Ken is pretty trusting toward those he knows and likes to give strangers the benefit of the doubt. He knows this is dangerous because someone could trick him into doing something, but he has been like this for as long as he can remember so it's hard to change now.

Ken tries to be the optimistic, bright side and comic relief guy. He'll tend to dwell on the bright side until he has no choice but to get serious(like when a fight gets tough). Until then he'll kid around with his friends and people he knows won't kill, maim or death glare him.

Ken likes a good fight but not as much as the 11th company(*Correct me if I'm wrong*), but he likes them nonetheless, especially if he finds it interesting enough to get serious.

Appearance:

Ken is a semi-thin guy standing at about 6'0"/6'1". He's slightly tanned with hazel eyes and black hair that reaches a few inches above his shoulders. He tends to change his hair style daily while inside the Seireitei, this can be anything from a goofy look to spikes to anything else he can think of, but outside its walls he lets it stay in it's natural state.

He normally wears the normal uniform with Daisuke at his waist. Wire framed glasses sit on his face, annoying him when they slide down his nose. He normally has a smile on his face(NOT Gin like at ALL! -Shivers-), and occasionally a mischievous look when he's preparing a prank. But in a fight these content features slip into a serious gaze, especially if he feels it's tough.

Zanpakuto Spirit:

Daisuke

Personality: Daisuke's name is ironic since he is in no way, shape or form a 'Great Helper'. Daisuke tends to be cryptic with important information, speaking in riddles and always locking the answer within his temple. He is almost the only person who get's on Ken's nerves, he gave Ken his second nickname of Kenny, and only because he knows it annoys Ken. And to make things worse, Daisuke always appears before Ken and of course no one else can see him so it appears as if Ken's talking to himself(to make it clearer; Daisuke appears in Ken's minds eye seeing/hearing all Ken does).

Daisuke also likes to scold Ken, something that annoys him even more. Ken will hear Daisuke's mischievous voice say something like "Now, now" or "Tut-tut," followed by some B.S. reason as to why something he did wasn't smart, reasonable or whatever.

Appearance: Daisuke has the looks to match his personality, he is a Yellow two tailed fox(*Believe this is Japanese Mythology*) that is about dog sized, his eyes are a golden yellow, his paws and the tips of his tails are colored black. His tails are bushy and his fur is shaggy. His head is shaped like a rounded triangle, his ears are also like triangles with the top half being black. Daisuke's eyes are normally half closed appearing like half ovals with half of his bright irises showing. His teeth resemble the serrated edge of a sword, perhaps even sharper, and are a pearly white.

Inner World: The inner world has an inside and an outside to it. On the outside there is a Koi pond next to a meditation courtyard, there is a hill where a Cherry blossom tree sits, the scent of the blossom's drifts through the air, while the blossoms themselves float with the breeze. A temple sits to the left of the hill, it has a traditional style with a yellow roof and black walls.

On the inside there is a large room with black mats to sit on. The door on the left leads to Daisuke's room, while the hall on the right leads to many rooms, some of which are sealed with riddles scribbled on them. These riddles, when solved, will either grant Ken a new ability or give him an answer he was searching for. But some of the riddles are illegible, probably because Daisuke thinks Ken can't handle it. Some of the rooms are unsealed, these rooms contain challenges for Ken to train with, numbers on these doors show the difficulty.

Sealed Zanpakuto:

In its sealed form, Ken's Zanpakuto is a Wakizashi. Overall it is 26 1/2" long, the blade is 19 1/2" long and the handle is 5 3/4" long. The blade is black and white like most Zonpakuto, the handle is black with golden twin two tailed foxes on either side, the tails meet each other in between each side.

In Sukaisupuritta form Daisuke turns into a Katana slightly larger then normal. Two fox tails sprout from the end of the handle, they are gray with black tips. The whole thing is probably five feet long and a foot wide, the cutting edge is serrated to represent fox teeth.

This ability does not need its name called to activate.

Sukaisupuritta has a secondary ability to weakly shock those it strikes while charged. At first this isn't really that much stronger then the shock received from a charged car or person. But once it reaches 20-25% its strength increases to a shock received from a highly charged items, enough to make someone recoil.

This does not start until it is 5-7% charged and stops whenever the charge drops below 5%. It maxes out at 25%, this is its strongest shock. Storing energy can be achieved by striking opponent(25 strikes = 5%). Once the attack is active energy is constantly being drained, so unless Sukaisupuritta keeps hitting its opponent the power fade until it strikes an opponent again(loss rate: 1% per minute). One can tell when it is charging because the tails turn from gray to yellow, starting from the end of the handle to the black end of the tail. One tail is equal to 50% of its full power.

This attack sends the blade flying at the opponent charged with electricity. If it hits it should stun the opponent for a few seconds allowing Ken to retract the blade and Shunpou closer for another strike. A chain that is also charged keeps the blade and handle bonded, it is approximately 50 feet in length

This attack is fairly easy to dodge if fired from long range and while facing opponent head on. This attack needs for Sukaisupuritta's tails to be at least 25% charged if not it fails, higher and it does more damage. Storing energy can be achieved by striking opponent(50 strikes = 10%) or by giving the Zanpakuto Reiatsu(takes a lot of focus, about 30 minutes of standing still and giving the sword Reiatsu). Once it is shot the sword loses the amount of power used(if used at 25% power it losed 25% power).

"Hogo Daisuke Sukaisupuritta"

This attack uses 15% charged energy and 10% Reiatsu to create a dome like shield over Ken and anyone/thing near him up to three feet.

The only bad part is that if Sukaisupuritta isn't charged enough and/or Ken is too weak it becomes nothing more then an egg shell or just doesn't activate. The shield is also limited to two - three feet from Ken. If Ken is strong enough to activate the shield, but too weak to have it at three feet ten it shrinks to one foot, but this only works if Ken allows it, it not it'll slowly start fail(countdown to failure: 5 minutes i left alone, 2 minutes and 50 seconds if attacked by someone with equal Reiatsu and 30 seconds if someone stronger). The shield can handle a variety of hand-to-hand combat strikes, normal Zanpakuto strikes and some spiritual-based attacks. If blasts are on an equal or less tier level then Ken his shield can take the blow, however it doesn’t bounce the blast back it’s more like the blast smashes into the shield draining it by the amount of power put into the blast. If the attack comes from someone on a higher tier level then Ken the shield might crack or be destroyed completely, this depends on the power behind the attack. The shield can take most of the attack, though it ill shatter afterwards, if the shield is at full strength. Of course this still depends on strength, someone more powerful then Ken could easily get a blast to breach the shield. This would only work with attacks stronger then he shield can take.

History/Background:

Ken was born to a lower middle class family, originally they lived with everyone else in town but they thought it was too crowded so they moved to the mountains to enjoy a quiet life. Once there they lived in a small three room house the rooms were; the living room, kitchen and the parents room, Ken slept in the living room. The family lived like this, they went to the town for supplies. Ken would go down to play with everyone else when his parents didn't need his help. Other times he stayed on the mountain and explored the surrounding areas.

As a child Ken was a bit disconnected since he lived so far from everyone. And since he didn't really know about tricksters he became overly trusting. Of course some time after he spoke to someone about where he lived his house was ransacked, nothing was stolen since they had nothing but it was still scary to come home and find it like that. So after this happened Ken toned back his trusting-ness in an attempt to not allow this to happen again. A few years later, during Ken's childhood, an extension was added to the house giving Ken his own room and making the other rooms slightly larger.

Jumping ahead a few years Ken, now in his teens, has mapped out the mountain surrounding his house. A few miles away there is a cave where Ken and his friends hangout, a few of the older kids were talking about applying for Shinou Academy but were unsure if they should. Ken wasn't really thinking about this until he noticed he could sort of 'sense' the Shinigami within the Seireitei, but then he ignored this ability for a while. When the older kids left for the entrance exam Ken noticed some of his friends were sad, probably because they were like siblings to each other so Ken decided to to cheer them up, first with crazy hair styles then with pranks they couldn't help but laugh at. Of course it was depressing when they returned having failed the exams due to low Reiatsu so Ken continued to play pranks and wear crazy hair styles.

Three years later, while Ken was in town, someone or something set fire to the house. Ken noticed the smoke and ran to his parents aid, but he didn't make it in time. The house was nothing but burning ashes, his parents were nowhere to be found and presumed dead. After markers were placed on their resting places Ken resolved to join the Shinou Academy and protect others in their names, so when the time came he went to the Seireitei and passed it, though apparently his Reiatsu was "Just barely worth passing," but Ken was just happy he had the chance to become a Shinigami and protect the living. He liked practicing Kido, Shunpou and Zanjutsu but really, really failed at Hand-to-hand combat, it seemed without his Zanpakuto and Kido he would be dead, but Ken was sure he didn't need advanced hand-to-hand skills to kill a hollow and didn't see the point in learning it. This was the first time he heard a mischievous voice speak in the back of his mind; "Tsk, tsk Kenny. It's good to be well rounded." After it spoke it faded leaving one very surprised Ken to think about what it said.

After this the voice pestered Ken(ney) a lot until... well it's still a common occurrence. But he soon graduated the academy and, for the week after that Ken had strange dreams, they started with piercing, yellow eyes staring at him from the darkness. Then he had flashes of a tree, a pound, a temple and a fox. And on the seventh day he found himself in a temple with a yellow and black fox, after it stared at him for a few seconds it spoke; "Hey Kenny long time no speak." He said, the way he spoke made them seem like old friends. "Follow me and we'll get started." The fox ran off and Ken followed him, two swinging, yellow and bushy tails stopped Ken from passing the creature. But after a few minutes they arrived at a sealed door. "Read this," the fox had cheerily said and Ken tried to but found some words illegible, when Ken told the fox it seemed saddened and walked away leaving Ken alone. Ken walked around for a while until he found the door then he tried to leave, but when he opened it a small creature tackled him annoying him but also allowing him to learn his name; Daisuke. When they returned to the door Ken read the whole thing making the door open, when it did Ken saw a Wakizashi. When he grabbed it he woke in his room, the Zanpakuto sat on a table when Ken gazed at it Daisuke spoke, giving Ken(ney) his Shikai. Shortly afterward he was placed in Squad 10.

The streets were empty, the wind could be heard blowing through the trees carrying the scent of Sakura(Cherry Blossoms) to his nose. Ken'ichi walked down the street, enjoying the momentary silence but a voice broke it.

Hey Kenny!!!"

[/color] A voice said, turning around Ken noticed a two tailed, yellow and black fox following him.

"What do you want Daisuke?" He asked the spirit as it caught up. The fox seemed to think before answering, "Here we go," thought Ken with a roll of his eyes.

"Well....... it gets awfully lonely inside there, so I figured I'd pay you a visit. Daisuke looked around, So... what're we doing?"[/b] Ken'ichi sighed before looking at the fox.

"We're doing nothing, I'm going for a walk and your going to stay quiet if you want to tag along." Since silence answered him Ken'ichi assumed he won and walked on toward a nice little place to sit. A few seconds later Daisuke jumped onto the bench and stared at Ken until he gave in.

"Okay, what is it," Ken waited but Daisuke didn't answer. "Daisuke, what's wrong?" The fox curled up and didn't reply. "Come on Daisuke, speak to me," Ken'ichi pleaded with the spirit, he sighed and mumbled when it became evident that Ken didn't hear he spoke again.

"That was....... priceless," the fox grinned and giggled before Ken could attack him. "Stupid fox, had me worried for a second, I actually thought I had hurt you," Ken told the air before laughing to himself.[/blockquote]

Zanpakuto Spirit: Not too sure I like the additional tails. While I know the mythology of the Fox Demon and the tails signifying the power, it seems to hold similarities to another certain Shounen Jump Manga. As such, I would like to ask you to remove the physical changes that the fox undergoes during an increase in power. The two-tails I do not mind, but increasing tails needs to go.

Unreleased Zanpakuto: While pictures are fine, please use your own words instead of 'how it looks above.' Describe the sword as though the picture is no there.

Shikai Appearance: Seemingly another Shounen Jump Manga trait; the fox turning gold with a golden aura. While this would normally go unnoticed or even by accident, I would like for you to change it, as it simply appears as though your sword turns Super Saiyan. Not only that, but this would be considered an 'ability,' and should be put in the Abilities Portion.

Shikai Abilities: Kamu - How long does it take for the sword to charge, and what exactly is the weakness upon the wielder? Can't he just turn this attack to 25% and keep it maxed out until the end of the fight? Without a weakness, that's what is assumed.

Sukaisupurittakika - Same here; how much would it take to 'focus'? There's really no set limitation listed here, so we have to assume the maximum amount possible. How long can the blade shoot, since it's attached to a chain? It has to have a certain distance, does it not?

Hogo Daisuke Sukaisupuritta - How long does the shield last, and how much damage can it withstand? How large is it; does it cover his entire body, surround him completely?

History: Normally, one does not learn Shikai until after graduation from the Academy. Just a thought.

Failure will also occur at full power if some weaker then him strikes it 100 time, someone with the same amount of power strikes it 50 times and if someone stronger then him strikes it 25 times.

I would think that someone a full tier level above him or more (him being mid level, Average perhaps, and someone at Master Level, Average) could probably break the shield in a lot less than 25 strikes. I would not give general numbers for any tiers higher than him, simply leaving it a bit vague due to never really knowing what tier level he will be facing. 100 normal strikes? What if one were to use some sort of charged attack? I think what you had up to this point was fine... the structure and description of this sentence, however, drags the ability down in my opinion; I'll even help you to reword it because I'm such a nice guy.
"The shield itself can withstand a variety of hand-to-hand combat strikes, normal Zanpakuto strikes, and some spiritual-based blasts. Blasts of equal to less tier level then himself, his shield can take the blow. The blast will not deflect, simply smash into the shield. The shield itself will weaken accordingly to the amount of power put into the blast. Blasts or strikes of equal to greater power than his own tier level may force to crack the shield, or over take the shield completely, depending upon the power of the blast or strikes themselves. The shield can take the brunt of the attack if it is more powerful than his own tier, though will obviously shatter after the attack subsides, providing the shield is at its maximum strength. Of course, this is still dependent upon the strength; someone of far greater tier level can easily shatter the shield and force the blast straight through. This type of action would only work in accordance to slightly more powerful blasts than the shield can withstand."

Something like this leaves it open, and is certainly acceptable, as it expresses more weakness, but also gives you a bit more leeway to the ability for defense. This states that the shield can withstand attacks technically stronger than himself, but not technically, as it will shatter the shield only if the shield is at its maximum; i.e., it can stand in as a dummy to take the brunt of a strong attack (as stated, only a bit stronger than his eventual tier assignment).
