Arrancar Application
[/b][/center] In Character
--------------------
General Information
--------------------
Name: Árchontas Ton Diezmar
Actual Age: 543
Appearing Age: Looks to be 29-32
Race: Adjuchas
Rank: Privaron Espada
Number: 106
Appearance
Árchontas is a tall male at around 6'8" in height. He weighs in at around 195, slightly light for his height. Árchontas has soft, smooth and near perfect looking skin with a pale complexion. Árchontas has a single scar going from upper left to lower right, crossing over his right eye. This has left him blind in that eye and the reason Árchontas has an eye patch over it. Árchontas's hair is raven black and stretches all the way down to the bottom of his back, right above his butt.
Árchontas does not have on the normal uniform of a Arrancar something he started when he was still the 6th Espada, before being replaced by Aizen's lot and then after the fact Gin's espada army. Árchontas's uniform is consistent of two main parts. A kemono and a sash. The prime colour of the kemono is the secondary black of any Arrancar uniform, however the difference comes in the gold secondary colour.
The gold lines the inner and outer edges of his uniform and branches out on the neck, shoulders and chest into elegant stem designs. On Árchontas's right shoulder is a solid gold piece of shoulder armor with the same stems like design engraved into it. Although it should be noted this armor offers no protection and could be as easy cut as the cloth of his uniform. It's there for design only.
On Árchontas's waist is the sash that completes his elegant attire with the gold being the primary colour, lining out the outer edges of the sash with another stem design engraved at the bottom of it. In the middle is the black which wraps around the entire center of the sash and has the two gold stem designs at each end of the sash, one being on top of the black design the other being on the bottom, directly under it.
Árchontas's Zanpakuto is carried on his left hip, the sheath and hilt of the blade matching the uniform in design. Although Árchontas stepped down without arguing when he saw the power of the new esapda this appearance was all he asked to keep, as a memento of sorts to the passed. Being an old Arrancar now, he does tend to get sentimental about this type of thing.
As for Árchontas' Hollow hole, it got moved on his transformation into a Arrancar to his right shoulder, there for being covered up and out of sight unless the fabric was removed or sliced open. The eye patch he has on is also his mask fabric, which also covers up Árchontas' sliced open and blind right eye.
Personality
Árchontas is some what strait forward and could easily be summed up with a single word. "Fury." Árchontas has no love for anything or anyone. He finds these sorts of connections a complete waste of time and would call anyone who claims to be someones friend or lover a complete and utter fool. The only thing Árchontas acknowledges and desires, is power. To Árchontas, power is everything, the alpha and omega of the world. This is also how his system of respect works. If you are strong, you have his respect. If you are weak, Árchontas would be disgusted with you and be tempted to end your miserable existence.
Árchontas is not this way because of some horrible past or some single dramatic experience in his life, no he is this way because of his thought process. Árchontas has a cold analytic way of looking at things and always goes by this logic in everything he does. To him, to survive is the first priority and the most important thing in his life. To keep surviving one must be strong and to be around strong people. To keep surviving he must slaughter the weak creatures that dare stand up to him, because the weak do not stay weak. Even Árchontas was weak at one time.
This cold view is what made Árchontas what he is. He measures strength by fighting ability and will to survive. If an ally of lower rank stood up to Árchontas or disappointed him by failing him in anyway, Árchontas has and still would cut them down without a shred of remorse or batting an eyelash.
With that came some mild tolerance of failure, if they simply got defeated. However it is not to say he does not give a punishment out. That said, his cold, hard way of acting towards the ones stronger than him is not much different although, he would not attack them aimlessly, he has no reservations about taunting them and reminding them of all their failures. As for how he acts towards random people he doesn't know? They would be lucky (or perhaps unlucky depending) if he even acknowledged their existence.
Despite all this though, Árchontas can be sociable when business is not involved. Although he is mostly silent and listens more than talks. This is mostly a new trait for him, coming about because since he is no longer the 6th Espada he does not have too much more to do. So a forced trait perhaps, but, a trait none the less.
So, in short. Árchontas is cold hearted, cruel and has no reservations about killing, no matter who they are. His goal, and desire is to grow in power as a means to an end, for survival the harsh world of Hueco Mundo. However, it could be said he is also slowly changing out of his old habits as noted by his now, some what merciful approach and his new habit of striking up conversations. Perhaps, old dogs can learn new tricks.
History
[Human Life..and death]
This is a story about how the mighty fall. About what turns even the best of people into horrible monsters. When Árchontas was a human male, he was healthy, at a young age of 25 and was apart of the Edo Bokufu. Árchontas had a loving wife, two adorable little girls and he loved his job. Árchontas was not just good at his job, he was praised as having the ability to become one of the greats of his time. However, when you are really good at enforcing the Shoguns laws, you tend to make enemies. The people Árchontas took into custody had a habit of holding grudges and a mobster who was in charge of a local cell of a larger family that stationed itself in Edo had his own plans.
It was not his first time being behind bars so the mobster already had contacts and ways to get messages to the outside. He ordered three members of the Edo Bokufu he had in his pocket to follow Árchontas home and to.. "Take care of business. Send a message." So the three corrupted Bokufu did as they had been ordered to. They approached Árchontas at work one day, wanting to come over sometime, give his youngest girl happy birthday wishes and the such. Although Árchontas found the offer slightly odd, he was friends with most every member of the Edo Bokufu in the area, so he accepted. Little did Árchontas realize that even in the Edo Bokufu daggers waited in the shadows.
The day of Árchontas' youngest daughter's birthday came, she was just turning five. It was, to put simply, a blood bath. The three corrupted cops waited until all the guest including Árchontas had come inside and then they drew guns, opened with three cracking shots that struck Árchontas. They were not close to being done however. Once they thought Árchontas was out of the way, they drew there Katana and started to slice everyone in attendance down.
The kids, her friends, their parents. Everyone. The extra civilians were apart of the message and simply their bad luck for being there. Árchontas was not dead however. The guns being new to the Era, no one was really good with them yet and the three corrupted Bokufu missed his vitals. Today was not his day. Not if you judge death by the beating of a heart, anyway.
Árchontas staggered to his feet, coming into an adrenalin induced rage that allowed him to shake off the pain that he was in. Árchontas quickly unsheathed his own Katana as he rushed towards the three corrupted Bokufu. The sounds of clashing swords would fill the air as Árchontas clashed with them. Three against one was insane but thanks to the surprise of him attacking, Árchontas managed to fall one almost with the first strike, his blade slicing through his side and liver. Árchontas lost track of time as the battle raged on and some place along the line one of the corrupted Bokufu backed off of the fight although Árchontas did not notice. He just started dueling one vs one with the other.
Blood sprayed and filled the air with a crimson mist as Árchontas managed to decapitate the Bokufu who he was fighting, although his victory was short-lived as the blade of a Katana impaled Árchontas through the gut. The Bokufu who had backed out earlier, his name having been Takashi, was just to waiting for a good moment and took it. Árchontas fell to his knees and passed out, laying in a pool mixed with his and his families blood.
Takashi left him that way. It was only a few minutes longer before the rest of the Edo Bokufu arrived, it seemed someone had contacted them about the original gunshots. Takashi slipped away from the home out the back to avoid capture. The Edo Bokufu found Árchontas passed out but still breathing. They were quick on lugging him over to a doctor who removed the blade and did what he could for Árchontas. It was, in truth a pure miracle he survived, perhaps through nothing more than force of will. After weeks of recovery Árchontas went back to the Edo Bokufu just to tell them he was done with the job. Although no one liked it, everyone understood his reasons.
Árchontas would spend the next three years looking for Takashi but he would never find him. In the end Árchontas would snap one day, not being able to take the constant reminders of how weak he was. Hearing about his families in rumors that spread, waking up screaming his wife's name every night he attempted to sleep. It was far too much for Árchontas to handle. He just wanted to be with his loved ones again. So one night Árchontas rented a room, got down on his knees and made his peace. After that Árchontas committed Seppuku in hopes that it would release him. But in the end, it only damned him.
[First days as a Hollow]
In death Árchontas did manage to find Takashi. Of course it would be in death when he could do nothing more than scare him. Árchontas found that a very cruel gesture of the gods and it enraged him further. It did not take all that long for him to devolve into a hollow honestly, about five months of nothing but pure rage that only grew worse as he watched his family's killer live a happy, normal life under an presumed name. With his own family. Árchontas got his revenge though, when he finally became a hollow. Consumed by hatred, rage and hunger. Although it is seemingly rare for Hollows to attack living humans, this was one of the rare times.
Takashi. His new wife. His now eight year old daughter. He killed them all. He devoured there souls, saving Takashi for last. To make him watch his family die and not even know what the hell was tearing there soft flesh apart. After that was said and done Árchontas started to lurk around the human world, hunting for whatever souls he could. Four days and fifty-five souls later was when Árchontas met his first Shinigami. It was odd for Árchontas because at first he tried to run. Árchontas had no clue what a Shinigami was yet and had no clue how to fight.
However, when the Shinigami cornered Árchontas was when his first hollow like power came to the surface on instinct. The Shinigami was closing in. Árchontas' mouth opened up and out came fire, unexpected to both Árchontas and the Shinigami at the time. The Shinigami was taken by surprise and was engulfed in flame. While still burning Árchontas devoured him whole, savoring every single bite. After that encounter a normal human soul just never seemed enough for Árchontas. One day, Árchontas noticed another Hollow in the human world, stepping through a portal like whole it had ripped into the world itself.
It was another odd quirk of instinct. Upon seeing it, Árchontas knew what it was and how to do it. This was the day Árchontas decided to abandon the human world and go to his new him, Hueco Mundo.
[The First Evolution]
Árchontas was surprised when he first stepped into the endless desert of Hueco Mundo. He expected it to be much worse off, closer to something like how one would imagine hell to look like. Árchontas started to wonder around the barren waste land as if being pulled on a string by some invisible force. After an hour or two of roaming he came across another hollow, also the low-class simple hollow that Árchontas was. Árchontas was going to speak to him but he never got the chance as the other Hollow charged after him, mouth open. It was here that Árchontas learned his first rule of Hueco Mundo. The strong live. The weak die.
Árchontas avoided the first barrage of the hollow's assaults and bites and Árchontas quickly charged forward when an opening was available, wrapping his teeth around the other Hollow's neck and biting down. This is when Árchontas learned two facts, though not rules perhaps. Devouring another Hollow made him feel more powerful. It also tasted..wonderful. This process of killing a hollow, devouring it and hunting for the next one went on for a while until he found himself drawn into a place known as "The Menos Forest". At this point in his life, Árchontas knew damn well what lurked down here and how careful he should be.
But, something just would not let him leave. It was like someone was whispering in his ear just how much he would regret it if he did decide to leave. Árchontas walked around the giant forest for hours upon hours until he finally found what was drawing him there. A mass congregation of Hollows. All devouring each other. Árchontas instantly jumped in, devouring whatever and whoever he could get his teeth around. Then something unexpected happened. There bodies seemed to start merging together. Devoured and dominate hollow alike. The process only took a small eight or so seconds but at the end of it all a new Gillian class Menos was born.
Years dragged on as the new Gillian wandered around the large forest, aimless and without reason. Driven by nothing but pure instinct this new mindless creature killed and devoured for no other reason other than to sate its own hunger. Over the years however this Gillian started to change slowly and in a very subtle way. It started to act more intelligent though not by much. It started to look for hollows to eat rather than running into them as it walked around pointlessly as if something finally gave this large Gillian a mission and after a while the largest change came about.
It's mask change from that of a normal Gillian class Menos. The mask held bright orange markings and instead of a pointed nose it was out into more of a beak, curved. Árchontas had taken domination through force of will. He could still feel the countless other Hollows trying to take over, but he knocked them down one after another as the new breed of Gillian started to increase its rates of attack on other Hollows. Now having a dominant personality it had only one thing on its mind. Evolution.
[The Second Evolution]
Árchontas kept on as a Gillian class Menos, turning the Menos Forest into his hunting grounds. Gillians, regular hollows. It did not matter. If it came across his path, Árchontas would devour it completely. Although, it goes without saying Árchontas was just as much the prey as he was the hunter. Other hollows, mostly Gillians would seek him out to attempt to devour him. But they failed every time. Thanks to the mass of hollows that made up his body, he soon to learned to sort through them like playing cards, gaining bits and pieces of their knowledge and personality. This is how he learned of the next step in the evolution. The Adjuchas and the Vasto Lordes.
Árchontas' fighting style was now starting to shift far from the original dumb luck and instinct to a much more calculated and skill full assault. At least as intelligent as a Gillian could get. The next process of the evolution took a longer time to get, but it was a goal in his mind none the less. Árchontas would devour a countless amount of hollows until finally, he got that last one. Enough power and hollows finally built up inside of him that he found himself all the sudden shrinking.
Dust swirled around Árchontas and when it dissipated he was in a much more humanoid form then he had expected for a Adjuchas, but they were said to be highly varied. Árchontas looked at his hands, then his feet, then at his chest, noticing the hole. He was still tall, at around 6'8". His arms, chest and face were covered in the substance the mask was made out of. His mask had tribal like orange and yellow markings flowing up the beak and swirling around his crimson colored eyes.
On his back had been fully formed wings, from the same stuff that made the mask it looked like. There were separate tendrils in between the fillings, each tip holding a very small flame. It seems Árchontas' form was mix of the two more common Adjuchas, being neither more humanoid nor full animal. When Árchontas shifted his eyes down, he could feel himself grimace some what. He noticed his lower body and legs were an ugly, almost sickly green colour.
"Only one Evolution left.." Árchontas spoke out loud to himself. "One more step to an endless amount of power.." His voice was cold, dark and deep. It had a natural echo to it. It would be disturbing to listen to by any creature who could feel fear. With that, Árchontas started to make his way out of the Menos forest. The Gillian class seeming to move out of his way. As if they were afraid of the Adjuchas
[Path to an Arrancar]
Once Árchontas made it back to the surface of Hueco Mundo he started to wonder around. Something odd also changed in him beyond his large increase in power and physical looks. He had a unique thing for Árchontas something he had not felt in a very long time, which was the desire to be around his own kind. Not kill aimlessly, but to actually be around and not be so alone. Árchontas searched for days but then he found a few other Adjuchas Menos. They did not attack him, at first. They like him had much more intelligence which allowed them to form what seemed to be a friendship.
They hunted and killed and devoured together. It was oddly out of character for Árchontas, but he wanted to try it. This was the start of the final lesson Árchontas would come to embrace that feeble connections such as friendship was useless and false. Things were good for another hundred years, bringing Árchontas to the age of 235. Out of his group, consisting of himself and three other Adjuchas Árchontas was the strongest. They knew this as well and they plotted. They wanted his power. To use him in hopes that devouring him would make them Vasto Lordes.
So one day, after they slaughtered and devoured a group of weaker hollows they turned on him. Árchontas was taken by such surprise that one of their attacks made it past his defenses and slashed a huge gash into his mask and down his right eye, the blow that blinded him there. Árchontas was hurt, not just physically but emotionally. He had become attached to this group. Considering them friends, even further so thinking of them as a small family.
"So..Power is everything then. No room for friendship. No room for family..All lies. All false..Just a kind shelter for the weak.." Árchontas thought silently to himself as the other three encroached upon him, surrounding him like sharks. "I will not die here..not to such weak vermin.." This was Árchontas final thought as the three former friends all dove forward to devour him.
It was over in a flash. There bodies set ablaze all at once by a flame thrower like attack that he would later dub "El enfado del fénix". Árchontas rose up but did not devour their bodies. He let them simply burn to a crisp. It was not planned what Árchontas did next. Nor did he know anything would happen. It was nothing but a pure fit of rage.
Rage over the betrayal of people he thought his friends. Thought his family. A betrayal that finished Árchontas' cold logic. He reached his right hand up and gripped his mask and ripped it off. He was angry. Venting. He had no idea that what he did would transform him into something much more powerful though at the same time make his goal of becoming a Vasto Lorde completely impossible.
[Years as an Arrancar]
As the dust cleared from the astoundingly large increase and burst of his Reiatsu from the transformation, Árchontas staggered to his knees, gasping, completely taken by shock and having no idea what happened at first. Árchontas slowly stood to his feet, looking down at his body and hands, noticing his ugly green has turned into a beautiful moon kissed pale tone. He reached up to touch his face, feeling smooth, human skin. This caused a huge smile to come to his lips as he ran his fingers through his hair.
He looked just like he did when he was alive as a human now. The only difference he noticed was the hole that had moved from his chest to his right shoulder and the little piece of his hollow mask that made up his eye patch. Árchontas started to walk to get used to his new legs when he felt an odd weight on his left hip. When he looked down there was an elegant, beautiful double-bladed straight sword strapped to him, which he later figured out held his sealed hollow powers. It was his Zanpakuto.
For now Árchontas was in mere rags but it would not be long until he designed the outfit he wears to this present day, designed around his Zanpakuto, his outfit being an embodiment of his Phoenix theme. Years would pass as he slowly came to learn what he was, an "Arrancar". Árchontas was quick to discover his abilities and to become highly effective with them. Árchontas also got used to having only one eye, training his senses to a point that he was just as effective without eye, his sense of hearing become somewhat heightened and his left eye also being increased in terms of how well it can see.
About two hundred years passed as he Árchontas became stronger and more masterful of his powers and abilities, honing his fighting ability against whatever strong enemies he could find. Over the years he discovered other extremely strong Arrancar and in the end they formed the original Espada. Árchontas was the 6th Espada of the original Espada due to his strength, ruthless nature and his over all cool and calculated way of thinking. It just made him a very good leader at the time.
This is how it stayed for years until Árchontas was 530 or so, which is around the time Aizen Sosuke came around. At first it did not affect anything but when Aizen started making his own Espada and taking over the Espada as a whole with his own power, it made Árchontas angry. Very angry. Instead of submitting to being dethroned and being forced into a low rank that he called "The Privaron Espada" Árchontas stepped down and left completely. Árchontas would've killed the man if it was an option but he wants to live and he was no fool as to knowing he was out matched by Aizen. Árchontas left, wondering the deserts of Hueco Mundo, alone.
[Events leading up to Árchontas's homecoming]
After Árchontas left Las Noches he wondered almost aimlessly around Hueco Mundo, thinking and contemplating, also using any high-level Hollows he came across out of both frustration and a desire to get stronger. Although, as he already knew, slaughtering such weak creatures would do nothing to gain him strength. Árchontas kept this way of life for years until after the invasion of Karakura town and Aizen's defeat. Between the time that Árchontas left and to the present time, he had time to think.
He decided that he would work with this new Espada and take his rank among the weaker Privaron Espada if he must, all for a single reason. So he can be involved with things that will allow him to do battle and finally grow in power again. So with that Árchontas swallowed his mighty pride and walked to Las Noches, seeking to stay within Las Noches once more.
Árchontas was granted this, though he was informed that the Espada positions had been filled and thusly Árchontas was placed into the Privaron Espada ranks, as he expected with the number 101 on the right side of his neck. Árchontas still does not understand fully why he was allowed back, but if he had to guess at it, it was because of his combat experience and his age. But the why was rather unimportant to him. The fact is, he is here now, among the other Arrancar and he can finally go beyond his current power level, which he has had for years now.

Natural Powers
- Cero (虚閃 (セロ), sero; Spanish for "Zero," Japanese for "Hollow Flash," "Doom Blast" in the Viz translation) are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various body parts, such as mouth, tongue, hand or fingers. Only Gillians, Adjuchas, Arrancar, and the Visored have so far been shown to use Cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entities can use it more efficiently. Various Arrancar and Hollow characters display variants of the technique, such as the Espada-exclusive Gran Rey Cero, the Cero Oscuras that Ulquiorra Cifer can use only in his released form, as well as the Cero Sincrético performed by Pesche Guatiche and Dondochakka Birstanne.
- Garganta (黒腔 (ガルガンタ), garuganta; Spanish for "Throat," Japanese for "Black Cavity") is how Arrancar and Menos-class Hollows move to and from Hueco Mundo. Kaname Tōsen, Kisuke Urahara and Mayuri Kurotsuchi have also demonstrated the ability to use the technique. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.
- Hierro (鋼皮 (イエロ), iero; Spanish for "Iron," Japanese for "Steel Skin") refers to the hardened skin of the Arrancar, which is a result of their compressed spiritual power. While their skin is strong enough to block even released Zanpakutō bare-handed, it is by no means impenetrable. Stronger Arrancar generally have proportionally stronger skin than usual.
- Bala (虚弾 (バラ), bara; Spanish for "Bullet," Japanese for "Hollow Bullet") Bala is an Arrancar alternative to Cero. The technique hardens the user's Spiritual Pressure and fires it like a bullet. Although it is weaker than a normal Cero, it moves about twenty times faster and can be fired at a much higher rate, but the damage is much the same. Stronger Arrancar can also fire a more powerful Bala, while retaining its twenty-fold speed.
Arrancar Abilities
Name of Ability Respiración del ave fénix (Breath of the Phoenix)
- Description of Attack - Respiración del ave fénix is Árchontas' special Cero. The power and affects of this impacting the target is the same as any regular Cero, the only difference from the normal Cero being instead of bright red, the colour is a bright orange mixed with yellow, the colours shifting around as to give it a "Living flame" look. Purely cosmetic.
- Type - Offensive
- Range - 30 feet
- Limitation - Árchontas's ceros use 10% of his spiritual energy, this includes the normal ceros as well. Ceros have a five second charge time and fires from Árchontas's mouth (Breath.) Against people of an even tier the damage of a direct, non mitigated hit from a cero would be fairly damaging. The damage across the board would consist for energy like burns all over the body (in assumption the entire body was engulfed by the cero) or whatever area was affected.
Against people of a tier higher the damage would be reduced by 25% reducing it to a more medium-range blow while people of two tiers higher would be able to resist it by 70% or so. Three tiers and up could deflect it completely. For an enemy one tier lower they would take an extra 10% damage (translating into 110% damage, 100% being the normal damage) and each tier lower would take an extra 10%, Two tiers, 20%, three tiers 30%, etc. The type of damage inflicted by this attack never changes, just how much damage it causes.
disclaimer: Since this seems to be causing some confusion allow me to explain something. I am aware that just because someone gets hit by this attack does not mean they take the full damage, however to explain the attack is to explain the attack under the pretense that the damage is impacting and causing it's max damage.
That is why I used percents. 100% damage can be considered it's baseline, normal damage, it's max potential against enemies at his level of power and above. However powers, skills, avoidance all play a role in reducing an attacks effectiveness and things like higher tier also automatically reduces it's effectiveness over all.
Now since I state lower tiers can take increased damage by 10% each tier, that is why it says one tier lower would take 110% damage. That is the attacks max damage it can do, it does not mean it WILL do it because as I've said, many variables can take over and reduce it's effectiveness. I did not think this needed to be explained honestly and as you can see this is around four paragraphs long of explanation which is why I avoided it in the first place.
I hope this clears everything up. I simply explain this power and all my powers in fact in a 'max damage scenario' as to fully explain the max effectiveness the attack can have for its intended use. Hope this clears everything up!
Name of Ability Renacimiento del fénix (Rebirth of the Phoenix)
- Description of Attack - Renacimiento del fénix is perhaps Árchontas' personal favorite attack because of the tactical advantage of the attack, rather than it's power. A small flame forms in an orb around Árchontas, this orb changes shape to that of a small phoenix, small enough it could fit into the palm of his hand. What this phoenix does is fly at the target location and explodes on impact. The damage of the attack is relatively low only causing minor burns and perhaps setting a garment or two on fire.
However, it's a scare tactic. The explosion it causes has a fairly large radius. The point of the attack is to not so much hurt or damage the enemy as to get them to move and control the battlefield. That said, the attack -can- hurt. The reason behind this is because Árchontas can make up to three of these phoenixes at once and combine them. This multiplies the power and although the radius of the explosion does not change, the power and damage due, turning into a rating of 5 in power on a scale of one to 10.
The damage caused from a fully combined phoenix would cause extensive burns to the enemies' bodies. The pain would also be pretty high as burning is well, very painful in general. As to explain the damage brake down, I will use a scale system like above.
1 phoenix: 1 out of 10 (pretty weak, just looks scary as hell.)
2 phoenixes combined: 3 out of 10 (hurts a bit more, but still mostly scary looking.)
3 phoenixes: 5 out of 10. (Medium damage range, it does hurt but not a fight ender by any means.)
Also to note, the phoenixes must be combined for the power increase. If an enemy got nailed in the chest, for example, by three non-combined phoenixes it still would not do much. One last note, once the Phoenixes start heading towards there target, they cannot be controlled by Árchontas, so no tracking.
And for the sake of noting it, the speed of the phoenixes are on par with a Bala, unless three of them are combined at which it is slower then a bala but a tad bit faster than a Cero.- Type - Offensive
- Range - Phoenixes can fly 30 feet out and the resulting explosion on impact is a 10 feet radius with the impact location being the center
- Limitation - 5% of his spirit energy to make each phoenix and another 5% to combine. So in other words. 3 Phoenix's+combining into one=25% of his spirit energy. The damage against people of his tier of power would be as described above, against lower tiers the damage would only increase by a point of the scale per tier, or a 10% damage increase. People of a tier higher would be affected around the same as someone of his own tier, however two tiers and up would not even notice the affects of the attack, except perhaps the three combined but even then it would be extremely low damage.
Another thing to add is that Árchontas can only combine the phoenixes once every three post (not counting the enemy post.)
Name of Ability Las garras del ave fénix (Claws of the Phoenix)
- Description of Attack - This would be what many call Árchontas' main attack, at least as far as special skills are concerned. Fire engulfs Árchontas' left hand, prepping the attack. Árchontas could maintain the fire for 35 seconds without releasing the attack if he wanted to, the only reason for doing so being to wait for some kind of opening. When Árchontas decides to use the attack, he would swing his left hand at wherever he wished to attack and all the fire on his hand would leave his hand in four waves of flame.
These four waves of flame would be shaped like talons of pure fire, hence the name and would be in fair size, around half of Árchontas' body height. The damage of the attack is at a medium range, however it could be argued to be high simply due to the way it deals it's damage. Instead of slicing the target like an energy based attack, these talons shaped waves are of pure fire. They do not cut, they burn. When they impact a target, wherever the fire touches, lets say it wrapped around an enemies' shoulder for example, the area is set aflame.
Only the area hit by the attack is set on fire and the fire does not spread. The area burns until it has burnt away enough flesh to be on par in depth of a 'deep sword gash'. As one could imagine the process is painful and how people handle the pain is different and depends on the person. However, even if there the type of people to fight through pain, they sure as hell would feel it. That said the way to avoid this attack as the same with most every kind of these attacks. It can be cut/deflected by stronger enemies.
Anyone can dodge or block it if they have a good defensive skill, although dodging this attack is the safest route. Also as it's been stated the length, going from bottom to top, of the slash is half of Árchontas' height. His height is 6'8" so there for the slashes are 3'4" (for the sake of comparison as much as I hate to do this, that would be slightly smaller than a Getsuga Tensho) the spread between the waves is a small two inches, so if you can dodge one, you've dodged them all.- Type - Offensive
- Range - 15 feet
- Limitation - This uses 20% of his spiritual energy as do most of his medium sized attacks. The affect against the tiers are already fairly well listed above, however to recap. Damage against a single tier lower would not be all that different, however the pain would be increased. Two tiers below Árchontas would be the same thing though at this point and for any tier of power further away from Árchontas you go, the pain would simply be described as "Pure torture " at that point although the damage would not increase much at all, because it does not 'burn'' any deeper.
Against higher tiers, however, the damage would be the same and the pain would decrees the higher you go, by roughly 15% effectiveness per tier level going up. Another weakness to this attack if going against a higher tier is how, due to its shape, it be easy to reflect or simply slash in two.
Also it should be noted, the exact depth that the claws burn is 1 1/2 mm deep, being a medical equivalent to a large gash. This move could burn through an entire limb, however for that to be accomplished it would take at least 4 hits in the exact same spot since each slash burns the same depth every time. The process it takes to burn is drawn out over eight seconds.

Zanpakutō
--------------------
Name: Llama Aves
Translation - Flame Bird
Call Out Phrase: Resurgir de las cenizas, el ave llama.
Translation - "Rise from the ashes, Flame bird"
Appearance
Llama Aves in it's sealed state looks like your average single handed straight sword. The length is 45 inches, most of that being the blade. The blade is double edged and as the name "Straight sword" implies, the blade is completely straight with no curving and no blood groove. Llama Aves is fairly light and the type of attacks this weapon is designed for is quick, accurate slashes and jabs. The hilt of the Zanpakuto matches Árchontas' kemono in design with the bottom of the hilt being a ball design that was completely gold.
The center of the hilt is black and stays black until it gets to around the guard area. At the end of the hilt on both sides, a small golden stem design stays there. The guard of the Zanpakuto has a decorative red jewel in the center on both sides, just like the 'gloves' of his kemono. The rest of the guard is pure gold in colour and the sides of the guard extent up words a few small centimeters into little 'horns'.

Resurrección
--------------------
Appearance
To release Llama Aves Árchontas turns the blade to his chest, the tip of the Zanpakuto resting over his heart. As he moves the blade into his chest he starts to say the release phrase, the Zanpakuto's blade turning to ash as it comes into contact with his skin. The point of this mildly dramatic ritual is symbolism, the death and rebirth of a phoenix from the ashes it creates when he dies.
By the time Árchontas has finished the release phrase all the blade will be ash and his body engulfed by a swirling ball of flame for about five seconds or so then it would dissipate in a large shock wave, revealing his released state. When in his Resurrección, Árchontas' goes back to much what he looked like as an Adjuchas. His wings are back on both sides although they look skeletal compared to beautiful full set he used to have. The tips of each wing have a small ball of flame.
Árchontas' mask also fully engulfs his face again, the nose giving the beak shape as before and the eyes narrowed down to make him look as if he always has a glare. The tribal markings going up the beak and swirling around the eyes of the mask are back as well, in colors of orange and yellow. Árchontas' hands become talons, becoming just as sharp as his Zanpakuto. Also his wings span out five feet past his arms, each side having four skeletal points of the wing and each point having a orange/red mix of colored flame. Since thats the color of flames.
Abilities
Name of Ability El enfado del dios del fénix (Rage of the Phoenix God*)
- Description of Attack - This move is preformed when Árchontas places his right hand forward and puts a large concentration of his spiritual energy into the palm of his right hand. This takes 5 seconds the same time it would take for a Cero. However, when he releases the built up energy it is not in a blast of energy, the energy gets converted into fire as it's released from his hand (Like gasoline being lit on fire in a flamethrower..well..napalm rather) sending forth a some what massive blast of streaming flame that moves forward towards wherever his hand was pointed at the time of release.
This is Árchontas' big move and without question his strongest single damaging skill he has. It covers a fairly large area shooting out in a < shaped arc. The damage it can cause is massive burns on anything it touches, setting any area of the field either on fire or if it was in Hueco Mundo the sand would be turned pure black for example. This would be his rarest used move due to the risk to himself in using it. It's also his most defining move.
The flames travel at the speed of a cero until it reaches its max range in which it stops. The stream of fire is not channeled after the casting time. As for how to avoid and defend against the ability, it should not be hard to figure out, you can move away from it or if you have the defensive skills use them. This is why Árchontas tries to time the use of this skill when he does actually use it because of how astoundingly simple it is to avoid.- Type - Offensive
- Range - 15 feet in front of Árchontas and it sprays out in a < type arc that would by (as stated above) 15 feet out and 10 feet wide.
- Limitation - The move can only be used ONCE per fight and also uses a massive amount of spirit energy at 40% cost. It also has a 5 second charge time on top of everything, so using it is costly and has to be timed as not to miss Missing could be devastating for Árchontas perhaps even resulting in a loss due to the sheer amount of energy he wasted.
The damage against people of his own tier of power would be very high causing as stated massive burns to any part of the body that got engulfed in the flame. The pain would be high as well but, as people handle pain differently the affects the pain would have on them would be varied out. Against an enemy a tier or two lower the damage would be the same, however anything lower would find the attack simply devastating. However, Árchontas would not use this against someone that much weaker as it's to draining to him and simply not worth it.
Against an enemy a tier higher the damage would be reduced by 10% leaving it at a still some what high damage range, against two tiers higher 30% reduction putting it the medium range of damage. Anything higher would be low damage or they could resist it out right. For the sake of disclaimers this move is not a kill move and it would not end the fight with its hit. (unless they were close to defeat anyway, but that is common sense for any attack really.)
Name of Ability Las alas del ave fénix dios (Wings of the Phoenix God*)
- Description of Attack - This is where his wings come in as the name suggest. Small amounts of Árchontas' Spiritual Energy goes to the tips of wings to the small bits of flame. This causes small, fast moving projectiles of flame to shoot from the tips of the wings at his desired location. Although the damage is fairly low, it's more getting hit by a barrage that will hurt. Árchontas can only fire a single bolt at a time but he can fire them rapidly and they can only be shot in front of Árchontas and to the sides. In other words, it's limited to his field of view.
The projectiles are seven inches long needles of pure flame that moves half as fast as a Hollow's bala. This would make it faster than cero but not as fast as Bala. Árchontas could fire these until he exhausted all his energy, but that would be foolish now would not it? Also these are straight shooters. What that means is they do not track, there like bullets.- Type - Offensive
- Range - 25 feet
- Limitation - The attack uses a small 2% of his spirit energy, however that is per bolt. Since the attack is not very effective unless he fires a small barrage the cost is, effectively closer to 10% but can go up depending on how many he fires. The damage per-bolt done to an enemy of his own power tier is mild. Not low, but not medium ranged either. The pain of the attack is in the medium section and the damage type over all is like all his fire based attacks, burns to the affected area.
Against an enemy of a single tier lower the damage would not change much, two tiers lower and any lower than that would find it more powerful, the damage being more into the medium range. Against people a tier or two above would find the damage not really changed, however they would have a much easier time simply 'deflecting' the bolts with there Zanpakuto or even there hands.

The air was still inside Las Noches tonight, the only sound being the heavy foot falls of the Privaron Espada 101, Árchontas; As he walked through the palace, observing how the area had changed so drastically since he had last been there. Árchontas' head was turned to the left, observing the area with his good eye. He was so engrossed by how the massive palace had walls and a ceiling now that he did not notice the random Arrancar who was walking by. By mistake, his right shoulder crashed into the other Arrancar's left, though Árchontas ignored it and just kept walking.
The other Arrancar must have been new, because he felt he had something to prove and did not have any clue about just how much Árchontas was suppressing his spiritual energy. "Hey, you. You going to apologize or what?" The no name Arrancar spat out. Árchontas heard him but was ignoring him, finding no need to entertain such a pest. The Arrancar did not care for that at all though, so he made his first mistake of the night. He walked after Árchontas, grabbing him by the shoulders and throwing his back to the wall, using his right hand to grip Árchontas by the neck and raising him up some.
Árchontas simply gazed down at him with his Crimson colored eyes, his lips turned down in a slight frown, frustrated by the idiot's persistence. "Clearly you do not know who I am, do you old man!? I am Ra-"
"I could care less for the name of a corpse.." Árchontas said simply. His voice was deep, cold and even in such a human form still seemed to carry an almost natural echo to it. This was a natural Gillian Arrancar from what Árchontas could tell. He had no number so he was not born nor was he strong enough to be in Aizen's army, though perhaps it is Gin's now. The Arrancar started to open his mouth to say something but was cut short again when Árchontas started to release is Reiatsu.
The Arrancar was clearly much weaker because its legs started to buckle almost instantly. "Now. Let me go. I am in a very rare good mood tonight." Árchontas said as he kept his eyes glued onto the Arrancar holding him, repressing his spiritual pressure once again so the no-named Arrancar could move freely. Unsurprisingly he did as he was told and let Árchontas down.
Árchontas then kept doing as he was before as the Arrancar scurried off. "Such wonderful changes.." Árchontas complimented simply as he kept on his small stroll of Las Noches, acting as nothing even happened just now. It was slightly odd Árchontas did not kill the Arrancar but the truth was he spared him because Árchontas just got accepted back into Las Noches. He did not want to stain his home coming with the blood of a weakling who was not even worth the effort.
