With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

Kyra yawned, and covered her mouth as she did, "Well pardon me for wanting to make a good impression, and be a good example for once, Hikaru. Ya wanna be casual all the time, we can," she said through the yawn. "I am Kyra. Sheesh. Why are you flying off the handle?" She added.
She looked at Hikaru after the yawn with post yawn eyes, and grinned at him.
Matanza didn't let on she knew anything about the message the butterfly were to deliver.
She watched him calmly and waited for his reactions, both to her words, and to the butterfly.
Every one of Hikaru's instincts was screaming that something was wrong here. But it wasn't hard evidence. Maybe Kyra really was trying to be more formal. Maybe Momo was just tired and having a bad day. Maybe Captain Mom wanted to talk about roses.
He was still suspicious, but that didn't warrant action. He decided to speed over the meeting after all.
That's when he noticed the cover of one of the books Kyra was holding.
"Seretei Law and Enforcement: A History"
Smiling widely at not having to look for the said book, he quickly reached out and grabbed it from her, tucking it into his hayori.
"You'll thank me later Ky-chan." he called, before vanishing in shunpo, hurrying to the Captain's meeting.

"Hey! Damnit! I need that book! Get back here!" She handed the books hastily to Momo, "Hold these," she said to the woman, then utilized Shunpou herself, and sped after the captain
She leapt at the Captain to try and catch up, and grabbed into his pants leg as she dove for him,! And then, well, threatened to pull down his pants! "Gimme that book back!" she shouted at him angrily in Kyra's voice, not minding being informal in the least. He expected that much. Well, she figured she may as well make the most of it.
She had a stupid playful grin on her mouth as she waited for him to surrender the book, "The book, or your PANTS!!" she said with a wicked playful glee.

Hikaru stopped mid flash step and offered the twelfth seat a confused look.
"What do you need a book on Seretei Law for? It's not like you to be studying something so boring." he commented dryly, pulling out the book. He flipped it open, and without looking at exactly what he was showing her, he showed her a page filled with hundreds of long words, in very tiny print.
"See. I however need this. So I invoke my Captain powers to take it from you!" he grinned and turned again, his face turning serious as he walked away.

Something... was wrong. As the two bristly vacated the scene, Momo stood there in a stupor. Her brain was slowly attempting to digest something... some for of... thought. It was confusing... and her head tilted to the left and to the right, as though she were lost. Suddenly, it all came back to her. In an instant, those eyes flashed open, light returning to them. Her head cocked up as she spotted Captain Aurora and Kyra high in the sky, seeming to be fighting over something. Kyra... Momo remembered; that wasn't her! That thing wasn't Kyra!
When that hell butterfly had suddenly informed her she was so urgently needed, that someone close to her was gravely injured and required her presence, Momo had left Kyra's side in a heartbeat, trusting the crimson haired woman's life in Hikaru's hands until the fourth division had arrived. Momo feared... feared that it was Shiro-chan... Kira? Renji? Who... who was it? When she arrived, however, it was nothing of the sort. Butterflies had surrounded her, and a girl appearing just like Kyra had stood before her, giving her orders. Despite her brain's reaction, her body followed, sheathing her Zanpakuto, and slowly falling into a deep slumber.
"Aurora-taicho!" Momo shouted as she flash stepped as quickly as she could up to the others, the effects of the butterfly manipulation starting to wear off... still, her body found it difficult in collecting reiatsu while fighting against the weakening hold... even traveling to their distance brought a bit of sweat to her features.

"Yeah, well I invoke -this-!" She pulled on Hikaru's pants, and sought to yoink them straight to his ankles!!!
In a flash she zipped around in a flash step and tried ti yoink the book out of his hand as he were, likely, distracted, "Study, my ass! I wanted to look up sumfin!"
She looked over Hikaru's shoulder, then dashed around him to intercept Momo with the book in hand, then slipped behind the dazed Momo, "C'mon, Momo! We have stuff to look up!" She tried to pull Momo away before she could blab.
She really hoped things weren't going to unravel so soon.
Hikaru yelped as he dropped the book, attempting to hold his pants up. He rounded back on Kyra, only to see her attempting to drag Momo back to the library, book in hand. Letting out a frustrated sigh, he called over his shoulder.
"I'll pick it up after the meeting!"
He began to prepare a powerful shunpo, attempting to cover the distance in only a few steps.

>>"C'mon, Momo! We have stuff to look up!"<<
No! This wasn't Kyra. Still, the woman's reiatsu was far beyond her own. She could barely summon the strength to shunpo her way to where they were currently, let alone fight against the shape shifter! She reached for the hilt of her blade as she was dragged back near the library, where she had completely forgotten she had dropped whatever books had been in her grasp.
"Snap! Tobiume!"
With a fiery burst of what little reiatsu she could muster, her sword flared into Shikai in order to get some distance between herself and the impostor.
Inside the library, however, Chouko was drawing closer and closer to insanity. She was now violently screaming at her Zanpakuto, in tears now that the sword was no longer speaking to her. What had she done wrong? She did everything she was told! Why... why won't she talk to her anymore?
"Miss... are you alright?"
Panic suddenly hit her as she felt like everyone suddenly knew. They knew... they knew what she had done!
"Flutter, Murasakicho!"
And another flare of one's Shikai would ensue as Chouko felt the sudden need to escape. The Shinigami summoned several butterflies with a swing of her blade, all smothering the poor man whose only mistake was asking a woman if she were alright. The long black haired woman made a dash for the entrance way, with several people staring or attempting to stop and question her actions.
"Murasakicho!"
Despite the conflict between the two, Chouko was still able to summon her sword's abilities, although the hold she once held on the Lieutenant of the Fifth Division was slowly losing its focus.
"SHIT'S HITTING THE FAAAAAAN!! SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!" Matanza was not pleased!!!
She lunched at Momo with intense, fluid speed, and her Zanpakuto, which was in the form of Kyra's sought to bat aside Momo's with one hand on it. Matanza's other hand lit up with a violent charge of electricity and was thrust at Momo's stomach in an attempt to zap her into a more compliant state, if not unconscious.
She didn't want to kill Momo. With all this ruckus there might be some need of a hostage to get out of this place.
As she traveled to Momo, she passed the books, and absorbed them into her body for easier storage, and getting them the heck out.
Hikaru had already been half way to the Captain's meeting when the alarm sounded. Stopping immediately, he turned to the sudden surges of reitsu that indicated released shikai's. Growling under his breath when he noticed that it came from the library, he shunpoed at top speed back to the library.
He arrived to see numerous shinigami running this way and that, some panicking, others trying to figure out just what the hell was going on.
Bursting in through the door, Hikaru homed in on one of the shikai releases. He didn't know that it was Tobiume, all he knew was that it was fairly weak, and slowly getting weaker.
