I would like to create a sub genre of hadou called elder kidou. It's basically the same as if I was adding new kidou spells to the list with a few differences.
1. These spells are not assigned a number
2. The spell's incanations are in an ancient tongue, so the incanation isn't really going to be typed.
3. This form of kidou is dangerous to the user and can corrupt and destroy one's body or mind if the user is not careful. Venturing into this branch of kidou is dangerous and should be approached with caution.
4. many veiw this kidou as "evil" so you might be shunned
5. This kidou is difficult to master and one must train for it (learning the ancient script, consistent study etc.)
and none of a low level can really learn this. A captain could more easily perform one of these spells if they are masters of kidou.
6. Canas Genpest is the researcher on this subject and therefore adept to it, however, in no ways does that make him superior in this branch. Just because he discovers the spell doesn't mean that no one can perform the spell better than he can. He is also limited by his tier, so no ultra powerful spells at a tier of 3-1.
7. This form of kidou is not neccasarily better than normal kidou. It just has side effects(Negative for that matter) and functions differently as far as incantation.
In all respects, this form of kidou is just a group of hadou spells that function slightly differently in incanation and side effects.
Or in other words, a hadou spell with a story to it and no number assigned.
Think of it as a precursor to modern kido
