The Child's Cry(Jo)

Jube continued to move forward at top speed, until finally stopping stepping on a thin twig. The twig moved up and down gently, as Jube stood on it and looked down he was hidden by the many other branches covered in leaves around him. He stared as he saw a cave, the reiatsu was so strong and dense that you could literally see it coming out of the cave. Like small blue waves rising up out of the caves mouth, Jube stood there silently. "We are here" he said to Jo-aun as he used shunpou and dashed down to wards the ground, his movements were swift and graceful the shinigami landed silently, Jube was in complete control of his movements. He started to walk to wards the entrance of the cave, he was going to get this over with as soon as he could.

As the shinigami walked closer and closer to the entrance of the cave the reiatsu that was pouring out would wrap around him like tentacles. The reiatsu would not bother Jube though he simply ignored it as he was engulfed by the darkness of the cave and vanished from sight.

Jo-aun stepped quietly through the cave. The pressure of the reiatsu covered her and she said, "Azami: the flower of a thistle."
The pressure became weak and she walked cautiously. Jo-aun heard many cries for help and surely they did not come from just one child. The further She went in the bigger the spiritual preassure.

"Please be safe..." She prayed to herself for the little boy. She heard more and more cries for help as she ventured in. Yet one thought hit her mind of what the Man said, "Your boyfriend over there is smart, he is minding his own business."

She violently shook the memory out of her head as she thought," I have no room for romance in this job." And she pressed onward into the dark cave.

Jube could hear the children crying there eyes out, but he ignored them. There would be no point in setting them free now it would only cause a commotion and make this difficult. Jube wanted to keep it simple, finally the shinigami came to a stop when he saw a bright blue flash. Jube stood behind a wall, watching from the corner of the wall staying hidden. There he saw the round man again, he stood in front of a machine he wore now an odd helmet the man had a child on a metallic table the child's arms and legs were strapped tightly. The man pressed a few buttons and activated the machine, then the child was hit by a blew bolt which engulfed him the child let out deafening screams of pain as his eyes widened and his face deformed itself. His limbs twisted violently, as the blue energy around the boy then transfered itself to the mans helmet.

Jube understood now, this man was no hollow but he depended on the souls of children but on there pure energy. For what reason he wasn't sure, the child's body dried up like a raisin, and turned from a healthy skin color to a dark grey. He was dead, Jube looked over at Jo-aun with his hazel eyes "It wasn't the child he originally took" his voice was calm and collected as if he was not even phased but what he had just seen. Jube then turned his attention back to the man, he unstrapped the child and tossed the wrinkled and deformed body aside, the man let out a big sigh of relief as he licked his lips and tightened his hands into closed fists.

"He's noticed us I think? Can you not feel his body's tempature rising?" Asked Jo-aun with a serene voice. That machine sucked all the soul out of the child and transfered it to his helmet.
Jo-aun grabbed the hilt of her zanpakuto ready to fight the man, untill Jube grabbed her forearm. "We don't need a scene quite yet," He said to her letting go of her arm briskly.

She put it aside and stared at the man as he dragged another child, a small girl, to the machine. Her screams were deafening but what made it even stranger was that the girl had a hole in her chest. "What is that man doing?"

Jube watched quietly as he saw the man drag the child to the machine, strap her down and put his helmet back on. The man began the process, Jube then realized exactly what was happening "He needs pure souls, in order to become stronger" Jube realized this man was a threat, finally the shinigami stepped out of his hiding place. Once there Jube released a burst of reiatsu that made the ground shake, and at the same time released a powerful gust of wind around him. The children's cries fell silent as they felt the gust of wind and the ground violent shake. This was sure to get the mans attention and it did, the man stopped his typing and flipping of switches, he turned to face Jube he had a confused look on his face until he made out who it was. The man gave Jube and annoyed look as he let out an irritated sigh and said "What are you doing here!? how did you find me!?" the man yelled with anger in his tone.

Jube gripped the handle of his zanpaktou and slowly pulled it from its scabbard. "Jube Imagi, 4th seat of squad 6. You have been identified as a threat to the safety of humans. Thereby, if you do not surrender, I will slay you were you stand" Jube's tone was strong and cold as he stared at the man with his hazels eyes piercing gaze. A big grin crept onto the mans face, as he started to laugh "What makes you think you at my level!?" the man smacked his belly, as he grabbed his umbrella and then drew it from it a zanpkatou. Jube wasn't shocked at all "As I had expected, you are a deserter" he said as both he and the man stared each other down.

But the man merely replied,"Two shinigami, and the dessert of kids' souls. Now this is a meal." After he said this he tore his sword in half wielding 2 swords now. "You will have the right to a fair trial if you agree to come to the soul society."

"And if I say no?" He snickered, "Then I will give my friend there the right to slice you into un-recognizable peices. It is your fate take it...or suffer the consequences." She said having her arms in a offensive and defensive stance.

The man let out a slight chuckle, as he held both his zanpaktous and then spun releasing a powerful burst of reiatsu around him that expanded and would slice anyone near it. The man then jumped out of the cyclone as it headed mainly for Jo-aun, and went for Jube. He swung his swords wildly at him, Jube deflected and avoided the swords as he stepped back every time. The shinigami then used shunpou to avoid the mans double sword thrust. Jube was above him, "Hadou 54:Haien" he said as he swung his zanpaktou releasing the sphere of purple reiatsu. The fat man jumped up until he was facing up, he placed both his zanpaktous together in the form of an 'X' and blocked the attack, then deflected it back at Jube. The shinigami raised his zanpaktou, and blocked the sphere the explosion it caused pushed Jube back towards the caves roof and the stone spikes that stuck out of it. Jube stopped himself inches from the spikes, he stared at the man calmly as he rushed to wards him.

Him and the man clashed with one another, over and over. The man spun rapidly heading towards Jube like a tornado. Jube stepped back, as he then slipped to the side avoiding the man and letting him shred the wall to pieces. He was stronger then Jube expected, but the shinigami was not something he couldn't handle.

The whirlwind was coming towards Jo-aun. She used Seki to create a repeling shield as she pushed the whirlwind back and it was heading for the man. She charged at the man using flash step then she kicked him right in the path of the whirlwind.

"Fools, You still don't get it do you? Has it even occured to you as to how I would know the technology to make this?"

"You were from research and developement wern't you?" Jo-aun asked with shock in her eyes. "Yes," he said as the whirlwind engulfed him. "Bon...KAI!"

Jube was clashing with the man when suddenly he was kicked in the direction of the whirlwind. Jube watched as the man was not harmed by the whirlwind, stood in the middle and raised his zanpaktou's to the air "Bankai!". The man was engulfed by the whirlwind as it began to glow a bright purple, then the whirlwind spun faster until finally expanding out wards, the powerful flow of energy pushed Jube back he covered his face with his forearm as he watched the purple cloud of smoke. The man now stood his body was laying down inside the exo skeleton of a giant scorpion, the massive beast was his bankai? Jube quietly lowered his arm as he watched the man he understood now that the man was inside the scorpion and used his head to control its movements.

The scorpion raised its giant pincers, as it arched its tail and then thrust it down. Jube dashed to the left dodging the attack, the stinger pierced the ground as if it were made of paper. Jube rose his zanpaktou as the blade began to glow with reiatsu "Break Kongouseki-Tsurugi" Jube's blade then shattered like broken glass and the empty spot was replaced by a pure diamond blade that expanded and wrapped around Jube like a massive serpent. He stared at the giant scorpion as it stepped back and rose its giant stinger again for a secondary attack.

Jo-aun saw the stinger rise up into the air for the second attack."NO!!" As the stinger came down towards Jube the little boy jumped in the way and was sliced open. Jo-aun gasped for a second but then she drew her zanpakuto out," I never had to do this before to a shinigami but now...You...DIE!"

Jo-aun jumped in the air with her sword glowing brighter than the sun, cut the tail off as a pincer hit Jo-aun Shey and sent her flying as she hit the wall of the cave. She fell unconcious...
