With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.

"Good evening, Lieutenant Hinamori!"
"..."
It had been one blank reply after another as the short brunette made her way through barracks, closer and closer toward the Central Library of Serieitei; the Daireishokairo. Behind her was a crimson haired woman who appeared to be apart of the same squad, along with one of the Fifth Squad's unseated officers, Chouko Hikruo. The long, dark haired woman walked along side the redhead, both two steps behind their Lieutenant, as the woman seemed to blindly lead them to the doors of Daireishokairo.
"Here..." were the only words Momo Hinamori had spoken in almost an hour. Those darkened, near pupil-less hues seemed faded as they stared blankly to the doors, then turned back to the pair of women following her. "This is the Daireishokairo..."
"Keep going..." Chouko spoke softly, almost barely above a whisper. Momo nodded, then continued the path to the large doorways and into the complex. It took several minutes to pass through various sections of the library to come across the one the women were truly searching for.
"The previous section that the book was placed in was shut down due to previous incidents," Momo's voice was monotone as she led the women down one of the isles, then began searching the rack standing before her for a certain book in particular. "However, some of the books held copies in other sections; references... some even moved. Here... this is the first one..."
It seemed like any other normal book in that particular section; Zanpakuto history. This one, in particular, seemed to hold information about melee-based Zanpakuto, however, Momo slipped the cover off rather easily, revealing the book's true title; Hollow Reiatsu and the Hollowfication Process. With that, she slipped the cover back on and handed it to Chouko.
"There are seven more books with pieces of information that you require," Momo explained. "It will take me some time to find them all..."

A Fox in the hen house. A wolf in sheep's clothing. A lioness in the tall grass. Oh it was nice... Oh so nice to be on the offensive right under the noses of everyone.
Matanza walked amongst the shinigami in the form of a fleshy, lovely one named Kyra. A form that suited her ever present vanity well. It's been ages since she masqueraded as another and she honestly missed it. Even her Arrancar spiritual pressure was hidden. She was perfectly undetectable to the eye, and to the sixth senses that felt Reiatsu.
She walked with Momo, and Chouko calmly, smiling a bit. She felt alive inside, but restrained it. She loved having pawns.
The group slowly made their way to the Library, and allowed the casual pace to not draw attention from people.
She watched calmly as Momo obediently handed over one of their target books, then replied to her information, "It's cool, Momo. We aren't in a rush. We still need those books, though."
Matanza always hated one part of espionage. Pretending to be another person emotionally, and in terms of personality. She didn't know Kyra well, so she needed to approximate, and hope for the best. To make matters worse she couldn't really duplicate any Zanpakuto abilities, but she did not foresee the need to at this point. She was to lay low, and sneak about, and retrieve targets.
Easy enough, right?
She offered a smile at Chouko, and it assured the Shinigami that all had gone to plan so far, and things will work out.
Hikaru stepped out of the shower and ran a hand through his died black hair, letting out a deep sigh. Fushichou sat in the corner of his bathroom, the blade seeming to gleam tauntingly at him. He rolled his eyes at the sword, and began to get dressed into his uniform.
"Yeah yeah, I'm goin'." he muttered
It had only been a few hours since the incident at the training field, and his zanpakutou had not stopped badgering him about visiting the poor girl in the 4th division.
So in order to get her to shut the hell up, he would now be forced to pay the red head a visit. It wasn't like he had any actual work to do. Of course not.
Fucking phoenix.
Grabbing his sword and tucking it into his sash, he vanished in a whisper of shunpo, reappearing at the entrance to the 4th Division.
Briskly walking through the large doors and into the waiting room, he flashed a friendly smile to the nurse that had just been talking to a very sad shinigami.
"Ah, Captain Aurora, what can I do for you?" the medic smiled sweetly, batting her eyelashes.
Oblivious to the flirtation, he replied completely without interest, his eyes scanning the room. "I'm here to visit Kyra Rounin."
"Oh," the nurses face fell into a scowl and her head bent down to look at her clip board. "She was sent out on a mission a couple hours ago...." but by the time she looked back up, the Captain was gone, his hayori swishing as he rounded the corner.
A scowl marred Hikaru's handsome features, his gait quickening as suspicion clouded his mind. Why would they send her out on a mission right after being injured, he could have sworn there was some kind of law against that.
Using shunpo to arrive in the library, he pushed open the doors, ignoring the greetings and bows he recieved. He needed to find a book on Seretei Law. No way in hell was this legal.

There we eight books total that Momo was currently searching for, with Chouko standing near the front, mostly to help keep an eye out for anything suspicious that may deter their mission... and soon, it seemed, it came. Those darkened violet hues widened as her hair shifted over her field of view. Captain Aurora, of the Ninth Division. Having been the one to witness the fight from afar, and send Kyra off to the real world, as well as drag Momo away earlier, she knew that if the man had spotted the current Kyra within the library, their mission would be in jeopardy.
"Flutter... Murasakicho..."
There wasn't much rise at all to her reiatsu as she activated her Shikai, having moved to a small corner of one of the larger rooms. Currently, the pair of women were one floor up, though if they came toward the balcony, they would surely be spotted.
She could hear the words of her Zanpakuto so easily now... it was strange. Still, the woman listened to every word her Zanpakuto spoke, despite the conflicting emotions she felt. She had been the very few who had been unable to truly communicate with words to her Zanpakuto, though still achieve Shikai. Still, she felt far more confidence welling up inside of her as her sword's spirit began to depict a rather ingenious strategy to help sort out their next course of action.
From above, Momo had just collected the fifth book, and was working on her sixth. Those faded, almost lifeless hues continued to do the work her body was ordered, as though there weren't a second thought within her mind. Each time she had archived her goal of finding a particular book, she would find Kyra and hand it to the woman, so that her arms were free to search for the next. Still, it seemed as though there were something... odd... she couldn't shake it... it was as if... she were sleeping... or dreaming, perhaps. That strange... sensation one felt in between being asleep and awake... almost like sleep walking. Momo's daze look forced her to hesitate a bit, pausing in her movements as she shook her head. That sleepy expression returned, and those half-lidded hues continued their journey for the next book.
Kyra/Matanza walked towards the door that lead out of the library, "You two have fun with the books, and shit. No rush, just get'em," she said carelessly, "Gunna go outside and get out of this dusty place a bit."
With that she exited calmly in a lazy pace.
She grumbled as she did her best to play the role after being briefed on her personality, but it was so hard just on description. She needed personal time with the target. Time to get to know'em, and she certainly would have liked to gotten to know this one.
She stood outside the library calmly, and pushed crimson locks from her eyes with a little smile.
The Kyra stand-in waited for word from her two pawns that they were done with calm. She couldn't very well yell at them or anything. Kyra was a calm one. A lazy one. Rather undisciplined. Rushing towards things wasn't her style.
She just hoped this wasn't going to bite her in Kyra's rather pretty ass.
Her attention went towards a spiritual pressure she felt... a strong one...
"Not now... No one must know..." she thought, and waited to see what this blasted person wanted, and keep them from finding out about her partners in crime.
She lazily put her heel against the shoji door, then pushed it closed with a kick as if she were just about to leave, or as if she were loitering lazily.
To add to this image she rubbed her nose idly, and pretended not to notice the approaching captain.
Hikaru stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes narrowing dangerously as he saw an all too familiar shock of crimson hair.
"Kyra?" he called out to her, his instincts screaming at him to get ready for a fight. She was supposed to be out on a mission, what the hell was she doing in the library. He knew she was lazy, but even Kyra wouldn't shirk out on a mission. That would have been more trouble than it was worth.
"I was just told you were sent to Earth on a mission, what are you doing here?" he questioned, his body tense and ready to react just in case. Something was not right here.

A Hell's Butterfly rested at the tip of her finger as she began to pour her reiatsu into it, modifying whatever original message was within it, and producing a new one. Despite the conflicting emotions of her Zanpakuto, Chouko listened to the words of her sword's spirit rather than its emotions. Still, it seemed her sword was attempting to reject her order. With a bit more concentration, Chouko finally finished, and let the black winged butterfly escape the tip of her index finger. The insect flew around twice, before heading out the partially opened window, heading outside to where Captain Aurora and the presently appearing Kyra conversed. The small butterfly flew around the Captain's head before attempting to relay the message.
"All Captains are to proceed to the First Division Barracks immediately; an emergency meeting has been called upon. Repeat; All Captains are to proceed to the First Division Barracks, an emergency meeting has been called upon."
It seemed that was not the only butterfly her Zanpakuto had managed to manipulate, however, as others that were floating by, attempting to deliver random messages all halted momentarily, circled around a few times, then started to head in different directions with mixed up messages that more likely than not no longer held any meaning to them. Chouko worried a bit as she felt panic slowly starting to creep in.
Momo had finished finding the last book, and when she had, she held the all piled up in her arms as she began to make her decent down the stairwell. Her mind was empty; void of thought, only listening to the orders she received via Chouko's manipulation technique. Had she been alerted of the effect prior to, she may have been able to fight off the effects, though due to her guard being down at the time, she had fallen victim to its full effects. Momo arrived near the front doors of the library, just barely spotting Captain Aurora speaking with her twelfth seat. She blinked curiously, as though she were attempting to remember something, pausing only briefly in her step. Nonetheless, she continued to walk forward, ignoring the Captain, and handing Kyra the books.

"Eh, it was just a sortie, Captain Aurora," she slid her hand over her hair, then looked up at him. It was a perfect likeness to Kyra that she wore, and she had the voice dead on. Along with the camouflaged Reiatsu it was difficult to spot any sort of difference between her and the original. "A quick recon since I just recovered form injuries," she explained a bit further, as she looked him in the eye without flinching, or being shifty. She even smiled at him some as if glad that she received such a light mission.
Matanza prided herself on being a mistress at manipulation, and she had honed her ability to lie to near perfection in the name of fooling people, and turning her enemies against each other, and make pawns of as many as she could. A helpful skill as she didn't like to fight. She liked to catch people off guard, and take them down like an ambush predator, or better yet, have others do it for her.
Still, this one, he was tense, "You're not mad at me for loitering, are ya?" she asked sounding a bit bothered by his tone.
She stood in the way of the door as if she were stupidly there in the midst of a lazy spell, as opposed to blocking the way on purpose to buy Momo, and Chouko time. Hopefully, though, her presence there would be enough to delay anyone.
She received the books, "Ah, you're the best, Momo!" she smiled in what seemed to be a genuinely friendly manner towards her despite having far from friendly thoughts towards the wretched Shinigami.
She cradled the books to Kyra's impressive breasts which weren't the only parts of her body that intrigued her.
Hikaru took a cautious step back, his mind going to full combat readiness. His sapphire eyes scanned over Kyra and Momo's faces quickly, taking in every detail.
Momo seemed to be completely out of it, her eyes vacant and her voice monotone. Not to mention that Kyra never used honorifics, and that Momo always did. Something was very very wrong here.
"Captain Aurora? Sortie?" Hikaru's hand went for the hilt of his zanpakutou, his hand wrapping around the black nylon that entwined the golden handle. "The Kyra I know doesn't talk like that. Who the hell are you?"
His eyes were narrowed into slits, and he mentally began to prepare a kidou spell. Something was definitely off.
Suddenly, a hell butterfly landed on his shoulder, relaying the message of an emergency Captain's meeting.
"What a coincidence...." Fushichou sneered in his mind.
Now he had two options. Ignore the summons and find out just exactly what was going on here, or leave and hope for the best.

Chouko was panicking. Her sword wasn't listening to her, despite the fact that she was following its direct orders. Her sword was her life... it was the only being that she would give far superiority to. Should her sword tell her to do something, she would do it... and yet, when she tried to do it, the emotions she felt from her blade seemed to conflict with her words.
"Murasakicho, why aren't you listening?" Chouko cried out quietly as she held the sword by its hilt, shaking it back and forth, obviously quite mentally disabled at the moment. "You're telling me to do this, but you won't let me... I don't get it; what do you want me to do?!"
She was going to get caught! Chouko had listened to Murasakicho when she told her that Kyra would approach her to find out more about the Hōgyoku. Knowing that no one would really 'give out' information upon the artifact, and due to its obvious confidentiality, Murasakicho had suggested they manipulate Momo into gathering the information for them. Kyra was certainly all up for the idea, but was strict about not getting caught. Despite the obvious laws she were breaking were she to follow her Zapakuto's words, Chouko would always follow the wisdom of Murasakicho. Though her blade had never been able to speak back to her, Chouko could feel a connection nonetheless through their emotions. She could feel various emotions from her sword. Chouko would always talk to her sword, despite being the most quiet during squad meetings. She rarely talked to anyone, and only did when it was absolutely necessary. Her Zanpakuto was the only soul she ever truly connected with... the only spirit she ever truly spoke to... so, why not follow her words... right? Murasakicho wouldn't intentionally put her in harms way... would she?
Momo had yet to greet the Captain, and after the books had been passed, her eyes closed as she smiled briefly, bowing her head in respects to her superior.
"Good evening, Aurora-taicho," Momo's voice was forced, but still held that monotone effect. Just then, her eyes reflected toward a Hell Butterfly, coursing around the Captain's shoulder. "Hm...? What is it? Has something happened?"
