First off let me say that i think the new rules rock. Getting Shikai and bankai or their equivilants based on posts is awesome. however, why cant the power teir, to a certain extent be the same way. make a certain number of posts (like 500-600) the number needed to get to like 2-3 or something like that. Then when a member reaches 1000 they can attain bankai and move to 2-2 or 2-1 depending. this is just an idea, since right now from my understanding the only way to move up is based on either getting a higher rank like VC or captain, or the admins approval. this is just a way to gauge how much stronger a person can become, through dedication to the site. I think it should be used at all levels. But, hey im just one guy.

we base on how much you've worked by how much you posts. The more you post the better rp'er you become. The better you become at rping the easier it will become for you to attain ranks and such because of this. But their are various ways to increase in tier besides rank. like for example out training we're doing. by doing multiple training exercises or fights. thats considered training. as you train your char will gain passive abilities. like Excellent swordmanship or kidou user, or Shunpo practictioner things like that. When you do you modify your old app with these new passive skills. and if accepted by admins by seeing the training you gain that passive ability and may increase your tier based on how well you rp'ed that training.
The reason why we dont base tier on posts. is because lets say someone has been here for awhile and has like 3000 posts and had only one char. then they decide to make a new char. should that new char get 1-1 instantly? No they shouldnt cuz it devoids the effort of continously working. but no one here really modify's their app so they dont move up in tier. Ranimaru was a 3-1 when he started and now imma 2-1. I got all that rank from fighting/training in posts. cuz i'm not a VC but i'm stronger than most existing Vc's right now. you understand?
