Name: Tsugiro Koga
Age: Appears about 23

Personality:
Skill Level: Swordsmanship: Advanced
Skill Level: Shunpou: Beginner
Skill Level: Hand-to-hand: Intermediate
History/Background:
Age: Appears about 23
Gender: Male
Personality:
Tsugiro is extremely introspective, and would rather spend time by himself rather than with others. Due to this, most people believe that he has never really taken any part within the walls of Seireitei.Appearance:
While most of the time he seems mopey, he really begins to shine when he believes that nobody is around. His skills with the sword put so many thoughts into his head, that he begins to daydream, and performs some amazing feats. For his level, at least...
In short, Tsugiro has next-to-nothing to do with any other Shinigam, unless he is required to, and will try to spend as much time alone, honing his own skills if possible. This is the reason that he spends his time training in his secluded inner world.
He is also very clumsy on solid ground, due to being used to training in his inner world, giving him another reason for wanting to stay in seclusion from others.
Tsugiro has shouder-length grey hair, and grey eyes. When he is in Soul Society, he wears the usual Shinigami uniform, but with a red sash around his right wrist. He also wears a necklace with red crystal on the end, for memory purposes.Zanpakuto Spirit:
Tsugiro is about 5'9", and of a relatively solid build. He has a scar on the palm of his right hand, but will not reveal how he got it. He wears his zanpakuto with the hilt by his right hip, stretching the sheathe up to his left shoulder.
Rei is as her name describes. A ghost. You can see her, mostly, but the rest of the world is a blur for Tsugiro. The longer he spends in his inner world, the more he begins to see, and the more he realises what is there. There is also no gravity in this world, and so this iswhere Tsugiro does most of his training. This world appears as a great plain, with few buildings or signs of life. It is quite large, even for an inner world.Sealed Zanpakuto:
Rei herself talks in cryptic tones, and only tells Tsugiro what he needs to know if she believes him worthy enough to understand. If she does not think that he can undertand, she will keep the secret to herself until he is ready, even if it is a life or death sitiuation. In this way, both Tsugiro and Rei are extremely similar.
Rei is also a very quiet individual, and has a habit of not allowing Tsugiro to see her, until he has spent enough time in there. Her thoughts of him are quite reserved and secret, and like information about other subjects, she will only give Tsugiro the information if she believes him ready to learn.
Sashiki Rei (cutting ghost)Shikai Description:
It is about four feet long, with a black square guard and dark grey handle. It is also about two inches thick, and has a long dark scratch down the blade.
Remove all restrictions, Sashiki Rei.Shikai Abilities:
The blade of the zanpakuto blurs, and takes on an appearance similar to that of Haineko. But before it completely flows away, it retakes the form of the sealed form, no apparent differences shown.
Sashiki Rei is able to cut 'through' walls, in a sense. If there is a barrier between Tsugiro and his opponent, Tsugiro can cut them, without any visible damage to the barrier between them. The damage to them is as if there was a normal sword, but there are two restrictions.Bankai Description:
1) Tsugiro must have the utmost concentration, and be thinking of very little else for this to work. He can have small thoughts in his head, but if he is attacked, the pain will distract him and cause his attack to temporarily stop.
2) The target must have some sort of high-level Reiatsu signature, otherwise the blade will simply go through them without damage. (anything below the power level of mid-level weak is completely unaffected...)
This attack is also limited to any reach that Tsugiro has, making it basically useless anywhere without Tsugiro's striking distance, but the reason that the zanpakuto itself is much longer than most.
Rei Kabe (ghost wall)Bankai Abilities:
When Rei Kabe is activated, the blade dissipates once more, but this time surrounds a 25 metre radius with a slightly transparent, but solid wall.
When the wall begins to surround the area, everybody within the walls begins to feel weightless, and can literally go through walls. Basically, it turns you into a ghost. Although this seems to give some sort of advantage to the enemy, Tsugiro has trained in a weightless environment, and can fight a lot better in here than he can on solid ground.Skill Level: Kidou: Advanced
This ability lasts until either Tsugiro is killed, he releases it, or somebody manages to cut through the ghost wall, which takes about 5 minutes of cutting.

History/Background:
Tsugiro was born in Rukongai, District 15. He wasn't much of a kid, and was still a pretty big loner, like he is today. His skinny build had people wonder if his parents even nourished him at all, and he was hungry, that was for sure.RP Sample:
One of these days in Rukongai, a group of mongrels were terrorising a group of young children, trying to get them to give up their possessions to of the rogue leader. Tsugiro saw them, and confronted them.
He walked up to them, and put out his hand, just as one of the men was attempting to cut on of the children. This was how he received his scar. He then, for no sudden reason, created a small aura of reiastu around his right hand, and sent the guy through a wall. The rest simply ran.
That was the first time he discovered his power, and it was an uphill run from there on in.
He got moved into the Shinigami academy, excelled in his Kido studies, but still kept more to himself than anything. Due to this, he began to work more by himself, and is mostly self-taught in his skills with the blade.
He found his shikai completely through sheer accident, simply because Rin thought him ready without notifying him first. He was training in his inner world, as usual, when his zanpakuto simply dissolved and re-formed right in front of him. Through utter shock, he dropped it, and it hit the ground, only to leave the hilt poking through. He pulled it out, and Rei explained it to him.
Tsugiro Koga slowly made his way along an unimportant street, in an unimportant area of Rukongai. He was late, but not bothered. He sighed, and looked up to the sky. Is it too much to ask, for a bit more time? To be honest, he didn't care much for patrol duty, but it was time alone, and he RELISHED that time to it's fullest.
As he continued along the street, he heard somebody shout his name. He grimaced. Am I that late? Oh Jeez... Tsugiro began to pick up the pace a bit, going in for a run. The shouting grew louder, and Tsugiro ran faster. As soon as he made it to the shouter, he stopped.
"Tsugiro Koga, reporting in sir!"
Ten minutes later, he was on his way back to the barracks, with a note to his patrol leader, explaining that he was late back from patrol. AGAIN. He sighed. It wasn't his fault, well it was, but he didn't do it on purpose. He just enjoyed having time to think on his own, and he chose to keep it that way... He was just gonna have to do it on his own time.
As he made his way through the large door of the barracks, he tripped. No apparent reason, not a single tripping device to be seen, he just tripped. And fell on his face. Embarassingly.
This is why I would rather be alone... He sighed, pulling himself up onto one knee, and quickly moving into the barracks to be alone.
