History/Background:
Age: approx. 840 years old
Gender: Male
Personality:
Heath possesses many of the qualities expected of a knight of old. He is Brave and selfless, facing battle without fear thinking only of those he serves, his Captain and the helpless men, women, and children he must protect. If he were to die by the sword of his enemy, he would not greive for his own life, content only with the knowledge that he fought with honor.Appearance: Zanpakuto Spirit:
Heath can be described as very loyal but also very chivalrous. He serves his superiors without too much question, as long as he sees that the intentions of his superiors are just. In combat, Heath feels obligated to risk his life to protect those who are in need, even if he has to disobey his orders. His chivalry and moral codes prevent him from fighting women or children.
Having lived for nearly a mellinium, Heath is a hardened veteran in the art of combat, so his tactics and staregies for battle are well developed as he has fought sountless opponents in his long existance. He is intelligent and well mannered, but his age is betrayed by his youthful face which suggest that he is only 19 years old. His tone is calm and mature and he takes most situations seriously, though he still possesses his youthful spirit.
Socially, Heath can be described as kind and respectful as its not very hard to get on his bad side. He isn't overly talkative but isn't quite either. Heath has lived a long time so he has had many friends and lovers, yet he has ended up outliving them all many of his friends met a tragic end. Heath in turn has become a little bitter over forging new friendships or engaging in any romance.
Heath is fond of the mountains, vast fields of green with rolling hills and the clear blue sky as well as small towns that remind him of the quaint villages of old England.
Hyperion is the spirit of Heath's zanpaktou. Hyperion takes the form of a giant green dragon. He is bold and similar to Heath, so the two get along very well. While Heath is more oriented toward justice and chivalry, Hyperion cares more of personal honor and pride. Hyperion's Battle Spirit is much stronger than Heath's. Heath fights for good reason, to protect the weak. Hyperion is content with fightign only for the sake of defeating his enemy.Sealed Zanpakuto:
Heath's sealed zanpaktou takes the form of a simple but well carved foot soldier's spear with a wooden shaft and steel tip.Shikai Description:
Release Phrase: Soar above the clouds, HyperionShikai Abilities:
Heath's released Zanpaktou takes the form of a much longer, riding lance. The shaft of the spear is a maroon color and is made of steel, with golden metal covering near the top. The head of the spear is large and dynamic in design, its broad shape giving it a cutting edge. The length of the lance is longer than Heath is tall, making it more suitable as a riding lance than a foot soldier's. But through years of training and experience, Heath has mastered the use of his shikai, so its akward size is of no bother to him, (see above picture)
Heath's shikai has a strong electric charge, which stays constant as long as he pours some of his reietsu into it. If others touch the zanapaktou, they would receive several thousand volts of electricity flowing throough their body. The electricity is more powerful at the spear head of the lance than the shaft.
Lightning Spear: Heath can fire a large bolt of lightning at his opponent from the head of his spear. The lighting is just as fast as it would be in nature, and very precise though precision does decrease with range. The impact force is capable of shattering stone or sending an opponent flying. The longer he charges a lighting bolt, the more powerful it becomes.Bankai Description:
Discharge: Heath's zanpaktou's reietsu is converted into electricity and stored inside constantly. As a counter type defensive move, Heath can discharge all of the excess electricity at one, creating an electrical field in the shape of a sphere that expands outward for several meters until it dissipates from size. The feild of electricity covers a 360 degree range so that every target in range is hit. After this attack is used, Heath must wait several minutes for the reserve of electric energy to recharge.
Heath, having lived a long time, has spent many years training to attain the level of Bankai. But because he is not a prodigy in any way, it has taken him all that time just o learn it. He has not had this ability for very long and has never once used it in battle. He feels that one must completely master such a powerful weapon before using it in battle.Bankai Abilities:
Heath's bankai summons a large green dragon, larger than a city bus. The dragon is actually Heath's inner zanpaktou spirit, feeding off of Heath's reietsu in order to take physical form. Hyperion is capable of speech and thought making him a valauble ally on the field of battle. His scales are as tough as steel and his large, powerful wings can carry him through the sky and create gusts of wind. His powerful jaws can crush steel and his talons can tear through concrete. His scales are good defense against bith physical and energy based attacks.
Heath must stay on Hyperion like a mount in this form. If he is knocked off and seperated from Hyperion for 30 seconds, Hyperion will dissapear. This is because Heath's reietsu keeps Hyperion in physcial form and they must stay in contact for this.
Heath retains his shikai in this form, since it takes the form of a riding lance, it is perfect to use while mounted. But since Hyperion is in a physical form, he is no longer within the shikai. This means that the zanpaktou in Heath's hands is just a shell, it cannot use any of its shikai abilities.
Heath's clothes change alog with this release. His shinigami robes are replaced with an indigo colored light riding armor with moderate protection from physical attacks.

History/Background:
(Note: Heath is a balanced fighter with no major advantages or disadvantages In standard abilities. For this reason I put all skills at intermediate)RP Sample:
Heath was born in England during the 11th century, medieval times. He was born to a peasant family in an average sized village. As a child he spent his time helping his father as a Blacksmith. Heath's father was a just and honorable man as well as a retired knight. Heath learned of the importance of chivalry and honor from his father. At the age of 7, Heath was sent to a local lord to serve as a page, cleaning and caring for the Lord's belongings. This was Heath's first step towards knighthood. The lord Heath served was a well known famous Knight of noble blood. Heath faithfully seved his lord as he learned the art of combat. He learned Swordplay, Horse Riding, the codes of a knight, etc. At the age of 13 he became a squire, and was sent off to war along with his lord. He took care of his lord's weapons and equipment during battle, and spent his time training in the camps. Heath never participated in combat during this time until one day, his lord fell in battle. Heath rode his horse inot the battle field, carrying a lance into battle. He broke through the enemy lines and retreived his master's body. Later than knight Heath was honored with the dubbing of Knighthood and he himself buried his lord. He was 17 at the time, much younger than most knights, who were dubbed at 20. Heath fough valiantly in countless battles and earned a reputation as an accomplished Knight.
One day Heath met an old fortunate teller. She greeted him kindly and offered him tea, however, she told the knight that he would die young and he would die in battle. Heath wasn't sure wether or not he should beleive this, so he simply kept it in mind, not dwelling on it for to long.
When he was 18, Heath was sent with a brigade of Knights to occupy a village that had been rioting because of poor living conditions. Neither him or his comrades had been told about the true purpose of this occupation until they had arrived. The king had ordered a slaughter of citizens to set an example and quell any thoughts of rebellion. Many of the knights proved there loyalty to their king over their people. Heath opposed this act of terror. In quick impulse fueled by feelings of wanting to protect the weak, Heath slew the commander and led several of his closest comrades in a rally to prevent the other knights from harming the village. Heath and his group managed to guide the citizens into the forest and hold of the others long enough to escape. For several days, Heath and his friends guided the villagers away from the kingdom, protecting from brigands, bandits, and pursuing Knights sent out to capture the traitors. One by one Heath's fellow Knights were killed in these attacks and raids until only the young knight was left. Guiding a handful of the remaining villagers, he led them to the border close to another village where they would be safe. However, the king was no longer concerned with the villagers, he only wanted the death of the man who rebelled against his rule and slew his leading commander. Heath lived the final days of his life on the run, trying to escape his pursuers. Finally, one day he was surrounded while he was off guard, treating a wound he had recieved from a gang of theives. He stood and fought till his last breath, but was greatly outnumbered. Heath died in battle, and at the age of 19, just as the fortune teller had predicted.
Heath's spirit travelled to Soul Society, where he lived an average life in rukongai for a few centuries. Heath noticed that most citizens of this world rettained no memories of thier previous life, yet he did. He could remeber everything, even though over 100 years had passed since he died. Once at the market place, he thought he saw one of his Knightly comrades, but when he spoke to him, the man did not recognize Heath. The young knight noticed that he hadn't aged a bit since his arrival in soul society. While aging was a very slow process there, slowly but surely, those around him changed, he did not. He remained as youthful in appearance as he did before he died.
Eventually Heath's higher than average reietsu was discovered by the shinigami. They invited him to join their ranks, to which Heath gladly accepted the invintation. He saw it as a way to once more live the only life he had ever truly known, the life of a knight. Heath trained as a shinigami and obtained his own zanpaktou. he established himself as a fine shinigami. He found the battles with hollows to be very ideal, as he felt he was truly fighting evil without any doubts in his mind, he was protecting the weak from these monsters.
Heath served as a Shinigami for century after century, eventaully finding himself to be on of the oldest living shinigami in soul society. Yet still, his appearance hadn't changed at all. He still looked to be a man of only 19, only his deep gray eyes told of his long and troubling past. Many of the new friends and comrades he had met as a shinigami had eventaully died or were killed in battle. Still, despite his strange condition and the pain of his continuos loss, Heath still serves as the Eternal, Chivalrous Knight of Soul Society.
Heath currently serves as the third seat of third squad, serving under Captain Abarai Renji.
Heath bushed his thick green hair from his face, wiping the sweat of his brow at the same time. The sun shined brightly over head, blinding anyone who was foolish enough to cast a glance to the blue sky. Heath sat there on the rough ground, leaning against a giant rock that stood gaurd over this mountain side. Leaning up against the stone face with him was his trusted zanpaktou, it's steel frame glistening faintly in the sun's rays. Today was hotter than usual, even the cool mountain breeze did little good. Have he been in a Knight's armour, he would have overheated in his training, but these shinigami's robes were lighter and cooler and much comfortable, and he was just as proud to where them.
"You seem disrtacted today" a deep, disembodied voice echoed in Heath's mind. "'tis nothing Hyperion, I just feel a bit tired today" the young man replied, his words were directed toward his zanpaktou that set beside him. "I can't say that today is a day for training, at least not at a pleasent pace." Heath stood up slowly as he spoke, reaching for the lance beside him.
"Well I suppose we should head back down to the barracks" Heath mumbled both to himself and his zanpaktou. He began his slow descent down the rough mountain path as the sun began to dim as it sunk behind the massive stone face of a distant mountain.
