Age: 15-16
Gender: Female
Personality:
Tatsuki Arisawa is a student at the Karakura High School, in the same classroom as Ichigo Kurosaki, her childhood friend and karate partner. When they were children, Tatsuki regularly saved Ichigo when he was getting beaten up, as well as cheering him up when he was upset. A tomboyish karate practitioner with dreams of becoming a vale tudo champion, and already ranking Japan's second strongest in her age group, Tatsuki seems to possess no stereotypically feminine qualities as is typical of female manga characters. Her only obvious feminine trait is how she writes her name: using hiragana: (たつき), though this is because she thinks it looks feminine while she considers the kanji of her name un-cute.Appearance:
Personality-wise, Tatsuki is protective and level headed most times, unless someone has done something to her. She uses her great strength to beat up anyone that bugs her or her friends. Strangely, she has a lot of insight on Ichigo's personality.
Tatsuki is best friends with Orihime Inoue and is constantly protecting her from men looking for a date, as well as Chizuru Honshō, the school lesbian, who often approaches and grabs Orihime's breasts. Tatsuki has done this since middle school, when she beat up some bullies that were trying to cut Orihime's hair, and had already done so once before her brother died. After that, Tatsuki promised to protect her from anyone who dared to make her cry, and she and Orihime became best friends.
Like many of Ichigo's friends, Tatsuki is spiritually aware to the point that she can clearly see ghosts, hollows, Shinigami, and other such supernatural phenomena, though she lacks any unique spiritual powers of her own. She is strong enough to survive spiritual attacks most humans are incapable of dealing with, though this may be due to her karate training. She also has the ability to sense Orihime from almost anywhere, even across dimensions; she is able to sense Orihime when she travels to Soul Society, but remarks that she can't sense her presence after Orihime is taken to Hueco Mundo.
She has shown a very estranged side of her though at some points, mainly showing it to Orihime when their discussing her affections toward Ichigo. One part, that was cut from the anime, Tatsuki actually was disappointed in Orihime that she didn't take advantage of Ichigo when he thought she was hurt. She then went on to teach Orihime on how to take advantage of Ichigo.
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Tatsuki stands at 155 cm (5'1"), and weighs about 41 kg (90lbs). She has short, spiked navy-bluish black hair, and dark tan eyes. She appears to have a slim figure, but her muscles are well toned (she is the second strongest girl in Japan, after all).
When in her spirit form, she wears the standard Shinigami robes
Height 155 cm (5'1")

Sealed Zanpakuto:
Inuheishi (Dog Soldier)
Inuheishi is an honorable dog spirit. She is quite small, appearing as a small cub (having being only recently born), but tries to act mature and helps to guide Tatsuki. Still, due to her age, she does have a tendency to act immature at any given moment. She loves sweets and hates cats, like any dog normally would. She also shares many characteristics of dogs; short attention span, attention to shiny objects, and loves to be petted. Because she is so young, she is fairly easy to fool, and tends to believe what people tell her. Still, she trusts Tatsuki's word and decisions over any other.
Her inner world is simply a pain field of grass that seems to go on forever. Faint blue skies with patches of clouds every now and again. Night and day seem to pass easily as the next, and weather (like most Zanpakuto worlds) tends to decide on the wielder's current emotions. There are some patches of flowers, and some scattered trees about.
Shikai Description:
In its sealed form, it resembles a wakizashi with a yellow hilt reminiscent of a Chinese dao. It is kept sheathed horizontally behind Tatsuki's lower back hanging off the back of her uniform.
Shikai Abilities:
Her Zanpakuto is very unique, as it does not resemble any sort of normal weaponry. The Zanpakuto itself becomes, literally, the shape of a dog with an extremely long tail. The base, or hilt, is about six inches in length, and becomes the front end of a dog; half the torso up to its face, with two paws, which she uses to grip. From there, the tail can extend from ten inches to nearly sixteen feet, where at the end, lays a seven inch blade. Aside from the blade at the very end, the entire Zanpakuto is covered in a thick, orange-tan fur coat, with the belly near the base a coat of white.
Wind-based ZanpakutoBankai Description:
Inusori (Dog Sled) - Tatsuki swirls her Zanpakuto around her body, creating a powerful gust of spiraling wind. She then launches forward with a kick or punch, the powerful spiraling winds added to her physical attack and aiding in the launch. This is her most basic attack.
Kiba no Inu (Dog's Fang) - Tatsuki grasps onto the base of her Zanpakuto and commands it to literally bark while bearing its fangs. A forceful wind surrounds her, shielding her from basic attacks, or at the very least, allows her time to parry. This is her only defensive ability.
Hoegoe no Inu (Dog's Bark) - Tatsuki grasps into the base of her Zanpakuto while the tail surrounds her body. She aims the mouth of the dog-shaped base and launches a powerful wind-based blast of spiritual energy at her opponent. This is her most powerful attack.

History/Background:
In the earlier parts of the series, Tatsuki mainly hangs out with Orihime, and also protects her from the hollow Numb Chandelier, but gets injured. When Orihime's powers awaken, Tatsuki in turn gets protected by Orihime. Soon after that, Tatsuki begins to see hollows clearly, but never mentions it to Orihime. Tatsuki made Orihime promise that she will come back alive before Orihime goes to Soul Society. Later on, during the first invasion of the Arrancar, Tatsuki nearly dies at the hand of Yammy, who uses his special technique called Gonzui to suck up human souls. A timely rescue by Orihime and Chad saves her. Tatsuki also witnesses the battles between Ichigo, Tōshirō Hitsugaya's team and the Arrancar. When Orihime gets taken away to Hueco Mundo, Tatsuki is noticeably upset at her sudden disappearance, punching Ichigo's head through a window and shouting at him for not telling her what he knows. She is later accompanied by Keigo Asano and Mizuiro Kojima to Kisuke Urahara's Shop and sees Ichigo leaving for Hueco Mundo. Later, she joins the Karakura-Raizer team and defeats an Arrancar in charge of a Hollow fortress. She is put to sleep along with the rest of the team and is now resting in the soul society.RP Sample:
(Storyline will explain how she becomes a Shinigami; will add in once the storyline is complete)
Dark strands bounced with every step she took, with sweat glistening off her forehead. Her arms pumped back and forth as she continued to push herself further and further. One more mile... she had said that ten minutes ago, and right now, she was saying it again. Her legs burned, her heart pounded against her chest, and her lungs pleaded for oxygen. Still, she kept her rhythm, forcing her air intake at a steady pace.
Her thoughts trailed to all that had happened thus far in her life... or rather, over the past two years. Orihime... Chad... Ichigo... even Uryuu... they seemed so tight with one another, despite outward appearances. It was like they were apart of some special group... closed off to the outside world. Tatsuki knew of their secret, along with a select few... but still, she felt like an outsider. She could remember the days where she herself could beat up Ichigo with one fail swing, even while holding back... but now... he was on his own level... so were the others.
Tatsuki panted heavily, finally coming to a stop, resting her hands on her knees as sweat dropped from her forehead and off her nose. Those thin brows pinched downward, not liking the frustration that rose up within herself. Orhime... that girl was her best friend... and yet... she shook her head. She shouldn't be feeling such tension toward Ichigo, or any of the others... still, she couldn't help but feel jealous... not that they were off, fighting some off world types of battles, but that... they all had a connection... a connection that Tatsuki herself felt she would never be apart of...
... that is, until...
