With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
The last Celia had seen Adela and Neva, they were on the roof of a building and Adela had taken a beating. The espada faintly remembered a stab wound on her hip, and a leg that looked as if it had been twisted out of its socket. There had been a long gash running across her body, which was also concerning.
But Celia was not visiting her fraccion in the infirmary just so that she could check on their state of health. Those two were in trouble - Adela for getting into a fight and being too proud to let Neva help, and Neva for not helping anyways. Of course, Celia did not know exactly what happened. She was just assuming.
Presently she stood just outside the med bay, waiting for someone to invite her in. Good news or bad news.

Matanza walked out of the medical ward into the waiting room where someone... well, someone waited. She approached Celia calmly, and professionally before she spoke in a dry tone, “Adela was seriously injured, Neva, not so much,” she reported simply, “Both passed out from what they went through,” she added.
“Adela is awake. Mouthy, as well. I calmed her with the threat of sedation... delivered with a large needle,” Matanza, being able to make a needle big enough, and scary enough to give anyone a phobia.
“Do you wish to see them?” she asks, “They are largely treated. It won't be long until Adela is fully healed.”
She trained her staff well, and helped mold their abilities to their tasks, naturally. She wasn't Szayel, who would likely be able to heal in wilder, stranger, possibly more efficient ways, but she wasn't quite as unpleasant, and her wages tended to not be an arm, and a leg... literally. This kept her job security up, thaknfully.
Flicking her gaze to the healer, Celia listened attentively.
"Adela was seriously injured, Neva, not so much. Both passed out from what they went through."
That was normal, from what Celia had seen. The pair only seemed able to function if the other was as well - it gave her fear for what might have happened if Adela had died.
"Adela is awake. Mouthy as well," Matanza continued dryly. A smile played on Celia's lips when she heard how Adela had been scared into calm. "Do you wish to see them? They are largely treated. It won't be long until Adela is fully healed."
"Thank you," Celia said, a hint of relief in her voice. She had been prepared for the worst, but she hadn't needed to. Smoothly she added, "I would like to see them."

Matanza nodded softly, “This way, then,” she said, then turned to enter the medical ward, which wasn't a far walk. Firstly, a hallway which was, painted black. One could see, but at the same time, it felt like a void. A slight gloss allowed a person to know where the bounds of the hallway were, and it was lit so people could see each other fine. Where the light came from was unknown, though.
The tapping of her heels that occurred on the hard floor of the waiting room stopped once they entered the hallway. The floor, and the walls as well, if inspected, seemed to have a dampening, rubbery feel.
The door, flush to the walls, opened with a press. Frankly, if it weren't for a slight crack, the door might have been invisible. There were no other markings denoting it's location aside from the outline of the door where it separated from the wall.
She entered the room where her comrades were being treated. It was a bit archaic, yet modern at the same time. The tables looked hard, and bone like, yet were comfortable enough. There were assorted medical instruments around as well, some connected to the medical beds on arms that looked like the legs of an insect. They, too, were bone white.
All that white stood out immensely against the floors, and walls which retained that slight rubbery texture, and slightly shiny black. Again, the room was list by some unknown source. No fixtures, no windows, no signs of weakness in the walls.
A few medical staff buzzed around, tending to patients, most notably the pair Celia were here to see. The room itself was something for mass treatment. The tables were lined up like it was a morgue, however. They weren't against the wall, and were all neatly lined up.
“You have a visitor,” Matanza announced to the pair Celia were here to see. They should be awake, and doing well.
Celia followed Matanza through the darkened hallway. Perhaps it should have been perturbing, but Celia didn't mind it. She was perceptive enough to notice the light gloss separating floors from walls, and able to tell when they reached the end by a similar gloss in the door. Taking that into account, the hallway wasn't so intimidating.
As they entered, Matanza announced, "you have a visitor."
Neva laid in a bed, despite not appearing injured. She looked to Celia with her usual expression - one that was blank. Oddly enough, she sat upright and flatly said, "Celia-sama...I'm glad you're here."
It was strange to hear Neva express any sort of emotion. She looked to Adela, who wore a scowl. Unlike Neva, Adela looked a little battered. Most likely it was because she hadn't had a chance to clean herself off, and Celia didn't care too much about dirt on the skin.
"Hola," Adela said, not making eye contact. It was much easier to read Adela - she was frustrated at needing to be saved, and she was preparing for what was inevitable.
The red-haired espada smiled to each of her fraccion, and softly greeted, "Adela, Neva, it's good to see you two alright."
She strolled over to the two, stood somewhere between the foot of their beds. Her smile dropped too quickly, and she folded her arm under her chest. "What were you two thinking?" the small woman hissed. "You know your limits, yet you - Neva - you allow her to fight on her own! Yes, Adela starts these things - but you're more clever than she is!"
"Hey!"
Neva was quiet, bowing her head. "I am sorry, Celia-sama."
"And you!" Celia yelled, pointing at Adela. "Stop insisting that you fight alone - each and every time you try, your perimeter breaks and you're left defenseless it's because you tried to fight alone!"
She folded her arms, glaring at her two fraccion. It was fortunate for them that Darui was not present. He would certainly laugh at them.
"I--" Adela protested, staring at Celia but realizing that she had nothing to say. She narrowed her eyes, then looked away. "Puta..."

Matanza stood back, and watched the goings on with some interest. It wasn't her business, but she never really let that stop her. As she watched, she crossed her arms under her ample bosom. A smile played across her lips as well.
She didn't mind them arguing, and she wasn't about to get into the politics of a team outside the medical wards, really. Frankly, so long as they didn't try to trash the place, or the people they were free to do as they liked.
Frankly, this was entertainment. Watching others clash, that is. Interpersonal relationships. Drama. Good stuff. She'd be lying if this was common. Usually people came in, got patched up, then got the hell out before anything like this could happen.
Celia was done. She had nothing more to yell, so instead she stared sternly between the two. Neva averted her gaze, but Adela met it almost hatefully. From Adela's shaking, she knew that her fraccion was angry. From somewhere at the corner of her mouth, where her lips came together from the slightest part, Celia knew that Adela was actually a little...sad. To have lost her fight, or to have been yelled at after losing the fight? Celia wasn't quite sure.
She slipped her hands into her pockets and waited, allowing Adela and Neva to say whatever they wished to say. They were quiet for a moment, at least until Adela lifted her head up and meekly asked, "So...can we get out of here? Everyone in here's fuckin' weird."
Neva was quiet, as usual, but waited politely for the answer. Adela just stood up and shook herself off, looking around for her zanpakuto.
One of these days, I'm locking them in a room until they make nice, Celia thought as a bitter smirk came upon her lips. She looked to Matanza, to see if there were any objections, and then turned to leave.

Matanza nodded, “You're free to go. What ever wounds linger will heal up by tomorrow, I'm sure,” she chuckled lightly.
“Do come again,” she said to them with sincerity, yet a professional tone. She waved to them as well. She didn't know why. They were interesting patients, she supposed.
