With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
"It really is a great collection. It has a wide variety of hollows with many intriguing powers. It would certainly help prepare for anything you see on the battlefield." Ryon seemed to be excited while talking about the hollows. Stop talking about you ****ing hollow collection! Its really NOT cool. You're grossing out my beautiful, scrumptious, muffin! She doesn't even know who you are! And my collection is too cool!
Ryon hurried over to the completed poison to look it over. "Hmmmm.......yes.....it looks terrific! The aroma it emits proves to be quite potent. Ryon turned to Saito and smiled. "No worries, I haven't come across a poison that I didn't have a cure for. And if there happens to be no antidote for this one, then my death is only the consequence of my carelessness in the lab."

"We have poisons that can kill in the time it takes to take 3 steps," Soifon said informatively, "And these are faster than that."
"Do you need slower acting poisons? I'm sure my poison specialists could make a designer poison to suit your needs," She realized that it she might have picked poisons that worked too fast. Couldn't call her inconsiderate, could you?
Soifon worked with her 2 subordinates as well versed as they, if not more so, and could manage to multitask in talking with Ryon as she did so.
"Perhaps I shall have a look when the poisons are delivered?" she seemed interested not because it was like the zoo, or a romantic sunset, but she wanted to learn how to kill the bastards if she ever met something similar, or if, heaven forbid, the hollows ever escaped.
Of course there were motives under the motives, and motives below those. Assuredly, none were romantic, but there were many motives.
Ryon's eyes lit up when Soifon told him about how effective the poisons were. "No don't worry at all, I'm looking for the strongest poison I can get. It should be really interesting to see what your poison can do in my experiments. You see I believe ginseng has highly untapped detoxification properties and I'm looking to make an antidote using it as a base. The poison you and your squad has created is greatly appreciated."
Ryon bowed in thanks to Soifon. She had been extremely helpful and the poison would certainly be put to good use. If the ginseng wasn't adequate for the antidote then Ryon could simply use the poison on some of the hollows to see the reactions.
"Oh? So you are interested in seeing them. Very good, I'm sure they won't disappoint. Ryon was gleeful on the inside. Did his line actually work? It was the first time anyone had expressed interest in his collection. You.....it actually worked......were going to have that magnificiant booty in our lab! I can't believe I'm going to say this Ryon, but.......I........Love You.

"It's no problem," Soifon said calmly as she put put the poison she completed into a sturdy vial, which was placed with the other vial of completed poison, then she began the antidote to the poison she made.
Her other subordinate finished the poison, and followed suit.
"We should be done soon," Soifon commented calmly.
"Then I shall see this hollow collection of yours." She added.
Eiko chimed in, finally, after being quiet, and in the background so long, "Captain Soifon, is there anything I may do to speed the process?"
Soifon looked up at Eiko, then asked her to bring a rather rare, and potent ingredient from off the shelf.
Eiko bows in thanks, then did just that, being rather careful, "I must say, it's a pleasure to be in the company of squad two again, Captain Soifon."
Soifon let out a quick "hn" of acknowledgment and resumed work grinding up the ingredient.
Ryon picked up the completed vial and examined it. "Perfect. This will do just fine. Once you're done with that one we'll make out way over to my lab."
Ryon watched as Eiko offered a hand to the captain. He thought it was rather pathetic. Such a desire to be accepted by someone who wasn't even her captain. Ryon thought it showed a certain lack of self confidence, maybe the same thing that had kept her from getting the seat she had wanted. If she was looking for warm acceptance, Soifon wasn't the place to go.
"I should send over a Hell Butterfly to tell my vice captain that you shall be visiting the lab. We will be sure to give you a warm welcome." In truth Ryon had remembered that the lab may be looking rather messy as he left mid experiment to get the supplies he needed. Nemu could get some of the lower seats to clean up before the Captain returned.
Ryon released the butterfly which quickly departed and made its way towards the research division. Good thinking, we need to impress that fine behind! She surely doesn't want to walk in and see blood and guts everywhere.
Soifon nodded to Ryon, "Good thinking," she said to Ryon.
She never could understand why Nemu was squad 12, and not Squad 2... She seemed more suited for her squad than the research squad... Well, such things could not be helped.
The team+ Eiko worked on the antidotes to the violent, deadly poisons calmly, and made good progress, and neared completion, even!
Soifon finished up first, and the team had only a few more minutes to go for the last antidote.
Soifon stood, then nodded to Eiko,"I'm glad your skills haven't dulled." Her words weren't really nice, more blunt, and stuff. It would insult Soifon if the skills had dulled.
Eiko bowed politely to Soifon,"Your words mean much."
The team of 2nd division chemists neared the completion of their antidotes. Ryon had grown tired of waiting. It wasn't that he was impatient, it was just the atmosphere of being around these people. Everything was cut and dry, no emotion, no fun. He was looking forward to returning to his lab and showing off his collection. The excitement was already beginning to build up inside him.
He walked over to Soifon and took the antidote from her making sure to bow politely. "Will you be giving me the recipes for these poisons and antidotes as well?" Ryon didn't take his eyes off the antidote as he spoke to Soifon. A smile crept to his lips as he looked the vial up and down. "On second thought, don't give them to me. I think I'll have much more fun analyzing them myself.
Ryon was snapped out of his trance like state by Mijin. "Tell her she did a terrific job! And tell her that it looks like she has been doing her squats! Girls love it when you compliment their magnificent buns!" Ryon looked up to see Soifon watching over the others as they finished their jobs. "Uhm, Soifon. You did a terrific job making these for me. I am very thankful. "What the hell?! You didn't tell her about the squats! "Shut up Mijin! I told you she is a captain and deserves more respect than that! "Tch.......call it what you want. But I know deep down your just a little pussy!
"Of course. We have enough potion to kill half your squad. If it gets loose, you'll need more antidote than we've made," Soifon said as if the virus was more like a plague.
Soifon wrote out the recipes for the poisons, and the antidotes in clear writing to make sure there was no muckups if hell broke loose. "If you insist on trying to figure them out, though," she folded up the antidote recipes rapidly and didn't let him see any of the writing, and left them as a cheat sheet packaged with the poison recipe as both sheets were placed into an envelope.
The underlings declared their task finished, and the vials were put into a sturdy case. They were being very cautious over it.
She nodded simply at the compliment. She knew they did an excellent job. Soifon took up the case like it was a lunch box from hell, "All right, Captain Ryon. I am ready to depart. I hope your squad has time to prepare."
Eiko gingerly spoke up, "Ah... I must return to Squad 4 duties if that's okay?" She said shyly.
Soifon nodded to the Kunoichi medic. Deep down she enjoyed Eiko's dedication to work, even though she slacked some. Every person in her unit was afforded time to rest, though.
Ryon reluctantly took the envelope. "Damn.....this is going to keep me tempted.....but I guess its for the best. Ryon held it up to the light seeing if he could see anything and then placed it inside his haori. "Yes Nemu should have had plenty of time to clean the lab. Shes quite the obedient vice captain.
Nuuuu! Don't let Eiko and her luscious mountains leave us! At least give her a good goodbye, maybe a kiss! Ryon walked over to Eiko and took her hand into his. "It was a pleasure meeting you, thanks for your help." Ryon lifted her hands to his mouth and placed a gentle kiss on them. I did it Mijin! I kissed her! A kiss on the hands?! Thats not what I meant idiot! Errr.......I guess it could have been worse. That actually wasn't bad considering its you.
Ryon turned back to Captain Soifon. "Yes it seems to be time to go. Please follow me Captain. Ryon turned towards the door and began to leave. Pssst....if you get the chance.....slip one of "these" into her drink!
Eiko giggled playfully at the kiss, then shot a cute, semi-sultry smile at Ryon, then slipped out of the poison brewery of a room the group are in, and spoke along the way, "A pleasure meeting you all, and being helpful." Then headed back to Squad 4. She really was a bit late for an appointment.
Soifon nodded calmly to Ryon, then looked at her 2 subordinates, "You're dismissed to do... what ever it is you do with free time," Soifon said as if she didn't care.
Her attention went to Ryon,"I'm ready. Let's go," she said bluntly, then walked after Ryon calmly. Her face was the typical over-serious visage as she followed behind him with the case strap in one hand which let it hang at her side like a boxy purse.
Looking at her at some angles... she almost looked like a girl going to school.
Soifon didn't have any interest in speaking apparently as she walked silently, perhaps silently enough to force Ryon to look back at her to make sure she were still there as her feet made no noise on the planks of wood.
