A poem I wrote about Christmas for a party in my English class:
It’s a wonderful time of year, We all know this to be true; We get two weeks off of school So I don’t have to see you!
It’s a wonderful time of year, If you’re not broke like me, But don’t you fear, Because soon you will be!
It’s a wonderful time of year, You get to see your family, But watch out for your older brother Who is now imbibing gravy!
It’s a wonderful time of year, ‘tis the season, ho ho ho, Until it comes to shoveling snow; It turns into, “No, no, no!”
It’s a wonderful time of year, We all know this to be true, Except I don’t celebrate Christmas; I’m actually a Jew.
Happy Winter everybody!
