Rin looks like your average high school girl, standing at 5 feet 4 inches. She has long dark brown flowing hair that's parted to the right side with side bangs matching her brown eyes. She's 115lbs, and is slim but strong. Her skin is fair and clear, with small scars every now and then on her arms and legs from training. In the Soul Society, Rin usually wears the normal attire for Shinigami. She also usually places her zanpakuto on her left side so she could easily take it out with her right hand.
When in her Gigai form, she wears a green school uniform, and looks like a high school girl. She also wears a long stylish jacket, with her uniforms and seems to always look serious. At special occasions, she'd wear other things depending on the occasion and always seems to wear a necklace with something red glowing in the pendant that's hanging from it. Some say she keeps her power in that necklace and that's why it glows, but to Rin it's just something she wears that is appearently a part of her style. The zanpakuto itself in her gigai form is invisible to normal human eyes, but Rin usually keeps her zanpakuto at her side at all times.
Personality
Ever since the few years of the beggining of her life, Rin has been known to be a fairly happy person that could never be struck down, not even by lightning. Living the life of happiness and luxury with the ones she loved were the only things she needed. But after her 6th Birthday, everything had changed. Rin's parents were killed, and she was left all alone. That's when all the negatives of her life started to kick in.
The loss of her parents had really shocked Rin, and since she was only a child, her mother's cruel sister had to care for her. Being all alone, her aunt wasn't of any help. She turned Rin into an unhappy child, and later when she was 17 and old enough to leave with all of the money she had gained from her parent's deaths, her aunt killed her before she could go.
Appearing as a soul, Rin became more confused than ever before, and a darkness started to shower over her soul. All of the sorrow, lonelyness, and then hate was finally starting to take over, covering her injured heart with a shell of negativity. But before anything could happen, a stranger had gone and sent her to a place called the Soul Society.
After years of becoming skillfull in the use of her Reiryoku from the Academy, she had learned to forget all the negativity and cheer up a little. Though Rin has been known to be harsh at times, and seem rather cruel. She has actually had a hard time showing people that she cares. Even though careless problems don't affect her ability to make many friends, for she's very friendly but cautions herself when anyone tryes to get to close to her. She keeps everything to herself, from secrets to problems, and never tries to get any advice or help.
In order to keep everything to herself, and decieve everyone of anything going on, she puts up a good act. To everyone outside of her own little shell, Rin seems like a very friendly and happy person with the problem of always getting into trouble. But the ugly truth is, is that she's very unhappy and is filled with loneliness and anger. Her act keeps everyone fooled, for her competitiveness and love for chocolate and bread are the only thing keeping her intact.
Due to certain times and experiences within the Seireitei, Rin has learned to approach strangers more openly no matter who they are. As social standing goes, Rin hasn't made many friends or acquaintences since she's easily been grouchy, lazy, and in an uncaring mood. A lot probably has to blame on her addiction to sake in which one of the captains, not naming who, has introduced her to. Morning hangovers from sake has made her extremely not in a morning person. She's also been making more mischievous plans just to steal hidden stashes of sake.
Still able to quarrel more than ever before, she's been known to get really fired up when it comes to an argument. She hasn't done much to hold her tongue, so on certain occasions, she becomes really rude and unruly. Although Rin hasn't mattured much internally, she's learned to suck up a bit when she knows she's gone overboard. Not much for appologizing or complimenting though, Rin has shown improvement on the topics although they're very reserved and barely audible.
History
Life
When Rin was born, she was born in a high life of happiness and luxury. But to little of her understanding, that life soon ended. As her 6th Birthday had come and gone, so did her parents. Both her mother and father were shot straight on the head with no chance of survival. According to the investigations, it was clearly a murder, but with no murder weapon or any suspects there was no chance of justice.
Left alone and forgotten, her mother's sister had to gain custody of little Rin. Rin's aunt was pleased to take her in, but for only one reason, the money. Her aunt was cruel to her during the next 11 years of her life, and mainly treated Rin like a dirty dog that needed to be thrown away. By then, Rin had grown accustomed to her aunt's cruelty and grew cold and strong. Having all the friends that she's made during her high school life, she had decided to leave her aunt at the beggining of her senior year and move in with one of them. Rin had everything planned, and with the use of some of her parent's money, she would have no trouble getting by. But as soon as she got done packing and had papers ready to transfer the money, Rin's aunt called her up for a meeting in the room that her parents were found killed.
Rin had no idea what was comming, and with freedom so close at hand, she didn't mind saying some last goodbyes to the evil lady that took care of her. Her aunt was sitting on a luxurious chair as Rin walked right in, she stood up and walked to Rin with both hands behind her back as if to inspect her. An evil smile on her aunts face, and as she got closer she pulled a gun from behind her. Pointing straight at Rin, she had no idea what to do. There was no way to run without getting shot, and it was very unlikely for her to get out of this alive.
"Any last words?" she had said, as she pulled the trigger. Rin quivered as she knew her freedom was slipping away. She was too scared to move, and frozen in place. "Well," her aunt sighed "say "hi" to your parents for me, and that the money will be well used." She had said, and as Rin was about to take a breath to speak, she had shot her straight in the head.
Death
There, Rin had left her body behind, and as a confused soul of what was going on ran out the door. She cried and cried as her form just slipped through the living people that walked by. As her tears finally had started to dry up, she let all the negative energy around her flow out. All of the sorrow, lonelyness, and then hate was finally starting to take over, covering her injured heart with a shell of negativity. As she started to feel herself change into something that wasn't her, she felt a gentle had placed on her shoulder. She couldn't believe it, someone could actually touch her in this spiritual like form. Looking up, a man in strange clothing had told her that he was a Shinigami, and explained to her that she would go to a happier place in the Soul Society. Rin wasn't sure is should trust him, but seeing that he knew more than herself on such scomplications as she was in, she allowed him to set her soul free and to the Soul Society.
Soul Society
Rin had awoken to a new world, it was Rukongai District 78 Inuzuri. She had no idea of what had happened, but then she soon realized that she was in the Soul Society like what the Shinigami had said. 'A Shinigami' she thought, 'I wonder what that is'. After time passed by in Rukongai, Rin had found out enough information on Shinigami and the Seretei. She even found random kids that could perform some abilities of their own with Reiryoku.
Later as years had passed, Rin had found a way to get into the Shinigami Academy. She trained hard with others who had spiritual abilities even though the school like life bored her, and she later learned that she was very talented with the use of Kido. But unfortunately for Rin, she had poor aim and with very powerful kido, it equaled to a lot of destruction. After a lot of practice and training, she had finally gained good aim and still kept things in high power.
When her training in the Academy had come to an end, she was placed in the a Division. On her first mission to kill some easy prey hollow, Rin had separated herself from her group and went off on her own. Trouble had first started when she realized that the mission was over and that everyone had gone back to the Sereitei. Then, after moments of doing nothing but wondering around the city, a hollow appeared before her wanting to eat her. But to her amusement she just thought of the hollow as a competition of who could kill who first.
Rin was obviously in danger then, the hollow wasn't just an easy picking, and she had to fight it to the death. After getting hits after hits, Rin was wearing down. She panted for more oxygen as her body lost more blood. Rin was starting to get really fed up with things and she started to release Reiryoku around her even though she was running out. She placed her zanpakuto back where it belonged, and feeling cornered, she felt the same feeling she had felt before she first met a shinigami.
Her panting became heavier as she was trying to gain control over herself. A few flashes past her as she through she was going to faint, but a crocked and evil smile came into picture and then later vanished. Rin shook her head to get things together, and looked at the about to attack hollow. It roared at her face, and Rin quickly concentrated as much energy as she could on her palm. She chanted something quickly, but was too low for someone two feet away to hear. Then, as the hollow attacked Rin released a powerful Shakkaho at its face. As the attack created a little diversion throwing the hollow back, Rin quickly grabbed her zanpakuto and slashed at the hollow.
Luckly for Rin, she was able to defeat the formidable enemy, for a beginner like her. And to all that, she did it on her own. Unfortunately, Rin had been pretty beatened up and collapsed on the ground from the loss of blood. Looking away from where she layed, she noticed a group of people approaching her, but her vission was too blurry to see who it was, and by the time they got close enough, she pased out.
Rin later, awoke in a room with bandages around her wounds. She also noticed that there were people by the door of the room. They were obviously guarding it since Rin seems to run off into danger when no one's looking. After her injuries had healed up, she was lectured by the other higher ups in her district, and from then on she wasn't allowed to venture out on her own.
More years had passed and Rin learned to not be so troublesome. But the girl would always be trouble, and make trouble. She was able to surpass many of her comrads from her skill with kido and just from her sheer competitiveness to get ahead of everyone. After her little trip with the hollow on her own, she was known to be very strong for a newby and a strong Shinigami.
When the incidents with Aizen occured, Rin didn't really take part in any of it. She would've created more problems than helped solved them. So she sat out for most of it, just doing what she usually does and advancing higher from the rest. Then, a mission to the Human World came up. It had been a fairly long time since she'd gone and needed something to do. So she went.
That was the mission that would change everything to the way she looked at things. As she arrived back in the Human World with her team to eliminate random hollows that had been stirring up trouble, Rin decided to just leave the hollow business to them. Defeating a couple hollows would be far too easy for her now, so she just went away from everyone.
She appeared at a park, and saw a rather large hollow trying to devour the soul of a little girl. Rin didn't want to do anything involving hollows, but she had to do her job when it came to souls. So Rin went in and attacked, just to find herself with a splitting headache and odd flashes appearing before her. The little girl screamed as the hollow's mouth went to work. Rin quickly leapt in the air and slashed through the hollow, but another flash of pain surged through her head.
She saw images of what looked like her, but more evil, and with red eyes. Rin just looked at it in shock, realizing she wasn't in the park anymore. It was like someone was doing this on purpose, and toying with her. Rin concentrated and was ready for a bloody battle, when the one she was facing said. "Don't you just want to let loose? Don't you just want to kill them? Kill them all?!" it said to her. "Huh?" Rin said as she looked at it. A screech filled the air as Rin just went for the kill.
All she could remember afterward, was the face of her enemy, which was no where to be seen. She was in the park again, blood splatered everywhere. She was so confused and so tired, and shadows were starting to appear infront of her. "Wow, you sure are a powerful one aren't yah?" A voice said, but Rin was having trouble standing up and seeing. And that was the day, that Rin became a Vizard.
After awaking on the side of the road, she heard the others calling and went to join them. But something stuck on her head. Information she appearently remembers, but doesn't remember who gave her the information. Rin didn't know what to do, so she just ignored everything and pretended she napped the whole time on the mission. From that day, she took in the information and used it when she wanted, but never told anyone for whenever she meets a very strong apponent, she can just use her knowledge to her advantage.
Through her time in the Seireitei and traveling to and from the World of the Living, Rin has undergone several experiences. From becoming a drunk along with other sake lovers, to being more openly rude to the people around her; she seemed to be on a personal and social decline.
During her spent time in the world of the living, Rin has tested her abilities with her captain and another squad member in vigorous training. Through vicious hollow attacks and the random arrancar appearances; she’s learned to fight better with her zanpakuto and kido. On that day, Rin had made her vizard appearance just to find out that her captain knew about it the whole time. As for the other member, his whereabouts are unknown. She was surprised to learn that someone other than herself knew, and since then, she decided to go on leave to rethink things through. (It’s not a super long leave… this is when I was absent…)
About a year had past in the world of the living and Rin returns to the Seireitei. Although time in the two worlds aren’t exactly the same, when she returned it seemed that there were significant changes. First of all, was that she couldn’t find her captain anywhere she went. A lot of members that she had knew or met either died off in the line of battle or left in general. Nothing significant changed view-wise, but she felt as if things did change. Amatsutori and Uchite would be some of the things to put on the list of changed. Amatsutori is as rowdy as ever and doesn’t seem to respect Rin as much but doesn’t complain. On the other hand, Uchite totally ignores her unless she makes sudden battle appearences. Rin guessed the leave might’ve been good for her, but it didn’t earn any respect from the two that accompanied her.
As usual, she wondered around not sure what to do. She met a few just graduated Academy students and others. No one that was familiar. She was surprised she didn’t go have a drinking return party with other drunks, not that she could find any.
Eventually she found herself doing a patrol mission in Karakura Town. There she met a man that was supposedly from his squad. To her he was just some stranger and in the end they got in an argument about rapists and ugly people. Here, she apparently had hurt his feelings, and after a conversation in her head with Amatsutori, she had come to apologize. Doing something that wasn’t in her best interest of doing, she had learned to lower herself down enough to apologize. Even though it is a constant struggle, she is now evolving more emotionally and learning understand and deal with people better. And through what she knows, Rin feels that if she’s able to deal with her own problems, that she’ll be able to fully control Uchite’s powers.

Name: Amatsutori no Houka
Translation - Heavenly Bird of Fire
Unreleased Appearance
Amatsutori no Houka is a black sword with gold diamonds. It's cover and handle are both rapped with cotton cords. It's blade length is 27.5 inches while its overall length is 40 inches. The Handle is long enough for two hands to hold and is light enough to swing around at full force. The blade is extremely sharp and capable of cutting some of the thickest and hardest substances out there. It's case is black with a cotton cloth tied to it covering a gold diamond close to the entrance of it.

Name: Amatsutori
Gender: Male
Spirit Appearance
Amatsutori is a large powerful raptor like bird. It's feathers are a fiery red, making it seem like it's on fire. At times, Amatsutori covers itself in its fire in protection and in a display of beauty. He also has a large wingspan that can overtake two skyscrappers because the fire it controls can increase it's size. When around Rin though, Amatsutori stays in a smaller form looking like a large peregrine falcon perched on Rin's shoulder.
Personality
Amatsutori is a very serious and wise bird, who's very old in age but young in appearence. He's very inteligent and knows a lot about things that he shouldn't know about. His seriousness can sometimes bore Rin, so Rin taught him how to become rather tricky and as troublesome as herself. He eventually learned to relax and become a little more upbeat, and is sometimes perverted. His pervertedness is what gets him into trouble with Rin, since Rin is a girl and Amatsutori is a guy. Other than that, he's very protective towards his master and would usually call her, Lady Rin as if she was of royalty even though it's mainly because she would be his higher up. But as time went by, Amatsutori has stopped addressing Rin as Lady Rin and gotten to a more familiar level with her. On rare occasion, will he refer to Rin as Lady Rin. It is unknown why he has suddenly stopped but it's probably due to Uchite's inconvenience.
Relationship to Master
Amatsutori is Rin's zanpakuto spirit, and close friend. They often get into trouble together, and have their own little fights aswell. Amatsutori's pervertedness to the opposite sex is what gets him into real trouble since Rin could never take her zanpakuto with her into bath houses and such places without having to watch out for him. Other than his pervertedness, Amatsutori highly respects Rin from everything she went through and the two are of the best of friends. Both make a really good team since neither constantly annoy each other.
As of late, Amatsutori has been nagging and annoying Rin; probably to keep her attention so that Uchite cannot interfere. Although still a pervert and a wise guy, he's been helping his master master herself by giving advice and encouraging her for change. He doesn't especialy love having Uchite around as company, so whenever Rin gets frustrated or flustered, Amatsutori has been giving advice to reform her closed heart. He feels that if she were to open up around people and learn to trust them, that Rin will be able to fully control Uchite to her full extent
Inner World
Rin's inner world looks like a beautiful scenery in the wild where wolves would live, with a full moon shining over the area. It's got lots of trees and hills and a vast plain. There's also a large crystal lake further down the plains where Amatsutori takes his drinks and keeps himself sheltered.

Name: Shakugan no Uchite - Burning-Eyed Hunter
Gender: Female
Appearance
Shakugan no Uchite, it slender like Rin and holds most of Rin's inner power. She has long dark brown and close to black hair that flows with the firery wind. Her eyes are as red as the flames of Amatsutori, and hold the darkness and evils or Rin's heart. She's the same height and weight as Rin, but carry's more muscle on her than her counterpart.
Uchite wears dark clothes similar to Rin's gigai clothes, a black shirt and a skirt with arms and legs covered in bandages. The bandages are used to lure the prey to show signs of weakness, but the bandages are weapons themselves made out of tiny metalic like feathers. But is usualy found wearing something a lighter and nostalgic to Rin's past when first appears.
Personality
Uchite is a darker side of Rin, but also holds most of Rin's brighteness. She's never afraid of anything and would love to involve herself in any heap of danger possible. She's the same as Rin when it comes to competitiveness and chocolate, and would do anything to win things over. The problem with Uchite is that she's more likely to kill anyone and everyone not caring who it is. She also has a lot of hate embeded within her which powers her up, and would rather act rash and quickly when it came to danger.
She also holds a lot of Rin's brightness aswell, since Uchite is more likely to say what she wants to say and do what she wants to do. Uchite is also the kind of person that would say what's wrong and has her own way of happiness unlike her master which is frequently truly unhappy.
Relationship to Master
Uchite respects Rin for several things, like her capability of using Kido fairly well. But she also thinks of Rin as a pathetic and weak Shinigami. Uchite doesn't like it when Rin holds back in battles, so she frequently tries to interfier and kill Rin's apponents for her. Rin and Uchite quarrel more often than Amatsutori and Rin, but mainly because Uchite is still not 100% sure of Rin's capabilities. Rin never tryes hard enough, and would rather just watch which anger Uchite to extreme lengths.
Since her lack of battling and attention for her hollow side, Uchite has been ignoring Rin and not giving much of an appearance, verbally speaking. Although, when and if Rin gets into a battle, she tends to try to take over to catch up for lost time.

Hollow Abilities

Mask Appearance and Summoning
In order for Rin to call out her mask and its power, she has to taker her hand to her face as if to just kindly touch it and pet it. It doesn't matter which hand she uses or which side of the face she pets, the mask appears with the urge for battle.
The mask looks like the beak of a raptor and has several red orange lines. Two of the lines are under the eye holes in the shape of wings, and one in the middle of the forehead that looks like a curved but pointy V. The mask cover's half of her face and the bottom part of Rin's face would would have two red lines crawling up from the side of her chin. Rin's eyes would be as red as Uchite's, and two hard feathers stick out on both sides of Rin's head, making it look like the masks ears.
Hollow Abilities
Berserker
- Description of Attack - When Rin puts her mask on, this ability allows her to go on an all out rampage to destroy any and all enemies without mercy. Her hand to hand combat skills increase on further as she pumels through her enemies. Berserker is mainly used in hand to hand combat, and when fighting with the zanpakuto, it increases the power of a hit.
- Limitation - Rin's stamina mainly determines how long she can go out, on berserker. After the battle is over with, and the mask is off, Rin will be exhausted and/or critically injured if used longer than 15 minutes all at once. This takes up about 5% of her spiritual power.
Enhanced Spiritual Attributes
- Description of Attack - When unleashing her zanpakuto, the power doubles and Rin's spiritual power becomes visible. This also increases her shikai's power and range of attack.
- Limitation -
The increase in power during battle will take affect after the battle by decreasing the user's energy. Also, Rin can use this ability only up to 20 constant minutes. Other than that she can increase and decrease the amounts she needs so the after effect isn't as damaging. This capability would use up 1-35% of her power depending on how much she adds onto her attacks.

Call Out Phrase: Kashou Amatsutori
Translation - Burn, Heavenly Bird
Shikai Appearance
Amatsutori in it's shikai form, looks almost the same way except that it has a ridged blade, making it more painful for the enemies to get cut. Also, the shikai form has two stings attached to the handle with red flamming feathers as hot as Amatsutori's fire, that are each 2 feet long. Since the flammed feathers are extremely hot, touching one would obviously burn anyone other than Rin.
Shikai Abilities
Yakedo Tatsumaki (burning tornado)
- Description of Attack - A long ranged fiery tornado that is launched by the zanpakuto when comanded to do so. When launched, it spirals around on the ground like a normal tornado and burns any enemy that gets in contact with it. But once an enemy gets in contact with the attack, the enemy can most likely get sucked in within the burning tornado, and might not be able to escape until it wears off.
To the opponents who's tier level are below Rin's, the attack's damage would more likely be full, and the chances for escape is slim and close to none. On the other hand, for apponents that are of the same level or one level below/above, the attack is capable of making 90% to full damage. While opponents that range three levels higher would have the damage of 50% to full, and above that it would have 50% to no damage.- Type - Offensive
- Range - 15 meters
- Limitation - When the attack is used, the powerful spiraling flames stay in the direction of where the attack was launched. It also lasts about 4 minutes and then disappears. It takes a large amount of time and energy to cast out this attack because out of its size and power. Mainly takes in about 13% spiritual power for every shot, but decreases stamina.
Teiku Enkou(Take Flame)
- Description of Attack - Once the blade is enflamed by Amatsutori's fire, anyone touched by the zanpakuto and/or the flame are constantely and literaly on fire, basically entrapping the enemy. If the enemy were to move away from the zanpakuto's contact, the flame is also capable of extending itself for a better chance at hitting. The damage can be severe depending on the length of the burning and temperature of the set out fire.
To the opponents who's tier level are below Rin's, the attack's damage would more likely be full, and the chances for escape is slim and close to none. On the other hand, for apponents that are of the same level or one level below/above, the attack is capable of making 90% to full damage. While opponents that range three levels higher would have the damage of 50% to full, and above that it would have 50% to no damage.- Type - Offensive
- Range - On contact/ 6 meters
- Limitation - The fire can be easily put out by a strong wind or a counter element like water, and can wear off it the one enflamed gets about 17 meters away. It takes up about 5% of Rin's spiritual ability and 2% more when extending the flames.
Hitate(Flame Shield)
- Description of Attack - Increases the defense of the user by creating a powerful fiery shield, and any other fire technique used on it will just help power up the shield's defense. Also, touching the shield would damage anyone that touches it. When the shield is summoned, it can last up to 5 minutes depending on the attacks its defending from, and it can also be called back to save energy when not needed.
The shield is capable of withstanding all attacks from opponents with a lower tier than Rin's. To the opponents that are around the same tier or one above/below, the shield would be able to take up to 10 hits before decipitating. While for opponents that are three tiers or higher are capable of breaking the shield with one attack.- Type - Fire/Defensive
- Range - 2 Meters
- Limitation - This shield is capable of a great defense but it's defense greatly decreases if water were to contact it. Also, other powerfull spiritual attacks could affect the resistance the shield contains. Takes up about 2% spiritual pressure, depending on length of time the shield must hold up, more energy will be taken.

The air grew still and everything around Rin seemed silent. The hollow which was about to eat the little girl's soul had simply vanished. Then the scene repeated again, as the little girl which now seemed to be someone else knelt on the ground quivering in fear of the great dark shadowy creature before her. Rin stood there just watching at first, but then realized what she needed to do.
She rushed forward with zanpakuto at hand, ready to thrust out at the hollow. The hollow's head slowly turned toward her direction as its fiery red eyes haulted Rin from attacking. 'Those eyes' she thought to herself recolecting something deep within her. Then it hit her, this was dejavu except that the girl kneeling infront of her attacker was a mear image of herself, ready to be redevoured by the darkness.
The large shadowy figure took form, as the one standing infront of her was a miror image of herself, with red flamming eyes. The girl smirked and then gave out a little laugh. Finally noticing, Rin realized that she was kneeling on the ground infront of her, where the girl was kneeling before. It was her, it was always her, Rin had to fix the problem and soon.

Slamming forward from where she slept, Rin realized it was just a dream. She sighed to herself in relief, but frowned knowing that she'd had to deal with it soon. A fiery red looking bird perched at Rin's window stared at her in amusement, "You seem rather frustrated" Amatsutori tells her. "You don't say" she said rather annoyed, and got out of bed. Rin grabed her days clothes and slammed the door to the bathroom.
As she got out Amatsutori stared at her ready to see something flashy. Rin scouled at him even more annoyed from his pervertedness. "What's wrong with you! Geez." Rin complained at Amatsutori's bad behavior. "You can't blame me, I'm a guy." He said and shrugged.
As their short lasting conversation ended, someone knocked on the door. It quickly slid open without any hesatation on wether or not Rin was fully dressed. Quickly, one of the other Shinigami close by walked in and announced the mission of the day. He looked at Rin and realized her cranky awakening. Rin eyes were full of fire as her right hand balled up into a fist. She towered over the trespassing guy in a threatening way, and with a little evil laugh she just scared him away.
"Why's you do that for? What if there was something interesting going on today?" Amatsutori complained, "You realy are a bad child aren't you?" Rin looked back at Amatsutori, "Ooh..Come on, it's not like we've been doing anything anyway." Rin retorted back. Amatsutori screeched out as if he were a little angry, then he simply vanished and his spirit went back with the zanpakuto.
Then, running steps could be heard approaching Rin's room. Stopped and bending by the door, a girl was catching her breath. She stood up strain and announced, "Rin Hinote, you've been called up by the captain and are going to your next mission" she said seemingly like she was ordering her. Rin just looked at her a little annoyed and then sighed. "Alright alright, I'll come to this one, relax, don't have a hernia" Rin said sarcasticaly and went to grab her zanpakuto. The other Shinigami girl sighed in relief, "That's good to know Rin" she said happily that she was able to get Rin to go.

After receiving orders from her captain, Rin and the rest of the Shinigami that were assigned to the mission went along to the Human world. Upon arriving, a strange wave of energy filled the air. No one else seemed to really care or notice it, so everyone just headed towards the group of hollows that they were sent to kill
Rin just looked at them a little annoyed and thought the odd flowing energy would be a far better challange for her. Rather than going with the others to defeat some easy hollow, Rin decided to head the other direction. 'They'll be fine without me' Rin thought to herself and dashed closer to the other energy.
"Are you ready for this?" Rin heard someone ask. "Huh? is that you Amatsutori?" she asked not really recognizing the voice. Unable to put a face to the voice, Rin looked around thinking someone was actually talking to her. She sighed at the sight of no one and just headed the way she was going again. A gigle filled her mind as she got closer to the power. Rin growled at herself in annoyence of the voice. "What do you want?" she asked annoyed. "Oh? Don't get angry, I just want to have a little fun. Don't you? Come on, lets do this." Rin sighed not knowing what to do since Amatsutori wasn't talking. Then, as she looked ahead, something stoped her in her tracks. A lookalike girl was standing infront of her looking a little impatient. Rin stopped and groweled again. "So what do you say?" the red eyed girl infront of her said.
Without answering back, Rin lifted her hand towards her face. The area around her burst into dark flames, as small white specs formed together covering her face. Two red lines appeared, crawling up both side's of Rin's chin. Then two more red lines appeared under her eyes in the shape of wings. On her forehead, a curved and pointed V was placed in a blood red tone. Both sides of Rin's temples had two horn life feathers sticking out, and the mask was complete. Rin let her hand drop, and placed it on her zanpakuto. Her eyes were pure red, and the half of her face that was showing had a smile with fang like teeth. She laughed, which seemed like an odd sounding echo. Then, with a quick movement, Rin disappeared towards the greater enemy's direction.
