The Wandering Warrior

The streets were bustling and crowded in the Seireirei. People had their shops open and were hawking their different wares throughout the streets. Water vendors were everwhere, and tailors and other amenites could be seen from windows and on small kiosks. It was crowded yet a small wave seemed to be constant in the crowd. The wave was caused by people moving out of the way for a young looking shinigami who sauntered through the streets. He was not physically imposing or threatning in any way. He was in fact smiling, a large dimple on his face. The crowd was moving simply because he was a shinigami.

Shu paid no mind to the people around him, he was used to it, and today nothing could ruin his mood. Shu was headed to his favorite bar and he was going to enjoy himself. As shu neared a building he looked up and sighed. He was here. The Wandering Warrior was a small looking building with a sign out front of what looked like a shinigami drinking from an impossibly large sake glass. Shu smiled and entered the clean looking building ready to have some fun.

Tommyco Chizu was just walking around town after a long day of training when he saw Shu walking into the wandering warrior.

Tommyco says to himself he has not had a glass of sake in a long time.So Tommyco walks into the wandering worrior and takes a set at the bar.Tommyco then looks around to try and find Shu.Tommyco soon spots Shu over on the other side of the bar.

So Tommyco yelled out Shu over here its me Tommyco,long time no see.People in the bar starts to look at Tommyco and then they look at Shu.Tommyco saw every body in the bar was looking at him.Tommyco then yells what are you people looking at?

I was talking to my friend Shu over there not any of you. Tommmyco then looks back at Shu, so Shu how about you and me have a drink on me.Tommyco smiles as he talks to Shu, how about it buddy?

Hayashi Gekidu noticed the two shinigami entering the bar. He was sitting at the far end from the entrance and went unnoticed by the two shinigami. He knew both of them, Shu Ranpu who had helped with his training and Tommyco Chizu, a shinigami he briefly helped train. Hayashi was normally quite anti-social, but he had been drinking for a while and was starting to loosen up.

He got up from his stool and made his way over to the pair stopping at the seat to the left of Shu and sitting. "Long time no see Shu, Tommyco. How have you guys been." Hayashi was holding an extra large bottle of warm sake in his hand, matching his own size. He raised the glass to his lips and took a healthy gulp of the sake.

Shu smiled at Tommyco's yelling as he sat at the bar. He had not expected to find someone he knew and was pleasantly surprised. As Shu neared Tommyco he noticed Gekidu walking up. Shu laughed in delight at this new development. He slapped both of these men on the back as he finished his drink.

<<Alright men lets get a private table where we can talk a little easier.>>

Shu laughed his face a little red. He'd already had a couple of drinks and was beginning to feel pretty good. As the three of them sat down, Shu ordered a large tankard of Sake and told everyone to partake. The atmosphere was nice and light talk proceeded for a time as people came and went from the bar.


<<So guys *hich*......howiz all da trainnnin goin? Everything good? >>

Shu had enjoyed training with both of these men and was curious as to their improvement.

Hayashi noticed Shu was beginning to feel the effects of the sake. Hayashi himself had only reached a quiet buzz, he had built up a pretty strong tolerance to the drink from his days of going bar to bar getting in brawls. It amused him to be around others while he drank.

<< I've gotten much stronger since we trained Shu. I have risen to the rank of 3rd seat in the 8th division. >>

Hayashi took down another large gulp of sake.

Tommyco noticed the effects the sake had on shu and gekidu.

He thinks to him self( I shouldn't drink to much I go crazy when I drink).Tommyco drinks 1 glass of sake.That should be good for now, he sits at the table with his head down.As gekidu talks about his rank becoming 3rd seat and him already knowing Shu is 3rd seat of 7th division.Talking about this makes Tommyco feel like he is always going to be the weakest link.

Tommyco stands up from the table, he then says all the training I have been doing has not made me to much stronger. I always work hard but I am still a low class warrior and you guys are the best the soul society has. Tommyco then buys 3 more large tankard of sake and sits back at the table and starts to drink 1 tankard on his own like he was racing somebody.

Out of the blue he becomes mad and starts yelling at Shu and Gekidu. You guys just love to rub it in. You guys are 3rd seats, so what someday I will be stronger then both of you. Shu I always looked up to you, to spar with you made my day.All i was thinking about was can I win.Someday Shu I will become stronger then you, and Gekidu you was a great teacher it was a fun training with you. But you are the bigest man I ever saw I was thinking how could I take you down.They could tell Tommyco was effected by the sake. Tommyco starts to say, the only thing i have to say too you guys is.Tommyco then passed out on the floor of the bar.

Hayashi watched Tommyco go off on his tirade with a shocked expression on his face. Smelling a fight coming on a slight smile appeared on his face. His hand slid down to his Zanpakuto and he grasped the handle. Just as he was about to lunge across the table Tommyco passed out cold. Hayashi let out a sigh of disappointment and sat back in his seat. "Well, we can't let this sake go to waste." Hayashi grabbed his tankard and finished it quickly. "Hahaha this is why I love coming to the bars! Someone always makes a fool of themselves! Well Shu, we should really get this light weight back to his quarters."

Hayashi got up from his seat and stumbled forward a little. "Heh. . .that sake sure does the job." He bent over and lifted Tommyco onto his shoulder and headed for the door.

Tommyco starts to open his eyes and he finds him self on gekidu's shoulder.Tommyco says what are you doing?Put me down right now or else.

Tommyco then slam his knee into gekidu's gut and then fleps over him. Tommyco then runs over to the table Shu is still siting at you are asking for it gekidu. Tommyco pulls out his zanpakuto and says his release phrase burn the skys kaji masaru!! The blade of kaji masaru becomes on fire and the flames of the zanpakuto are in some ways like a wild fire.

So gekidu you have a fight on your hands now.Tommyco holds up kaji masaru and then out of the blue he throws up on the table Shu is siting at. Tommyco looks at gekidu and says sorry about that lets get started.

Forrest walked into the Wandering Warrior, the place that Shu had showed him not too long ago, it was too bad he had switched squads, Forrest heard a huge crashing sound coming from inside the bar, Forrest walked leisurely over to see the brawl, Forrest saw the two shinigami, one was using there shikai, Forrest saw Shu and walked up to him, he sat down next to him while Tommyco was standing on the table, "Fancy seeing you here Shu!" Forrest had to yell over the sound of the flames and crashing tables and chairs. Forrest then said, "No hard feelings about me switching squads ey?" Forrest looked up at Tommyco and then said quite annoyed "Can you please stop, we're in a bar here, take it outside!"

Hayashi can't help but chuckle at the drunk Tommyco standing before him. He was surprised that he was able to activate his shikai when he was that drunk. Sadly for him, and everyone else in the bar, Tommyco's shikai was fire based. A wild fire in a bar is.....well......not good. Spilled sake on the floor instantly erupted into flames and the wood chairs, tables and bar ignited as well. "Sh*t Hayashi thought to himself. "This was my favorite bar. Well I'm going to have to end this quick." Hayashi pulled out his Zanpakuto and uttered "Grow Your Claws Metotush Kamui". His zanpakuto morphed into two ninja claw gauntlets that were connected by a black chain.

"This'll be fun." A smile grew on Hayashi's face. "Make your move Tommyco."
