With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Gozen was walking to his class when he heard a huge crash, and a long roar. Gozen had heard that roar before... he couldnt quite put his finger on it. He rushed over to where the sound was coming from and it led him outside of the school. And what he saw once he got out there was terrifying. It was a giant masked monster in the shape of a gargantuan gorilla. Its massive hands rested on the ground, and it's smaller legs supported its unproportunately small lower body. One arm was raised and it had someone in it's hand! He saw a chain reaching down from the person's chest, going down to a body. Gozen was terrified and tried to back away, when he found that the monster had seen him...

Yumeji was out on one of her exploratory missions in a Gigai that was dressed as a high school student, though the skirt was down to her ankles instead of being regulation length. Stupid men would stop to oggle her legs, she figured! And not enough women! Certainly not worthwhile!! Anyhow, with her bag in hand, she waked the school halls, and blended in perfectly with the rest of the students save for her long skirt. She looked over the members of the school curiously as it was in between classes with the hustle, and bustle of it all.
She had that sort of cocky swagger that had her wobbling a bit as she walked stiff legged.
So far the day was interesting, and it made her fairly happy, but that was soon ruined by annoyance! A hollow! And a big, dumb one it looked like!
She pulled out what looked like a pez dispenser, then popped a soul candy into her mouth so she quickly made the transition to Shinigami form, then leapt out the window to hover in front of the Gorilla,
She held her simple zanpakuto like a cane as it was still in it's scabbard, with one hand resting on the pommel. She twisted the pinkie of her other hand into her ear, then looked at the Hollow. "Ooooooiiiiiy! Oozaru! Shut your noise!!!" she shouted at the beast in a lazy nasal voice, then pushed some of her bangs aside to get them out of her eyes.

Satsu let out a small sigh while watching the Shinigami and hollow. He sat on the edge of the school roof wearing his normal white outfit what has several chains draped from multiple locations. "Go and kill it." A shrill voice echoed in his head. "Nah, its just a small fry, its be way to boring/ Besides, that girl seems like she can take care of things." He contiued to watch, waiting, hoping for something interesting to happen.
Gozen looked to the girl and looked back to the monster. The monster looked about 5 times her size, and so he called out to her, "Are you gonna fight that thing? and.. HOW ARE YOU FLYING?!" Gozen had just noticed this, and he felt kind of dumb about it.. He looked over to the monster, and it was staring right at him, ignoring everyone else. The monster made a grab for Gozen, and Gozen jumped out of the way just in time... (A bit short.. but oh well.)

She looked at the kid, Gozen, that asked her silly questions with a pleasant, but confused look, "I just am. I just do," she said enigmatically.
With her attention turned away the Hollow roared at Yumeji, and it forced her to shield herself form the halitosis, and spittle that flew at her with her sleeve, "Ugh, beastly breath! Brrr!"
Suddenly there was an extremely loud boom, and the Hollow went flying off it's feet as an energy made cloth appeared suddenly that whammed it in the face, then began to dissolve almost as fast as it appeared. It was obviously made by Yumeji, but how it happened happened at an insanely fast speed that it was unlikely anyone there could have followed what she did.
The hollow's victim was quickly snatched up from mid air as she went flying, then Yumeji say her on the roof of the building, "You stay here. I'll send you to your final reward soon." she grinned broadly, and reassuringly to the woman, then turned to look at the Hollow to see what it was going to do. She looked so cool! So determined! SO heroic!
Yumeji let out a tired breath, and sighed, "What a bother," her determined stare was replaced with a tired expression, then she sat down next to the spirit on the roof basically falling onto her butt.
"He sucks doesn't he, kid?" she looked over her shoulder at Satsu, the human that was obviously aware of the hollow. Her demeanor was like like someone watching TV, except this TV was a 9 ton gorilla.
If people were able to see, and wanted to interact, the roof seemed to be the place to be.
Yumeji just waited for the hollow to recover.

Satsu walked up to Yumeji smirking. "Pretty fast there, aren't ya." He said studing her. He looked over at the hollow, then the human, then the spirit, the back at Yumeji. "So, that attack, what exactly was it?" He asked curiously as he sat down next to her.
Gozen regained his senses and cleared his head. He looked around for a safer spot. He found a ladder that leads to the top of the building the girl and some other person was on. Gozen immediately clambered up the ladder to the top. when he got there, he asked simply, "Well it's obvious you're not human, so what exactly ARE you?" the question directed at Yumeji. Anyone near that could notice such things would immediately know that Gozen's spiritual pressure was beyond that of a human's limits, although not by a large amount.

"Oh, that?" she looked at Satsu seriously, then smiled mischievously, "My little seeecreeet!" she sang out at him, then looked at the spirit of the lady she saved from the hollow, "Us girls gotta have our secrets, right? Riiight!"
The lady looked quite confused at the Shinigami, but nodded slowly. "You know, while we've got time, how about I send you on your way, hm?"
"What? I don't understa-" she didn't even get out all her words before Yumeji pressed the pommel of her sword, which was still in it's scabbard, to her head. There was a blue glow, and the sprit vanished on it's way to the Soul Society.
"Maybe I'll catch up with her in the Soul Society. She seemed fun for the 5 seconds I knew her! Yay!" she chuckled, then turned her attention to Gozen with a slow, almost creepy turn of the head with wide, scary eyes. "Ooooh, what am I? I am a Shinigami!!! A death god! I reap the souls of the dead!" she maintained the stare at Gozen to see if he'd lose his nerve... for a bit...
Then she turned her attention to the hollow that was just now getting up.
"Scuzi," she said to the two boys, then stood up on thin air, then walked towards the hollow with her Zanpakuto in hand. Her Zanpakuto is a simple affair. Lacquered wood grain, brass caps, and a tiny, tiny hand guard. It looked like a pole.
But she paused mid way to turn to the other two, "Oh, how rude of me! Any of you wanna beat this hollow? I shouldn't go hogging all the combat, right?" She flashed a smile at the pair.

Satsu laughed at Yumeji's behaviour then shook his head. "Nah, its ok. Small fries like that bore me to no end." He said still slightly laughing. He turned to Gozen when he was done laughing. "Maybe she should have explained a little more." He said as the tone in his voice returned to a bored sound, the look in his eyes changed as well. "We send spirits to the soul society, and kill..." He turned to the hollow. "Those." He explained. "the key in all this is our swords, out Zanpakuto." Satsu felt no worry in explaining all this to a human, since if he tried to tell anyone else they would think he was insane.
Gozen heard what Satsu said, and he contemplated this for a moment. The word "Shinigami" rang a bell somewhere in the distance.. "So, basically, shinigami are like guides to this place called the soul society, which i assume is what we call Heaven, and they are also our protectors? Wow. talk about a busy job." Something was bothering Gozen, and it had to do with this place called soul society. He thought he had heard that somewhere before... Gozen asked, "Are you a soul reaper too?" Even though he looked calm and collected, He was actually stressing out. The thoughts came in Bits, Soul Society, That roar, it all seemed so familiar... His soul was stressing itself, trying to break through the wall that blocked his memories from surfacing. He finally couldnt hold it in anymore, and winced, as though in pain.
