General Information
--------------------
Name: Neko Nyannyan
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance
If one were to simply focus on the outline of his body, one would get the very wrong impression that Neko is normal. He stands 5'10" and weighs 155 lbs. As such, his whole body has an average if not slightly slender look. He wears a size 11 shoe which is perfectly natural for someone his age if not slightly on the higher end of the spectrum. All of these factors would make him extremely easy to overlook were it not for the rest of his appearance.
First is his hair which is dyed red and allowed to flow about every which way. It is a little bit long for the taste of those around him (especially his father) but he denies these accusations. The red has come to symbolize a sort of passive aggression against society. It simply screams "Look at me; I'm an individual." Another aid to this is his red eyes. These aren't natural of course, and are color contacts. They too scream "Look at me; I'm an individual." His actual eye color is brown which is about as relevant as his actual hair color being the same.
Another aspect of his appearance that screams to be noticed is his manner of dress. He defies society by taking the outfit of the "corporate drone" and adding a very punk rock edge to it. He wears button-up short sleeve shirts yet always seems to find ways to make it very informal. The most often way he does this is to button things incorrectly and cause a disheveled appearance. He also accompanies this article of clothing with a tie of some sorts. The tie is usually ragged and torn all over, looking extremely punk rock. Neko wears tight jeans to accompany this as he finds them comfortable and fashionable. They also are less restricting in kicking, which is a large part of why he wears them. Finally, he wears a small cat necklace that had once belonged to a close friend of his (but more on that later.)
Another oddity in his appearance is the utter lack of body hair. He had none on his arms, legs, or chest. This is because he shaves it all off religiously as he refuses to be "on the same plane as an animal." It also makes his pale skin stand out against whatever he is beside. He is incredibly white which makes many speculate that he is an albino. This is simply a result of his wearing of long-sleeve clothes and staying inside most of his life.
A subtle difference between Neko and those around him is his teeth. All his teeth end in a point with the exception of his front incisors. It gives him a very carnivore look while eating. He detests this aspect of his appearance and desperately tries to hide this by never showing his teeth and eating in solitude whenever he can. The teeth are sharp enough that if he simply bites his tongue while eating it can easily pierce and cause a mild amount of blood.
Personality
Neko is quite possibly the embodiment of teenage angst. He has grown up seeing the worst parts of "the corporation" and authority. As such, he rebels against authority and doesn't give adults automatic respect. This does not mean that he simply refuses to respect adults, only that he feels they must earn it first. This leads to him not listening to pretty much anything in school which has resulted in him becoming somewhat of a juvenile delinquent.
He has become very outspoken in his time on the Earth. Neko flatly refuses to be ignored or cast aside. This further leads to make him a bit of a problem child as he is prone to outbursts in class. This is often coupled with his short fuse as he is quite comfortable yelling at anyone about anything in particular. He doesn't seem to care about whatever repercussions may come of his actions.
Due to his small exposure to their kind, Neko possesses a very derogatory view of women. He has only seen those who lie and cheat and has thus decided that all women must be this way and that all would simply take advantage of whatever kindness he would give them. Thus, he shows them only contempt and coldness whenever he deems it necessary to actually converse with them. Deep down, he feels that if he were to show them any sort of emotion or human decency that they would just use him for all his worth and then leave him. This stems from stories of his mother from his father which were entirely inaccurate.
Fitting in with his rebel persona, Neko has become an excellent tagger. He does graffiti quite often and his messages are typically revolutionary. He paints such things as "Down with government" and "Destroy the evil thing". With some basic evasion skills he has managed to avoid capture as graffiti is a "crime". With this, he has become very confident about the unlikelihood of his capture. He has rationalized that even if he were to be captured that his father would most likely just bail him out anyway.
Okay, now that all that surface stuff is out of the way, let's get to the actual Neko. He's grow up alone and for the most part has felt so abandoned by his mother that he was willing to believe everything his father told him about her. He also saw how poorly his father treated him because of the corporation where he worked and how miserable it made him. That is the reason for his apparent rebellions and his attitude towards authority and the corporations themselves.
He acts out because he knows that with every disappointment he brings his father he moves closer to his father giving up on him. He desperately hopes for this because he doesn't want to be pushed into eventually taking his father's position as a business tycoon. Neko wants desperately to become disowned and cast out by his father so that he doesn't have to feel guilty for accepting all of his father's gifts and money. He wants to be, in a sense, "his own man". This is the reason that he shaves his hair because he has confused becoming independent with becoming as non-animalistic as possible. This is also the reason why he hates using his powers.
There is a very good and confused reason as to why he does graffiti. Neko wants nothing more than to be an artist which is why he got started spray-painting "murals". They started as actual works of art but he made them devolve into simple revolutionary messages to try to disappoint his father. He still continues to paint in secret, however, as he knows that getting rusty could hurt his ability severely. This has become quite easier as he currently lives alone and doesn't have to hide his paintings as much as he would have to if he still lived with his father.
History
Part I-Parents
Neko's father (Rikuun) was born in a rather small village to what was a considerably poor family. As a young boy he was kind and rather generous with what little he had. As he matured, however, he became more and more obsessed with status and wealth. He began to become extensively greedy and obsessed with obtaining affluence. By the time he was twenty, he had opened a small business and was cutting corner left and right, sacrificing morality for easy money.
Neko's mother (Kai) was born to the same village and lived around his father. She grew up kind and stayed that way. She was a patient young woman who grew up generous and didn't care much about money. Kai was born with spiritual awakening and could see spirits her whole life. She was not really exposed to hollows as her village was so small and there was typically not a lot of deaths there. She had no powers and simply saw ghosts and listened to them. She found it a very spiritual thing and felt that there must be a reason behind her powers.
Rikuun and Kai began to date in high school when they were both fifteen. At this time, Rikuun was just beginning to descend into greed and self-obsession. Kai had seen him grow up as a young child and felt that this would pass and that it was simply a phase. She hoped that she could change him as they grew older. That is one of the main reasons as to why she agreed to marry him. She desperately hoped that she could revive the man who was once so kind.
Rikuun and Kai continued their married life as he began his reign as a business tycoon. It went from a string of small businesses to international franchises. As their affluence grew greater and greater their marriage became more and more strained. Eventually they didn't even talk to each other. Each morning he would leave after breakfast and return before the evening meal. Kai would stay there and tend to the house.
After a few years of this, Kai became pregnant. It was startling by how little this effected Rikuun. Seeing his very apathetic reaction, Kai considered simply leaving. On the day when she went to leave she saw her first hollow. It was looking for a tasty snack and had stumbled upon her. She began to run as it chased her. It scratched her along the back as she fell to her side. The Shinigami assigned to that area happened upon it and was able to kill it before any more damage could be done to Kai. The damage had already been done to the unborn Neko.
Kai didn't tell Rikuun about the attack. In fact, she had never mentioned her powers to him at all. She also kept secret that she had wanted to leave him. Kai was drained from the attack and (as if it were possible) her and Rikuun became even more distant. By the time it was time for Neko to be born. Kai's water broke and she called the doctor herself, not bothering to tell Rikuun.
Part II-Birth and Early Life(0-3)
Neko was born in the normal way. It was completely unremarkable other than the fact that the father was absent from the birth. Rikuun went to the hospital after work to see his son. Rikuun decided that young Neko would be the heir to his empire. He wasn't typically one for sentiment, but he made up his mind that it was important that he keep his son close to him in order to ensure that he could persuade him into taking up the mantle. After all, he would hate to see all his hard work in his empire go to waste.
Neko went home with his mother a couple days afterwards. As an infant, he was given pretty much everything. Rikuun paid for nearly everything a child could ever need. Kai spent her days taking care of him. It filled her days and it was pretty much all she could do. If Neko was ever crying Rikuun blamed Kai. He wanted to protect his interests and felt that she wasn't working hard enough as a mother. Due to this, Kai came to resent her child.
This resentment did not take any physical form but she became cold towards her child. She did not play with him and only tended to his needs. This drove her to the point of trying to slowly kill herself through starvation and overuse of vitamins. Finally, when Neko was two Kai left. She had decided that she had done her part for Neko and Rikuun and simply could no longer bear the responsibility of having to continue in such a role. She left no note, no indication of why she left. When he returned home, all Rikuun found was Neko fast asleep.
He did not have much of an emotional reaction at all. He simply hired a full-time nanny and a part time cook. He too did not give Neko much affection as he matured. He grew and grew but the most human interaction he ever got was from hired help.
During this time Neko began to see spirits of the departed. He really couldn't tell the difference between people that were dead and those that were living. However, at this time any attempts he made to converse with them was perceived as simple rantings to an imaginary friend.
Childhood Years (4-11)
During this period not a lot of interest really happened. He became a rather reclusive child and a depressing one at that. When the others at school asked why they never saw his mom he simply responded with "I don't have a mother." He knew that wasn't true because his father spoke about his mother to him often. None of the things Rikuun ever said about Kai were good, however. He mainly talked about how she left without a word and did nothing to see to the benefit of either of them.
Neko thus grew up not really trusting females. It wasn't really a problem because he was so average at the time. Brown hair, brown eyes. He seemed to simply blend in and didn't receive a lot of female attention. The only thing that ever became associated with him was "mediocre". To be the "Neko" of something was to be so unremarkable at it that it was worse than being horrid.
There was one subject, however, where he ceased to be mediocre. He showed an affinity for artwork. It was almost unsettling how well he could paint and draw. In actuality, drawing and painting was something he could do by himself which is why he could practice it often. He simply had a lot of experience working with a pencil or a brush. For once, he was not the "Neko" of something.
It was also during this time that his father began to put on the pressure of having to take up the reins after he left. He began coaching Neko in business after work and did what he could to keep his son happy. This included as many art supplies that the young child could imagine as well as his own room for his paintings. Rikuun, however, disapproved of the arts in general and felt that eventually he would have to ween his son from such a pointless habit.
By this time, Neko had learned to differentiate between people and ghosts. However, he didn't say anything because no one would listen to him. Being a reclusive child, he preferred to ignore the spirits as well. He didn't have anything in common with any of them and knew it. This also led to the turmoil that no one would ever truly be able to relate to him.
Part III-Early Teenage Years and Yuki (11-13)
As Neko entered junior-high he began to show some interest in the horror that was known as other people. He tried to make friends but no one wanted to hang around with the stupid rich kid. He became bitter towards them and almost signed off on other people. That was of course, until a girl about his age approached him.
"Hi, can I sit by you?" Neko looked up. It was art class and he had been working on something or another. As he scanned her over, he realized she must be new. He showed signs of annoyance visibly on his face. However, this did not discourage her in the slightest as she politely stood there with a small smile on her face.
"I suppose so." He looked at her black hair and grey eyes. He didn't ask her name. As soon as she learned the behaviors of the other children she'd most likely ignore him as well. However, she didn't know and simply sat down. She got to work as well. He would peek at her from over his work and find that she would be staring at him from over her work. Eventually he got very irritated with this. "Can I help you?"
"Your eyes are pretty."
"My eyes are brown...like everybody else's."
"They're still pretty. There's something about thing that makes you...deeper."
"Give it a week. You'll hate me. You'll hate me just like everybody else."
"Or maybe I'll hate all of them."
"Maybe."
"I'm Yuki."
"Neko."
"That's a pretty name."
"Whatever."
After that, it became a daily ritual that she would sit by him in every class they shared. Albeit, it was typically just art and lunch. She was pretty smart...and Neko just wasn't. They began a friendship; although, it was rather reluctant on Neko's part. They talked everyday and eventually she showed an interest in his life. He didn't trust her quite yet, but it was coming. When she wasn't pestering him with questions she was ranting on about herself. Apparently her parents were together and loved her very much. Well, that was just good for her.
Despite his reluctance, they did grow closer. It even reached the point where he would actually have meals at her house. Her parents liked him and even her cat tolerated him. The cat had a name but he never bothered to learn it. She began to borrow his clothes and they became what most would call an "item." Neko didn't like this terminology but that's what people called them.
Yuki had met his father only once. In that time he had called her names ranging from "temptress" to "whore." After that meeting it was decided she would never come back home with him ever again. However, in this time she learned about why he felt the way he did about people and women. They talked about his mother and Neko finally felt like someone understood him. He also told her what he had never told anyone before: that he could see spirits.
He had ignored this earlier in his life because he couldn't fully understand. By the time he could understand it he knew better than to talk to his father. He had suppressed it such that he didn't wish to even acknowledge it before. But now, he felt at ease. She had the same problem as well it seemed. It seemed as if all would get better from then on.
Part IV-Mid-Teen Years and Loss (14-16)
Everything changed when Yuki died. Everything. She died in a car accident. Her dad that was so perfect had been drunk behind the wheel. The worst part was that he had sustained no substantial injury. He had the arrogance to apologize to Neko. He also gave him Yuki's necklace. Neko had never much cared for cats before that point but now he found a strange attraction to them. He began to paint them. Constantly. Everyday like clockwork he would paints cats.
He had to buy supplies one day. Neko walked down the street until he saw something that looked familiar. It looked like Yuki. But, there was no way that could be true. He walked towards the place where he thought he saw her.
"Yuki."
She turned to face him. His fears were confirmed. It was her...but not her. She smiled at him and he saw the blood on the right side of her body that would never heal. He knew that she was a ghost now.
"Neko, I've missed you."
"I've missed you too. This...this isn't the way I wanted to see you."
She frowned at this. Moving closer to him, she tried to touch him. Her hand went through him and he shivered. It felt...so cold.
"I'm sorry. Do you want me to go?"
"No...I just. I just don't know what to do. What are we supposed to do?"
"Neko...I'm dead. There's not an awful lot I can still do. You've got life to live. I'm done."
"Am I just supposed to forget about you? Like nothing ever mattered?"
"That would be so much better for you. Go home. I'll meet you there."
"Ghosts can do that?"
"Of course."
"Alright. I will."
"Neko wait."
"What?"
"You were probably the best part of me."
"Don't be dumb."
"Okay."
With that, he left her. He walked with his supplies. He ignored whatever bothered him on his journey and simply continued to walk home. Deep inside, he couldn't wait to see Yuki again. He had missed her so much in the weeks since she had died. He didn't know what she wanted from him in terms of "moving on." All he knew was that he wore a small smile on his walk; that was all that mattered.
He neared his house and could tell something was wrong. He felt a horrible kind of presence. He looked around and saw something that was simply a monster. It was maybe ten feet tall with a white mask. The mask was in the shape of a fish's head and offset the brown body that was covered in extreme muscles. Neko wanted to just continue walking. He wanted nothing more than to simply continue walking. But, something caught his eye.
It was Yuki. She was running from the monster. The monster was gaining on her. He doubted she would last much longer. Dropping his supplies, he began to run after her. He ran as fast as his legs would carry him towards her. He had no clue what he would do if he got in between her and the monster. All he knew was that that was where he had to be.
In the end, he was too late. She got almost close enough to jump and touch Yuki when the monster grabbed her. The monster bit into her and began to devour her.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! YOU BASTARD!" He became enraged to the point of tears. This was more than he could handle. He felt a small spike of power within him. He didn't know that his reiastu was gathering within him. He also didn't know that this was the first time he was going to use his Fullbring.
His rage consumed him. He screamed out as he became covered in a white substance similar to what the monster's mask looked like. Neko noticed he had grown a tail and some long ass ears. However, that didn't register in his brain. The only thing that did was the animalistic desire to attack that monster. And he did. Neko slashed at his legs and jumped up to continually slash at his body. The monster hit him hard in the chest and he flew back into the street. He tried to pick himself up to fight, but couldn't. The monster opened a hole in the sky and retreated into it. Neko couldn't save the one he cared about the most; he couldn't even avenge her. Life was pretty shitty.
Part V-Present
Since that occurrence, Neko has changed physically. He dyed his hair almost immediately ensuing that event. He just didn't feel that he should keep the hair that had been through everything with Yuki. He wanted to start a new chapter; he wanted to be a new person. He changed his eyes too with color contacts. This makes him look like a punk; which is the identity he has assumed. The "new" Neko doesn't just fade into the background; he takes the limelight.
To cope with his new attitude, his father has sent him to study in Karakura Town to finish high school. He lives in a rather large apartment by himself. For food and whatever else he wants, he has a credit card in his father's name without a spending limit. Also, he has changed his primary method of painting. He no longer paints on canvas. Instead, he uses graffiti to get his talent across. He hasn't been caught yet, but knows that his father would pay him out if he were to be caught.

Powers

(OOC: I ask that his powers count as a transformation like Shikai. Thus, when he's not using them he's a tier below his full potential.)
Spiritual Awakening
Neko has been spiritually awakened since birth. However, until his exposure to Yuki he has generally just gotten the chills around them. Following her death he was able to see and hear spirits as well as slightly be able to detect reiastu (he's really bad at it.) He tries not to let all the spirits bother him though they can sometimes get annoying.
Discovery of Powers
After Yuki died he received her little cat necklace that she always wore as "she would've wanted him to have it." When he saw the hollow that devoured her spirit his reiastu flared up and the he first underwent his transformation. Since the necklace was the only thing he ever had of Yuki it was the fixation of his rage. He took the appearance of a human-sized hollow cat (his full appearance is described below).
Fullbring
--------------------
Fullbring Name: Chixyokuritsuneko
Translation - Upright Cat
Fullbring Appearance
The white substance that typically makes up a hollow's mask completely envelops Neko. The substance then begins to make his appearance rather cat-like. His head becomes almost completely circular and it grows in size such that increases about twenty-percent. His eyes glow red in the whole such that the practically ceases to have pupils and irises. These eyes do allow him to see in the dark but make him extremely sensitive to bright lights.
Neko also obtainshuge assears (sixteen inches long). They are pointed like that of a cat but are extremely thin and long, almost seeming to resemble Batman. These ears increase his ability to hear but make him extremely susceptible to loud noises to the point that he can be extremely debilitated. He curls up and passes out if he hears any noise that has a volume level of higher than 115 decibels.
Another cat-like quality is the claws that he obtains on each finger. They are perfectly circular leading up to a point on each finger. The claws protrude five inches past the tips of where his fingers would be underneath the hollow-mask substance. These claws are a little harder for him to manage than his fingers due to the sheer length of them. He has become somewhat adept at using them, however.
The final cat-like quality of this transformation is his tail. It is eighteen inches long with a slight curl towards the end. This tail waves back in forth in a very comical fashion. It will remain motionless if Neko becomes seriously injured. His feet are not transformed like his hands are. They are simply covered in the substance and given very cartoon-like indentations and rounded toes.
Fullbring Item
Neko's Fullbring Item is the cat-necklace that Yuki left for him following her death. He wears it around his neck and it has a small silver cat that hangs in the center. It fits rather tight on his neck and doesn't really have a lot of wiggle room. If someone were to pull it, Neko would surely choke and lose oxygen due to how tight it is around his neck. He rarely takes off this necklace (he only removes it for bathing purposes.)

Abilities, First Stage
--------------------
Chixyokuritsuneko
- Description of Attack - Neko takes the form that is described above in his Fullbring section. While in this form, Neko comes to his full potential in speed, strength, and endurance. He also gains superhuman senses which can be a drawback as well as a power.
- Type - Transformation
- Range - Self
- Limitation - Neko can only hold this form for five minutes. This is a result of him not practicing with it because he purely hates the technique. He possess no special abilities like a special attack or anything of the like. The transformation only brings him to his full potential and gives him cat-like senses. These senses make him more vulnerable to anything extreme, however. Any volume greater than 115 dB can seriously hurt him to the extent of the transformation ending. Bright lights can cause temporary blindness. Horrid odors can only really cause severe discomfort, however.
The substance that covers him is only a bit more durable than skin. It is no hierro by any means and can be cut through with little difficulty. This results in him simply having a second skin instead of an armor. If something that is an add-on (like his tail_ were to get cut, it would simply fall off appropriately (and hurt like a bitch). Neko feels every bit of damage done to the skin and has to put up with it.

Sample Post
--------------------
There was a familiar sound in that back alley. It was the sound of a rattle, followed by a buzz. This sound would continue for hours if uninterrupted. What was this mysterious sound that filled this desolate alley at this hour? Oh yeah, it was Neko spraying his graffiti how quaint. But wait, graffiti is against the law you say? Does Neko know this? Yes, yes he does.
He had been working for a while now. He took a step back from his work and lowered the painter's mask that he currently wore. "I need more on the left side, it's not even yet." He was currently painting a mural of the oppressed teens rising up and striking down their oppressors. It was like his usual work, nothing really special to it. What was needed on the left was a bit of balance. It wouldn't look right if it was too unbalanced; you needed a fair amount of oppressors.
He continued working and didn't notice when the girl had entered the alleyway. Neko did notice when she started breathing down the back of his neck. A small vein popped out in his neck as he turned around irately. "The hell is your problem?"
"It looks so pretty. What does it stand for?"
"It stands for 'Go the hell away, dumb girl.'"
"You're not very nice, you know that?"
"Yeah, and you're not very smart bitch. Leave me alone."
That was apparently the wrong thing to say. She smacked him across the face so hard that his mask kind of slid to the side. It was rather annoying that she hit him so hard. He took a step towards her, menacingly. She didn't recoil like she was supposed to. What a dumb bitch. Couldn't even be terrified right.
"You're damn lucky that I'm in a good mood. Get away before I break you bitch."
She stormed off and cursed his very soul. Neko didn't care. She was just a girl who would, at the very least, hurt him somehow. All the good girls died with Yuki. He picked back up the can that he had dropped when she slapped him. He shook it and continued with his work.
