With the Captains suffering casualties and heavy injuries on their side, all hope seemed to be lost... until Shinji Hirako appeared, along with the rest of the former Shinigami. Though the aid of the Vizards certainly helped to draw the battle in their favor, it seemed Aizen's power alone proved too much for them.
Lucia Isaksen was having a rather uneventful day. There wasn't much going on in Hueco Mundo and the Espada had now orders for her. Some might suggest that she relax but what would that accomplish? She didn't want to be useless, and seem like she was taking advantage of the Espada's hospitality. Lucia slowly walked down the corridor, her foot steps echoed off of the floor. She cam across a small empty room and decided to rest there. She walked over to a large window overlooking the desert and sat there. The desert was even empty. No hollows were about, and it seemed more lifeless than usual. Lucia sighed as she reached into her pocket and pulled out an ice cream bar from her pocket. "Is there nothing I can do?" she said quietly to herself.
Footsteps began to echo through the halls as Kaimei made his through Los Noches. His giant weapon almost scraped the egdes of the walls in the small hall, but only almost. The short arrancar walked around, hands in his pockets with a slight smile. He always liked a day off, a day to relax and enjoy the fact that he had been smiled upon by a higher entity, and thereby granted a place among the followers of his god. His ghi was open down the middle and ended in a slight V where his pants started. The small peices of mask was almost hidden over his head by his seablue hair.
His eyes soon fell upon the open door, and as he heard the sigh, he could not recist the temptation of looking inside the room. He smiled as he saw a fellow arrancar, a laydie, and one who he had not yet made aquiantences with. Not that he was good with women, not at all, but he was always game for a good conversation and the ocational slap in the face if he accedently insulted the female.
"Oh but there is something you can do." He smiled as he entered the room. "There is always something to do, something to praise in a place like Hueco Mundo, in a place like Los Noches."
Lucia turned around quickly, a bit surprised by the appearance of another arrancar. "Oh" she said in a slightly startled tone. She observed the arrancar with her right eye, the one that wasn't covered by her hollow mask peice which lay hidden behind her icy blue hair that draped over her face. "I wish that were so" she sighed softly. "I have not recieved and order from the Espada in over a week, I'm starting to feel useless." She looked back over the bleak landscape of hueco mundo. She took a bite out of her ice cream sandwich and introduced herself. "I am Lucia Isaksen, fraccio of the Primera Espada" she stated this in her normal, cold voice that reflected somewhat on her personality.
"I..." Kaimei slowly pulled his hands from his pockets, looked at her for a moment, then threw his hands in the air, looked upwards to the right, spread his legs and stood still in the strange pose. "I am the shield of God himself. I am the protecter of the holiest of beings, the shelter of an entity beyond your imagination!" He then fell to his knees, bowed his head and placed his hand on the floor. "I am Kaimei, the first Fraccion of the Espada Dios!"
He sat in this pose for a while, then rose to his feet, dusting off his clothes, smileing at the Arrancar in front of him. "Nice to meet you."
Kaimei quickly sat down on the couch next to the door, crossing his legs and spreading his arms over theback of the couch. "So, no orders huh?"

Lucia stared at Kamei with a blank expression. He acted very strangely, even for an arrancar. He certianly had a flare for the dramatic. "Yes, I haven't even had a chance to defeat any shinigami in two weeks. Not to mention that I haven't spoken to the Primera at all recently." Lucia sighed again and threw the wrapper from her ice cream out the window. "Perhaps you have seen you fair share of battles in the past week?" she asked the man as he sat casually on the couch.
Kaimei nodded and let his head dangle down to his chest. "Yeah, a real good share. And still noone worthy of metioning. None of them even placed a scratch on me. My master sends me on many errinds, but they all just involve killing some puny minion of someone for talking shit about him. And donĀ“t get me wrong, I will do anything my master asks of me, I enjoy killing those sumbags, but it tends to get borring when none of the fights I get in even involve a shred of danger."
Kaimei smiled and put his head back in place as he looked at the woman next to him. She had to be at least a head taller than himself. Most people was. That didnt bother Kaimei though. Power and respect did not come from your height, but from what you could do. And he could do anything his master asked of him.
"Have you had any interesting fights lately?" He asked casually as he threw his head back, looking at the celing. It would be interesting to hear if she knew someone worth fighting.
Lucia sighed once more at his question. "No, I haven't" she replied quietly. "Like I said, I haven't seen any action lately." She gazed upon the bleak landscape of hueco mundo once again, her mind set adrift. "I suppose I could set out to kill shinigami on my own, but I don't see the point if my master doesn't order it of me. I actually don't care about battles and killing, I just want to be accepted and to be of use to my master" she said with a hint of sadness in her eyes. "What's the point of living if I can't have even that?". Lucia realized that she had said too much nad turned around before Kaimei could see the tears in her eyes. Why had she revealed so much of her personal feeling to a person she had just met? Lucia felt she needed to keep better control of her emotions.
A smile began to form on Kaimeis lips. He rose to his feet, walked to the woman in the room and placed his strong hand on her shoulder. "Then we understand eachother more than you realize! I live only to serve my master, and you live to serve yours." He made a fist with his free hand.
"Dont give up my friend. Soon your master will come to you and make give your life meaning again!" His eyes burned with enthusiasm as he tried to give flame to her mood once more. He knew exactly how she felt. He knew exactly how it feelt like to be without purpose, without a sense of home, without a god. And he had no wanting for others to feel like that.
"So you see, the world is not bad after all. Relax, and soon, meaning wil come to your exsistance." He smiled, padded her on the shoulder and sat back down on the couch. Allready an eventfull afternoon.
Lucia continued to hide her face from Kaimei. She wiped a tear from her cheek and then smiled warmly. Was this a sign of weakness? Tears, warmth, and emotions? She tried to dispel these thoughts, and wore her emotionless mask once again. "Is that so?" she said as her voice became cold once more. "Thank you for your words of encouragement" she replied. She did feel a bit better, afterall, she just met someone who was simular to her in at least one way.
