Appearance
Veronica stands at a total of five feet and two inches. Her weight comes out to 117 pounds. She has a rather slim, athletic figure. She also has a caucasian skin-tone, that doesn't seem to change no matter how much she tans. One of her most obvious, and her favorite traits, is her strikingly red hair. It is a bright red, comparable to an apple. It is also wild, and lengthy trailing down to her thighs. Her eyes are dull gray, and appear big and round. Her hollow remains take the form of a type of helmet, around her cheeks but excluding her chin, then to her forehead where the front of it has a charm consisting of thee circles overlapping.
As a type of "shirt" she wears a piece of white cloth that just barely covers her breasts. Between that article of clothing and her belly button, her hollow hole is located. A large part of her abdomen is shown, detailing her muscular body. As lower body wear, she wears a skirt with a black hem, and the rest is completely white. As an accessory, on her right hand she has a white glove with the cloth cut off from the knuckles up. Also on her left and right arms, from the bottom of her shoulders to the end of her biceps she has white arm guards. She keeps her zanpakuto around her back connected by a thin, but durable cord. Her shoes are just plain, regulated sandals.
Personality
Veronica's persona is a bit...odd. She always walks around with a smile on her face, and not a creepy smile. She does this because she's always thinking about killing. Yes, killing. See, Veronica is a passionate sadist. Seeing other people's faces cringe in pain, watching the blood pour out of others...all of it excites her. She doesn't know how she became so sick and twisted, but she likes it. She's also a passionate experimenter, with pain. She likes to find new ways to make people scream in agony, and shrink away in fear. Because of this, she releases her Zanpakuto very early in battles and toys with her opponents.
She often goes hunting in Hueco Mundo, and the human world for two main reasons. Yes, the first is to eat souls and hollows. However, the second reason is to go around and kill humans. Yes they mean nothing to hear, but it's all one big chain. She needs food, and she likes to kill. So there's no problem, in her mind. Veronica also despises all Shinigami and Vizard. She doesn't like to admit why often, but it's because when she was a hollow, they actually made her fear. Fear that made it feel like she couldn't breath, fear that she's ready to return to the Shinigami.
Under her rough, and slightly psycho, exterior, all Veronica truly wants is companionship and love. She doesn't really know how to make friends, so it's hard for her. And most men are turned off by her sadism, so it's hard to find companionship nor love.. However, when someone does become close to her she becomes exceedingly loyal to that person.
History
Human -- Veronica was originally born in Barcelona, Spain in the 1800's. She was born to a fairly wealthy family, the Dos-Santos'. They were a powerful mafia, and everyone looked up to them. However, at the same time many feared them. Veronica was also a candidate for frequent kidnap attempts, for her father made it obvious that he loved her. Time after time, Veronica stayed safe with her family, oblivious to what they were trying to do to her. Finally, at the age of 8 she was successfully kidnapped. She was held for several days, as they tried to get information out of her. She didn't have any to give, so the men beat her instead. After two weeks of merciless beatings, they finally asked her father to pay a ransom. Unluckily for Veronica, her family had just been in a mafia war. they were uncharacteristically low on money. Her father begged, and begged but they still killed her. She hated the men, she hated them with a passion she had never felt before. She wanted to stab them, and twist the blade. Whip them, and pour salt into their wounds.
Soul -- As the rage continually bubbled inside her, she became a Demi-Hollow instead of a Plus Soul. She just wandered around her death site, glowering at her dead body. Then around her grave, hateful toward even her parents. Her rage was obvious, it was actually kind of shocking. Her whole life she had always loved her parents, never wanting to lose them. Now she wanted them to lose body parts slowly, and painfully. The more she thought about her family, and the men that killed her, the more violent she became. She kept feeding into her hatred as her chain became smaller, and smaller. Finally, after a length of about one year, her hatred burned out her chain and she turned into a full fledged hollow.
Hollow - Menos -- As a hollow she frequently made sneak trips to the human world for feeding sessions. During these sessions, she would often make close calls fleeing from the Shinigami. She did fear them, but mostly they angered her. Why couldn't they leave her alone? She continually went to the human world, sustaining minor damages, and avoiding the larger hollows. Eventually she transformed into a Menos Grande with a bunch of other hollows. Gaining control was hard, because another hollow was strong as well. However, eventually she won dominance and had control over the terror that is a Menos Grande. Now, she was able to not only eat the smaller and weaker hollows. But she could also eat in the human world, and kill the Shinigami! It was great! After the routine feeding of hollows and souls for awhile she was able to transform once more.
Adjuchas -- She transformed into a surprisingly human looking hollow. Though her mind wasn't restored, she could run better now. In her new form it was so much more easy to spread pain and misfortune out to others. She killed hollows, and ate them very happily. She attacked Shinigami callously, and absorbed souls hungrily. The process excited her, and she considered it very entertaining. She didn't dare stop, return to the shackles of being a Menos. She had to continue, kill or be killed. She had no choice, of course, it was either continue with her current way of life or be turned back into a Menos. There was no way she would return to that. She had way more power than her previous form, and she had just a bit more consciousness. But thankfully she didn't have to worry for much longer. She had been chosen.
Arrancar -- After awhile, Aizen picked Veronica to join his Arrancar army. She was happy to join the moment he mentioned Shinigami. Even though he himself was one, he couldn't be counted as one as he had betrayed Soul Society. She was so excited! Now she could actually think about how to kill her enemies, and torture them. Though Aizen was their true leader, she really didn't like him. Of course she would put on a charade and pretend like she was completely loyal, but inside she couldn't stand him. She had a different feeling about Gin though. She felt as if he was a better leader, someone she would actually be loyal to.
The Winter War had been bitter-sweet for Veronica. The bitterness came from the fact that her Arrancar allies had been, for the most part, defeated in her mind. They lost many of the valuable Espada, and just Arrancar in general. However, the sweetness came in the form of Aizen's death. There was only one who could lead them now, and she was right. Gin came into power along with Grimmjow. Even if she wasn't strong in anyone's eyes, she still had a chance of redemption toward the Shinigami. This was her chance! Following Gin and Grimmjow she was ready to kill those disgusting worms. They would get a taste of her wrath, and she hoped they would suffocate with it.

Appearance
Her zanpakuto takes the form of a Katana that is twenty-seven inches long, and weighs about one pound. The hilt is made of a black, velvety like cloth. The hilt is bronze and shaped like a rectangle. With the design of another, within the overall rectangle. The hilt is a cobalt blue, worn on her back connected by a thin wire.

Appearance
When she calls out the name of her zanpakuto, she will cut her arm and lick the blood off. After, a large smoke cloud will conceal her. When the smoke clears her new form is shown. Her hollow remains will stretch out and make a sort of cover over her mouth, however her voice can still be heard normally. Her arm bands will disappear and underneath several black, lace-like tattoos spread across both biceps, shoulders, and meet at the back of her neck. Underneath her eyes are streaks of black, and her nails and lips are also a matching black. Her hair is now wrapped into one large ponytail, wrapped with a black hair tie. Her shirt also turn completely black, and lengthens to covers her hollow hole. Her skirt stays the same length, but matches the rest of her body with black. Her sandals turn black as well, along with her glove. Within the glove, she has a needle that she takes out as soon as she releases her zanpakuto.
Her zanpakuto does transform with her. It transforms into a small palm sized, cotton, doll. The eyes are made of black buttons, and the mouth can be seen to be stitched shut. It has no hair, and if sat upon something like a table it would sag and fall over. It has some stuffing in it, but it is mainly supported by reiatsu. On the doll's chest is a completely white heart.
Abilities
Las Artes de Vudú - Voodoo Arts
- Description of Attack - Using her needle, Veronica will need to get a decent amount of her opponents blood. A decent amount would mean about 3-4 pricks of blood. She will then rub the blood on the heart of the doll, turning it from white to red. Then, using her own blood, she will create a circle for her to sit or stand in. The circle is 2 feet in diameter, and she can easily be knocked out from it. She can only exit the circle once during the technique, and if she does then she has 30 seconds to return to the circle before the technique ends. From here she is able to harm the doll, and do the same damage to her opponent. She is unable to cause any movement by moving the doll's arms, legs, or head. The technique is purely causing damage to her opponent via needle. For those tiers above her, she is unable to pierce any organs, merely cause damage from the outside. For those below her, she is still unable to pierce organs but she can damage muscle within arms and legs, but no major organs.
- Type - Control/Reiatsu
- Range - She must be within 25 yards of the victim, and within her own circle.
- Limitation - She is unable to kill the person, of course. Also, she needs a decent amount of blood from the person, meaning she has to cut them which should be difficult. Also, if she exits her circle, or the range of her opponent, the ability is deactivated. The ability only lasts for about 10 minutes. Because the technique is so draining she is only able to use it once per battle. To those who are tiers above them, she is basically performing close ranged attacks. Like cuts, and gashes, nothing like cutting tendons. For those below her she is able to stab through the doll, and the person will feel the same thing. However, she is unable to pierce through any major organs that would cause death, permanent paralyzing, or anything that cannot be healed afterward.

It was anything but quiet in the room of Veronica Dos-Santos. Shrieks of pain echoed across the walls as she giggled, entertained. Most of Las Noches had been uncharacteristically quiet and to some it was unnerving. But Veronica wasn't one of those people. Yes, she did enjoy fighting very much. But she found a long time ago the thrill of fighting is nothing compared to the thrill of torturing people.
She looked to her left as one person was in a torture rack, slowly having his arms and legs pulled until dismembered. To her right, she had the ol' fashioned pendulum of doom, swinging back and forth not yet cutting open the victim's stomach. In front of her, someone was slowly being dropped into acid. All of them were screaming in pain, and begging her to stop. Her smile grew as she went to work on the one behind her.
This man, young, extremely low spiritual pressure, was able to see her. So she was now dissecting him, taking out organs and such. He was still struggling, an screaming and so it was still fun to Veronica. However, she was interrupted by the motion sensors outside her room's door. She snapped her fingers and the monitor came over and showed her who was there.
"Tch. Great timing!" she spoke sarcastically.
She cleaned off her scalpel and hands and went to open the doors. It was a male arrancar, not too strong but he had good looks.
"Um...hi?" he spoke, already unnerved. But that was his last words. She dragged him into her room, and strapped him into a torture rack. She giggled as he shrieked in pain while his limbs were being torn. It was only a nobody arrancar, nobody would even notice his disappearance. There were millions of hollows, another one just like him could be made. But no matter what she had found a new torture subject. Today was starting out to be fun!
