Out of the frying pan...[Closed, Lilly]

For the second time in a week, Akihiko found himself racing across the rooftops of Karakura in pursuit of a Hollow. This one, though, was strong. He'd admit he was slightly out classed, but it wasn't exactly playing nice from what he could tell--even from this far. The reiatsu wasn't like most Hollow either, and this concerned him somewhat.

He didn't have to fight it, as far as he was concerned. He just had to lead it away, distract it, or just convince it to leave if it was intelligent enough to communicate with. His unreleased Zanpaku-to was already in hand, baseball cap pulled low as he sped across the sky, closing in with below average speed. Times like these he hated the fact he wasn't the fastest. Being big had it's draw backs, he'd admit...

Finally, though, as the site came into view, he rotated the bastard sword onto his shoulder and leaped off the nearest building, plummeting from it and landing lightly in the street. He headed directly for the source, sword tapping lightly. The Hollow wasn't in view, yet, just around the corner, but he spoke loudly.

"My my my, seems you guys are getting even more brave nowadays."

Veronica was severely agitated, and that was something that rarely happened. Her smile gone, she had a feral look on her face as she searched for the human that had eluded her. She was running low on test subjects, so she had decided to come to Karakura Town in order to “borrow” some humans. The first two humans were easily taken out, and taken back to her lab/room.

However, the last one, a young man, almost shit his pants as he ran away. She was still in a happy mood, however, until the moronic bag of flesh had actually thrown trash at her AND used pepper spray on her. What man carries Mace? It’s inconceivable! In any case, she was now skulking around in the dark when she sensed another reiatsu signature.

Not a shinigami, but not a hollow…Oh dear god not one of them, she thought to herself. As she rounded a corner, hearing the man’s whimpering, she heard another voice from behind her.
"My my my, seems you guys are getting even more brave nowadays."

She snorted and straightened out her back, looking to the human. ”You will stay there while I go take out the trash. Move, and I will gleefully disembowel you!”She said rather happily.

Turning around the corner she barely looked at the man, and instead said. ”I have no idea what you’re referring to, but would you be so kind as to go the fuck away?”

As Akihiko finally rounded the corner, he caught sight of the owner of the reiatsu, and his free hand came to rest upon his hip. His hat was pulled low, the shadow cast hiding his eyes and nose as he lowered his head. He held the usual cocky grin, though and tapped the Zanpaku-to slightly.

A...Hollow that looks human? An...is that an Arrancar?

He'd never faced one before, let alone SEEN one. He'd admit he was slightly intrigued, if only for the experience. That and, well, she didn't really dress modestly.

"Little late to be coming home from cheer leading isn't it?"

He opened his mouth to speak again, but was cut off.

”I have no idea what you’re referring to, but would you be so kind as to go the fuck away?”

Immediately he pointed at her as he shouted, his face coming up as he did so. "HEY! Language!" After he finished reprimanding her and let his hand drop.

"And I'm referring to the amount of Hollows that have been present lately....and now an Arrancar. Hueco Mundo must be gettin' pretty ballsy sending you guys to a town specifically under the protection of the Seireitei, Vizards, and home of the kid who ended the Winter War...but then..."

He tapped the sword at this point.

"Your kind hasn't ever been fond of making sense. I'll leave after you do. Can't have you running around damaging my flock. So how about it pretty lady? Gonna beat feet peacefully, or am I gonna have to spank you?"
