With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
In the air a Senkaimon gate opened and through it stepped a shinigami. She was dressed in the traditional shinigami attire except her kosode was sleeveless. Her hair was flowing freely down her back. She descended to the ground gently and looked about. It wasn't often she came to the real world, let alone Karakura and so she always surveyed her surroundings. As she touched the ground the senkaimon gate above her closed. She leapt up onto the rooftops and began to walk along casually. She was hoping for some Hollow activity, but if she didn't find any it would just be nice to relax and contemplate on things.
She looked at her zanpakutoh, Ekishou, and wondered when she would gain access to some of his other abilities. Whilst in training with him in the spiritual realm he had shown use of several techniques that interested her. After her recent battle with Yukino her zanpakutoh spirit had stated that she would soon be ready to use more of his strength, but she wondered how soon was soon.

Hollow activity didn't require going far, it seemed, and it found her. A dark, ominous energy loomed nearby. It felt hollow like indeed, and it approached at a fast rate as if attracted by the light of the gate.
A blur of speed appeared in front of Seki and she was soon face to face with complete darkness until 2 dots of red light appeared as if they were eyes that opened... In fact that's exactly what it was. A big white smile made of triangular teeth appeared in the darkness, then ... "HIII!" boomed out in cheerful nature from between the smiling teeth, then Seki was hugged, apparently, "What'cha doin'?" After a moment Seki was let go of, and the hollow like ... thing stepped back, and swayed from side to side with some rapid bobbing, and her long arms swayed in front of her, "Whazzup?" she restated her greeting energetically, and stared at the Shinigami unafraid, and not apparently violent. More excited, and energetic.
Seki was slightly taken aback by this hollow? Was it a hollow? She wasn't sure. It seemed like a hollow and it had the mask, but it also seemed vaguely...human. This was extremly odd. Maybe it was an arrancar...no...they only had part of their mask not a full one like this. She decided it couldn't be a hollow or an arrancar. A hollow would of tried to attack to absorb her spiritual energy and an arrancar would of attacked because arrancar hate shinigami. It had to be something else. Something she hadn't seen or heard of before. She decided to answer its question.
"Nothing really." she replied in a freindly manner with a smile. "I'm just wandering about looking for something to do." She decided to ask the question. "Listen, I don't meant to be rude, but just what are you? You seem hollow, but you also seem different...and your not an arrancar." She hoped she wouldn't offend the thing. She was curious about it.

"I'm Nekoruru!" she stood upright with a proud stance, and put a paw to her chest as she introduced herself with a smile. "You are..." she hunched over, and then walked around the shinigami, and looked her over as she circled slowly as if she sought to see every detail of the woman. "Uhhh..." she seemed to be in the process of thinking of a name, or designation... trying to figure out something about the shinigami.
But in the end she stood in front of the Shinigami woman, and stared at her chest, ... ... "Booby lady!" she proclaimed a nickname with little intent on actually finding out her name.
"Sumfin ta do, ya say, Booby Lady? Wanna prowl? Or uhhh... Tag? We can talk... kinda nice talking... But you came for a reason din't'cha?" She asked interested in it, but fell backwards before she heard the answer, landed on her back, then started to roll on her back some, and she appeared to be happy at it.
Seki was slightly taken aback by this nickname. She knew she was gifted in the chest deparment, but booby lady? Seriously? "My name is Seki." she replied quietly though there was no anger to her voice because she was not angry. She would rather be called booby lady then her full name. "And I didn't really come for any reason." She shrugged. "Except to relax for a bit." She watched this thing curiously. She had intruduced herself as Nekoruru, but that still didn't explain quite what it was. It was too playful to be a hollow or arrancar. It was a very strange being. It had fallen over and seemed to be happy about it. She decided to analyse it further. "Tag sounds fun. I haven't played that since the academy." she said and she was being honest. It did sound like fun. Also she could test how fast this thing really was.
She vanished and appeared on a rooftop on the other side of the street. She gave a mock salute. "Your it. Catch me if you can." And with that she began to shunpo away expecting Nekoruru to follow.

It was questionable if the cat like being that rolled about in front of Seki listened to her as there was no indication of it as she seemed more content in her rolling, but she say up abruptly as she heard the magic words... "Nyan?" she looked at the Shinigami as she darted away. "Wheeee!!" she called out, then used shunpo after her, and surprisingly, caught up with the woman easily, "Oiy, where ya think yer goin' squire?" she said in a cockney accent in a playful manner, but she didn't try to tag back. "Can ya go faster, Booby lady??" she asked boldly, "Never gunna not get tagged back that way!" she said playfully as she ran behind the woman hunched over with her arms trailing behind her like wet noodles in a strong wind. She made "Hraa!" noises as she chomped her white teeth at the Seki's butt in a joking manner.
Damn, she's fastShe thought to herself as she used shunpo to change direction completely and sped up. She had caught up with her so easily. This was going to be a difficult game to win. Not that winning was important. This was just a test of speed and of character. Nekoruru seemed very childish in nature. She wondered if this was just a front in order to make her lower he guard or if it was how she normally acted. However, the most pressing question was just what was Nekoruru.
Ekishou was silent, which was normal and he wasn't offering any hints or other information, which was extremely normal. She continued to speed up till she was going almost her maximum speed. She was hoping to create some distance so she could slow down because going this speed was exhausting. She thought about perhaps using some kidou or her zanpakutoh in order to slow down Nekoruru in order to see her reaction to it, but decided to save tricks till later. She might need them if things came down to fighting.

"OoooOOOOOH! Faster! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" she sped up, too, and got more streamlined! She moved faster, and faster, and caught up more, and more! An insect smacked her in the face though "OW!" she threw her pawy mitted hands at her face, and covered it, then proceeded to trip as she threw herself off balance, then face planted onto a roof where she skidded to a stop on her face. "Grmph..." she kicked her legs as she found herself doing a full on face stand, but couldn't right herself immediately, and so she struggled, and pushed her hands to the ground, and managed to tip over onto her knees with a confused look on her face, "Owie..." she said in a neutral tone, then looked around with one mitted hand over her head as if to block the sun, though it wasn't in her way.
As she had glanced over her shoulder she had seen Nekoruru fall and her natural reaction was to turn back and offer help, but it could be a trick to help catch her. As she began to, obviously, look around for Seki she dropped down into an alley and stood there waiting. It would be interesting to find out if Nekoruru could find her. As she seemed hollowish in nature Seki deduced she could sense spiritual energy and so she began to relax and condense her spritiual energy to reduce the chance of it being detected.
It might not work, but even if Nekoruru leapt down on her she could shunpo back onto the rooftops. She was impressed at her speed and Ekishou even made a comment. That girl is fast. This... There was a hint of digust in his voice as he spoke the next word ...game could help you develop your shunpo to higher levels Seki nodded in agreement. This was pushing her to new limits, it was rather exhilrating.

The hiding spot in the alley didn't seem to last long as, suddenly, Nekoruru slide face first over the edge of the building, then forward flipped to drop feet first like a frikking ninja down at Saki. One could look up the parka easily, and see her red hot pants under it.
"FOUND YA BOOBY LADY!!" she shouted as she fell towards the ground, and then landed in front of her in a crouch, and not much else. No cracked cement, or anything but a soft noise of her feet as they hit the ground when she landed.
She looked up at the shinigami, "You smell like strawberries!" she said as if to tell how she found her, though the cat like woman had no nose to speak of, never mind anything else but a mouth, and 2 glowing red eyes for what passed for a face. It was questionable if she even had a head under her hood as the blackness obscured everything else.
Nekoruru then stood up, "You're good at hiding for someone slow!" she swayed from side to side a little as she spoke through chomping teeth that seemed to have no lips. "Hehehehehee! Am I still it?" she asked as if she didn't know, but she was still really happy. She hadn't tagged Seki, though, so the answer was obvious for anyone that knew the game.
