With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
"I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CAUGHT BY THE GODDAMN COPS IF YOU HADN'T BEEN CAUSING A BUNCH OF FUCKING TROUBLE THAT GODDAMN NIGHT!"
Mizuki heard what Neko said, but decided not to reply. Being silent did get on his nerves, and she didn't really care to answer him. This may turn out bad, but hell, she wanted to get back at him for everything he has said that was hurtful. It was a good thing that not all guys were like that.
"NEXT TIME I WILL YOU LITTLE WHORE! JUST GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE YOU BITCH! JUST GET THE FUCK OUT!"
She decided to yell back at him as she left out the door. "I AM LEAVING YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!?" Mizuki was in no mood to deal with Neko. She was more concerned with Toshioni.
As she stumbled out of the room and called after Toshi, she felt the world topple over. Well, that was actually just her, as she began to fall. It was in slow motion. She saw Toshioni turn around and look at her, then he started running. On top of that, she saw him momentarily flash every few steps, as if he was going way faster than humanly possible! Then again, he is a quincy, and Mizuki kinda forgot this fact. Damn drugs.
"I've got ya. It's okay."
Toshi had picked her up and saved her from falling to the ground... That would of hurt, that's for damn sure. She wrapped her good arm around his neck, holding herself close to him. There was still tears in her eyes from before, and she sounded as if she was crying, probably cuz she was.
"Toshi... I'm so... so... sorry!" Mizuki cried into Toshioni's chest.
A sudden crash could be heard from her room, and as they approached it the door seemed to be closed. Mizuki wasn't even worried about it right then. Actually, what was on her mind was the guy holding her right now, Toshioni.
"I AM LEAVING YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!?"
Neko didn't know why, but he stopped his fury for just a moment. He kind of liked it when she yelled at him like that. For season, it sounded really nice to him. Shit, he didn't what was up with any of that. Either way, he continued his path of destruction and put that far from his mind. He was going to destroy the shit out of this room. He was going to have a fun time with that for sure.
---------------------
As Toshioni walked her to her room he noticed that she was crying on his shoulder. He let out a small sigh. He knew that she felt bad because she had hurt him; that much was obvious. But he wouldn't let that change the way he felt about the situation. She had still hurt him and he wouldn't let that change. It had hurt seeing her in bed with that fucking guy. And Toshioni wasn't going to give in to that. He deserved to feel bad for himself about this. He deserved to get away from this because it hurt him.
"Toshi... I'm so... so... sorry!"
He sighed. He didn't like to think about hurting her like this. She was really apologetic about hurting him. But she had still done it and he didn't have to forgive and forget about that. He had the right to be angry about that. DAMMIT. He had the right to get pissed off about that. Shit. Why couldn't he get too mad at her?
"I know you are Mizu-chan. It's okay. It'll be okay. Let's just get you back in bed."
As he walked into her room he saw that the guy was still there. What's more, that little prick had destroyed Mizuki's room. He had flipped the bed and smashed the window and a chair. What the fuck was wrong with this guy? What the fuck was wrong with Mizuki for liking this guy? Goddammit.
Neko saw Toshioni and Mizuki walk into the room that he had destroyed. He had to run or else he'd get locked up or something like that. His father could pay for the damages, but he couldn't get him out of the looney bin or some shit like that. As such, he jumped out the window and ran like hell until he got home. Neko would be nursing his arm for a while now.
Toshioni let out another sigh before looking down at the pitiful Mizuki in his arms. She had nowhere to sleep now and he would have to fix that. Damn, he was such a nice guy. It fucking sucked. "Well Mizu-chan, let's find you somewhere new to sleep. This won't work."
"I know you are Mizu-chan. It's okay. It'll be okay. Let's just get you back in bed."
Mizuki was still buried in Toshi's chest. It was warm and nice, and yet, there was distance. It seemed like Toshi wasn't all there. He was not completely there, like his mind was in another place. What would she do about it? Talk, that's all she could do.
"To...Toshi-kun. It wasn't what it looked like... The... drugs, they were making me sleepy... Him too, and he passed out right before I did... It wasn't like I tried Toshi... kun."
Mizuki tried to explain this, but as she did this, he walked into the room that was destroyed. Toshioni stopped, and Mizuki heard a sound like someone jumping out the window. What was going on?! Mizuki turned her head to see Neko jumping out of the window. She then looked around the destroyed room. The bed was flipped, window shattered, chair broken, the room was just one big mess!
Toshioni looked down at Mizuki with a sigh. As he did this, Mizuki looked up at him. He had a somewhat sad look on his face, like he felt sorry for her. She was a big girl, and she didn't need to have people feel sorry for her. She didn't like it, but she would have to deal with it. Toshioni was determined to find her a new bed.
"Well Mizu-chan, let's find you somewhere new to sleep. This won't work."
Mizuki gave a slight smile to Toshioni. She was glad he was there, but how did she really feel? Did she like Toshi, or did she like Neko? When she was around Neko, she felt rebellious, angry, and like she wants to hurt something or someone, at least when he yelled at her. When he didn't she felt like there wasn't anything else in the world but Neko, and yet, he barely even knew she was there.
On the other hand, there was Toshioni. She felt safe and well guarded when she was around him. He made her feel something that she hadn't felt since... Well, never. It gave her butterflies in the pit of her stomach when he looked at her with those brown eyes. It made her feel relaxed, at peace, like nothing could ever go wrong. He was something else, really he was. Mizuki didn't know which one she liked more, or if she even really liked one more than the other.
The moment she realized that she was to deep in thought, she snapped back to see Toshioni looking at her. She had to say something...
"Toshioni-kun... Uh.. You make me feel..."
Before Mizuki could finish what she was saying, she was interrupter by the floor's resident nurse. She walked into the room to see the destroyed room along with Mizuki, the patient, in Toshioni's arms.
"Excuse me?! What happened here!? What are you doing here, sir?!" The nurse was surprised and maybe a bit angry, but who could really tell.
"To...Toshi-kun. It wasn't what it looked like... The... drugs, they were making me sleepy... Him too, and he passed out right before I did... It wasn't like I tried Toshi... kun."
"It's okay Mizuki. Just don't worry about it."
Actually, it wasn't okay. But Mizuki was hurt and he didn't want to upset her too much. She was hurt and drugged and all kinds of vulnerable. His own feelings could wait until he left and got some space from her. Then he could sort through things on his own terms and think about how he wanted to go about fixing everything. He actually didn't know what being "fixed" would be like. Did he want to salvage this or move on? There were other girls out there after all. But he'd think about all that later.
"Toshioni-kun... Uh.. You make me feel..."
"Shhhhhhhh, save your strength. Rest up, I'll get you to a bed." He meant that. Toshioni wanted to make sure that she could rest. After that, his debt would be paid to her.
"Excuse me?! What happened here!? What are you doing here, sir?!"
Sighing slowly, Toshioni saw that he was going to be the one who had to explain this to the nurse on this goddamn floor. He really didn't want to be involved in any of this. Goddamn it. "The guy in the room over from this destroyed this whole room and then darted. Now this lady needs a bed and soon. So, let's take care of that please. And why I'm here doesn't really matter. The security footage will prove me right and I don't need to stick around for any of that, now do I?"
Don't worry about it? How could she not? She had feeling for Toshioni and saw how much it hurt him when he found them. How could she be so naive? Neko doesn't like her (for all she knows), while Toshioni is prepared to give her his life (maybe). She would make this up to him... When? She didn't know, but she would!
"Not worry... But I... Nevermind... I'll tell you later..." Mizuki stopped herself so she didn't say to much. She didn't wanna spill the beans about how she felt towards him just yet. When the time was right would be the time she tells.
"Shhhhhhhh, save your strength. Rest up, I'll get you to a bed."
Mizuki nodded. She rested her head against Toshi's shoulder. It was safe, warm, and most importantly, not Neko. That guy just pissed her off to no end, but what could she do about it. She tried to do as Toshi suggested, rest. It was important now, and the drugs were kicking back in. Her adrenaline had stopped pumping after Toshi had picked her up. It was only a matter of time before she was asleep in his arms.
"The guy in the room over from this destroyed this whole room and then darted. Now this lady needs a bed and soon. So, let's take care of that please. And why I'm here doesn't really matter. The security footage will prove me right and I don't need to stick around for any of that, now do I?"
The nurse nodded and showed Toshioni to a spar room. It was a bit smaller, but would have to do. The nurse offered a small smile and offered to take Mizuki.
"Would you like me to take her in? If not, then go ahead and put her in bed, please be quiet though, she needs her rest." The nurse bowed slightly.
"Not worry... But I... Nevermind... I'll tell you later..."
Toshioni let out a small sigh that could've been excused as an exhale as he looked down at her. Shit, it was really hard to be mad at her when she looked so fucking sad and miserable. He was allowed to be mad though; he deserved to be angry about what had happened to him just now. It...it made sense. FUCK! He needed to be pissed about this; why couldn't he be pissed?
"It's okay."
"Would you like me to take her in? If not, then go ahead and put her in bed, please be quiet though, she needs her rest."
"It's okay. I've got her. I'll set her down and then be on my way. Is that okay?" He actually didn't wait for her to respond to this as he wasn't really willing to give her up to this lady. Also, she didn't seem very willing to take her off his hands. The women seemed a little annoyed about having to go through this whole ordeal. "I've got this, if you wanna go."
With that, Toshioni turned his attention away from the nurse. He was pretty sure that she would just leave and he was right. She just left and he was alone with Mizuki. Being very careful, he laid her on the bed before bending over her and whispering in her ear.
"Sleep well, Mizu-chan. Get some rest and heal up." He gave her a kiss on the forehead before he turned and left her room. He took his time descending the stairs because he knew that he didn't want to really rush anywhere. It was going to be a hard night for obvious reasons. Shit, things just got worse and worse.
