Chapter 1
The moon was obscured by the clouds, but small rays of light managed to shine on the small town as the wind blew the clouds across the night sky. It didnt help that the moon was waning, so it was mostly dark itself. The town was a small mountain village in some unknown part of the world. All the lights were off. The town was quiet as all its residents had gone to bed for the night. Above it all sat a young shimigami watching over his territory.
The shimigami looked as if he was about 17, when in reality he was 125 years old. He had short dark brown hair that looked black in the night. It was kept above his ears and looked tossled like he hadn't showered. His robes were more tight fitting than most and his belt was knotted on his left hip. He looked dishevelded as he sat watching the town. He unconsiously stroked the hilt of his zanpakuto which sat on his lower back as he talked.
<<This is so dumb, I've been here for three months and no hollows or anything unordinary has happened.>>
The young shimigami's name is Shu Ranpu and he has been comissioned to watch over this area of the human world. At first it seemed exciting to him to get out of the academy and get to go to the real world. But, that excitement had worn off with the monotony of his watch.
<<AHHH! Nothing ever happens.....screw this I'm going to sleep.>>
Shu lays down closes his eyes and begins to sleep.
