General Information
--------------------
Name: Alexei Romanov
Actual Age: 193
Appearing Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance
Alexei is rather tall, standing 6'1". This would cause the impression of being lanky were it not for his very burly like build. He doesn't look like a body-builder, but it's easy to see he's not the type to be blown over easily. Thus, his body as a whole gives the idea that he is quite medium in nature, if not a little on the muscular side of things.
He has brown hair, which is roughly jaw bone length and he parts to his right. These lead to his light brown eyes which have a sort of gleam in them. His eyes are not particularly vibrant, nor are they of an unusual color, yet they stand out over his pale features which gives the illusion of depth. His nose is pointed as is his chin, which gives his face a rather thin and sharp feel.
Alexei is on the muscular side. This can be seen in his torso and abdomen. While not "ripped" he has lines of definition due to the fact that he seems to always stay in shape. His torso is also very pale which makes him seem almost vampire-like in nature. He however, does not sparkle in the sunlight and is merely pale. (Pale I say!)
His arms and legs are less defined than his torso however. If he were to flex, one would see the modest muscles that are within his limbs, but that is something rarely done. They mainly just look proportionate to his body, and aren't very massive or intimidating. His hands and feet are long and wide enough to still look as a natural piece of the whole. Alexei's right arm is perfectly proportioned; however, his left arm is an inch shorter. Fighting defensively, he generally blocks with his right arm due to its longer length. Despite this, he claims to be ambidextrous.
Alexei has no gigai. As such, he is stuck within the human world with no one to notice him. Due to this he is forced to wear the Shinigami uniform and mask his spiritual pressure at all time. The latter causes small worry lines on his forehead, as he considers it quite tedious. The only thing that really individualizes his uniform is the small necklace he wears that has a small gold hammer and sickle upon it.
Personality
Alexei is possibly the nicest guy you will ever meet, on the outside. He's the type that would literally bend over backwards for a stranger. This was a trait instilled in him by his father, who had an immense effect on him. As such, he has grown up always trying to please everyone around him, with no disregard for his own goals. This has caused him to have extremely low self-worth and almost no ambition.
Underneath this seemingly endless supply of kindness, he is quite bitter towards those that arbitrarily make him do things. He often mumbles curses so under his breath that he can barely hear them. However, not wanting to disappoint the father he idolizes, he keeps doing the arbitrary tasks for those people. As such, he's obtained a rather extensive Victim Complex. He takes everything as a personal attack against him, and is thus not very trusting.
Alexei believes a lot in the honor of other people. His father was almost over-bearing in telling that him that he has to protect his honor and be proud of his heritage. He also instilled that Alexei should never interject in someone else's battle unless it is to save their life if it is someone he truly cares about. However, almost in defiance, he is rather reluctant to fight. Even if threatened or pummeled he rarely draws his sword. This has led to him getting almost beat before he even tries to fight back.
The silver lining, however, is that it has gifted him with an almost unbreakable pain tolerance. But, even the silver lining has its drawbacks. Alexei doesn't know when enough is too much. He doesn't recognize building pains until it almost becomes too much. He generally notices pain first when ligaments or tendons become injured, leading to trouble moving. He often tries to fix the dislocations himself. This could cause things to heal incorrectly. This, coincidentally, caused his left arm to be an inch shorter than his right.
Since his incomplete hollowification, Alexei has a policy on not killing hollows. Never. He is completely empathetic and understands what it's like to feed off something just to survive. This conflicts so much with his father's teachings that all hollows are evil and should be eradicated. This becomes even more conflicting with the realization that he is part hollow. As such, he can be suicidal when he thinks of what his father would say to him if he knew about his hollowification.
His mind has become warped in his time alone. Alexei has become so disturbed that he talks to himself, not just his zanpakto and inner hollow. He sometimes actually lives in the past. This would involve him blacking out and thinking that he's in a memory of his. These are usually traumatic events that are not in the least bit enjoyable to relive. His zanpakto tries to calm him down and wake him up while his inner hollow tries to use the opportunity take over.
He fights very defensively when he fights at all. He uses the scabbard of his sword to block when it is sealed. He uses the scabbard in his right hand because his right arm is longer and it gives him more range to block. Alexei often blocks with this scabbard for the entirety of a fight, as he rarely attacks. However, if he becomes enraged (mainly if someone insults his father) he will switch the hands of his weapons so that his offense has the longer range.
When using his Shikai, Alexei tends to use it as a simple sword and doesn't rely on the ability of his zanpakto unless he deems it necessary. This is also he feels that it would be throwing himself whole-heartedly into a fight, which he doesn't like. It can also be attributed to the fact that he finds the ability cumbersome and hard to manage.
History
Part I-Rukongai
Alexei was born in the Rukongai to the clan of Romanov. The Romanovs weren't high nobles, but considered themselves aristocracy. As such, he and his siblings didn't have to worry much about where their next meal was coming from or any of the like. He was the middle child, having an older brother and younger sister. By the time he was born, his older brother was already a Shinigami, and the expectation was that he would have to be just as good as his brother, who set the bar rather high.
Alexei showed small signs of promise. His father took great pride in training him in the art of swordsmanship, and the practice was almost grueling. While Alexei and his mother, Olga, were very excited at his progress, his father, Sergei, was not. Sergei would constantly compare him, a small child, to his brother Vladimir, a grown man. Small, nagging comments would come up like "Your brother would've blocked that." Although he understood his father's expectations were rather high, Alexei couldn't help but feel like a failure, and thus set his mind to please his father.
He would practice independently for almost hours on end, trying to get a sign of approval that never came. Another blow to Alexei's self-esteem was when his sister was born. Upon seeing a healthy child, Sergei stated "She'd better not turn out like Alexei." This caused a tear between the young Alexei (now appearing to be eight) and his infant sister Sophia. Alexei decided he would set the bar even higher than his brother had.
His brother, however, would not be in the picture for much longer. An assignment to the Human World ended in Vladimir's death, and the family became even more torn. Olga would spend hours crying and Sergei became convinced that the wrong child had died. Alexei still felt resentment towards his sister and did not comfort the small toddler. This, in effect, left not a family, but four individuals.
Feeling guilty for being such a disappointment, Alexei confronted his father concerning more training to improve. His father then told him to become strong in his own right. Sergei told his small son to take pride in being a Romanov and to eradicate any hollow he ever saw. Only then, could he live up to his brother's legacy. Alexei trained himself almost to death, and his father began to actually show signs of approval. Along with this approval, Sergei told Alexei to always please those around him, because you would never know when they would cease to be around.
Alexei took this advice way too far. Sergei had meant family and loved ones, but his son thought it referred to everyone. Despite his oath to please, Alexei still harbored an illogically deep resentment and jealousy towards Sophia. However, as he approached a higher age, the time for his entrance exam was coming up and he couldn't afford to be too distracted by the fact that she took his place in his mother's heart.
Part II-Shinoreijutsuin
Passing his entrance exam and getting into the second class, the young Romanov was quite excited. His sister Sophia (now appearing 5) was very excited for him and gave him the small necklace that he now wears, but his father was left disappointed. Almost as if two-thirds disowning him, Sergei informed Alexei not to come around the Romanov mansion unless it was extremely important. Receiving the message, Alexei stayed far enough away.
He had not been prepared to be so completely alone. But, with his attitude, Alexei found that he made friends quite easily and that he was considered rather easy to get along with. That was good, he proceeded to attempt to fill the void of his shattered family with these new companions that he met. This didn't quite work as well as he would have hoped, as he found himself missing all of them, even Sophia. Alexei still felt a lingering resentment to her, but missed her nonetheless.
In class, he was an average student. All his time spent training in swordplay had payed off. That is where he truly excelled, while everything else just fell in line. Alexei was a bit above average at Hohō, but not enough to make him a standout student in anyone's regards. He tried, and that was worth counting. He would've received an "A" for effort, if they had given "A"s for effort. Despite this, he wasn't really bad at anything. Alexei was always in the top ten percent of a discipline, but that was just it. He was never first in anything and that just sort of helped him blend into the background.
Eventually, the time rolled around for him to graduate, which he did. He applied to, and got accepted into the Gotei 13. Feeling exhilarated, Alexei decided to make the journey to the Romanov residence to tell his family who he hadn't seen in some time. Upon reaching his old home, something felt wrong. He had no idea what it could be, but entered with only a small amount of hesitation.
Alexei walked into the main room and immediately saw the problem. His mother...she wasn't here. The only people present where Sophia and Sergei, who was sitting with his back to the astounded Alexei. Upon seeing him, Sophia let out a shriek of joy and ran to him. She began to tug on his pant's leg as he was much taller than her at this point.
"I figured you'd be back." This was the first thing his father had said to him in years. No sign of concern for his only living son, but, Alexei didn't notice. He idolized his father, and was feeling guilty about his failure as a son.
"Where's mother?" Alexei was quite concerned. His father was dodging the question, there must be a reason, but still.
"She's gone Alexei. Isn't it obvious? Vladimir dying was more than she could take. She couldn't handle having a disappointment like you for an only son. Her body just gave out, about a year after you left."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Alexei was to the point of tears, this was horrible. He looked down at his little sister, who was beginning to tear up also. This was her fault, if she had been born a boy, this never would've happened. Mother would still be here. Everything would be fine again.
"It was a family matter." That said it all. He was such a disappointment his father didn't even consider him a child anymore. With that, Alexei shoved Sophia off of him, and walked out the door. He shed a small tear, then set off.
Part III-Life as a Shinigami
Alexei was accepted into Squad 7. He remained unseated, as he didn't show any particular talent. This was due in part to his hesitancy to fight and show any of his ability. The one thing he did do right, however, was slay hollows. Against them he felt such a hatred, for they took his brother away. That, in turn, ruined his family and made his father so disappointed in him.
If there was ever a spar between him and someone else, he would usually just take the blows. Alexei considered it impolite to raise one's sword against another now. His father had broken him. This led to several trips to the infirmary and he spent a lot of his time there. As an effect, many seemed to believe he belonged to Squad 4. He decided it would be displeasing to correct them. What a door-mat of a man.
Part IV-Obtaining Shikai
A big step forward occurred when he began to talk to his sword. Alexei had plenty of friends, due to his door-mat personality, but they never really understood him. The sword seemed, sympathetic, at the least. It seemed to know that Alexei had been through a lot. During one of these talks, Alexei felt himself begin to get very dizzy. As he fell to the ground, he slipped from consciousness.
When he awoke, he was in an icy forest. The first thing he noticed was that he wasn't necessarily cold. That was odd, very odd indeed. As Alexei looked around, he saw a lake, more snow, and a Siberian Husky. Wait, a Siberian Husky?
Upon further investigation, Alexei noticed that the Husky was much bigger than it should be. The dog hadn't noticed him, it was staring wearily at the lake. Deciding he should approach, Alexei began to slowly meander in the dog's general direction. When he got maybe a meter away, something quite peculiar happened.
Don't you sneak up on me! It's not very nice. Alexei almost fell over. Such a deep voice, and it seemed to come from nowhere. Unless...no, dogs don't talk. That just did NOT happen. Standing there, dumbstruck, Alexei tried his hardest to comprehend what was going on around him. When he didn't come up with anything, he moved even closer to the dog.
"I mean it, don't you fuckin' sneak up on me." This time there was no denying it. The deep, burly voice came from the dog. He could tell because the dog had looked at him and he could see movement in the mouth. What the hell was happening? Was he suddenly in some magical world where animals talked? That seemed to be the only logical solution. The dog seemed to pick up on his confusion.
"What's so strange about a goddam dog talkin'? Huh? Dogs can talk, you dumbass humans just can't always understand us!" Alexei just stood there, he was still trying to figure it out. How was this happening? Was this a dream? Yes, that had to be it. Apparently getting irritated, the dog took action. In a swift motion, the large Husky had knocked Alexei off his feet and stood on top of him with two paws pressed on his chest.
"Say something dammit!" Alexei grimaced, this dog was at least two-hundred pounds.
"You're heavy." The dog's face twitched. He seemed rather...ummm...ermmm...pissed off.
"WHAT WAS THAT?! Are you calling me fat boy?! I oughtta eat you up! How rude do you have to be?" Despite his protests, the large Husky did remove himself from Alexei's body. Alexei proceeded to stand up slowly and brush himself off.
"Who are you anyway?" He looked at the dog. Strangely enough, this question didn't seem to exasperate him, only exhaust him. With a deep sigh, the dog began to speak.
"I'm your zanpakto. I'm the one that's been talking to you for the past few months. I know you didn't expect this, but, here we are." Alexei knew that zanpaktos had form spiritually. So, this must be his. Did this mean he was about to learn Shikai? That's what it had to mean, what other explanation was there?
"Am I about to learn Shikai?" He felt kind of dumb asking, but felt he had to. The dog did seem irritated by this though.
"What kinda idiot are ya? Huh? Of course you are, if you can pass my little test that is." The Husky got a sort of devilish grin as he said that last bit. As if something bad was about to happen. The wind began to pick up. It started to snow...scratch that, it started to flurry. The dog ran up to him, and jumped up to him again. Poking him in the chest with nose, the dog uttered a single word. "Tag!"
Alexei was pretty taken back. What the hell was going on now? Was he expected to play some demented version of tag? Almost as if answering, the flurry picked up. Alexei tried to move forward, but it seemed something was coming at him. He squinted and leaned forward to try to get a better look. He was suddenly knocked down. It had been a wave of ice, about two feet in diameter.
He got up and began to run forward, there was more ice coming at him. It was horizontal this time to, so Alexei jumped over it with a little difficulty. His foot had got caught on the ice, and he tripped. But, it was better than getting hit by it. He progressed a few more yards and had to dodge another wave of ice. This was vertical, and he was able to Shunpo to the side to avoid it.
Finally, he saw the dog. Alexei darted at him, and had to dodge more ice. It seemed to be actually coming from the dog. He wasn't even moving to make it. Something peculiar was happening as well. The dog wasn't moving as Alexei got closer. Eventually Alexei smacked the dog on the nose. The flurry stopped. Almost anti-climatically.
The large Siberian Husky walked up to Alexei and looked up at him.
"You trade mobility for that power. If that's alright with you. Eekay Sobaka." Alexei nodded, it made sense. But, what was that last bit? Ice dog in Russian? He gave the dog a very quizzical look.
"What was that last bit?"
"My name. Call it out when you need me." With that, Eekay Sobaka looked back at his lake. Alexei's vision began to get fuzzy. He found himself face down on the floor. He stood up and almost congratulated himself. Alexei now had Shikai.
Part V- Falling Out and Assignment
Alexei was not ambitious, and tried to blend in as a Shinigami. He did not show off the fact that he had obtained Shikai, but he felt some people suspected him of having it. Eventually, there was a sparring match that occurred in front of the whole Squad. Alexei, had the misfortune of being drawn as one of the combatants. He and his opponent walked forward. His opponent drew his sword; Alexei did not.
The other fighter rushed and began to attack him. Alexei dodged when he could and took the cuts that he couldn't. His opponent felt that Alexei was mocking him, and taunting ensued. He started saying that he was a second rate Shinigami, that he wasn't fit to be in Squad 7. Alexei showed no interest in this and that only further angered his counterpart.
"What's wrong, didn't your father ever teach you how to fight?" Alexei stopped running. That...was too far. Alexei drew his blade with his right hand, the longer arm. He pulled up the scabbard with his left hand and held it as well. When his attacked went in for a strike, Alexei blocked with the scabbard and threw a big overhand shot with the sword.
The blade cut deep into the opponent's collar. He went to retreat, but Alexei would not have that. He threw his scabbard to the side, and grabbed the wrist of his victim. Alexei pulled him closer and smacked him in the side of the head with his handle. He then let go of the man, he had other plans in mind. Alexei was just pissed enough to use his Shikai, and decided it was time to.
"Bite with ferocity, Eekay Sobaka." As he spoke, he moved his blade to his side and pointed it with his arm level with his shoulder. As it released, Alexei's reiastu intensified. Without waiting for his opponent to react, Alexei used Shunpo to put himself within striking distance of him.
He slashed quickly across his opponent's stomach, causing blood to stain the ground. It was as if his enemy was moving in slow-motion. The next series of attacks, the opponent managed to block, but Alexei was obviously over-whelming him. The fighter dropped from exhaustion and Alexei delivered a quick kick to the midsection. Raising his sword above his head, Alexei prepared to finish it.
Finding himself restrained, Alexei looked around. He had been placed in a Bakudo by someone from the Squad. They were treating his opponent. Why? For the first time, Alexei really looked at what he had done to his squad-mate. He was in horrible shape. Had he done that? He remembered being taunted concerning his father, and after that everything was a blur.
Alexei sealed his zanpakto, and he was released from the Bakudo. His captain had told him that effective immediately, he was to monitor an area in the world of the living. He was to stay there for two months. Alexei remained frigid and silent. He didn't know what to say, or how to apologize. While it was never said, Alexei always assumed that this was a punishment for his assault of his Squad mate.
With no one telling him goodbye or wishing him luck, he went through the Senkaimon. He walked through with his head down, and promised under his breath to make everything right when he came back. Alexei didn't know that he would never get the chance to make amends for what he did. He left before he was able to receive the news that his father had died and that he was now the head of the Romanovs. That fact may have changed his mindset over what was to come...but he remained out of the loop.
Alexei set foot in the world of the living and almost immediately felt a disturbance. His anger was still fueled by what Sergei had always told him, every hollow was to be eradicated. Closing his eyes, he tried to find the location of it. It was close...too close. Alexei opened his eyes just in time to be swatted to his left, violently. The hollow had been much closer than he had thought. Drawing his sword with his good arm, Alexei became determined to end this quickly.
With quick use of Hohō, Alexei was within striking distance of the beast. He slashed at it relentlessly, but it all seemed to be to no avail. How was this inferior hollow standing up to him like this? Alexei frowned but couldn't ponder that for long, he had attacks to dodge. The hollow seemed to be almost toying with him. It barely attacked back. What was this?
Alexei decided he should up the ante. He released his Shikai, and proceeded to attack relentlessly. This actually seemed to upset the beast, and it fought back. Blood was shed on both sides until Alexei cut off one of the fingers of the hollow. It shrieked in pain and bit Alexei on the shoulder. Alexei shuddered. He had never felt pain like this before. Luckily, he still had his wits about him. The hollow had bitten his left shoulder, which meant he could still kill this bastard.
Alexei stabbed the hollow in the side of its neck. Blood began to pour everywhere. This, at the very least, discouraged it. It released him and began to run. Unfortunately for it, to kill this hollow was Alexei's sole goal. He jumped onto its back and began to attack before eventually stabbing in. Something drove this hollow to open a Garganta and transport himself to Hueco Mundo. Alexei would've retreated, but he was so caught up in his goal. Thus, the hollow moved to Hueco Mundo, with Alexei on its back.
Part VI-Hueco Mundo, Hollowification, and Present
Alexei felt a violent jerk. He looked up and around. Where the hell was he? Wait...he had heard of this place...Hueco Mundo. While he pondered this, the hollow had thrashed about enough so that he lost his footing and fell of its back with Ice Sobaka in hand. The hollow retreated further into the Forest of Menos, which Alexei realized he was currently in.
Loneliness overwhelmed him. He was stranded in the realm of the hollows. Alexei had no supplies, no way of contacting anyone, and no companionship other than Ice Sobaka. Frankly, his zanpakto got annoying and wasn't the best companion. Looking around, Alexei realized something else. He was getting hungry, and there was no form of food around.
He bared with this overwhelming hunger for a month. He became unusually thin and incredibly weak. Alexei went on long walks in the Forest of Menos to try to take his mind off the hunger. On one such walk, he went to avoid what he thought was a strong hollow, but was really one of the weakest he had ever seen. It was downright puny. Alexei's hunger overtook him, and, in a fit of impulse, he pounced on the hollow and took a bit out of it.
The surge that he felt was amazing. Hollows were made of reishi so it made sense. But this only increased his hunger. He needed more...he had to have more. He ate more and more of that particular hollow until it was all gone. Alexei felt his strength returning. That was how he must survive from now on.
For three years, Alexei lived that way. He ate all the weak hollows he could find, and even fought some of the ones that were of average strength just to devour them. Somewhere along the way, he felt a nagging presence within him. It was something new, not Ice Sobaka. Alexei ignored this presence and continued to survive. Alexei didn't know that as he did this, the presence got stronger and stronger. His inner hollow was forming.
Finally, the build-up led to the climax. Alexei felt himself slip from control from time to time, but he was always able to bring himself back. No internal battle took place, and he was still able to suppress the hollow within him, though he did not know that was what it was. One such time that he lost control, a mask began to form. He couldn't repress it this time, the hollow had built up too much control.
This hollow went on an eating frenzy. This just built and built his strength. The hollow's mask began to spread across his face, as it now covered half. The hollow must have gotten bored of the Forest of Menos, because with a scream it made a Garganta to the World of the Living and went through. It arrived and began to look around. The hollow had evil intentions on its mind, but it had used up some energy making the Garganta.
With a push of their combined willpower, Alexei and Ice Sobaka were able to regain control and tear off the mask. Alexei was now stranded in the World of the Living, he could contact the Seireitei. Then he realized that he couldn't...he was part hollow now. If he were to return his father would disown him. All hollows should be eradicated; should he be eradicated now? These thoughts filled his head and made him think about killing himself.
However, he kept himself alive. Maybe there was a cure. Alexei was convinced he could cure himself if he thought about it long enough. That was one of the few things that kept him going. He keeps himself alive by eating hollows that leak through into Karakura Town. He does this sparingly, as he knows it only strengthens the hollow inside him.
Living in the World of the Living for two years now, he has spent the past five years alone. This has made him extremely lonely and warped his mind. He has actually seen manifestations of his inner hollow, but he reaches out to him because he needs some form of companionship from anything. He gives a small apology to all hollows that he feels he must eat, and he considers them his brethren now. Between his "meals" he mainly watches humans or tries to sleep. Without a Gigai, that's all he really can do.

Zanpakutō
--------------------
Name: Ice Sobaka
Translation - Ice Dog
Unreleased Appearance
When sealed, Alexei's zanpakto takes the form of a slightly elongated katana. Its blade length is thirty inches long, with a hilt of six inches. This means that Alexei cannot place both hands on the hilt, but that is almost ideal. The handle is a light, pale blue which seems to almost be reflective in the sunlight. The hilt is a hollow pentagon with lines connecting the points of the pentagon to the sword.
--------------------
Zanpakutō Spirit
--------------------
Name: Eekay Sobaka
Gender: Male
Spirit Appearance
Eekay Sobaka is a large Siberian Husky. His coloration is predominantly black with white on his underbelly, the front of his face, and his nose. His back, and the top of his face is black. Following the color scheme is his tail, which is black on top and white on the underside. Eekay Sobaka's legs are black on top as a continuation of the back, but that quickly gives way to pure white which continues to his paws. He posses piercing blue eyes, and elongated teeth that show only when he grins or tries (unsuccessfully) to look menacing.
Large indeed, Eekay Sobaka stands four feet tall from his paws to his massive shoulders. Built rather muscular, he weighs 250 lbs and his whole body is massive. His tail could double as a club with its girth and length. His body is five feet long, with a foot of that belonging to his tail. To provide a good foundation, Ice Sobaka's paws are each seven inches long (not including the claws, which are an addition three inches).
Personality
Eekay Sobaka is much more emotional than his master. He is not as eager to please as Alexei is and can be quite vocal when faced with something he does want to do. Often childish, whenever Alexei performs Jinzen Eekay Sobaka has been known to have certain antics, such as dancing in his inner world or telling crude jokes. Ice Sobaka is considered "easy-going" as far as zanpakto go. He also tends to feign being asleep to be "left nice and alone" when Alexei may try to talk to him.
Despite his childish nature, Eekay Sobaka believes in doing what is right and just. He doesn't urge Alexei into pointless or mindless battles and can even get along with Sablya Tigra. However, he has been known to pointlessly harass Sablya and chase him around, fulfilling the stereotypical cat-dog relationship. Without being tied into a situation, Ice Sobaka can look at what Alexei may be going through objectively, and can sometimes offer advice, when he's not busy chasing cats.
Relationship to Master
To Alexei he acts very childish. Eekay Sobaka often antagonizes his master and tries to play games when there are serious matters at hand. Due to his easy-going nature, Ice Sobaka doesn't command a lot of respect from his master nor does he mind simply being called "Sobaka" (dog). He can act as Alexei's voice of reason and lets him know when he's being "a wuss".
He feels that his master is a doormat to many people, which may be true. For this reason, he refuses to tell him anything more about his power because he feels Alexei will not "further his own goals". Despite his disapproval, Eekay Sobaka enjoys his master's company, as Alexei is very lonely and they're kind of stuck with each other. He feels like a big part of his master's life and when he chooses to pipe up he expects Alexei to listen and heed his advice to the letter. He becomes very vocal when this is not the case and has been known to curse at Alexei when this happens.
Inner World
Eekay Sobaka's inner world is a snow covered forest set in the Russian wilderness. It always seems to be about three o clock due to the position of the sun. The world is very calm, as there is no weather that occurs there. Despite it's appearance, it is not all that cold in this world. There are small bits of wildlife, mainly squirrels that seem to dart around in the trees. These animals are made out of reishi and would dissipate if destroyed.
The trees themselves are towering, many reaching sixty feet tall. The trees are coniferous and the ground around them is littered with pine cones. There is a small lake in the world, outside the forest. It is not even remotely frozen despite the abundance of snow and ice. Eekay Sobaka spends most of his time around this lake, rarely venturing out into the forest that lies beyond in his own world.
--------------------
Inner Hollow
--------------------
Name: Sablya Tigra
Gender: Male
Appearance
Sablya Tigra takes the form of a Saber-Toothed-Tiger. He stands three feet tall to the shoulder and is four feet long from his head to his hind. His small tail is three inches but is usually laid down almost between his legs. Weighing in at 300 pounds, he is smaller than most Smilodons (Terminology). This makes him more agile than many of his extinct kind and Ice Sobaka.
Sablya Tigra looks vicious. The first thing noticed are his extremely long canines. These fangs are a foot long and are much more durable than Smilodon's canines usually are. These teeth are even visible when his mouth is closed. Next are his eyes which are a piercing green. They emit this feeling of ravenous hunger. His coloration is a brownish yellow which covers his whole body with the exception of some white around the eyes. There are also some faint black stripes across his back which add to his tiger-like qualities.
Personality
As far as Inner Hollows go, Sablya Tigra is rather laid back. He doesn't try to take over the body constantly, but, that could be due to his high intellect. He realizes that he can't overcome the combined wills of Ice Sobaka and Alexei. However, when Alexei becomes enraged during combat, or is preoccupied with a flash-back, his will is weakened. In these situations, Ice Sobaka is either concerned with bringing Alexei back to reality or enraged as well due to his very vocal persona.
Sablya Tigra is mischievous, opportunistic, and extremely untrustworthy. Despite this, he can be playful, or at least, pretend to be. To take control is his primary and only goal. To do this, he is willing to bide his time and pick his battles. This can involve laying dormant for a while and then popping up in times of Alexei's weakness. Often he only adds to dementia by reminding Alexei of his deeds in the Menos Forest and how his own creation stemmed from it.
When he's not conniving and playing with the emotions of the other inhabitants of Alexei's body, he can be almost enjoyable to be around. He has been known to let Ice Sobaka chase him in the inner world. This is quite comical as it fulfills the typical "dog-cat" paradigm. He seems to be more at home in the forests of Ice Sobaka's Inner World than even Ice Sobaka. It has become known to Alexei that he resides in a cave many miles away from the lake where Ice Sobaka tends to stay.
Relationship to Master
Sablya Tigra isn't as forwardly ambitious as a lot of other hollows. He doesn't threaten to consume Alexei's mind constantly, because he knows he doesn't have the strength to. Sablya Tigra fakes friendship to both him and Ice Sobaka. While Ice Sobaka doesn't really believe the rouse, Alexei is extremely lonely and willing to believe anything.
Sablya Tigra does, however, act pretty opportunistically towards the equilibrium of control. He openly encourages Alexei's anger, for he knows that his will will weaken when angry. When Alexei does go into rage, Sablya Tigra becomes a much more active participant. This often leads to at least partial hollowification when Alexei does become enraged. Only with the unified efforts of Alexei and Ice Sobaka can he be forced from control again.

Mask Appearance and Summoning
The mask is shaped very much like the flattened skull of a saber toothed tiger. It is mainly made of straight-lines with a few curves, as opposed to many hollow masks which are oval shaped. The top is a straight line that cover Alexei's forehead, it then has two small, concave curves downward that lead to the sides of the mask. The sides are also straight lines that lead down to Alexei's jaw. They lead to concave diagonals along his jaw this meet with a horizontal straight line at his chin.
The features of the mask are also very intrinsic of a saber-toothed tiger. Notably, that six inch fangs that comes from where the mouth of Alexei should be. These are flat fangs, but drop a decent four inches from the rest of the mask (two inches remain on the face, and they appear to be etched into the mask). Between these fangs there are etching of what look like more carnivorous teeth, giving the appearance of a full mouth. The eyes are circular holes and they are the only openings in the mask.
Alexei cannot summon this mask, as he is not in control of his inner hollow. The amount of the mask made shows how much control Sablya Tigra has over Alexei's body. The mask always forms the top-right of Alexei's face down. The mask has never fully formed, which would mean full Hollowification.
Hollow Abilities
Garganta
- Description of Attack - Like hollows do, Sablya Tigra uses this technique to travel from one plane to another. The world of the living, Hueco Mundo, the Soul Society (if he wanted). Nothing really special about it.
- Limitation - Operates exactly like an Arrancar's Garganta.
Telekinesis
- Description of Attack - Using the mind, Sablya Tigra can manipulate Alexei's zanpakto. He usually steers it with his right hand and can sometimes assist it physically. (i.e. Letting go of it to make the blade hover and flicking it while hovering to make it begin spinning). Sablya Tigra prefers to use this ability while in Shikai as he prefers the cutting ability of the straight Cossack Kindjal to the katana of the sealed zanpakto.
- Limitation - Sablya can only move the zanpakto with his mind. He cannot manipulate other objects or people. He also must be within ten meters of the sword to control it. The sword does not move with immense speed either, it only moves slightly faster than Alexei could run without assistance.
Due to the control stemming from the mind, the sword cannot hold its ground against another sword. If the two were to lock up, Sablya Tigra would have to immediately retreat to the blade to prevent over-exertion of the mind. Also, there is not much force behind his cuts as the blade does not rely on Alexei's physical strength. Controlling the blade is mentally taxing, and leaves the body open to surprise attacks as all concentration is focused on the control of the sword.

Shikai Appearance
Alexei's Shikai takes the form of a Cossack Kindjal and its sheath. The sheath takes the place of his katana's old sheath, but due to its shape, Alexei doesn't use it block. The blade itself is forty inches long, with the hilt being an additional eight inches. However, two inches of the hilt is the pommel at the end.
The blade has a straight edge and the cutting edge with a curve that starts about six inches from the end of the blade. There are small markings on the blade, these symbolize nothing and are simply aesthetically pleasing.

Russian Winter
- Description of Attack - To begin this attack Alexei stands still and raises his sword to the side. He then concentrates his reiastu and a small ring of ice forms about six inches from his feet. From then on, every swing he makes with the sword causes ice to form and imitate that attack. The wave is a parabola-like shape, with the ends being rather jagged and disorganized, the wave is two feet in diameter, and its length is typically ten feet from end to end. For example, if he were to lunge, ice would form in a straight line from the edge of the ring and fly out to the limit of its range. On attacks that aren't as simple as a stab, the ice forms where he ranges it. For example, a horizontal slash would form where he pictures it and would materialize in the way he made the swing. The ice forms by using his reiastu to freeze the water vapor in the air.
The ice itself doesn't freeze anything it touches, although it would be cold if it were to touch skin. It mainly relies on the concussion from it hitting someone to deal most of its damage. This damage can cause concussions and massive bruising to those two or more tiers below him. It can inflict substantial bruising on those a tier below Alexei. To those on par with him, this would feel like a strong punch, nothing more. To any above him, this attack would feel like a weak smack, if that. The ice itself can also be easily broken by those above him in tier.- Type - Offensive/Defensive, Active
- Range - 20 meters
- Limitation - First and foremost, Alexei has yet to master this technique. He can only pull of about twenty attacks like this before his reiastu gives out and he loses Shikai. Theoretically, Sablya Tigra could use this power as he hollowified and increase this number. However, Sablya Tigra hates this technique as it relies too much on Ice Sobaka.
Another drawback is the fact that Alexei cannot move outside the ring. If he steps over the ring, or through it, it will shatter and he will no longer have the power. The breaking also applies if someone were to try to enter the ring. This does not penalize his amount of attack remaining, but it does present a big handicap in that he cannot avoid attacks and can only hope to deter them with the ice.

Alexei looked up at the sky and sighed. He had been walking all day. He was hungry...oh so hungry. However, there were no hollows in sight; he also couldn't sense any. Maybe watching some humans go about their lives would make him feel better. Maybe.
Sitting on a tree, Alexei felt a small buzzing noise coming from his skull. Oh wait, that was Eekay Sobaka.
"Heya Alexei! The hell you doin'? Nothin', that's what! Why dontcha go do somethin'? Hmmm? Gah! You're so damn boring!!!"
Alexei let out a small sigh to himself, cue Sablya Tigra.
"Hey there buddy! Why we go find a snack, you know you're hungry. Come on, come on! Let's go. We're gonna...get outta this tree. We're gonna...get outta this tree."
"Alexei's not hungry, quit being an idiot. He would much rather go watch some attractive young girls play tennis. Yes, yes he would."
Almost in protest, Alexei's stomach grumbled. Sablya let out a yell of euphoria, Eekay Sobaka just sighed slightly. Alexei decided not to give in...he wasn't in the mood to be disgusted with himself. He began to walk around, despite Sablya's protests. It had seemed Eekay Sobaka had calmed down. Maybe his zanpakto had realized how hard it was for him to cut back on his hollow consumption and was giving him a break. Probably not.
Alexei fixated on the back of this girl's head. She was a small thing, with light brown hair pulled back in two ponytails. She seemed to be wearing a school uniform, but that was strange. School was in right now. Maybe she was playing hookey? Oh well, not his problem. He continued to follow her around, it took his mind off things. She rounded a corner, and he saw a side of her face; she was rather beautiful.
Feeling a surge of confidence, Alexei decided to match her pace. She couldn't see him anyway. When he walked up to her side, he turned to look at her face and let out an involuntary gasp. The side he saw had been beautiful but the other side was horribly disfigured. Her right eye was swollen shut and black. Her cheek was blue and black from bruising and swelling. Around her neck was a red mark, it seemed to be from strangulation. Someone had hurt this girl. No, someone had beaten the shit out of her.
"Oh, hello". As she spoke, she turned and smiled at Alexei. He made sure there was no one behind him and looked back at her.
"You can see me?" She simply smiled and nodded, her ponytails bouncing as she did. "Does that mean that you're...dead?" The girl simply looked away, which meant yes. Alexei felt bad, it was obvious to see what had happened. You typically only kept the wounds that killed you as a plus.
"That's an odd get-up you wear." She said it, keeping her nice tone. Obviously she had come to terms with her untimely passing.
"Oh, I'm a Shinigami. At least...I was." Alexei looked at the ground, he didn't want to get in to all that now. Sensing this, the girl simply took his hand and led him to the park. She sat down on a park bench and patted the place next to her. Sitting down, Alexei noticed that she was about to speak.
"It was my dad...". Alexei must've had a curious look on his face, because she pointed at her bruises. He nodded and felt like even more of a horrible person. She proceeded to tell him about how her mother died and her father had to take up two jobs. She illustrated how the stress got to him, and he took it out on her. Eventually, she began hoping he would kill her; the pain just became too much. One night, she had asked him a question that prompted a beating. That had killed her. She looked up at Alexei and smiled slightly.
How could she smile? Her life was just...cut so short with no reason. She made him think of his own father. Had that happened to Sophia? No, his father was a great man, that was different. His eyes filled with sorrow, he wished he could help her.
"Alexei, you could always perform Konso." His face brightened. That he could. Alexei asked the lady for her name. It was Sakura.
"Sakura, how would you like to be released from this world? To pass on?"
"I would like that very much, but I've been dead for a while, I've almost given up on that."
"Just close your eyes."
