Name: Yukio [Lucky]

Appearance
After several years of wandering Karakura as a stray, Yukio has grown and is now a quite large dog, nearly three feet at the shoulders and weighing a lean 80 some pounds. A thick coat of hair makes him appear quite large, and the reiatsu he seems to exert has caused him to be somewhat more expressive than an ordinary dog. He's quite good at mimicking human expressions. His eyes are still brown and slanted, and his tongue is still blue. He's pretty big, though pretty average for Akitas. His paws are still quite large, like shovels, but they are proportional to his body.
He has long, fluffy black fur with white patches on his paws, stomach, and muzzle. The insides of his ears are also white.
Personality
Yukio seems unusually perceptive to human behavior. He doesn't understand much of what humans are saying, but he understands when a person is happy and when they aren't, when they want to give attention and when they want to be left alone, and all the other essentials for a homeless puppy.
He's not a very aggressive dog, unless one counts racing up at speeds reaching 70 miles an hour to leap into someone's arms aggressive. Which it's not. Maybe.
All in all, he's a fluffy puppy and needs to be petted.
History
As Yukio is five months old, there genuinely is not much to say about his life so far.
Yukio's mother had an owner. Briefly. The man had a modest amount of reiatsu, at least enough to attract hollows to him. While he was out walking his dog, he was attacked and killed by a hollow. She, having never been fixed, got pregnant. She was forced to abandon her owner's empty apartment and live on garbage and the generosity of people with access to food.
After giving birth, she took care of her puppies until they were weened and able to survive partially on their own. Yukio was separated from his brothers and sisters and hadn't seen them since.
On his own, Yukio managed to live fairly well on a diet of scraps from a butcher's store and the garbage parts of the fish outside of a sushi joint. He was never officially named, though various people around town tend to call him "Yukio."
Being a reportedly noble breed, Yukio found it easy to get help from superstitious old women and men, as well as enamored children and unsuspecting shinigami or vizards. Any attempts to take him to an animal shelter were rendered useless when he simply ran away. He made a few friends, Jericho the arrancar, Kaki the vizard, Shinji the other vizard with a penchant for hot dogs, and many others. Every so often, he would find a being he liked and stick to them. At least until they left the human realm.

Spiritual Awakening
Yukio has had heightened sensitivity to reiatsu since birth. Because his mother was present when her owner was attacked, Yukio showed signs of power similar to fullbring. Except...he's a dog. They're fairly limited powers, since he controls his reiatsu instinctively rather than with purpose.
Discovery of Powers
Yukio's powers have been present since birth. Once he was able to walk, he was able to run at fairly intense speeds and jump higher than most dogs.
Though he can bark open Garganta portals, he doesn't seem aware of this.
Abilities Description
Yukio's powers seem to have given him enhanced senses and physical abilities, rather than any specific powers. He can sniff out reiatsu sources, hear noises at very long distances [which would be more useful if he could fully understand human speech], run at a top speed of 70 mph, jump up to 20 meters, and bark open garganta.

Enhanced Senses
- Description of Attack - Yukio can hear and smell better than the average dog. Which is saying something. He can pick up reiatsu like a scent (this is the only way he can sense reiatsu) and hear even minute noises.
- Type - Passive
- Range - 500 meters
- Limitation - He can't eavesdrop very well, seeing as people speaking is mostly just noise to him. To him, reiatsu is like the scent gland found in most dogs, so he is very keen to it.
Enhanced Physical Traits
- Description of Attack - Yukio is able to run at speeds up to 70 miles an hour, and leap stretches up to 20 meters. He is also able to "levitate" much like shinigami and arrancar.

- Limitation - He can't exceed 70 miles an hour or 20 meters. Eventually, he gets tired. That's about it.
Garganta
- Description of Attack - Yukio can bark and open up a garganta. That's about it.
- Type - Activated
- Range - 20 meters.
- Limitation - Yukio isn't fully aware of how to do this; he barks open garganta without making a conscious decision to. He doesn't do it every time he barks, but instead occasionally when he is either scared or upset [usually about someone leaving through a garganta].

Yukio tilted his head at the small girl. She smelled like dirt and dust - and reiatsu. There was an entire mountain not too far off that smelled just like her. And others too, but hers was very pronounced.
"Shoo, shoo puppy," she said hurriedly. He tilted his head.
"Boof."
She turned out her pockets. "I don't have any food for you. Please go away."
He panted obliviously. She didn't have to have any food - he had just gotten a fish head from a restaurant. But little girls usually wanted to pet him. They always said something along the lines of "cute" and scratched his ears.
He liked when people scratched his ears.
"Boof boof!"
She tentatively reached down and patted him on the head, and then backed away. Maybe she thought he would bite. He snorted and pawed at his face apologetically.
"Oh, come here."
She lifted him up and whisked him off. Mission accomplished.
