General Information
--------------------
Name: Riza Dylandy
Age: 3
Gender: Female
Appearance
Riza is a typical average little girl. Being three years of age, Riza stands at two and half feet in height, and doesn't weigh that much. She is of a mixed background family, so she has characteristics from both her parents. Her eyes are a oval shaped and are green in color. Most would say they are Roy's eyes, but when she is serious, they become just as fierce as Makana's. Over her button nose and slightly on her cheeks are the cutest of freckles. Riza counted them and has noted that she has at least ten. She points this out whenever someone ask about them.
Her hair is of a darker shade of brown than Roy, but not as curly. Her hair is straight and spiky, especially when it is put into two bunny ear ponytails. This is her usual hairstyle, keeping it tied with two red ball hair ties. Whether tied or not, Riza has two noticeable bangs that stick out in front of her face like antenna. It gives her a slight insect or alien like appearance, to which some have teased her over. This is usually met with a quick book chop to the head.
She often wears bright sundresses that Roy buys her with matching shoes. Underneath said dresses, she wears a white short sleeved dress shirt. Some times she likes to dress in more sporty clothes such as tee-shirts and sport shorts. These shirts always have some cute animal face on it as a logo. On her back Riza carries a lion head backpack that holds her book and other supplies. She wears a leather bracelet like her father on her right wrist.
Personality
This is where Makana's genes come in. Riza is very much like her mother, caring very little of the consequences and rushes into scuffs. This hotheaded behavior comes from her pride. If she is insulted, she will defend it with words, but if that fails, prepare to get a pounding with a book. Her favorite attack to do with what she calls 'normal' people is to pull out her history book, and chop them in the head. Believing she is always right, Riza almost never ask anyone for help, and will often hit Makana's students or talking down to her in baby talk. She dislikes being treated like a child, despite being one, and is very mature for her age. And by mature, she can act like an adult but still has childish tendencies for her age. She often speaks with a high volume, especially if she is being ignored.
Being fully aware of her father's undying infatuation with her, Riza can get away with about anything with her father. She can give him those Bambi eyes, a quiver in her lower lips, and boom, she had him the palm of her hand. Most would say he's wrapped around her little finger, but she knows her limits with what she can get away with. She would never manipulate her dad into something awful, though she may do it just to get him in trouble with Makana. Despite her cunning manipulation, Riza loves her father with all her heart. She loves everything about him, even his smell, though that's just a bit weird. She would love nothing more than to be wrapped in one of his large shirts to sleep in.
Makana on the other hand is a different story. She is well aware of her daughter's games and can not be manipulated like Roy. This doesn't effect Riza's love for her mother. If anything, this makes her mother the greatest challenge for her young mind. Makana is respected far more than Roy, a worthy foe and teacher in the ways of the mind. One day she shall beat her mother in a battle of the minds, but until then, she shall learn from her. If anything, Makana's personality is rubbing off on Riza like she were a sponge. Makana's students notice this as well and some have become very wary of Riza.
Riza is cunning when it comes to adults and other older people, seeing when her tricks can't get her out of a bad situation. Even though she is just a child, she is what some call advance for her age. She can already read on a third grade level, do simple math with little mistakes, and knows more about history then most middle schoolers . She can act like a little know-it-all, correcting people on grammar and historical facts (Makana would be proud).
Having been taught never to judge a book by its cover, Riza is indifferent towards Shinigami. Though she will not acknowledge their existence out of a simple rule never to talk to strangers, Riza will study them from a afar out of child-like curiosity. Though she holds the same curiosity towards hollows and hollow like beings, she knows better then to stay around while they are in the area. Riza is fully aware of her own limitations and will not enter a fight with something as powerful as a hollow.
Like most children her age, Riza enjoys sweets, toys, and cute animals. Her favorite sweets are gummies, cake pops, and chocolate covered jalapenos. Riza's favorite toy is her stuffed pig Ino. Riza is scared of bugs, any kind of bug. When she sees one, she'll cringe and try to squish it as soon as possible before she runs off screaming. She is also learning how to play the bagpipes, Riza is not very talented with them, but who can really tell?
History
What is that noise? I was in the middle of my premature thoughts and now a noise was interrupting them. Wait? Did I even have complicated thoughts that indicated some sort of intelligence? If I'm thinking that, then I am one smart cookie. These were Riza's first thoughts in her in her own world during the day she was born. She had never before seen a light such as the one at the end of the tunnel and her home was forcing her out.
She had emerged into a world filled with light, her little eyes trying hard to adjust to it. The first body she saw was a silhouette of someone and who ever it was just had her cleaned while her eyes adjusted. Once she was gently wiped down, such a violation that she will never forget or at least she thought she wouldn't, and was handed to another blurry face. This face however, was different. A very red faces that was crying with a smile in her face. This was a face she could grow to like, maybe even love.
Riza had come into this world like most children, with pain. With the hard part over with, she had been greeted to her mother's face before she was taken to a hospital where she was given a clean bill of health. Her first visit was from a strange man who was so happy to see her. He would come everyday to see her and Makana, even giving her affection that she liked. She really liked this guy, he was so silly and full of happiness, Riza was glad to have met her father for the first time.
She would then move from the comfort of the hospital, those strange people in white were annoying, and was brought to her first home. She was placed in a what the big ones called a crib filled with stuffed toys and was very soft. A spinning thing was above her, Riza was enchanted by how the figures would dance for her as they spun around. Just staring at it made her sleepy, ever so sleepy.
When she awoke, Riza was bombarded by so many different faces she thought she was in a crazy farm. Her mom introduced them to her as students and dad was giving them the business about washing hands. Riza was the star for the first year of her life. She would cry and get attention. Make a mess in those awful things they put on her bottom and they'd change them. She even got fed when she was hungry. Yep, she can get use to this kind of treatment. During one trip at the school, Riza met her first milestone.
She was enjoying visited dad and mom's students when one particular one came over. For some reason this one was just so annoying. She dragged her boyfriend with her and made baby noises at her. God, she hated when people other than the folks made those noises. So she spoke her mind for the first time ever. "Ba-ka." Her first word made fun of the annoying girl, she actually shut her mouth for a moment. Makana was super happy about it and Roy was depressed to have missed it, the students on the other hand were just seeing the future they were about to get.
Her life was the same routine until she started to crawl and then walk. She was a fast learner and her parents were eager to teach her more. At the age of two, Riza had shown a great love to read, and would read as often she could. Thanks to that, Riza was already advanced for her age. She could quote from text that those twice her age had no idea what she was talking about. She got in her first fight over being called a doo-do head for her strange vocabulary, to which the boy was in the dirt, and Riza scolded and praised for her actions.
Around here she had developed her spirit awareness. having always been an early learner, Riza was at one of Roy's training exercises when she first saw a Quincy Bow. Not one to just sit by and not try something new, Riza tried to make a bow. Though her reiastu was there, she couldn't form one. She had to figure out why, but she was too proud to just ask her parents. Riza dressed like a ninja, went into her parents room while they slept, and looked for the catalyst for the bow. No books under the bed, nor were there any papers in the dresser. She then noticed that both her parents had a bracelet on, to which she recalled they had always worn. Strangely drawn to this, she remembered that it was Roy's bracelet hand that held the bow, so putting two and two together, she knew what she had to do.
Like a thief in the night, Riza crawled on her belly like her father had shown her during one of his war stories, making her way to where his hand rested. It was lucky of her that Roy slept with his arm hanging over the bed, she easily slipped it off him, and went to her room. she liked how it smelled like her dad, strange way to like something by scent, but she had always enjoyed his smell. It was big on her, so with the help of some well placed rubber bands, she took the stance her dad had taken. She failed at first, only making a frizzle and some sparks. She hated to fail, Riza never failed. So she did it again and again, until she produced a bow. She was so happy, she squealed in uncontrollable joy that awoke her parents.
When they had entered the room to see what she had done, some yelling took place. It would seem that mom was not too thrilled about dad taking Riza to a practice run or the fact his bracelet was so easily taken. Dad stood there and took it, trying to get in a word, but just scratched the back of his head with a silly grin. She didn't know if what she did was bad or good, but mom was more mad at dad than her, so she took it as a win. From then on, Riza was taught about what she had done and her ancestry. She enjoyed the history lessons and really enjoyed the one on one lessons with Roy on how to fire properly. Makana didn't fire as straight but she was more informed on history than Roy, so that was a bonus.
During one lesson, Riza displayed an ability that Roy had never seen before. Like most children, Riza grew bored of certain things rather easily. Now, she didn't grow bored from the lessons, but rather of the bow itself. Since her reiastu control was just basic, she couldn't produce anything as spectacular as her parent's bows. Then she wondered about other projectile based weapons, researching the matter for days. Then a hypothesis came to her, what if Quincy could use more than just bows. She remembered a series of weapons that Roy had from his military days, so she went through his war chest. His guns were locked away in a suitcase too high for Riza to reach, not that she wanted to. Those things were stupid and useless for what she wanted to do.
She was looking for something special that he had stashed in here. Nope, not the flag. That knife was kinda intimidating, but luckily it was sheathed tightly. She tossed everything she didn't want behind her until she found what she was looking for. Like a hero in an old RPG video game, Riza held the item she wanted high in the air with admiration in her eyes. Yes, the military sling shot her dad had used to distract a terrorist from finding his comrades. Returning to her room after she cleaned up her mess, Riza used her dad's training to materialize her bow. She tried to concentrate the shape into the slingshot, but it didn't work at first. She kept doing her lessons with Roy but in private would train to change the bow into a slingshot. It took several months before she managed to do it and showed it off, bragging about it to her parents. Neither of them knew or even thought about changing the bow into something else, but that didn't matter. Riza's third birthday was coming up fast and they had planned a special present for her.
Riza was excited, all her little friends had come over to her home to have a party. Dad had a few of his friends over to celebrate, though none of them seemed to enjoy his infatuation with Riza. His bragging made them frown but Riza only enjoyed that he dad is her biggest fan. When a group of boys surrounded Riza to wish her a happy birthday, Roy got overprotective and scared them. Riza just giggled this of and blew out her candles on her cake. She recieved a lot of gifts, toys and books, and a stick from Roy's buddy Jack. Strange man, but he was amusing to mess with. When she was given Roy and Makana's gift, she was super excited. It was small, maybe the smallest box she had gotten today, but knowing her parents it was something special.
Special indeed. Upon opening, her face lit up and held her new bracelet in her hands. It looked just like her dad's, but had a different design on the cross that reminded her of her mother's. She put it on right then and there, but resisted producing her bow. She'll do that later when no one was around, except her parents. It was the best birthday she's ever had.

Origin of Powers
Riza is the product of not one, but two Quincy do the horizontal tango one night three years ago. She hadn't really have her ability to see ghost until her first birthday and didn't make her first bow until she was two. Over the course of that year, she has shown great ability as a quick learner and has even developed an ability that neither of her parents were aware of. She is currently being trained by Roy to use her powers properly and his extensive knowledge of hand to hand combat.
Quincy Cross
Her bracelet has a cross that resembles both Roy's and Makana's cross. It has a flower within the Celtic cross design. In the center of the flower is a blue gem that glows whenever she activates her powers. Being left handed, Riza wears her cross on her right wrist.
Quincy Bow
Riza can only summon a basic energy bow with a light blue light. She is still learning how to handle the full power of her bow, so it is very small compared to her parents. In total length, it is a foot and a half, nearly half her height. Although neither of them are fully aware of how she was able to pull it off, Riza has shown an ability to manifest a sling shot like reshi weapon with the same properties as her bow. It attaches itself on her forearm with blue energy straps, where a six inch handle appears in her hand, and a U-shape top that is three inches in height. When firing a shot from said slingshot, it leaves a pentacle flash in its wake.
Limitations: Due to her basic knowledge of reishi flow and usage, Riza can only wield her bow/slingshot for short periods of time. It takes a lot of focus to form either, though her slingshot comes easier than the bow. She has a limit of twenty five shots with her bow and only fifteen. Although her arrows are faster than her slingshot shots, her sling shot shots are more explosive.

Blut Vene
- Description of Attack - A defensive form of Blut, which grants the user inhuman durability to fight against inhuman opponents. It is represented by a faint pattern tracing the veins beneath the surface of the skin, which is only visible on the afflicted area when struck.
- Type - Defensive
- Range - Self
- Limitation - Due to several factors, mainly lack of knowledge and training, Riza has only demonstrated this ability subconsciously through instinct. This limits her by only being able to use this during life and death situations, much like how a mask for an untrained vizard will appear to dampen the overall damage. The main weakness of this technique is like any other technique, it isn't absolute. With sufficient power, one can tear through the Blut Vene. Those of higher tier than Riza, such as one or higher , can easily damage Riza. She can withstand those of equal tier with little damage on her part and those lower will find it difficult to even scratch her, if they manage to put her in a position for her to subconsciously activate it.

A Kanoji alarm clock rang with its usual slogan and a little hand slapped the off button. Her hair was puffy and in need of a good combing, and Riza knew it was going to be a long day. She was independent to her morning routine. First she would get up and then use the bathroom. There she would then brush her teeth, style her hair, and wash her face to wake up.
This was her mornings since she was able to walk and talk. An early learner, Riza picked up on her parents habits in the mornings and tried to remove some burdens for them. Though her dad would never call it that, he loved to do things for her anytime he got the chance. Once she got a dressed, she placed her book in her bag, and walked into the kitchen.
She wanted some cereal, but as always it was on the top of the fridge far out of her reach. "I thought I'd ask them to keep it on a lower shelf." She said to know one, although she thought no one was up.
She grabbed a chair and pushed it against the counter. She climbed up the chair, then onto the counter to retrieve her favorite cereal. Once she got the cereal, Riza walked over to get a bowl from the cabinet. After all that effort, she managed to pour the cereal for breakfast but is missing one key component. "I forgot the milk" Having face palmed herself, Riza hopped down to the chair and carried her bowl over to the fridge.
Once there, she pulled the chair over to keep the door open. Climbing up again, she reached for the milk and poured it into her bowl. She spilled some but Riza managed to get her breakfast, so in her mind she had won. But as she was enjoying her bowl, she heard a familiar laugh in the doorway, and turned to be greeted with one of her favorite people.
Roy had always woken up early and was already dressed for the day. "You know, if you'd waited, I would have made pancakes." He came over to her, patted the top of her head, and went to pick up her mess. Riza was all smiles at her dad picking up after her, his attention is one of the many things she loved about him
"Daddy, you know I prefer waffles." She finished her bowl than placed it in the dishwasher before she skipped over to hug her dad. "But the thought is nice." Returning the hug, Riza felt all the love in that hug. Once it was over with, Riza tottered off to get her things ready for the day.
