General Information
--------------------
Name: Mak’ur Ch’ari
Actual Age: 654
Appearing Age: 65
Gender: Male
Race: Adjuchas
Rank: Numeros
Number: 72
Appearance
Mak'ur is old. As in, extremely old. His age has definitely shown in his face. It is overbearingly covered in wrinkles, and every single one of his hairs is now nigh on white in colour, falling down to his neck. He has the skin on his face covered with spots and bruises, and the skin around his neck is almost gone - it was burned away in an incident on the Human World. It is als one of his weakspots - and even a single touch sends waves of pain and pleasure coursing throughout his entire body.
The way he dresses is similar to that of the American Indians of late, though he holds no heritage or blood from those peoples. His usual style of dress is an off-white, almost cream coloured robe, with patterned bands around the tops of the sleeves, and a similarily-patterned headband around his forehead. Underneath this he wears the familiar Arrancar uniform, but he doesn't like it much - which is why he chooses to hide it.
If you were to remove this uniform, you would reveal a muscular, well-toned body. His torso and legs are covered in a myriad of unhealed scars, not unlike Yamamoto, but with more of them, and they seem to be larger than you'd imagine battlescars to be.
His Hollow hole is placed on his left shoulder, and his mask fragment is a piece of a helmet, it appears..
Personality
Mak'ur acts like he's seen it all, done it all and won't be able to do much else afterwards. That's because he has, has, and won't. He's grouchy to most, and shut-in to those "close" to him, preferring to keep the rabble away from his face, and avoid most human contact. He acts high-and-mighty, but not like a king... More like a nobleman, or someone who's status precedes their actual rank.
He is evil, simply for the sake of being evil. He is sadistic and cruel, and the sort of person who would take candy from a baby for the kicks, or pushing a puppy off a building for the simple pleasure of doing so. That said, he'll usually let his opponents live for as long as he can get them to, with the one intention of making sure that their kept life comes with a price - they get more pain, and he gets more pleasure.
While he is a sadist, he is more of a masochist, the biggest pleasures in his life coming from pin and wounds - he'll try to take hits for the sake of feeling the 'pleasure' known as pain. Screams of terror and pain are his Ambrosia, his "Food of the Gods", and the feeling of a sword cutting through his skin is almost poetic to his heart.
He wants to die. His one goal in life is his own death, but a death that can be seen as most painful. That's why he won't throw his life away, he'll make sure that he can get as much time to be injured, and to injure the others before he falls. If the death doesn't seem like it's worthy of his life being lost to it, he'll try his hardest to avoid dying in that way.
He has no interest in women, or in the carnal pleasures of the flesh - in fact, he's quite sexist. Though he'll allow it, he isn't a follower of this whole 'women in power' business, and will expressly avoid giving women tasks of importance, tasks that he feels are "better suited for a man".
History
Life as a Human
Mak'ur was born to a pair of wealthy parents in the area known today as Okinawa, in Japan. He was given anything that a child could want, but at a price. His parents drummed one thing into his head - the outside world is a dangerous place that was to be avoided. So for the first four years of his life, Mak'ur lived in solitude, with anything he could want, except for contact with the outside.
Of course, this lead him to become rather... curious about what exactly was out there. And so, Mak'ur Ch'ari snuck out of his house, and went into the outside world. WIthin thirty seconds, he stubbed his toe on a stone. Yet the pain... the pain that he felt was new and intriguing to this boy who had never experienced pain or illness. In fact, this newfound feeling could only be known as one thing... A word that this boy had yet to learn. Ecstasy. Pure and truthful ecstasy. And Mak'ur wanted more.
So he began to do that thing. He started to hurt himself, and hurt himself with anything he could find. Knives, sticks, even a little piece of stone that he found on the ground, all of it was used in some way to hurt himself. He never really understood what his parents were saying, he could only understand fragments, such as "Masochist..." or... "Death..." and he wasn't sure why.
His parents intended on fixing him, though. Which lead them to physically tying up their own child in the basement, away from anythign he could hurt himself with. They fed him daily, and taught him words and actions - and tried to teach him not to injure himself like that.
However, Mak'ur discovered a new pain. He simply... stopped eating. The pain he got from his own hunger was like nothing he'd ever known, and he revelled in it until the day he died. Mak'ur Ch'ari died of starvation at 12 years old, an entire eight years of being tied up in his parent's basement.
Life as a Soul
Life as a Soul was utter HELL for Mak'ur. He hated it. He couldn't feel pain, and above all, there was this one little thing that really got to him. A place known as Soul Society... somewhere where the dead lived in peace? It didn't seem good to him. Not. At. All.
The solution was simple - he was to avoid the Shinigami, and find a way to feel pain again. Easier said than done, of course, until he found out about the Hollow. Apparently, there was this race of former human souls... Ones that were bound to this earth, and consumed other souls.
He suddenly knew what it was he wanted. He wanted to become a Hollow. And so he spent 5 years trying and failing to be eaten. Whenever he got close enough, a Shinigami came and killed the creature, forcing Mak'ur to shrink back into the shadows and make sure he wasn't discovered. This constant hiding started to grow inside him as resentment for the Shinigami, and his hate slowly grew.
And, of course, his wish was finally granted - with the advent of his newfound Hollowfication. In fact, the irony was that he wasn't looking for a Hollow at that point in time, it was completely by accident - the Hollow swooped in and attacked him, defeating him with ease. The feeling of being eaten brought back feelings of pain that Mak'ur hadn't felt for five whole years... And the last sound to be heard from his human mouth was that of pure, unbridled pleasure.
Life as a Hollow
As a Hollow, Mak'ur's life changed for the better. No only was he able to feel and revel in pain again, a new facet to his personality exposed itself. Ecstasy through the pain of others. Killing his prey didn't just become a way of life, it became a game - and every kill he made was as slow and painful as he could make it...
He toyed with his prey, and made sure that they felt as much pain as they could before they died. But it wasn't enough. He could make them hurt, it eventually became boring. Killing and eating the souls of humans didn't satisfy him - not like it used to. But he found himself a new type of prey, and Hollows fell to his attacks as often as humans.
Of course, when a Hollow eats enough other Hollows, they change. And sure enough, he became a Gillian. And yet he still ate. And became Adjuchas. Not much going on there, really. And so, Mak'ur became an Arrancar at the ripe old age of 552.
His mask removal was painful - just the way he liked it. He found out about the Arrancar, and decided that it was the best thing for him to do. In fact, the entire idea of removing his mask was on his mind, but he never figured out exactly how to do it. Until he caught it on a rock. Yes, he caught it on a rock - and was unable to free himself. In fact, it took all his strength to free himself, and when he was finally free his mask was in pieces on the ground behind him. He never even knew it'd disappeared, in a sudden moment of absent-mindedness.
Life as an Arrancar
His transformation into an Arrancar was due to natural causes, and he never really did much else in that respect. He was eventually brought to the attention of the Espada, and numbered due to his age. That's about it, and he can't remember any good parts of his life, not any worth telling, at least.
Wait, no, there was this one thing... Not too much, just the mass murder of an entire village of humans. Nothing too radical. He walked calmly in there, and calmly left 5 minutes later. The result of his actions, however, was a blood-covered village. Arms and legs were strewn everywhere, and to be honest, it was gruesome. Yet the mystery was never solved...
Then again, another incident occurred with Mak'ur and a few other Arrancar. They were in the Human World, battling an equally-sized group of Shingami, when Mak'ur was locked into battle with a fire-based zanpakuto. Mak'ur fought to the best of his abilities, but the Shinigami managed to set his throat on fire. The feeling that he had was the best he'd ever felt, and he was enjoying it so much... It took all his allies to knock him down and put out the flames. Unfortunately, the skin has never healed completely, and is still scarred as a reminder today.
Throughout his time as an Arrancar, Mak'ur has heard stories. He has heard countless tales of the exploits of one Szayel Aporro Granz, and the victims that he had most sadistically defeated. In fact, it is his "dream", if you can call it that, to become one of Szayel's fraccion, so he can share in the delights of pain and pleasure. In fact, it has become his dream to almost be like Szayel himself. This is what drives him to gain power... That, and nothing else in the world...

Arrancar Abilities

Tres Cero (Three-Zero)
- Description of Attack - A modification on the usual type of Cero, it involves Mak'ur charging up a Cero in his mouth, and one on each palm. He then can either fire these off as a single, merged attack in one direction, or three attacks in three directions. It takes one post to use, and two post cooldown.
Each Cero is a different hue of red, and when fired as one, they spiral around each other. It can affect all tier levels, but when fired at something four or more tiers above Mak'ur, the resulting attack will feel like a simple pinprick, even when three become one.- Type - Cero
- Range - 15 metres maximum.
- Limitation -
- It still takes time to charge, and can be interrupted by pain.
- If fired as three, the Ceros are only one-third as powerful as a normal Cero each.
Invertir Aluvión (Reverse Flurry)
- Description of Attack - This is a complex set of movements, requiring a careful balance of Sonido and Hand-to-Hand Combat. It involves Mak'ur moving around the target at a high rate of speed, Sonidoing and appearing around them at random points, hitting them once with his right fist, and moving around them once more - repeating the action about 10 times before stopping. It goes for one post of the target's, and is only useable once per thread.
Because the attack is purely physical, and does not involve Mak'ur's zanpakuto, anything three or more tiers above Mak'ur will feel the effects as if it was simply somebody hitting them with a fly-swatter, and anything six or more above won't even notice his presence, let alone gain any injuries from this attack.- Type - Melee
- Range - One Target
- Limitation -
- If the target is able to determine the next appearance of Mak'ur and hits him, or they react fast enough to be able to hit him before he moves again, he is then stunned slightly, and therefore cannot use any abilities involving energy during that post. (Cero, Bala, etc)
- The attack only covers one target, so if it is used in a group and Mak'ur is interrupted, then the same as before happens, and Mak'ur is stunned for one post.
- As stated in the description, this ability requires a careful balance of Sonido and Hand-to-Hand Combat skills. If Mak'ur is distracted, and said balance falls out of kilter, he cannot finish using this ability, and will stumble. It is not a stun, but it reduces any damage done to the opponent to whatever Mak'ur had performed before that incident, and leaves him unable to use the ability.

Zanpakutō
--------------------
Name: Mano de la Muerte
Translation - Death's Hand
Call Out Phrase: Compartir mi dolor
Translation - Share my pain
Appearance
Mano de la Muerte is a wakizashi, if slightly shorter than the usual version. It reaches a length of about 32 centimetres, and weighs approximately 675 grams. It is exceptionally ornate and decorative, with gold thread making the shape of a dragon on the hilt, a gold-and-red tsuka in the shape of a cross with wings coming off the sides, and the blade is a very shiny silver, silvery enough to see your reflection without distortion, and covered in a material that stops blood from sticking to it.
--------------------
Resurrección
--------------------
Appearance
At the call-out of his release phrase, Makur raises his zanpakuto up int the air, and starts to focus his Reiatsu into it. As soon as it reches the tip, it spreads out and covers Mak'ur's body, folding over it in a layer of black, and then turning transparent. The mask fragment grows around his face, and covers everything but his eyes.
Other than that, no apparent changes can be seen - there is a strange pulse of Reiatsu being emitted from the helmet, however. Basically, it appears simply as if a helmet has grown onto his face. His resurreccion does not appear as his original Hollow form for one reason. It allows him to feel more pain from attacks.
He carries his zanpakuto exactly the same as if he wasn't in resurreccion, with the exact same appearance.
Abilities
Devolver el favor (Returning the Favour)
- Description of Attack - This is a passive ability of Mak'ur's. When he first enters his resureccion form, he begins to emit a constant stream of Reiatsu in a circular patter, at a radius of 2 metres from his body. This reiatsu is totally invisible to the naked eye, but easily sensed by anybody who is near. Once in the field of the Reiatsu, if Mak'ur is cut by an opponent, that opponent will fell pain in the exact same place. They are not injured, they are not hurt, they just feel pain.
If Mak'ur injures an opponent, the inverse happens, and Mak'ur feels the same pain that they felt. Again, it is not an injury, just pain.
Now, if Mak'ur kills his target... Nothing will happen. He will feel no pain, and he will not be affected by it. This is because death, as a result, is painless. And all that this ability does is channel pain between two people. If the opponent hurts themselves, Mak'ur also feels no pain from it, just as if Mak'ur was to injure himself. This is also because the pain transfer is brought about from the injuring of another, not oneself.
This drains 2% of his Reiatsu per second, and dies out after about 10 IC Posts, ending the ability and sending Mak'ur back to his normal form.- Type - Passive
- Range - 2 meters
- Limitation -
- If the target is out of Mak'ur's reiatsu pulse, the ability has no effect on them, or on Mak'ur.
- Energy-based attacks (Cero, Kido, etc.) are unable to be reverted back as pain, as the energy is no longer in proper contact with the user.

"Kekeke..."
Ah, it appeared that the mice had come out to play... Mak'ur Ch'ari grinned at the festivities, as a large group of idiots fought over something as small as a box of food. Ah, it was the way of the world, of coure. The rich got richer, and the poor got dead. His grin suddenly turned evil, and he stood up, staring over the group.
"People, people, people, you're doing it wrong." A few of the group turned and stared at him, blank looks on their faces. He grinned - they were listening to his every word. "Why are you letting the others live? I mean, if it's for the food, why not kill the rest and have it to yourselves?" They looked around each other, and a few of them started to shout.
"Yeah! Why should we have to starve?"
"We should kill them... Then we can eat more!"
"I heard that humans tasted good barbecued...
At that, the fighting really started. Blood flew eveywhere, body parts hitting earth left, right and center. And Mak'ur was just sitting there, watching. Laughing. FEASTING....
