Matsumoto is a flirtatious girl who usses her breast to charm men, and to get what she wants. Matsumoto almost always has a dmile on her face, and definatly isnt afraid to show it. Her perky personality usually gets in the way of her Vice Captain duties such as filling out paper assignments. Her perky personality also tends to annoy her Taichou, Hitsugaya. Matsumoto tends to be around people with bigger breast, and tease thoose with smaller ones [ex. Nano].
Even though Matsumoto is a flirty and perky girl she knows how to get serious when engaged in serious combat. She fights seriously, and losses all thaughts about her beauty, because all of it could be gone if she were to die. Matsumoto is also a team player, take for example when the 10th division had there zanpakutou taken away, and had the possibility of having the 10th division demolished. Matsumoto asked the Captain Commander if she could take the blame, since she was the Vice Captain. Obviously he denied that request, saying that a Vice Captain couldn't carry the weight of an entire division.
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Matsumoto has long orange, and curly hair. She has grey eyes, but you wouldn't tell since your staring at her boobies! She almost always had a perky, cheerleader-like smile that tends to annoy Hitsugaya. She wears the normal shinigami Shihakushô. However Rangiku has a what seems-to-be a scarf that hangs from both of her shoulders. During the meetings, she wears a badge, stating that she is the Vice Captain of the 10th division. However, she doesn't usually even attend the Vice Captain meetings so its rare to see her having it.
Matsumoto wears a white shitagi that wraps around her waist, it seems to be that is too long to simply wrap around her waist once or twice, so she ties up the remainder of the belt. On her right side, her zanpakutou simply hangs from her waiste, like most other shinigamis.
This is Matsumoto's everyday shinigami outfit, however when she goes to the real world Matsumoto has been seen wearing a two piece bathing suit [of course showing her breast], or wearing the standard karuka high school uniform -without a bra-.
Sealed Zanpakuto:
Haineko's spirit takes the form of a werecat. While looking mostly humanoid, she possesses a tail, cat ears and pink fur over her body. Her most distinctive features are her large hips and rear, in contrast to Rangiku Matsumoto's large breasts. She is highly mischievous and tends to get bored rather easily. She also seems to enjoy making fun of Matsumoto.
Shikai Description:
The Zanpakutō's form is that of a straight-bladed katana. The cross guard is in the shape of a cat's head, with two triangles on the top half curving into ear-points and the bottom half tapering down into a single point. It has a dark red handle. Rangiku keeps Haineko behind her clipped onto her waist obi

Once Matsumoto releases her zanpakutou turns into thousands of mini blades. Because they are so small it looks like ash. The only thing that does not turn into ash is Matsumotos grip, which she usses to control the hovering ash.
Bankai Description:
Shikai Special Ability: In its Shikai, Haineko dissolves into ash which floats in the air. Though it now takes on the look of scattered ash, each particle is a tiny blade. Rangiku controls the ash to attack from any direction as soon as she moves the hilt, ultimately enveloping and tearing up the enemy. So evidently, Haineko is very hard to fight against in this form. The main attack strength of Haineko comes from how much ash makes contact, thus why it is clumped together. If the ash was to attack the opponent in single particles, the damage would be little to nothing. The ash can cut through objects as easily as a sword would, similar in principle to Byakuya Kuchiki's Senbonzakura.
As Rangiku mentally controls the ash she can make it take various forms. So far she has created a gust of ash which flies towards her opponents and a tornado. This gives her an advantage while fighting groups of enemies. Rangiku has also shown that Haineko can be a defensive weapon as well by having it take the form of a shield to defend against Apache's attack.

History/Background:
Not much is known about Matsumoto's past. She grew up in Rukongai and was rescued by the foxed faced man, Gin Ichimaru. She was once asked by Gin when her birthday was. Matsumoto didn't know because she hadn't been counting the days since she had arrived in Rukongai. She hadn't a father nor a mother in Rukongai, so it was possible that she was orphaned since birth. Ichimaru then told Matsumoto that her birthday would be set on the day that they met. It is unkown when Matsumoto became the Vice Captain of the 10th division despite the fact that she was the one who told Captain Hitsugaya that he was leaking spiritual energy causing his grandmather sickness and why she was getting thinner.RP Sample:
During the Soul Society Arc, Matsumoto first appears with a lazy attitude, using her clevage to mess with men. Never the less, during her report she gained seriousness, showing the she was a worthy Vice Captain, and could preform duties without goofing of. When Momo had a little clash with Kira she was also the one to restrain her when Hitgaya told to arrest them. She then had a little conversation with Hinamori while the latter was being kept in the 5th Squad cells and handed her a letter addressed to her by Sōsuke Aizen, that Hitsugaya had found in Aizen’s room.
When Captain Hitsugaya was fighting the fox faced Gin, Matsumoto was the one who protect Momo from Gins blade, thus saving her life. After his unlawful act, Matsumoto wondered what would her do next. Matsumoto was occupied with her own thaughts when she got a message saying that Rukia's execution would be delivered. Hitsugaya and Matsumoto rush to the Central 46, trying to stop it, only to see that they were murdered.
Following Izuru’s bait, Hitsugaya later returns to Central 46 Chambers upon being told that Momo had been following them. When Hitsugaya leaves, Izuru releases his own Zanpakutō to fight against Rangiku who had been ordered to continue the chase. Despite blocking Izuru’s attacks, the ability of Izuru’s Zanpakutō doubles her weapon’s weight seven times, forcing her to release her own Zanpakutō. She defeats him and then learns of the truth behind Central 46 Chambers. When she arrives at the Sokyoku, she holds Ichimaru’s arm and places her Zanpakutō on his neck, asking him not to move and effectively placing him under arrest. When the Gillian’s Negación field comes down to save Ichimaru however, she releases her hold upon him. Ichimaru then expresses his regret that she could have held onto him a little longer, and that he was sorry. He then bids her a farewell.
When Matsumoto was off duty, Kira goes to apologize to Matsumoto. She tells him to forget everything and have some sake. Hesitant, Kira joins and in the end they get drunk and pass out.
During the Boun Arc, Captain Hitsugaya puts up a team together consisting of Matsumoto herself, Izuru Kira, Shūhei Hisagi, and Yumichika Ayasegawa. Matsumoto was confused about why she was being sent to the real world, and then was shocked when Kira and Shuhei go off to do there own thing. Alone, she runs into Chad, Ururu, and Nova to fight off the Bount Sawatari. The bount recognizes Matsumoto as a shinigami and he tries to have his doll steal her zanpakutou. Aggravated, Rangiku begins fighting the Bount but realizes she is really no match for him and tries to keep everyone above ground. She also tries to cheer up Chad when he blames himself over Ururu's capture. After combining her Kidō with Noba's Bount-sensing capabilities, they are able to detect Sawatari's presence, enabling Chad to hit Sawatari's Doll with an attack strong enough to force it to regurgitate Ururu.
Later, Rangiku and the rest of the Shinigami sent by Hitsugaya attempt to assault the Bounts' hideout, but they are defeated by Ugaki's Doll. Later, when Ichigo Kurosaki, Renji Abarai, Orihime Inoue, Rukia Kuchiki, and Chad also arrive, they are attacked by Ugaki's Doll as well, but Rangiku manages to save Ichigo and Orihime, but she is unable to continue.
During the Arrancar Arc,During the Arrancar arc, Rangiku along with Yumichika Ayasegawa, Ikkaku Madarame, Renji Abarai and Rukia are part of the advanced force led by her Captain to defend Karakura Town against the threat of the Arrancar. When the 6th Espada, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez leads an attack on the living world, she is left to fight one of his Fracción, Nakeem Greendina. After lifting the limit that is placed upon all lieutenants and captains to limit their spirit power when entering the living world, she easily kills him.
When Grimmjow's replacement, Luppi leads the next invasion, she is forced to join in a group battle compromised of Yumichika, Ikkaku ,and herself against Luppi, but is defeated. -of course she was though luppi is crazy xD -
During the New Captain Arc, Matsumoto leads the Shinigami in her division to fight the fake Menos Grandes that appear in Sereitei that the Captain Commander released to test the teamwork within the Gotei 13. Eventually they team up with a member of the third division to defeat them.
Matsumoto is seen later blocking Ichigo and the team's entrance into the Kasumiōji manor under the orders of the Captain-Commander. She engages in a fight with Rukia, only to be stopped by the change of command from the Captain-Commander himself for all Shinigami to invade the noble household instead on the basis of treason. Matsumoto and Rukia are suddenly attacked by dozens of Kumoi's soldiers, each wielding a Bakkõtõ. Matsumoto proceeds to attack with her Shikai, but is outnumbered by the henchmen, who seem to have lost control of their souls and therefore their sense of pain, as Matsumoto deducted herself. She is joined in the fight by Hisagi Shuuhei amongst others.
During the Fake Karakura Town Arc, When Aizen along with his top three Espada attack the fake Karakura Town, Rangiku along with her captain and the rest of the Gotei 13 Captains currently not in Hueco Mundo are seen awaiting for Aizen's arrival.
After the pillars that keep the real Karakura Town in Soul Society are successfully defended and four of Barragan Luisenbarn's Fracción are killed, Rangiku faces off against all three of Harribel's Fracción by herself while her captain takes on their leader, Tia Harribel. Rangiku gets into verbal warfare with Apache and Mila-Rose (as Sun-Sun criticizes them for taking her bait) before releasing. After cutting Apache's arm using Haineko's Shikai, Rangiku attempts an ash twister to surround the Fracción trio, but they all use Cero blasts to drive it away.
She is then quickly pummelled down by Apache alone because she is too tired, though she tries to make Haineko attack from all angles, but the Arrancar blocks it. However, the fight is interrupted when Apache is blasted by a fireball from Momo Hinamori's Zanpakutō. Rangiku is surprised by the appearance of the lieutenant and wonders if Momo is well, but Momo states that she wears her armband as the current leader of the 5th Division, not as Captain Aizen's subordinate. Rangiku and Momo decide to team up together to fight against Harribel's Fracción, but Rangiku is still worried about Momo, pointing out (in her thoughts) that she still referred to Aizen as "Captain Aizen". However, after Momo did all kidō spells by her own, she thinks that Momo is much better than she thought. However, the Arrancar survive the attack and heal their injuries using their Resurrección.
They then activate their Quimera Parca ability, which creates a new, chimera-like creature (which they named "Allon"). Looking into its eyes, Rangiku remarks that it is like staring down a bottomless hole. Seconds later, Allon charges at Rangiku. She tries to use her Zanpakutō to defend herself, but the creature is quick enough to strike Rangiku before she can defend herself, tearing off the entire right side of her abdomen. This scene is much more drastic in the manga than in the anime due to the censorship. The blow is serious enough to incapacitate Rangiku, and Momo notes that it's a life-threatening injury. Momo tries to rescue Rangiku but is also incapacitated, only being saved by the timely arrival of Izuru Kira and Shūhei Hisagi.
As Izuru heals her, Shūhei and Tetsuzaemon Iba are defeated, and Allon advances on them. Just as all seems lost, Captain Commander Yamamoto arrives and easily burns Allon into oblivion with his Shikai. In response, Apache, Mila-Rose, and Sun-Sun then attempt an attack on Yamamoto, only to be burned effortlessly by his Shikai. Rangiku, still wounded, is eventually taken into a barrier set up by Izuru, lying unconscious, along with the other wounded officers.
Matsumoto layed back on a chair, hungover. Two days ago she came back from a mission to the real world. Sent to settle an abnormal amount of hollow activity, and now that she came back she wanted to celebrate. The night before her and a couple of other shinigami had a party, full of sake. And this was the result. Matsumoto layed back on the chair, causing it to tilt. She placed her hand over her hand and moaned in pain. The door opened and guess who it was, Hitsugaya. "MATSUMOTO!" He shouted, obviously pissed. Shocked, Matsumto fell down on the chair hitting her head, causing the pain to grow even more.
''Taichouuuu.'' Matsumoto whined. ''Have you completed the paperwork yet? The 9th division is demanding that the 10th division gives them what they want." Hitsugaya stated. "Well no, but I have an excuse. I came back from a mission, we had a party, and now my boobies are sore.'' She sobbed, poking her breast. Hitsugayas face went red. "Its truee." She said, poking her boobs in Hitsugayas face. "You see?'' Even though Hitsugaya was an ice user, at the moment he was hot as Hell. "Matsumoto!" He shouted once again. He had had it with her so Hitsugaya stormed out, "Get that paper work done." He nagged.
Matsumoto growned, laying back on the chair, poking her sore breast once more. Shuhei then walked on, only to see Matsumoto poking the tips of her oversized breast. "What the hell are you doing?!" He asked, speechless. "Shuhei!" She said, pleased. Losing balance she fell once again, causing her head to her even more. Shehei rushed to Matsumoto, "No, dont worry about me, get the sake." She said, not being to get a firm grasp of reality. In all honesty Shuhei was tired of collecting paperowkr from the Vice Captains, so he decided to get it.
1 hour later
Now both Shuhei and Matsumoto were drunk, and half naked. They were dizzy and their stomach ached. This was Matsumtos and Shuheis work day, but instead they spent it,laying down on a small couch drunk as hell, and half naked. Both were breathing loudly when Hitsugaya walked in. "Hitsugaya Taichou!" Shehei said shocked. "Hitsu-taichouuu, Shehei is forcing me to drink sake." she moaned. Hitsugaya walked out, because if he didn't he'd explode. "When I come back that paperwor-" Hitsugaya stopped himself knowing that nothing was going to get done. "Forget it." He said to himself.
