With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Daigoro walked into the forst, and sat on a large rock. He decided to increase the output of his spiritual energies from his body, just so Tentura could have some way of finding him easily. He pulled the cylinder marked SOUL CANDY out of his pocket, pushed down on the duck's head and ate one of the pills.
Daigoro felt his Shinigam form being pulled out of his gigai, an decided to simply wait for Tentura to arrive.
"What was I thinking! What am I doing! I should go home!" Tetura was screaming at the top of his lungs whilst walking through the dense forest path. Despite 'not' wanting to go his feet kept trudging forward. In the back of his head a voice cried out You need to do this...don't be scared.
Scared. That's all he was. He was scared that the Shinigami, or whatever he said he was, wasn't what he seemed to be. His insticts told him otherwise, but still the doubt lingered in his mind.
The trees seemed greener than ever, the sky brighter, and the air blew a bit stronger. Closing his eyes he whispered to himself. "You...can do this" Step after, step, now his doubt began to fade. He was ready to face whatever was to come. Whether this Shinigami turned out to be not what he expected, he would face it head on.
In the distance he seen a rather large rock and a clearing in the forest. On top of that rock sit the Shinigami from early that day and his gigai. Walking straight up to the rock he dropped his bookbag and looked up at the rock awaiting the Shinigami's next move.
Daigoro looked into Tentura's eyes. They were filled with fear and doubt. They should be. He knew all about the Hollow. He was the one who killed it, back when he was just an unseated officer, of no true importance. His gaze went to the sky and then back to Tentura.
"You have some unawakened powers inside of you," Daigoro said, "I'm going to help you achieve them, even if it means almost killing you in the process. Understand? Good. Let's begin..." Daigoro flash-stepped down towards Tentura and whispered, "Before we begin, I apologise for injuries you may, and probably will, receive," before punching Tentura directly in the stomach. Sorry mate, you may now think of me as the enemy, but this may be the only way...
(OOC - After a little while of going through this, if there are any powers that you may wish to have awakened, talk to Raven...)
With the impact to the stomach, Tentura flew a good 4 meters before hitting the ground and tumbling back quickly before coming to a halt, dizzy and confused. "Wait wait wait!! UGH I cant fight!" Yelled Tentura as he tried to get back to his feet but his fear overcame him and he sulked back down to his knees. Pathetic. Get up Tentura...get up or die with these words repeating over and over in his head he stood to his feet. "I don't know how to fight.." he whispered under his breath, head down, nearly tearing. "But i'm going to do what I can!"
With these words he took off running at full speed, as if he just seen a hollow, at the Shinigami fists up. As he neared he began flailing his arms hoping for contact. Obviously he had no clue what he wad doing.
Daigoro shook his head and sighed. Tentura had completly missed the point of this exercise. This was in no way an exercise designed to make Tentura stronger. Before even thinkining about becoming stronger, Tentura needed to be calm in the face of physical attacks. As Daigoro blocked or dodged each attack he began to spell out some words towards Tentura.
"Don't just flail about. I'm not making you stronger just yet! FIGURE IT OUT! What is making you weaker, what is holding you back? One word: Fear. Let go of your fear if you want this training to continue..."
Fear..fear..fear.. All that was holding him back from opening his eyes was merely the fear of what was on the other side. Just because he was fighting back, doesn't mean he got over his fear. He was just scared of what was going on. Scared that he was now fighting a spirit so quickly. A spirit. Something he has tried avoiding at all costs for years.
He had to let go. He had to open his eyes and start to see what was going on. His fear kept him from doing so still and his arms continued to flail. Don't be scared Tentura, Dont be scared. ripped through his mind.
As sudden as it came, he opened his eyes without thinking. On the other side he see the Shinigami coming at him yet he was not scared and was ready. He raised his hands this time with eyes open, fists clenched, he through two punches, left right combo at the Shinigami.
During these punches a sense of enlightenment and power struck him. What was going on. He felt as if he was no longer in danger. With eyes open, his fears vanished.
Daigoro grabbed both of Tentura's hands, one just about colliding with his face. "Good. But not good enough to beat me... I am a master of hand-to-hand combat, so attacking me like that doesn't work, but you got close... heheh."
(Sorry if short - didn't have much time to do this one ^^)
It didn't work.... Tentura shuttered a little at the sight of his fist being caught by the Shinigami. Great....what do i try now...all I know is how to throw a punch... So he backed up, worried now, his fears seemed to be gone but now he just didn't know what to do. He knew his trying to fight him head on was not going to do anything...but that was all he was capable of. Calm down...calm down...you beat your fear..you can do this.
Staring, eyes widened, at the Shinigami stand there waiting for Tentura's next move. Looking left and right, seaching his pockets, for a sign on what to do. He began to lower his head. "Nothing...I have nothing.." he murmured under his breath. Upon lowering his head he seen was a rock...just a rock..
A rock....A ROCK! Tentura bent down, grabbed the tiny rock, and rested it in his hands. "Lets do this.." So once again he ran at his trainer, full force, but as he neared he reared back and aimed the rock at his head, hoping to distract him long enough to land some punches as he neared.
Now in arms distance, he threw a few more lefts and rights hoping the rock had worked, even if it had missed.
Daigoro felt the rock collide with the side of his head. Good aim, kid... Daigoro thought to himself, just before he felt the first of Tentura's punches hit him. Ow... He has a good punch, too. But that's not his power... not by a long shot... Daigoro turned again and grabbed Tentura's hands. "Nice try, kid. That actually got me this time. But I'm sure that punching isn't ALL that you can do now, is it? There has to be some power in that head of yours... And if I have to take drastic measures..." Daigoro drew out his zanpakuto slightly, "I will..." Daigoro re-sheathed his zanpakuto before saying...
"We begin again... NOW!" Daigoro flash-stepped towards Tentura again, and began to hit him with a barrage of punches that would knock out a normal human in a manner of seconds. But Tentura just did not fall. He was still standing there, just taking the punches. Daigoro grinned. He's finally managed to calm himself down. Good. Phase two begins soon... Heheh...
What powers!! I have no powers, I can see him and thats it! this bellowed in his head as he covered up and took the barrage of punches until finally he backed up and pushed away. That sword...this can be really bad..
A feeling of urgency began to emerge, a sense of true danger, with the sight of the shinigami's weapon, a force unknown to Tentura began calling out inside of him. It felt as if something or someone was tearing there way out through his stomach, then the feeling began burning his hands and feet. Whats happening to me....AGHHH! Tentura dropped down to his knees in pain and let a low groan. Placing his head between his knees, he screamed in agony. "STOP!"
It didn't stop yet the pain was gone, the sensation was still there, but the pain had vanished. Tentura struggled to gain his equilibrium and get back to his feet. His body seemed soar and he was scared to move. With a burst of effort and a shout of pain, he stood up throwing his arms back in victory.
Upon standing up, a burst of energy spewed foward from his body in all directions, as if a gust of wind origniated from his position. Looking around, he noticed the grass and leaves seemed to be pushed away from him due to the unknown energy spewed from his body.
What just happened... Tentura slowly cranked his neck towards the Shinigami, with a whisper he said "What did I just do..."
