King Arthur and his men were traveling through the mountains when they came across a strange sight. It was a man standing atop a peak and causing fire to burst out at random places. The wizard then disappeared in a burst of flames and reappeared in a similar fashion in front of the group of knights, proceeding to burst a few more spots into flame before Arthur spoke.
"What manner of man are you that can summon up fire without flint or tinder?" He asked.
Time looked at Arthur square in the eye and responded. "I... am an enchanter."
King Arthur exchanged a glance with Sir Bedevere, a member of the Round Table, before posing his next question. "By what name are you called?"
"There are some who call me... Tim...?" the enchanter replied.
"Greetings, Tim the Enchanter."
"Greetings, King Arthur!" Tim responded forcefully.
"You know my name?" Arthur inquired.
"I do!" Tim stated, proceeding to display more of his powers by causing fire to shoot from the end of his staff. "You seek the Holy Grrrrrrail!"
"That is our quest!" confirmed the King. "You know much that is hidden, o Tim."
"Quite," Tim said before shooting a ball of fire at a nearby tree, causing it to catch fire. The knights applauded his display.
"Yes... We are... we're looking for the Holy Grail... Our quest is to find the Holy Grail," King Arthur said, his knights nodding and stating their agreement. "And so we're... we're... we're looking for it."
"We have been for some time," said Sir Bedevere. Another knight piped in "Ages." as the group all agreed.
"So uh... anything you could do to er... help, would be... very... helpful," Arthur told the wizard.
One of the knights began to approach the wizard asking further for him to help, but Tim caused a burst of fire at his feet to cause him to retreat back to the group of knights.
"Fine," Arthur said. "Um... I don't want to waste anymore of your time, but uh... I don't suppose you could er... find a um... find a uh... a um... a uh..."
"A what?..." Tim asked almost sinisterly.
"A G- a g-g... a g-" the King stammered.
"A grail!" shouted Tim.
"Yes, I think so," King Arthur said as he and the group of knights backed away from Tim a bit. The knights then began to nod and confirm that it was in fact, a grail that they wanted.
"Yes!" declared Tim the Enchanter.
The group began to thank Tim before the wizard proceeded to cause more explosions of fire on a hill over to his side.
King Arther said, "Um... you're a busy man-"
"Yes, I can help you find the Holy Grail," Tim interrupted. "To the north there lies a cave, the Cave of Caerbannog, wherein, carved in mystic runes upon the very living rock, the last words of Ulfen Bedweer of Regett-" he stopped to cause an explosion overhead- "make plain the last resting place of the most holy grail!"
"Where could we find this cave, O Tim?" King Arthur asked.
"Follow..." Tim said as he began to lead the knights, "BUT! Follow only if ye be men of valor, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived. Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth."
King Arthur looked over his shoulder to a knight behind him and said, "What an eccentric performance."
