With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
With a noise only discernible to those with any form of spiritual awareness, a black gateway opened horizontally, and Leocha Novawurrei was the first of the four appearing figures to step out of the Garganta. A huge arrogant smile filled the area between the pseudo-teeth of what was left of his mask as he drifted down toward the ground of the fairly quiet street. It was night time in this portion of the human world, and the full moon reminded him of his home desert.
They were here looking for some fun to alleviate boredom, and he tasked himself with providing the means right away. Leave it to the arrogant one to create some mischief, and you never know what you'll get. He brushed a big hand through his spiked black hair and landed near a rather flashy human vehicle. It was a metallic-green car with gold trim, rims, and painted flames across the hood, and a human male was just climbing behind the wheel and turning the key in the ignition as Leocha's grin spread wider.
With a flash, the 6'10" tall Arrancar towered over the open top of the vehicle and grabbed the unsuspecting man, separating soul from body and devouring quickly. The empty mortal shell was tossed aside, and Leocha hopped into the seat behind the wheel. The engine hummed in the hood, and he pressed his foot to each of the pedals. A loud roar from one, a flash of lights from the other, but no movement.
"How the hell does this work?" He growled and noticed the strange stick that seemed to be able to move beside him. There were letters for each position, and he was in "P" now. He moved the stick back to "N" and depressed the first pedal. Another roar, but no movement. Then he tried "R". Movement! Backwards, and a crunch as he struck the vehicle behind him. A loud curse, and he shifted to "D".
"AH-HA! That's better!" He cried as the vehicle moved forward with a jerk. This pedal was to go, the other must be to stop. A jerky test to be sure, and he called out to the others. "Get in, let's go for a spin!"
He hit a button in the center console out of curiosity, and grinned even more as music surrounded him. Catchy tune...

Nnoitra Jiruga was the second one out of the garganta. His rather Cheshire grin upon his face. He had brought his fraccion to the world of the living on the hunt for some......prey. But he wouldn't just be satisfied with any prey. Only the strongest would please him. Nnoitra was a little annoyed that one of his fraccion took it upon himself by taking the lead. But, he would punish him for that later. For now they would hunt. Nnoitra was a little confused when his fraccion randomly ate a person and took there care. He then watched as his fraccion proceeded to try and "drive" the car. After he crashed into the car a annoyance began to bubble in Nnoitra. But just in time the fraccion member manage to get it right.
Nnoitra didn't see why they needed a car but, whatever at least he could use his full potential when they did eventually find someone. He walked over the car and towered over the car even more than Leocha, if only by 2 and 1/2 inches. Nnoitra went around the car getting into the passenger side in the back. He then proceeded to lean back and put his feet on the seat. He might as well be comfortable. "Well what are you waiting for a invitation you two? GET IN," he said rhetorically and yelling at the end.
----------------------------------------------
Jericho Cross was the third one to exit the garganta right behind Nnoitra. He was astounded that Leocha had not bypassed only one but two of his betters. Who did he think he was? But, since Nnoitra let it go Jericho would have to swallow his pride but just this once. On the plus side, he got some enjoyment at watching the few failed attempts of him trying to drive. He then watched as Nnoitra got into the car and jumped when he told him to get in. Jericho walked around the car as well and got into the front passenger seat. After all he didn't want to be in the way of the espada and his prey.
Jericho rolled down the window and then hung his arm out. He began using his pesquisa to find someone for his espada and maybe he would find someone else for himself. "Martin! Move your scaley ass," Jericho shouted trying to get the last arrancar in the car so they might please Nnoitra sooner. Jericho wasn't really a fan of the other too but his espada is someone he inspired to be.
Martin Alvarez was the fourth and final arrancar to exit the Garganta. Closing the garganta behind him as he went, seething at Leocha inside his mind. While Jericho was just another Fraccion, even if somewhat stronger than the lion, he had disrespected Nnoitra-sama by going on ahead without the Espada's permission. At least he got what he deserved when he failed utterly at starting the... what was the name of the human's vehicles again? Wagon? Toboggan? Or did it begin with a c...
Jumping as Jericho called, he ran to the thing, whatever it was. Opening the door on the other side of Nnoitra in the back, he slipped in. "...What is that noise?" h asked, shivering a little. It was a cold night, and he didn't like the cold at all. He took his sheath off his back and laid it across his lap to get more comfortable, before starting to scan the the surroundings for something that might entertain Nnoitra-sama.
Leocha ignored the glares of the other fraccion and his Espada as the vehicle rolled at a leisurely pace down the road. They needed some fun, to be sure, but for now he was content to enjoy the rumbling of the engine and the blaring music. Who knew that driving could be so much fun? The human world had a lot of subtle things to offer, and he wondered briefly why anyone would ever want to leave. Plenty of souls to be had, though most not worth much, and these delightful machines.
He was rather proud of himself, for a first time driver, he wasn't hitting anything. The wheels groaned in protest as the car hopped the curb and began moving along the wide sidewalk. Chairs and tables were pushed aside as they drove in front of a small cafe, and Leocha just laughed.
"Lighten up, everybody. The fun will arrive soon. Filthy Shinigami can never resist a group of Arrancar, and at least we get to ride in style."
He laughed once again. The Lion Arrancar was having a blast, and her proved it by gunning the engine as they flew off the sidewalk and back onto the street. It was deserted this time of night, which would make them all the more easy to find, when the Shinigami decided to show.
All they needed was some victims, and their night would be complete.
He noticed a curious-looking switch next to the stick in the center, and flipped it, only to laugh even harder as the car began to bounce lightly on its front tires. This machine was marvelous!
(OOC: Ok, because sooo many ppl have signed up to join the thread im gonna open the floodgates as soon as Shiki posts. I mean good lord we have made it to like 25-30 charries but this thread will still be open to more ppl.)
Nnoitra was bored. He was tired of waiting to fight even though they had just gotten there. He looked around at his fraccion. None of them were all that intimidating nor strong in his eyes. Nnoitra began to close his eyes and sleep. His fraccion would most likely let him know when there was an opponent worth while anyway. He began dreaming about the pain he would inflict and the possible opponents he would face. Maybe he would meet that captain again but he thought this was unlikely.
-----------------------------------------
Jericho was not nearly as interested in cars as Leocha. But at least the music was relatively good. His pesquisa couldn't quite pick anything up yet which he found rather annoying. Oh how he wanted to stretch his legs and put some weaklings in there place. Or maybe he would even get to fight a strong opponent if Nnoitra didn't take them all. Jericho supposed Leocha was right, the fun would most likely arrive soon. This put a smile on his face and he chuckled a little under his breath. This was gonna be fun, no matter how it was gonna end up.
"Let us crush all who cross are path and show them the meaning of true despair as they fall under are feet," he said maniacally. He was pumped now and was ready for anything, or so he thought. For he did not know of the potential numbers that were going to appear that day. Some friend, some foe, and others who knew there intention.
Getting no response to his question, Martin simply rolled his eyes. There was no helping it. As the weakest, he would get no respect from the others, no matter how useful he managed to be in every other area. He had gotten used to his fact of life as an arrancar, but he didn't have to enjoy it.
That said, being ignored didn't change the fact that there was a job of importance to do. Keep a look out for anyone or anything of importance, or that could provide a decent challenge for Nnoitra-sama. Even if such a thing wouldn't result in recognition, it was important. Right about then, the car began bouncing like a demented oll coaster ride. 'Well, at least that has some use.' Martin thought sourly. 'We'll attract the attention of even the most oblivious Shinigami.'
Looking over at Nnoitra-sama who was sitting beside him, Martin shivered a little for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with the cold. If Nnoitra-sama was already impatient, then maybe it was a good thing that they had done this now instead of later. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been long before the Espada in charge of his life would have gone from merely abusive to murderous.
'Hm?' he thought to himself. He had sensed someone else. A group of someone elses, to be exact. The spiritual presure of those in the car covered it up somewhat, sort of like a haze, but the lighthouse still showed through dimly. “Nnoitra-sama? Can you feel that?” Martin asked.
(Martin senses random people. Specifics are not there, so anyone can fill the void. GOOOOOOOOOOOOO.)
"Feh." A pair of red eyes could see what was going on already. He hadn't been back to Soul Society recently, not wanting to, especially after he'd expressly admitted it to Samuii that he was planning on defecting. But when? When was it going to happen? He sighed softly, and leaned back against a tree that overlooked the scene.
"Heh... Looks like something's going down... Something big, maybe?" He recognised one Reiatsu source in the mix - Jericho. He sighed and shook his head; maybe he'd interfere... Seeing as he had to cut their fight short last time. Maybe this time, he could actually keep some of his sanity. As long as he didn't have to worry about Samuii, and as long as she wasn't on his mind for this, he'd be fine.
He'd stay on the side of the Shinigami for this fight, to keep up appearances that he was still somewhat loyal to them, and hopefully circumstances wouldn't change.

It was a cool, clear night, and Mikhail was heading back home down a nearly empty street. He'd probably worry his mother sick, having run out late to stop by a store before it closed. For weeks now, he had gone out many times to play his violin in the park, or shopping areas, because there was something special he had been saving his money to get. A gift that he now held in his arms as he walked, the box only a little smaller then a toaster. He was pretty pleased with it, and hoped that the person he was giving it to, would be as well.
Mikhail stopped suddenly beneath a flickering streetlight, his hazel eyes gazing skyward, as a cold wind rushed past and ruffled his windswept, brown hair. He reached up to brush it back, just as the gust was followed by this sickly ominous feeling, that seemed to press down on him. Mikhail himself being no good at feeling out spirits, the only thing he had to go on, was that a moment later the breath he released came out as a wisp. His own tell-tale way of knowing that a spiritual being was present, but gave no indication of who or where. It could be within a few blocks for all he knew, but whatever it was didn't feel good.
Thinking fast, he decided to hide the box among some well kept bushes, nestling it in the greenery near the ground. The inside was padded too, but probably not enough to withstand a fight.
His hands slid into his black jacket's pockets, withdrawing the fighting gloves his sensei had given him. He made it a habit to keep them with him, just in case. Metallic blue with black outlines, and a picture of a wolf on the back, he strapped the gloves on quickly, and clenched his fists. The streetlight overhead flickered over his features as he turned to look down alleyways and the street itself.
An engine roared not far off, and loud music blared as suddenly, he caught sight of a bouncing hoopty, flying down the street a few blocks away. It was all over the road, and up on the sidewalk. Street signs, chairs, and tables went flying as it barreled through, and Mikhail blinked in shock. He shook his head, then ran down the alleyway to get a closer look. The boy stopped at the mouth of the alley, and watched the car head further down the road with what looked like four men in the seats. One hand rested on the brick wall beside him, as he wondered if they had seen him as they passed.
((OOC NOTE - The gift box in the bushes is fair game, but woe to the one that breaks it! LOL))

A lesser creature wandered absently through the streets of Karakura. Green hair, red eyes, an overall raggedy little girl, Kaki merely needed a break from the usual scenery of mountains, trees, and rocks. The city provided an escape from the all too familiar scene of wind rustling the trees below, the clouds floating not too far overhead, and the occasional hiker.
It provided a new kind of forest, only instead of mountains and fauna, it provided concrete and steel. Glass and streetlights. Even a few people wandered the streets before vanishing within their city homes, or driving away.
Upon attempting to cross a street, however, Kaki was caught like a deer in headlights. She stepped halfway into the middle of the road before the rustling of her clothing showed an unnatural motion that was not from typical wind. Turning to an oncoming light, Kaki screamed. "OH SHIT!"
Staring at the car as though she were incapable of motion, Kaki took several seconds before doing the very first thing that came to mind: getting hit by the car.
It was a spectacular sight, really, instead of crumbling against the metal or flattening against the street like a pancake, she rolled over the hood of the car and smacked face first into the windshield. Like a child pressing their face against the glass, Kaki's face was extraordinary! Somehow she'd managed to cross her eyes, scrunch up her nose, and press her tongue against the glass.
To top it all off, her scarf flew around the car and waved like a gallant flag over the heads of the inhabitants.
"I can't feel my face!" Kaki attempted to say, though because her face was so flattened at the moment it sounded more like, "Mmmph! Mm-fammph!"
A full moon hung in the night sky, fitting almost perfectly into the scenery. Senji was out for a walk in the night sky and tonight was a great night for a walk. He happened to love full moons so the fact there was one out made him smile. Senji hadn't been thinking much as he walk not even paying attention to where he was going.
He did happen to notice something peculiar, a familiar face. But that was not what was peculiar but the fact this person was placing a object into a bush. "Now why in the world would he do that" Senji asked himself. He moved toward the bushes to discover a box Senji smirked and decide to leave it be. He was going to mess with it but figure it must have had a special reason.
Senji want to know why he had left the box there, but before even think about it. He felt a couple different spiritual pressures one was engraved into his memory. "Jericho" he said with as much disdain as possible. Senji suddenly that the person that left the box was heading in that direction he decide he would give the person some assistance.
So Senji headed in the direction he had saw the person go, still wonder who it could be and why they were headed for trouble.
