The sun shone brightly in the light blue sky, the wind blew gently, and the birds chirped happily as Ryu walked toward his Captain's office. He had heard stories about his captain, this Hitsugaya. As far as the stories go, he has the strongest Ice type Zanpakuto and was the youngest of the captains to boot. Ryu smiles and laughed in excitement.
"I can't wait to meet him!" he says aloud.
"I can see you are happy" a voice says in his head.
"You bet ya Kaminari. This Hitsugaya sounds like a really... cool guy" Ryu says, chuckling at his own joke. He hears a slight groan in his head.
"That was terrible, just don't tell any jokes like that and you should be fine" Kaminari mused. Ryu nods nears the 10th division headquarters building. Walking to the door inhales and exhales deeply, then knocks.

Histyugaya was sitting in his office just going the papers like he does, after all he likes is divison to be tidy as he is filling the last bit of paper he hears a knock at his door, with that he looks up and says in a somewhat mellow tone “ Come in is open” He then carrys on looking at the door wating to see who was knocking at the door.

Ryu opens the door and steps into the office. Hitsugaya is working diligently at his paperwork, just as Ryu heard he does instead of his Lieutenant. Bowing slightly he greets his Captain. Ryu is wearing his normal clothes. A black long sleeved shirt, black pants, a yellow tunic, white boots with with yellow tips and a white belt with a yellow center piece, his black hair is spiked as usual. "Perhaps I should have wore my shinigami uniform" Ryu thinks to himself.
"Hello Captain Hitsugaya. My name is Ryu Mizumagi and I have been assigned to your Division. I look forward to working with you and anyone else within this Division." Ryu says as he extends a hand to Hitsugaya. "I do not know if it is appropriate to shake the hand of your Captain upon first meeting, but I find i best to befriend those you are to work with in the field" He says with a smile as he rubs the back of his head with his other hand.

Hitsugaya, watched as the young man walks in and heads over to the desk
Where he is sitting, he then listens to him saying hello and trying to be all respectful with that Hitsugaya gets up and walks over to Ryu, and begins to shake his hand, at this time ryu would be able to tell he is the king of ice, as his hands would be a bit cold, well shaking his hand he says to Ryu
“ First thing is from now on I expect you to wear what you were issued, I don’t want my division looking like a mess if I let my paper work get like that it would be chaos, now as for your first job, you can help me sort through my vice captains stack of papers she never does what she is told.

As the two separate hands Ryu looks down as his own hand. It is a bit cold, he moves it a couple of time, then lets a surge of electricity run through it, allowing it to warm up. A couple of sparks of electricity seem to run over the skin of Ryu's hand. He then looks to his new captain and nods.
"No problem" he says looking around the room. "Where are her papers" He says. As he is given his assignment Ryu asks Hitsugaya "Who is your lieutenant anyway?" Surely behind such a powerful captain is an equally powerful second in command Ryu mused in his head.

Hitsugaya points to the stack of paper work on the desk next to him, so ryu can see where the papers are Hitsugaya then goes back to sitting at his desk and says. “My vice captain is Rangiku Matsumoto and don’t ask me where she is she tryes to avoid doing any paper work which makes my job so much more harder, but I have faith in you, you seem like the guy who will get stuff done which is what I am looking for.

Ryu chuckles a bit and walks to the desk. "Actually, I hate paperwork, but I think I can make an exception for my captain. I mean, after all you can't have two members of your team running off while you do all the paperwork" Ryu says, clearly joking. As he sits down at the desk and looks to Hitsugaya. "What exactly are these papers for? I've talked to a few other Shinigami around here and they never mention anything about their Captains doing this kind of paperwork." Ryu says as he begins to read a few of the paper, labeling and dating here and there, filing this and that, signing here, sealing this. This seemed tedious, Ryu felt like yawning, what had he gotten himself into. Then he chuckled a bit, anything for a friend I guess.

Hitsugaya, watches as Ryu begins to file and stamp the paper work, just like a real vice captain would he then hears him say something so he looks to him and says “Don’t worry about what they are, there for vice captains and captains eyes only so don’t go blasting what you read around the place if so there going be problems but most of them are reports on members of Tenth Division, and don’t try to find yours you isn’t got one yet over time you will but finish up here and head to the training ground I want all tenth to be there

Ryu listens to his captain speak as he finishes up his paper work. He smiles a bit to himself. This isn't so bad. As long as he has someone to talk to while doing the paperwork it isn't as boring as he thought.
Ryu nods as Hitsugaya says he wants all of the Tenth Division at the training ground. Finishing his paperwork he stands and follows him out of the building.
"Wonder what we're going to be doing" He asks himself
"Don't forget to ask him what we discussed" Kaminari says.
Ryu nods "Yeah, I know"
