With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
"theres three of them down there and at least one is of a vice captains level." Ko hears in her head. Her hands tightly wrapped around the rope holding her above the roof of this unnamed nobles house. "thanks buddy" Ko replies to konjounosuwatta "why are we even trying to break in here anyway. they will know it was you." konjounosuwatta says in a disapproving tone. "ya well if they would listen to us when we told them what it was maybe they wouldn't have to."
Ko lets her hand slip from the rope when she feels the presence of one of the three guards directly under her. Her hand reaches to her Zonpakuto unsheathing her blade, she keeps it sealed as not to tip anyone off. Ko slashes at the roof three times making a triangle cut. Ko folds her body in half like a diver so that her hands and feet hit their mark at the same time. The roof falls under her weight falling toward the guard. The guard dashes out of the way turning as he unseals his Zonpakuto. Ko pounces forward slashing out with her Zonpakuto. "tsk tsk tsk Care full now we don't want to kill anybody." konjounosuwatta jokes in Kos ears. "hopefully nobody will die tonight." ko replies turning to fend off the other two guards.
MANY MANY MANY YEARS LATER
ko chokkaku Sits watching the sky her short yellow hair resting in locks on her shoulders. Ko wears a long dark brown cloak covering all but her face. Ko has her hand sitting on the hilt of her sealed Zonpakuto. Ko sits with her back against the cave wall her left hand resting on the ground her eyes pointed at the sky as she gazes out of the mouth of the cave. "how long do we have to put up with this." konjounosuwatta Her Zonpakuto speaks into her mind "as long as we have to friend." Ko replies "but its soooo boring." konjounosuwatta says laughing in Ko's head.
Ko spots a hollows reitsu far in the distance as she sighs heavily, forcing her own reitsu even farther out of range, to the best of her ability. "come on its just one fight nobodies here and we can get out of there before anybody shows up. Besides nobody has come looking for use for ages." konjounosuwatta says to Ko. "that's not the point. anyway i am enjoying my vacation. Ko says mockingly. "vacation so that's what we are calling it now. How does self imposed exile sound." konjounosuwatta jeers. "you should learn to look on the bright side sometimes." Ko says giggling at konjounosuwatta. "your hopeless." Her Zonpakuto says chucking himself.
Ko and konjounosuwatta are ripped from their laughter when they hear the screams of souls and humans alike. "this is not good not good at all. we CANT just sit here we cant." konjounosuwatta says inside Ko's head "what choice do we have old friend..." Ko says as she turns her back and walks deeper into the cave.
Nearby, a scholary and mild looking man wearing glasses that were slightly covered by his messy dark purple hair was observing the attack happening. Canas sat upon a tree and veiwed the hollows attacking the souls below him. No one had been eaten yet but that coul all change at any second. "Well I suppose I can't study their attack pattern any longer" he said to himself in a dissapointed voice. He pulled out a small glass orb from a pocket in his robes. The orb contained a ominous swirling cloud of black and purple energy and made those around it feel uneasy. This was Canas's zanpaktou. "Bramimond" he whispered. At that command, the orb shattered and the energy contained in it flowed out like thick smoke and seeped straight into his own body. He winced a little as his own reietsu was tainted with dark energy, it didn't hurt, but it sent chills down his spine. Canas waved his arms outward in a sweeping motion torward the attacking hollows. In the same motion that Canas made, a mass of dark energy flowed out from canas body and swept over the hollows. As the dark energy mad contact with the hollow, it was torn apart. In one clean motion, all the hollows were dead. The souls fled in terror as they were sure they had survived one monster attack just to be killed by something worse. "Oh, I didn't mean to overdue it!" Canas said in a surprised voice to himself. The mass of black energy retreated back into Canas's hand and swirled rapidly and shrunk until it condensed and hardened into a glass orb again. "Well I guess I need to calm them down....." Canas paused. He felt the presence of another shinigami somwhere nearby. "What is another shinigami doing in a place like this?" he wondered aloud. "Maybe I should go see if their in distress." Canas gathered up his books and papers on hollow behavior and dashed off torwards a nearby cave where he had felt the other's reietsu.

Baaird, is about 6 feet tall with spiked red hair, he wears a vest with the spade symbol engraved on the right breast, tattooed on his left and right cheek respectively is a heart and a spade. Baaird is the type of person whose very presence makes the air seem to become and frigid and stale his gaze seem to stare right a persons soul. Slowly he made his way through the forest at the base of the mountain, he had come for a bit of rest but upon his arrival the wheels of fate began to move and he felt the presence of two others. Baaird hid his reiatsu moving through the tree's as silent as a light gust of wind, the captain of the stealth division smiled perhaps fate has a new game for him to play. He got to the base of the mountain closing his eyes and zeroing in on the location of the two spiritual pressures. His lips curved into a wicked smile as two got closer gathering at a nearby cave. Baaird snuck up to the cave entrance arriving roughly a minute after Canas the vizard smiled sliding behind a bush as a shinigami walked near the cave entrance, as soon as he made his way in Baaird would slink to the side of the cave waiting, watching, enjoying the game.
Ko looks over her shoulder feeling the presence of the shinigami as she mutters right on time. she turns back to her path heading deeper into the cave as she feels the presence of the hollows fade.
"see i told you it would all work out, if nothing else you can count on Soul Reapers to do their job" konjounosuwatta says to Ko "Then i guess that's our cue." Ko says while she quickens her pace. " awww come on i was just starting to like the cold damp cave that stinks like ass of bear." konjounosuwatta jest to Ko. "Very funny Very funny indeed. you would think with all the less then perfect hiding spots we have used you would be used to a cave." Ko says giggling to konjounosuwatta. Ko travels farther into the cave taking the tunnel to the left when a fork in the cave appears. "You sure you know where your going" konjounosuwatta says into Ko's ear as she dashes forward. Ko does not respond as she begins to seance she made a wrong choice of directions.
When Ko dashes out into the center of one of the cave rooms with a high ceiling she knows she made a wrong turn. "how do you always manage to find trouble, its like you try to." konjounosuwatta says mockingly to Ko. "thanks that's just what i need right now." Ko replies as she draws her Zonpakuto. "what are you crazy you cant release here it will just draw more attention its hard enough trying to hide the reitsu of that damned relic you wont destroy." konjounosuwatta says angrily.
Ko stands holding her zonpakuto surround by hollows, she looks from one to the other the drooling beast hurling insults at her as they tell her how tasty she looks. "but you wish one of those shinigami where here now don't you." konjounosuwatta says. "Has it really been that long since you have seen me in combat that you doubt my skill." Ko says a grin spreading across her face. The hollows charge almost all at once.
Ko leaps into the air as best she can slicing at the stalactites hanging from the roof of the cave aiming them at the hollows trying to keep up with her. Ko turns useing momentum to charge the group of hollows following her. Ko makes quick work of them slicing as she falls past them useing her shunpo to turn in the air and attack other hollows. "you cant keep this up forever the more you fight the more will feel its pull and come and the closer the other shinigami will get to detecting you, if not all these hollows. I hate to say it but i agree with the run tactic this time. konjounosuwatta says to Ko.
"ya know i think your right but, i also think you have yet to look at our exit." there at the door stands an huge hollow with the body of a bear the legs of a spider the wings of a dragonfly a wicked dragon like tail with spikes and the head of a snake. "oh well that's a whole different story you should run the other way then." konjounosuwatta replies to Ko. "yes cause leading all these hollows closer to the city is my goal." Ko replies as she slices and dices what she can when she catches the tail of the huge hollow coming straight for her. "how did we miss that." Ko says as the tail slams into her driving her to the ground almost hard enough so that she could not recover. Ko rolls and bounces but with the second bounce she handsprings into a crouching position and slides to a stop her back almost touching one of the cave walls.
Canas went from a leisure walk to a full sprint as he ran deeper into the cave. The overall amount of reietsu was rapidly increasing, indicating a battle was taking place. Canas also felt the presence of another source of reietsu, not to far behind. It would seem that whatever was following him, was definitely trying to hide themselves from detection, but Canas was very perceptive about things like this. There was no time to worry about that at the moment, after all, a fellow shinigami was in danger. Canas panted as he came to a stop in a large central chamber inside the cave. There he saw the event taking place. A lone shinigami was cornered against the cave wall as several hollows closed in on her. A over sized hollow that looked like the hybrid of several species of animal stood at the only noticeable exit of the chamber. "Hmmmm, I shouldn't give away my position, too many enemies around. I can't defend myself and her, best to attack whilst remaining hidden." Canas thought aloud to himself, but keeping his voice to a murmur. "Awaken! Bramimond" he whispered as he held his glass orb. Like before, the glass shattered and the black energy flowed directly into Canas's body, converting his reietsu to match the dark aura's. Canas began his rescue, he waved his arm in a small gesture, causing a cloud of dark energy to flow toward the hollows. As the cloud neared the nearest hollow, Canas clenched his fist. In response, the cloud compressed and closed on the hollow, crushing his body. In attempt to confuse the other hollows, Canas waved once more, causing the mass of energy to drag the hollow hollow down a path in the cave and out of site, its shrieks of pain and ager faded and were engulfed by darkness. "So far, so good" Canas thought. As he began to attack the next one, he felt the other source of reietsu that had been pursuing him earlier closing in on their location.
Baaird followed slinking through the winding network of caves as easily as if it was broad day light, he had spent do much time in a cave during his years in hueco mundo he felt completely at home in them. Baaird stay hidden slinking behind Canas who stops as he reaches the large cavern Baaird coming up not to far away he notices some thing A glance?
[/i], he instantly knew he'd been discovered but hopefully not seen. Doubling back he quickly finds a different route towards the cave as he runs down the dark and ominous corridor he spot's a hollow with it's back turned his foot steps no louder than a whisper he steps behind the creature sliding his weapon into the back of creatures spine. The hollow crumpled to the ground without a word, then suddenly another one could be heard, then seen rushing down the hall way screaming, the hollow is surrounded by some sort of strange mist which dissipates, dropping the dying hollow to the ground. Baaird gives half smile and mutters to himself "Sloppy", possibly the last words the poor hollow ever heard as the blade slid down between it's eyes. Finally Baaird made it to the main cave, there he quickly jumped up the walls coming to a stop floating among the shadows of the stalagmites watching the battle before him, with one shinigami busy with the large hollow and one fighting to get their no one probably noticed him sneak in. What to do?, what to do? he could fight and help the shinigami, or maybe help the hollow...[/i]. Reaching into his pocket he pulls out a deck of cards cutting it randomly he looks at Canas, Jack of spades fate has spared you.[/i]. Next he looks at the large hollow with the tail, cutting again he looks, Holding his free hand over his face, his mask forms, The pure white sakura pedal shaped mask with a spade on the cheek and dark endless eyes formed over his face reflecting in the ten hearts. Pushing off from the stalagmite with incredible speed he lands on the base of the hollows neck slamming his hand down as he lands a large purple cero firing out. "Feel blessed my foe, for fate has called you to her side and I have come to deliver the message"[/center]
Ko watches as she sees a cloud of darkness kill a hollow and drag another one off into the darkness. The reaming 7 hollows begin to look around in dismay. The large hollow guarding the door shouts "don't stare do something, we have a job to do." Three of the hollows begin charging at the cave entrance Ko entered. The reaming four lock their eyes on Ko as the rush toward her. Ko leaps forward slashing out aiming at the arm of the closest foe. The hollow maneuvers out of the way not even getting scratched. Ko smiles ducking down and stabbing upward aiming at the next hollow stabbing out of its face through its chin. The hollow jumps upward trying to dodge. Ko pushes upward faster leaping herself and catching the hollow killing it. Ko flips in the air as she hangs upside down she points her hand at the hollow she missed first. The hollow she is aiming at has already turned trying to attack her while her back was turned. Ko uses Hadou 54 Haien hitting the hollow with a blast of fiery reitsu sending its soul to rest .Ko lands her somersault and dashes forward the other hollows she was facing in hot pursuit.
konjounosuwatta begins laughing hearty in Kos ears "you cant win for losing can you . either stay and fight the hollows or run and hide again , you seems to have the devils luck. konjounosuwatta says in Kos ears. "you seems to forget i have you." a sneer comes across Ko's face "LIVE AGAIN KONJOUNOSUWATTA!" Ko shouts. "i can do both." She says to konjounosuwatta in her mind as they chuckle in unison.
After Ko says this her blade vanishes a swirl of orange and green smoke covers Ko . As the smoke clears Ko sits atop a solid gold horse encrusted with jewels for eyes, and a stream of bright orange fire for a mane and tail. Ko is covered in amour which looks to be made of blue dragon scales. Ko wields a shield covered in black dragon scales her Zonpakuto replaced now with a trident four times the size of a normal one. The trident is made of gold, Ko wields it with one hand as if to show off how light it is.
"IF YOU ARE HERE TO HELP, KEEP THESE GRUNTS OUT OF MY WAY!!" Ko shouts as loud as she can. Ko digs her heels into the sides of the horse and charges. Picking up speed quickly Ko targets the large hollow guarding the exit
Canas stared in awe at the figure that appeared before him now. This shinigami seemed to remind him of the ancient gods of human civilization. Her zanpaktou was definitely flashy, yet beautiful. Canas was torn out of his daze when the woman ordered him to cover her in the fight. "Well I guess I need to stop attacking from afar" Canas said to himself, a friendly smile crept upon his face. He stepped out into the open and turned to face four of the hollows. They snarled at him, preparing to pounce upon their prey, yet they held back. A deep fear began to eat away at them. Canas held out both of his arms and the reietsu flowing from his body began to increase. His long cloak started to wave violently behind him as if it was blown by some unseen wind. "Shadow Fire" Canas whispered. A giant flame made of dark purple energy appeared in a corner of the room. A few seconds afterward, another three flames appeared at different sides of the chamber, filling the caverns with an eerie purple light. Canas then clasped his hands together in a violent motion, causing all four flames to converge toward the hollow's location. In a magnificent burst of dark flames, all four of the hollows were incinerated.
Canas breathed heavily after performing one of his strongest attacks. His monocle hung loosely from his face. As he adjusted his eye peice, a hollow in hiding jumped out from behind a pile of rocks. It lunged at Canas, attempting to incapacitate him from behind. Canas yelled in a startled voice, his attacks were slow and took a while to charge, he couldn't react fast enough. Maybe he had ran out of luck
Baaird had stepped aside after his cero attack, when Ko calls for help he smiled and chuckled a little bit, 'Help what would she need help with fate would decide if she lived or died there is no control or choice involved in that!'
[/i]. As he stood there he saw the hollow who had snuck up on Canas, instantly Baairds mind went to the cards 'A jack of spades a rare find indeed it would seem fate has more work for me here'[/i]. Charging forward he jumps at the creatures back slashing across it, the hollow reels in pain spinning around and swiping at Baaird with one claw. Baaird smiles having shunpoed to the creatures right and was now charging a Cero in his hand, ducking under a claw swipe he fires it slamming his hand and the blast into the creatures chest tearing it to pieces. The cero fires through the creature and burns one hollow. The burned hollow spins charging at Baaird who responds by throwing the deck of cards out into the air, the cards flutter through the air like butterfly wings. Baairds hand goes into his pocket and flies out just a fast a small silver streak could seen as he releases a knife sending it soaring through the air through the five of clubs and into the creatures skull killing it. Turning to Canas his voice garbled by his mask he says. "It seems fate has chosen a rather strange occurrence for me to today, normally I end shinigami life not save it. You should thank her for her grace and mercy"[/center]
