Skill Level: Hand-to-hand: Beginner
History/Background:
Age: Unknown (less than a hundred years?)
Gender: Male
Personality:
Hanataro is very timid and nervous. He tends to be clumsy and easily duped. Hanataro's kind nature and nervousness results him becoming the victim of many bullies and practical jokes. In fact, he even describes himself as, "the most bullied kid in the world."Appearance:
Despite Hanataro's cowardly exterior, he is shown to be very bold at times. After hearing Rukia Kuchiki's story, he attempts to rescue her, despite her recent criminal record and noble heritage. After meeting Rukia's friend, Ichigo Kurosaki, HanatarĂ´ decides to help Ichigo save Rukia, knowing that if he were to be caught he would be imprisoned for betrayal. After watching Ichigo fight for what he believes in, Hanataro decides that he, too, wants to start playing a more important role rather than watching from the background, and begins to carry his Zanpakuto with him.
Another thing about Hanataro, is his ability to forget what it is he's doing during missions. Often times he will be sent to the real world, only to wind up taking a job at a burger joint or at a gas station. He seems to forget what he is doing in many different senarios.
Hanataro stands at one hundred fifty three centimeters (five feet tall), and he weighs fourty-five killograms (99 lbs). His black hair is a bit long and his bangs frame his face. He has light blue eyes.Zanpakuto Spirit:
As for Attire, Hanataro wears the typical shinigami uniform, the black kimono, the white sash, etc... The difference between Hanataro and many other shinigami was the lack of -or at least the misplacing of- his zanpakutou. Instead he wore a white medical bag across his back, each end being connected by a green sash. As of recently he began to carry his zanpakuto on his hip.
UnknownSealed Zanpakuto:
Name: HisagomaruShikai Description:
Hisagomaru is a Katana with a blue handle and a circular guard with a brown sphere or bag attached to it. Prior to its Shikai, Hisagomaru has a red gauge on its blade. Hisagomaru is strange in that it heals wounds instead of causing them. While this would seem to make attacking fairly pointless, doing so fills the gauge on the blade. The severity of the wound determines how much is filled.
Hisagomaru's Shikai command is "fulfill." When the gauge is full, Hisagomaru automatically initiates its Shikai and transforms into Akeiro Hisagomaru (朱色瓠丸, crimson-colored gourd). In this form, it takes the shape of a scalpel. What truly makes Hisagomaru's Shikai unique is that even if the wielder does not know the command phrase to release it, its initial release will still automatically manifest itself once the gauge on the blade has been filled, as Kon, in Hanatarō's spirit-body, found out.Shikai Abilities:
Akeiro Hisagomaru concentrates every wound it has absorbed into one massive attack that is usually initiated with a slashing movement that generates a stream of red energy somewhat similar to a Cero, powerful enough to deal a near-fatal wound to a Gillian-class Menos. Subsequent attacks also have the healing restriction lifted, allowing Hanatarō to attack normally after the transformation, though Akeiro Hisagomaru's form makes that difficult.Bankai Description:
Unknown/UnacheivedBankai Abilities:
Unknown/UnacheivedSkill Level: Kidou: Advanced
Skill Level: Swordsmanship: Beginner
Skill Level: Shunpou: Beginner
Skill Level: Hand-to-hand: Beginner
History/Background:
Hanatarō first meets Ichigo and Ganju Shiba when they attempt to use him as a hostage to escape other Shinigami, but it failed because the Shinigami were from the 11th Division and Hanatarō is from the 4th Division, and the Eleventh Division scorns the Fourth as weaklings. After a lucky stroke of help from Chad, Ichigo and Ganju run away and accidentally bring Hanatarō with them during their escape. Learning that they want to save Rukia Kuchiki, he guides the two to Rukia and heals them after their battles. Hanatarō is later caught and imprisoned, despite the impassioned defense put forth by his sympathetic captors. He is later set free by his friend, Rikichi of the 6th Division, so he can heal Renji Abarai.RP Sample:
Later on, Hanatarō is sent to the world of the living to investigate the Bount invasion of Karakura Town. However, he ends up healing the wounds of those who encounter the Bounts. In this context, Hanatarō mostly appears in the omake segments alongside Kon as comic relief.
Hanatarō accompanies Byakuya Kuchiki to Hueco Mundo and is annoyed when Byakuya uses Flash Steps to go on ahead, a skill Hanatarō is untalented in. When he finally catches up, he is tasked with evacuating Rukia, but is injured when Zommari Leroux uses his Zanpakutō's control ability to make her attack him. However, after the battle, he is healed by Isane Kotetsu who heals Rukia shortly afterwards.
(Eleventh Division Interaction)
"AAAAH!" Hanataro screamed as he was running down the streets of the sereitei, rounding a corner with his hands above his head in a comical fashion as he almost lost his balance just trying to escape the calamity that was to come.
"YAMADA! YOU IDIOT!" A loud voice roared. One of the eleventh division's members -er, a LOT of the eleventh division's members were chasing after Hanataro. He didn't even know what it was that he did anymore, he just wanted to escape it. Well, that went without saying. Not attempting to escape would mean about ten feet in his face.
"AAAAAH! I didn't do anything!" Hanataro yelled as he nearly smacked into the wall rounding another corner. Suddenly, he stopped dead in his tracks. He had just lead himself into a dead end... Sort of. He saw his escape: an entrance to the sewer. Ducking into it, he hid, waiting for them to leave. Wait, he didn't have to! He could just sneak through the sewers to another entrance and climb out!
And so, Hanataro started to walk through the sewers. Wait -didn't he have somewhere to be? He had a sense that he did, but for the life of him, he couldn't remember what it was.

(4th Division Interaction)
Hanataro was beginning to notice that the fourth division, the one he belonged to, was beginning to face a minor shortage of supplies. Or, that's what some of the lower members thought. Hanataro knew it was only a matter of retreiving them from storage, but his former vice captain and current captain Isane, was coming with him. He actually wasn't sure why, but he didn't ask.
They were in the storage room, sorting through the supplies. Some of the boxes were perched rather percariously. "Um... Kotetsu-Taicho? Is this safe?"
"Uh, yes, it should be. It's just the supply room. Uh, we needed to..." Isane glanced around and looked at Hanataro, who was looking at all of the boxes rather worridly. "Hanataro, what are you-?"
Before Isane could finish her question, Hanataro started to shift one of the boxes to the side, only to have the ten crates filled with assorted medicines come crashing down on him, knocking him over.
Isane blinked at him, stepping back slightly. "Hanataro?!" She said, mildly alarmed.
Hanataro climbed out from under the boxes, trying not to let the supplies inside become wrecked enough to affect their usefulness, when he saw Isane's face. For a moment his face drained, and he automaticly bowed and said, "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!"
Isane took a moment of confusion, stepping back slightly. "Um, it's ok I guess?"
Hanataro remembered that Isane wasn't exactly mean, and she wasn't exactly harsh. She was somewhat awkward, although, probably not as awkward as Hanataro was. No one could possibly be that awkward. "R-right."
Hanataro started to straighten out the boxes, trying to see what lies within as he gathered both the boxes and himself. This was a little too awkward for him, but at the very least it happened before Isane and not one of the thugs from the eleventh division.
