I ask this because I was watching Bleach on line the other day ( the episodes where Yoruichi faced both Byakuya and Sui-Feng in the Soul Society) and realized that both were trained by Yoruichi and both have exhibited advanced Flash Step abilities. So which is more skilled in Flash Step?

They're both masters. We can only speculate unless we see them fight.

It may come out as biased, but I'd say Soifon is faster as she has more tricks up her sleeve, and likely a more intense training under Yoruichi as she was trained personally to take Yoruichi's spot. Further she has a speed clone ability that puts Zommari to shame, and Shunko.

Yeah, actually in Kubo's stat listings, Soifon was ranked as 100 speedwise, and Byakuya was ranked as 90.
So Soifon's quite a bit faster then. =P

I guess it makes sense that Sui-Feng would be faster, especially after you stated that she was trained specifically to take Yoruichi's spot. Personally I like them both about the same. A fight between the two would be very exciting; seeing as though they both have exhibited mastery over many elements, such as Shunpo and Kidou.

Actually, Byakuya's listed as having a 90 in kido, whereas Soifon is listed as having a 60.

Frankly I'd prefer to see Soifon fight Urahara. That would be epic

Actually, Byakuya's listed as having a 90 in kido, whereas Soifon is listed as having a 60. Really? I would have thought Sui-Feng would have been higher, cosidering her abitlity to combine kidou with shunpo to use that technique ( whos name I cant remember and am too lazy to look up at the moment). A fight between her and Urahara would be cool. I'm placing my money on her in that fight though.

I know the romanization in some cases is Sui-Feng, but we use Soifon here, since it's spelled the way it's pronounced.
Shunko is pretty much hoho and hand to hand though. Kido refers to regular kido.
And Urahara swamped Aizen. Without going Bankai. I think he's stronger than her, somehow. =P
