Arone is an unusual character. He is calm and sarcastic. Arone is very observant of other people. After one conversation he is likely to know your motives, your problems, and your desires. Arone also tends be cold, frequently not caring for the problems of others. Sometimes he may even get enjoyment out of the misery that befalls other people. He is normally seen grinning a toothy white smile. Even when he is disturbed. This makes it rather difficult to see what his actual thoughts are.

Arone is addicted to the sight, smell, and even the taste of blood. It causes him to reach psychotic state in which he laughs maniacally. He also appears to fight better in this state as well. He seems faster, stronger, but his normally cunning and quick witted attribute seems to disappear when in his crazy state.

Arone can also be a bit of an introvert. Not liking the presence of other people. Unless he fills an attachment to them. Those are rare and short lived. Like his motto goes, Don't be afraid to kill everyone you meet.

Arone stands at about 5,7 feet tall. Weighing in at about 118 pounds. He is a skinny fellow. You could easily see his rib cage. For a skinny dude he has a pretty good muscular build.

Arone's most distinguishing feature is is his purple eyes. People often question this. Thinking they might be contacts. Another interesting feature is his silver slicked back hair.

His apparel is different from most soul reapers. He dresses like a regular human often. He often wears a black and red jacket. He loves look of skinny jeans on him. Their colors consist of purple, red black and orange. He constantly asks people there opinion them. He has both of his ears heavily pierced, with industrial piercings and gages.

Zanpakuto Spirit:

Name: Tetsu
Part 1 Appearance: Tetsu is tall dark figure. She resembles a vampire. She is 6,6 feet tall, and weighs 160 pounds. She dwarfs her master and never lets him forget it. Tetsu has bright red eyes, and long black hair. She has a very curvy and attractive looking build.

Part 2 Personality: She is very flirtatious. This trait annoys Arone somewhat. She is one of the few people who can cause him to show emotion. Mostly anger. She also has a keen intellect to match her masters. She shares a love for blood with her master. After all she is a vampire. Tetsu and her master for the most part get along very well.

Part 3 Inner World: Tetsu's inner world represents a world split in two halves. One that is has an everlasting day of peace and happiness. With a beautiful blue sky.
The other half is a world in ruin with a blood red sky. A temple resides in the center of the worlds.

Sealed Zanpakuto:

Arone's Zanpakuto looks like a chinese broad sword. It is about 2.5 feet in length. It weighs about 20 pounds.

After activating the Zanpakuto changes into a large Scythe. About 6 feet long. Colors consisting black and purple. The scythe is littered with chains. The chains have their miscellaneous uses. The scythe is also covered in strange looking mouths. The Scythe starts off with 5 blades and goes down as Arone's spiritual pressure goes down.
The scythe is surprisingly light weight for it's size.

Shikai Abilities:

Blood Manipulation- The mouths on the Zanpakuto spit a large amount of blood. Arone then manipulates said blood into different forms for different uses.

Effects- The blood changes shape and density. It can be used as a weapon, shield or even to heal.

Limitation- Mostly just the distance and amount of blood.

History/Background:

Arone was born into the soul society. His father planned to raise him to become the perfect soldier. With his mother no where to be found he had little choice in the matter. His father trained him harshly so that he would gain a high enough spiritual pressure so that he could enter the academy.

Arone always envied humans, they had so much more freedom then he himself had. He would have short visits to the human world for a rest and to watch the humans. He was fascinated by them.
Once his father found out about this fascination of his he harshly punished him. The punishments were inhuman, luckily he was a shinnigami.

Arone finally joined the academy. At the age of 100. But the years of his fathers torture took its toll. Arone didn't speak, made no friends, and was picked on because of it.

One day he snapped, whent psycho and killed all the 3 of his bullies. He was taken to the research branch to mend his broken psyche.
However his father was blamed for his mental instability. And was banished forever to the human world.

At the age 175 Arone was finally released from the research branch. They fixed his frown. Now he always smiles. They affected his speech. He could now talk. Although it always has a sarcastic undertone now. The only emotion he could express was happiness. But that was the best they could do.

However shortly after leaving the research institute Arone's IQ increased greatly. It went from a mere 128 to 220. That is beyond genius. However he only uses it for 1 reason. Observation, he loves to pick at people just by talking to them. Because of his high IQ he immediately passed the academy and became a soul reaper in the 12 division, the same research institute that supposedly fixed him.

Upon recieving his Zanpakuto, he made what seemed to be his 1st friend with the spirit. Tetsu became his 1st real companion. They became an excellent team.

14 years later Arone found out about what happened to his father. About how he was banished to the human world. Arone just laughed after hearing. He gets what he deserved. Thats what he said but he secretly wanted to meet him. He got his chance when he was sent to the human world on a mission to kill a hollow.

" It's you?" a scratchy old voice said
" Father, I'm flattered you remember me." Arone said in a mocking tone.
People stared as the strange man began talking to himself. However they quickly fell to the floor do to Arone's spiritual pressure.
" Hehehe" Arone's father chuckled
" What's so funny dad?" Arone asked
" You think you can kill me." His father answered.
" I know I can kill you" Arone stated.
Arone unsheathes his Zanpakuto.
"Sang Tetsu" Arone sais as his Zanpakuto transforms into its malicious looking scythe.
" You've gained your Zanpakuto?" Arone's father stammers.
"Heheh of course I have. I've graduated from the academy." Arone said in superior tone.
"Then you may be more of challenge then recently expected."
Arones father pulls out his Zanpakuto.
"What!? you have 1 too?" Arone stammered.
He races towards Arone at blistering speed. A lunges sword at Arones neck.
Arone blocks with Tetsu.
"Blood Manipulation!" Blood oozes of the mouths on Tetsu. The blood levitates up. Arone is shrouded in shards of blood.
The shards lash out at Arones father cutting him into tiny pieces.
"Hahaha! There is blood everywhere! Amazing isn't it Tetsu?" Arone asked his Zanpakuto.
" Indeed, but aren't you gonna get in trouble for killing a mortal?"
Tetsu asked.
"Probably not, he retained some of his soul reaper powers and was a danger to humans. I was simply ridding the world of a danger". Arone explained.

You're going to have to elaborate on this more. How will he find out? Will it be in character acting, or will you metagame them?
If the before mentioned then there's no guarentee that such things will be touched upon, so it's not always likely he'll know any of those things.

If it's the latter, then that's against the rules.

Arone also tends be cold, frequently not caring for the problems of others.

If he doesn't care about a person's problems why would he ask? That more or less nulls the possibility that he'd learn anything unless the conversational partner actively wants to tell which isn't always going to happen.

Again, if you're going to metagame the answers to what a person wants, their problems, etc. it's against the rules.

You'll have to elaborate more on this.
Does it actually raise his abilities, or does it have him reach his potential due to holding back earlier? We, as staff, have to be careful about these berserker states, and boosts in power, especially since the trigger in your case is extremely common in battle.

If he's addicted to the senory input of blood, how far will he go to taste it? Does he crave it at all when none is particularly visible? Is it a costant craving? Why doesn't he act on said cravings when not seeing it?

Appearance wise, he completely goes against the dress code of the Shinigami. What makes him identifiable as a shinigami aside from his sword which may make him look like someone illegally possessing a sword since he wears nothing of a shinigami's uniform?

How long are these chains? Can they be used as weapons? If so, how so?

The big problem is that we never give people unlimited power over an element.
Is it only the blood form the scythe, or can he control other blood from other sources?

You have several different abilities crammed into one which is a problem, and the limitations need elaboration.

Shape/density manipulation: How far does this go? Does the blood have to be connected to a central pool for this to work? How far does this ability reach?
Just how fine is the control here? Can he make doubles of himself, or create attacking shapes? Can he attack like some great tentacled beast?
None of the limitations offer any insight.

This needs a lot of elaboration. Can he make weapons out of it and wieled them? Projectiles? Tentacles? Is it, in "weapon" use as tough as a zanpakuto?

What kind of shield? The kind that straps onto the arm? A wall? Just how large can the shield get? How resillient is the shield?

Depending on these answers, the ability to make weapons and shields might actually be two abilities.

Healing: This is a whole other power, and it has it's own set of questions, and limitations to prevent abuse.
Can it heal the wielder of the zanpakuto? Can it heal others? How fast does it heal? How does it heal? How -fast- does it heal? How much can it heal?

No, he'd more likely go to the Nest of Maggots until they see him as reformed, and this could take years.

That's quite the harsh penalty just for being a lousy parent. Also "instability, and" as opposed to "instability. And" for nitpicking's sake.
