Skill Level: Swordsmanship: Beginner
Skill Level: Speed and Agility: Intermediate
Skill Level: Hand-to-hand: Beginner
History/Background:
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Personality:
Akaharu's a loner, tending to keep to herself in all circumstances. Akaharu doesn't particuarly like anyone, nor does she trust anyone. She'd much rather have her nose stuck in a book than she would talk to a person.Appearance:
She's smart, having an IQ of 180, and she knows it full well. She learns quickly, and it's probably for the best. Unfortunately, she has trouble accepting when she's wrong. Rather, she can't stand to be wrong. In an argument, she will simply change the subject as subtly as possible if she finds that she was wrong about something.
The only thing she hates worse than being wrong, is being called 'stupid.' She can't stand it, at all. She's prone to fits of rage, although she never seems to cry. Even though she probably has good reason to.
She's a little wild... Ok a LOT wild. She doesn't like being told what to do, which drives a lot of people insane. She does, occasionally, deliberately disobey an instruction. She acts out a lot, she gets in trouble a lot. Akaharu can get people fired up, and ready to hit her over the head just by talking to someone she doesn't like!
She spends a vast majority of her time on her laptop, coding, creating viruses only to destroy them. She's a hacker at heart, and at mind. She gets extremely caught up in her hacking, rarely stopping to look around and look at anyone around her.
Akaharu is of average hight, standing at five feet tall, although she's underweight, weighing in at 86 lbs. Thus, she is quite skinny. She tends to wear baggy clothes, aside from when she has to wear her school uniform. She has very short black hair that fans out in small tufts, creating the image that she is what she is: A tomboy. Her eyes are a violet-black kind of hue, being the one part of her that stands out above all else.Origin of Power:
She constantly carries a laptop around with her. The laptop is one of the small, pocket notebooks that you can carry around in a small bag without a hitch. Its frame is simple and black, the keys are a simple silver. You can almost always see her on a bench or something, typing off the thing.
Akaharu just happened to live in Karakura, where reiatsu is almost constantly pouring out of the place. She soaked up some of that, which gave her the ability to see ghosts. Later, although, not much later, she found that she had her powers.Special Abilities:
Genuis - Well, 140 is genuis IQ, Akaharu's is 180. She's smart. That's all there is to it. She reads, or hacks into computers, as opposed to talking to people, and thus she has an extensive knowlege of a lot of random stuff. For example: Foreign cultures.Powers First Stage:
Technologically gifted - Akaharu is a hacker. She spends a lot of her time screwing around with her computer, updating it herself, creating her own software, hardware, you name it, she's probably done it. The only real way to counter a hacker, Akaharu says, is to be a hacker. She's got the memory for the codes and numbers to use them, and she's got the calculator brain to check them.
Telekinisis:Powers Second Stage:
Akaharu can move objects up to twice her size by picturing the objects moving. A very thin, nearly invisible (but still detectable) web will form around a given object and it will move. She can move things up to seventy-five feet away from herself, before it slowly drops to the ground. Or quickly, depending on how close to her limit she is. If an object is exactly twice Akaharu's size, and it goes to the edge of her range, she can't use it.
A Sonar of Sorts:
By releasing a slight pulse of reiatsu from her hand, Akaharu can create a small ring of reiatsu that can help her locate objects if for some reason she can't see. The ring has a maximum of a fifty foot diameter.

History/Background:
Akaharu wasn't born in Karakura. Instead, she was born in Tokyo, which wasn't exactly something that suited her interests. Growing up in such a noisy and crowded city made Akaharu learn to loathe big cities. So she was quite releived when she found that she was going to be sent to live with her aunt and her uncle, since her parents... Well, her family was rather dysfunctional. She never really made a point of attempting to make friends, because after watching the news a few times she was completely convinced that people were all jerks and scumbags and there was no reason to grow close to anyone. Eventually she realized that that was not entirely true, but not before she heard some rather shocking and heartbreaking news: Her parents had both died in a car accident. Not that she knew them well enough to cry over it. She was seven at the time.RP Sample:
Meanwhile, despite skipping one grade, and despite her vast intelligence, Akaharu's grades remained low. It could easily be inferred that the girl was bored with her work, and indeed she was.
Instead of enjoying whatever her school could attempt to reteach her, Akaharu was thrilled with computers and the study of computers. Codes, numbers, hacking, programming... It all appealed to her more so than latin roots or what the meaning of what an economic downturn was. She already knew, and she didn't really care. So while her grades were mediocre, her work could show some spectacular insights.
And yet, Akaharu never did. She prefered the virtual world composed of numbers and mathematical equations well over anything that other humans could offer through interaction. Why bother? When it was so much more entertaining to hack into systems just to see if she could? It just didn't compare. So Akaharu was not only a loner, but she was also an outcast.
She discovered her powers through coincedence, touching a broken computer moniter and feeling the internal structure, she wondered if she could fix it. She started to picture the burnt-out wire reconnecting with its other half, and just like that it did. She was thirteen at the time.
More recently, Akaharu has begun to occassionally interact with those she meets. Although her interactions have proven to be short and unpleasant, even awkward for all involved, they occured nonetheless. For some reason, the girl managed to make everyone she spoke to despise her. She only wrote it off as a flaw in human nature, and a reason why she prefers computers.
"But I didn't DO anything!" Akaharu whined.
"How can you call this not doing anything? You hacked into someone's computer!" Akaharu's uncle, Saito, exclaimed.
"I didn't do any damage! I just looked around a little bit! That's all! Besides, the guy was making a virus. He had it coming," Akaharu said in defense. Not that it really worked, she was about as innocent as a cat with its head crammed into a glass fishbowl.
"I don't wanna hear it. Why don't you just go outside, hm?" Saito asked. Well, Akaharu couldn't say she didn't try.
Her laptop confiscated and her most recent attempt at editing some software deleted, Akaharu had to figure something out. Holding nothing but a clenched fist, Akaharu walked down the street in a huff. This was the second time she'd ever been caught hacking, and the fact that her relatives didn't really care too much about Akaharu as long as she wasn't arrested... Well, it helped enormously.
Walking down the street, she reflected on all sorts of things, such as her parent's death. Akaharu walked in the center of the street, although this one section of town was always so empty that it didn't really matter. If she heard the humming of an engine, she would move. That was all there was to it.
