Name: Orochi Saito (Family name, First name)
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Personality:
Skill Level: Swordsmanship: Beginner
Skill Level: Speed and Agility: Intermediate
Skill Level: Hand-to-hand: Advanced
History/Background:
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Personality:
Much like his neice, Saito is very intelligent, having an IQ of just over 130. While he is nowhere near as smart as his neice, Saito is still well above the average mark. He has a gifted mind, and is very insightful.Appearance:
Despite this, his people skills leave a lot to be desired; he has a habit of wording things in the wrong way, sending negative messages. Sometimes he can be too honest, and he puts many things very bluntly.
He gets into arguments a lot, and, due to his profession, he has developed a habit of stepping away from any topics that may jepardize his case. While he mostly does this as a professional, he also has a bad habit of subtly changing the subject when he knows he's wrong in a conversation too.
Despite his seemingly blunt personality, Saito cares deeply for his friends and family. Despite the fact that he gets on their nerves, and vice versa. While he gets annoyed easily, he's good at hiding it. then there's what else he's not so good at showing: Caring. Hardly anyone he knows really can see that he cares about them.
One of the rarest things from Saito are his laughs, and his moments of fear or surprise, and his sarcasm. Those seldom come, and when they do, it can usually be like a timebomb. It doesn't happen for a while, but when it does, it's major. It's the same way with his anger.
The things that make Saito angry? People who mess with his stuff without telling him, people who mess with his family and friends (in his mind, not their's), and people who ignore his thoughts. And sarcastic hackers.
Saito has dark gray hair, cut cleanly so it just barely parts at the center of his forehead. One can easily tell by looking at Saito's gray hairs that he is either old, has a teenager in the house, or is flat broke. Or all three. Or just the first two. Actually, they would be speculating and yet correct.Origin of Power:
His eyes are a steely sort of violet, looking very serious. They are very narrow, and dulled out. Until someone can either bring on the rare occasion of laughter, or actually surprise/scare Saito, they remain narrow and empty. Once he has been scared, startled, or began to laugh, they usually look like plates.
He stands at six foot two, making him a fairly tall man, and has an average build. He weighs at roughly 160 lbs, not being particuarly thin, but not overweight either. As for attire, he tends to lean towards semiformal and formal clothes.
Saito lived in Karakura nearly his entire life, and he just so happened to soak up some reiatsu while living there. He had been able to see ghosts since four months after moving to Karakura, and had been able to use his powers since two years in the town.Special Abilities:
Saito is smarter than average, and can think clearly under pressure. Besides that, he also retained some of his boxing skills from when he was younger. Although, he doesn't exactly practice on a regular basis, so his ability with the sport faded away.Powers First Stage:
Saito can create a sheild of reiatsu from the palms of his hands that can deflect attacks that are signifigantly weaker than the strength of the sheild, and slow down attacks of the same strength, shattering afterwards. He can mantain a sheild for four seconds, and can only create five total (Every other turn). If the sheild breaks he cannot form another one. The sheild is a very dull white, and is roughly the same size as Saito, being an oblong shape. He must remain stationary to hold up his sheild. Trying to use the sheild past his limit can cause the flesh on his hands to tear up.Powers Second Stage:
Saito can create a sheild of reiatsu from the palms of his hands that can deflect attacks that are weaker than the strength of the sheild, and block attacks of the same strength. He can mantain a sheild for five seconds, and can create six total (every other turn). Beyond that, he can try, it just won't work. The sheild is a very dull white, and has a diameter of seven feet. Unlike the first stage, it is a perfect circle. He must remain stationary to hold up his sheild.Skill Level: Special Items: Beginner
In this stage, Saito can also create much smaller sheilds from his knuckles about six inches in diameter that are used to strengthen punches. These have similar limitations to the sheild before, the difference being he can create a total of twelve, minus two for every larger sheild he made. They break after contact with ANYTHING. Overusing this can cause Saito's hands to tear up, or cause his bones to become brittle if he attempts to use them past his limit.

History/Background:
Born and raised on the outskirts of town, the younger brother of Orochi Kaimaru, Saito felt like a shadow. Why wouldn't he? His brother was a child prodigy and he was mostly ignored, until he got into trouble. So you can imagine how that would stir up familial tension, mostly between him and his brother.RP Sample:
Envious of his brother, Saito was always trying to find the one thing that he could best Kaimaru in. He loathed his brother. He wanted to beat him. The only thing he could think of, were sports, and so when he was thirteen, he began boxing. He wasn't particuarly talented in it, but he did learn something about persistance. He also learned about keeping a level head. So while his skills in the sport were rather lacking, he was maturing in a different way.
He was growing in intelligence, and had decided that even if he didn't beat Kaimaru at everything, he could still win sometimes. Of course, he would hold those occasions over his brother's head for ages. Almost all of them were sports related. Until Saito took an interest in law. Once Saito decided that he wanted to take a walk down the path to ending up being a boring man and a lawyer. Well, except for the boring man part. That was unintentional.
The problem with Saito was his poor choice in friends. While he would gladly make sacrifices for them, not all of them felt the same way about him. He had a habit of saying things he didn't mean. Well, he meant them, he just didn't mean to say them so bluntly. The only friend he ever kept for over a decade was his wife.
Unfortunately, his brother grew up to be a rather neglectful parent, and actually sent his daughter to live with Saito. And much to Saito's dismay, she was in to computers; she was in to hacking. Akaharu entered Saito's life, and everything turned upside-down. How was Saito supposed to know that one seven-year-old girl could cause so much damage?
Not to mention that five years after she moved in, Saito's wife, Akane, passed away. Saito found himself alone with his brother's screwed up kid, and he sure as hell wasn't thrilled about it. His brother dead, his sister-in-law dead, and Akane too, Saito found himself stuck with his powers, and his screwed-up neice.
"I can give you ten reasons why this is a bad idea!" Saito exclaimed into the phone he left in the car. It was on speaker, and he was practically yelling into it. "One! She takes after my brother. You've seen what the moron's done with his life! I'm shocked he hasn't gotten arrested or killed!"
Saito took every ounce of control he had to keep from slamming on either the brakes or the gas at every stoplight. He didn't seem like he cared that Akaharu was in the car with him, he was just mad. As the voice on the phone poured out more of her own argument, Saito sighed and shook his head.
"No she is not! You've heard it from Kaimaru, you've heard it from me! She's going to be arrested, and when she is, I sure as hell am not helping her. Kaimaru needs to learn to take care of his own problems, and his own goddam family," Saito said with a frown as he made the left turn.
"I'm sorry, aren't you part of my family too Oji-san?" Akaharu interupted loud enough for the phone to pick up her voice. She yawned. Flying was so exhausting.
The voice on the phone let out a giggle.
"That's not funny Akaharu," Saito said, drowning out the giggles.
"Well, it's true. You're the brother of my father, and so that makes you family. Sad as it is... Besides, before you go into your fit, you might as well consider the fact that someone like me in Tokyo isn't a good idea. Not that I wanted to move, but at least it's quieter out here." Another yawn followed the words.
"Yes Akane, I am blessed with the joy of relatives! They're such wonderful people!" Saito yelled sarcastically as he pulled into the driveway. This was going to be a long next few years.
