shot down, running for the Quinta.
Yachiru herself couldn't deny it; she was happy. If Ken-chan was happy, she was equally pleased. She barely noticed the various toy and candy stores as they passed; she would make him come back for those later. After all, he was strong. He would win!
"Ne, Ken-chan, let's get candy after you win!"
No doubts in her mind, they were going to win.
Iba, on the other hand, shook his head. "Taicho, I don't think you can convince him."
Turning his gaze to the dog-faced captain, Iba frowned. There was indeed a strange man scoping him out, and it was a curious situation. The loud-mouthed maniac seemed unfazed by the violence--no one here seemed particularly worried. But something about him was off. Maybe it was the shouting across the battlefield that did it. "Good luck to you, taicho."
A fight was about to begin, after all. Why not wish his captain luck?
Character List "Let's eat, Grandma!" "Let's eat Grandma!" Commas save lives.
On a streetlight not too far away from the action, a red-haired arrancar crouched atop the flickering lamp. A banana peel fell to the sidewalk as Samuii took the last bite of the fruit she had "borrowed" from one of those fruit stores across the street. She had been lazing around, waiting for the sun to come back up when that group with that ridiculous spoon-headed arrancar appeared. Followed by a handful of vizards. And then shinigami. And then more powerful arrancar. And then more powerful shinigami.
God, it was like the Winter War all over again. Except not. And dear Samuii, belonging to neither side, planned on sitting that one out on her lamp post, completely content in watching the Shinigami and the Arrancar annihilate each other.
Oh, hey, there was those sisters she met a couple times in the past. They really haven't changed a bit. And there was that human kid she beat to holy hell and back. It probably wasn't a good idea to say hi. Now, where was that wolf-guy?
As she reached into her jacket and pulled out an apple, she sensed a familiar reiatsu. With a frown, Samuii took a bite from the apple. She spat it out instantly; god, it was sour. Still, he was here? Well, all things considering, yeah, he would be here. Still, their last encounter was something she wanted very much to forget, and his was not a face she really wanted to see...ever, actually.
But as she continued her inner thoughts, another reiatsu came closer towards her. Samuii turned her head to the right and saw a familiar shinigami coming towards her. Where had she seen him again? Oh, yeah, that time with those sisters.
"You? Really?" she called out, carelessly tossing the once-bitten apple behind her, "I remember your sword. I'm your target, aren't I?" she asked half-heartedly. "Seriously, don't you have better people to fight? What about those guys?" she said, pointing to Halibel and her fraccion, but then quickly retracted her hand, "No, wait, you're gay, right? So maybe those guys," she said, pointing instead to Szayel and his fraccion.
"Bean-chan?" Hiko asked curiously as he stepped back from treating Roy, allowing the Shinigami to do her job. He watched in interest as Rinako began to heal Roy. He had never seen a Shinigami heal before, and this was completely new to him. He wanted to ask how she was doing it, but soon dismissed the idea; he was a doctor, a man who treated humans the way he was taught.
Quincy or not, he was a man of science. He couldn't change that.
He turned to Makana, pushing up his glasses with his good hand, "The shinigami have arrived. What are we going to do?"
The blonde arrancar twitched as Hatter continued to make faces at him. He curled his hands into a fist, trying to control his anger in front of Celia. But goddamn, it was hard.
"I'm going to cut you," he growled towards Hatter, just as the madman turned his attention to other, idiotic things. Oh, he was definitely going to get him after this, preferably when his Espada wasn't around.
"Darui, pick whoever you want."
At this, Darui instantly perked, the anger he held towards Hatter completely vanishing within moments. "Whoever I want, eh?" he asked again, stepping forward and bending his knee, propping his elbow on it as he scanned the area in front of him. He only half-heard Hatter declare the sunglass-wearing shinigami as his opponent when the blonde finally made his choice.
"Fine. I guess I'll fight..." he said, pointing straight at the source of the unnatural gleam amongst the shinigami, "That bald guy over there! He looks like a fighter!"
"Ah c'mon, Isamu!" The lieutenant rolled his eyes as Masaru reached out and lightly punched his shoulder. "How can I not? I'm excited, a'right? Gonna kick some ass to make up for the scars on m'back! Hey, wanna make a bet?"
"For the love of...a bet? Really, Masaru?" Isamu asked with a sigh, knowing full well about Masaru's love of gambling. He honestly didn't know how the man could easily brush of something like this and compare it to betting. But, knowing Masaru, he wouldn't stop pushing this 'bet' until he agreed to it, and, well, might as well do this sooner rather than later. "What kind of bet this time?" he asked in slight exasperation.
Yumichika stepped out of the Senkaimon soon after Ikkaku, running a hand through his hair.
"Well, look at the party," he remarked, examining the scene unfolding in front of him, "Looks like we arrived just in time for the main event."
He looked ahead and saw that his Captain, with Yachiru on his shoulder as usual, heading straight for that arrancar with the ridiculous spoon-hood. A spoon-hood? Really? What is it with these arrancar and their non-existent sense of aesthetics?
"Well, that hideous kitchen utensil is out of the picture," Yumichika remarked to Ikkaku, just as he looked up and saw a strange blonde arrancar pointing to his friend, "And look, it seems an idiot wants to fight you."
Kitsune eagerly look at the espada as he waited to see what he would do. A battle of battle was going to begin and Kitsune would be a witness and a participator. Not now but soon, he didn't realize it but a familiar reiatsu vanished. Kitsune was completely oblivious to the fact that signature was important very important.
"Senji won't come back for a while hopefully"
Kitsune glared onto the battleground. With that though he figure he should savory everything even pain. He might not feel it for a while, with the fact he would eventually be pulled back from into Senji subconscious. If he would grow stronger and Senji strength would be unchanged then he would become the one in control.
Senji would learn how it felt to be the one in the ocean of despair while Kitsune had all the fun. It wasn't just a thought to Kitsune it was going to happen. Since Senji was a weakling and Kitsune was the stronger one he would gain full control one day. It was only a matter of time nothing else.
Kitsune smirked at that thought and continued looking forward he could smell the blood lust in the air, a very familiar scent.

"Come on, why isn't there anyone at my level?" thought Kazuma. This was just getting boring, he wanted to fight, but he wanted a fair fight. His strength he knew well and most of the hollows out here were above his ability level, but there were still some that he could fight, the matter was just finding them. He tried thinking of what he should do to find an opponent. Besides, even if he were to jump into the middle of the battle field, he probably wouldn't be sought out right away, at least not by someone who was an even match for him.
"Why don't you just pump out a little reiatsu and see who comes to challenge you? said his zanpakuto, she seemed eager to fight as well, but she was always her polite old self, not getting too riled up at the inaction.
"Yeah....Alright I'll try that." Kazuma sat down and yawned, it really was late, then began to expel more spiritual pressure than he usually would, hoping to attract the attention on someone around his level. Maybe an Arrancar would be interested and come knocking, then he would be ready. "This better work Hime, or else I'm gonna look really stupid." said Kazuma in a serious tone.
"Oh don't be so worried, they're hollows, strong hollows, but still hollows and they'll go to whatever spiritual pressure they think they can match."
(OOC: Looking to fight a Mid-Level/Average Arrancar.)

Stour nodded to Szayel, and without a word vanished off via sonido, towards a random grouping of reiatsu. He would hope to get lucky in his guess that someone here was worth taking, while others under Szayel would likely be less quick to choose. Glancing around where he had arrived, he smirked a nasty smirk. Were these just humans with powers?
"Well, then..." Stour said, toning his reiatsu down sharply, making its outflow only seem as if he was a grunt or footsoldier. He hoped this would make this group of people think he would be easily staved off.
[aa00ff]"You!" Stour pointed his index finger at Roy. Roy seemed to have some amount of control over this group. [aa00ff]"Fight me."
Stour didn't change his stance, other than letting his arm slowly move to rest at his side. His pesquisa was on high-alert. In a matter of moments he could muster the capacity to bring up his Hierro to full potential, or if it came down to it, use his exoskeleton.
He sincerely hoped it didn't come to that.
{To be continued in the split thread?}
Tels strolled past his Captain, looking around. He would simply have to make himself useful wherever he had to. He simply flash stepped several yards into the air above the fight, and looked down at the scene. He would try to aid the first person he saw in trouble.
He would try....
