Hollows In The Highschool..

Yumeji let the boys talk as she walked towards the hollow who stood as she did, then shook off the stars.

The hollow regarded Yumeji calmly, and she, in turn, regarded the hollow with a stoic calm that befitted Yamamoto back in the day.

The wind blew, and picked up her clothing, and made her long, long ponytail whip in the wind.

A classic showdown!!!

"Monkey wanna 'nanna?" Yumeji broke the silence, and the cool with a straight faced joke as she watched the hollow with a steely gaze.

The Hollow recoiled at the statement and seemed as confused as anyone else around, and held the recoiled pose. The quiet showdown started again as the Hollow tried to make sense of things, and Yumeji simply stood there like a statue with her hands on the pommel of her sword, her sword resting on thin air as if it were ground.

Tsubame, Yumeji's spirit projected into Yumeji's field of vision, though no one else could see her, and she spoke, "Yumeji, stop fooling around. You're burning Shikai time."
Yes, Yumeji was in her Shikai state, but with her humble, and bland appearance, one would be hard pressed to tell!

Yumeji said, seemingly to herself, "I know this. I don't care..."
But in reality she spoke to Tsubame who gave a defeated sigh, then dissolved back to the inner realm with a toss of her hands.


This confused the hollow more... One could practically see the giant sweat drop on it's head.

"Well?" Yumeji said to the hollow which snapped it out of it's stupor, her demeanor still cool, and serious despite her odd behavior.

The Hollow binked behind it's mask, then roared loudly!!!
The beat brought an arm to strike Yumeji in a vicious backhand!!!

CLASH!!! The forearm smashed into her sheathed sword, and came to a stop as Yumeji skidded along in the air taking the brunt of the assault!
Slatch! Slatch! Ker-chack!
It was hard as heck to see, but she drew her sword while holding the beast's arm at bay, sliced it in the same move, then slashed the arm again as she sheathed her sword!
So fast, so polished, so perfect was her assault that the Hollow didn't even notice it's arm flying off with hollow liquids flying all over the place until it saw Yumeji there with her defensive stance, unfazed by the assault!

Yumeji drew her sword again, and only the sheen of steel could be seen as she sliced the Hollow's head in half along with part of the chest! A feat that no Katana could do as it lacked the reach!
But looking at her Zanpakuto, one could plainly see, as she paused after her Iai slash, that it grew to a mighty 6ft long sword, and her scabbard grew to match!!

The Hollow's vision stared at the woman with blood from it's arm still in the air, then his vision was slashed, and went distorted before the Hollow began to disintegrate.

Yumeji remained in her post slash pose as she watched the whole thing happen as if it were in slow motion.

Satsu glared at Yumeji, too distracted by her performence to notice Gozen in pain. "Show-off!" He yelled before looking back at Gozen."Now what was I.....Are you ok?" He leaned closer to his face and examined him. He then turned back to Yumeji. "Heeeey! I think he's broken or something!" He yelled at her with an oblivious, almost stupid tone. "You better get over here!" He looked back at Gozen curiously. "You aint gonna die are ya?" He asked plainly, waiting for Yumeji to get over to there to help.

Gozen had the sides of his head grasped tightly, still wincing as though in pain. His thoughts were racing and his soul still tried to break the barrier within Gozen's mind. Gozen was hurting himself from the inside, and his spiritual pressure was fluxuating. Gozen felt like he was going to die, when he lost his footing and rolled off the building. Any normal person who was in that sort of pain would of just fell off and died, but right when Gozen was about to fall, he caught the side of the roof, and pulled himself up. He got back up there and it seemed the shock of the near-fall had gotten Gozen back to his senses. He sat down beside satsu and said, "No, i'm fine now.." What just happened? He thought. His soul had almost destroyed itself, working against a spiritual barrier that held in his memories and his unawakened powers. In it's current state, it isnt POSSIBLE that he could break that barrier, no matter what the circumstances...

"Striiike a pose!" Yumeji said in a jocular manner as she whirled her sword in hand to the left, then to the right in circular, vertical motions which cleaned the blood off it, then slammed the sword into the scabbard, and, well, she posed all dramatically looking over at the boys over her shoulder hunched over in a low stance with one hand on the hilt of her sword, the other on the scabbard.

She stood upright, then walked on over, "Whazzup with that guy? He looks all messed up..." she looks at Satsu, "You break him?" she asked seriously...
"YOU BROKE HIM DIDN'T YOU!!!" she said angrily at Satsu with her eyes going wide with anger, then before he could answer, she laughed, "Just kidding. I heard ya."

She walked over to Gozen, then blinked as he seemed to leap off the roof, catch himself, then haul his butt up, then proclaim that he was okay.
"Kid, you need some aleive, or something for that head of yours," she said seriously, then shook her head unimpressed.

"So, everyone he's okay, then?" she asked them both.

Satsu let out a sigh. Trying to get a grip on everything. "Yeah I"m fine. He seems a little off though." He said looking a Gozen. He then looked back at Yumeji and held his hand out. "I'm Satsu." He said stareing at the silly, and strange shinigami. He slightly blushed and looked towards the ground.

"Heya Satsu, I'm Yumeji Rashoujin," she shook his hand.
"Aaww! Why you so shy?" she immediately caught onto his body language, "I'm not gunna bite ya, or go man handling you," she reassured him, but how much assurance could he get from an odd job like her?

"Chill, man," she grinned at Satsu broadly.
"So, what brings you here? Just come to see about the hell raised, or wha?"

She seemed to have forgotten about the silent, clumsy, Gozen for the moment, as he hadn't done anything in the time between she and Satsu last did something.

She placed her Zanpakuto at her side, and it stuck to her hip like a magnet, and that freed up her other hand. There was no ropes, belt, or anything else obvious that bound it to her, yet it stayed.

Satsu smiled and looked back up at Yumeji. "Nice yo meet you too." His smiled grew and imitated the broad smile Yumeji gave him. "She pretty aint she?" The shrill voice echoed in his head again. "No! Well...yea, I dont...." He blushed again, not realizing it looks like he just yelled at himself for sometime. "Oh that was...uh....my Zanpakuto spirit was talking to me." He said rubbing the back of his head with his hand. He laughed slightly, hoping they would buy it, even though he wasnt entirly sure what the voice was, only that its been there for a long time.

Gozen watched all this and a sweat drop appeared on the back of his head when Satsu went to explaining why he yelled at himself. He had no idea what he was talking about, and he didnt know what a "zanpakuto" was. He looked over to Yumeji to see what her reaction was, and then looked up to the sky. A thought raced across his head and he said, "Well, looks like i'm skipping school today.." and he got up and climbed down the ladder..

"Later, Boyoooo" she partly sang out her words as she waved to Gozen bent over a bit to watch him climb down. What he did with his life was his business. She wasn't some feel good after school special public service announcement.

She straightened up, then looked at Satsu, "Yeah, my Zanpakuto spirit talks to me, too. Mine's nice. Yours seems to like getting you into trouble though," she snickered at his misfortune some, then brushed some of her bangs back from her face.
"A lot of people get that problem, don't they?"

Satsu laughed slighty. "I guess so." He looked At Gozen leaving. "You be carfeul now!" He yelled waving. He turned back to Yumeji. "So, are you here on a mission?" He asked still smiling. A slight breeze rattles the chains on his outfit,
