Charo is a loud, eccentric person, who has trouble hiding her emotions. She often lets them get the better of her and can only be calmed down by her ‘sister’ Katia. Fiercely loyal to her ‘sister’, Charo doesn’t get along well with others. She only makes friends with people after she has gotten to know them well and is amused when people comment on the similarity of her looks to Katia’s, knowing that people think they are twins.

In fights, Charo uses her vivid emotions to an advantage, allowing her to do unimaginable things to win. She is ruthless and fearless in battle, and covers Katia’s weaknesses with her strengths, relying on Katia to cover hers.

Appearance:

Charo is 5’8 tall, and has black hair with dark green eyes. She wears a standard white Arrancar uniform, with a black belt hanging lopsided over her hips, hanging further down on the right side. Her hair hangs down the side of her face somewhat haphazardly, tapering slightly to an end. Her fringe is angled to the right.

Charo has a slender body, holding herself in a relaxed pose most of the time. She wears black eyeliner, bringing her eyes out, in contrast to her pale skin. Her hollow hole is in her right shoulder.

Arrancar Powers:

Charo has the ability to use fire, and can create fire to cover her body and her sword, allowing her to burn things, and explode after she hits her opponents. The explosion occurs 5 seconds after she hits her opponent and it is not a strong skill. It only damages the opponent, and cannot fatally injure them. The burning is not fatal either, but stays wherever it hits for 15-20 seconds, causes additional damage and considerable pain. These effects differ on the strength of her opponent. The fire armor gives Charo a strength increase, but the armor can be broken, removing the strength increase.

Another skill Charo has is to cause a circle of fire around her in a 1-metre radius. It reaches up to 2 metres high and can block attacks. This can only block relatively strong attacks at most, but cannot block attacks from a bankai or high level shikai, therefore this skill is affected by the strength of Charo’s opponent.

Natural Arrancar Powers:

Charo is proficient at using bala, using it frequently in a chance to injure her opponent quickly. Adept at using heirro, she can block weak-strong zanpakuto.

Excellent at using sonido, Charo can move rapidly across a battlefield,often giving her a slight advantage against her opponent. Her light zanpakuto aids her in rapid movement, and she is very agile and acrobatic while fighting.

Charo’s sword is slightly curved, with the blade widening at the end. The sword is balanced out well, and designed to be light and manourverable. The blade is black with a white edge with the handle being blue.

When Charo goes into resurrecion, a burning armor surrounds the right half of her body, and glows an orange/red colour.
A single wing made of flames hangs from her right shoulder, touching the ground. The wing can be used as a sheild and/or used as an weapon.

Resurrección Abilities::

When Charo goes into resurrecion, a burning armor surrounds her right side, and gives her increased strength and stamina.
When in resurreccion, Charo can form a shield around her, blocking attacks from shikai and reducing the damage from bankai. This is limited however, as when the stronger the attack, the less effective this is, incredibly strong bankai attacks are almost not affected by this.

Another ability is to create a wall of fire that can absorb attacks, but upon absorbing the attacks will explode, damaging anyone near it. The stronger the attack the bigger explosion, although some attacks destroy the wall and can still damage Charo, though not as badly as without the wall in the way

Resurreccion gives Charo increased control over fire.

History/Background:

While Charo was a human, she got involved in drug dealing, and illegal drugs. After overdosing, she was left to drift around as a plus until a hollow attacked her and made her hollow. There was no shinigami in sight. Wandering in the white sands, Charo meet another young hollow named Katia.

Working together, they managed to slowly increase their power. Consuming all the weak hollows they could find, they began chasing stronger and stronger hollows, working out a method of teamwork to defeat and consume them. Finding other small groups of hollows, they banded together to take on big targets.

After consuming an unimaginable amount of hollows, Katia and Charo had become close, and the group they had been with were close friends to them. In becoming close, Katia and Charo chose a last name that would link them as though they were sisters. In consuming the hollows, they became powerful, and were shinigamified and turned into arrancars. After turning into Arrancars they learned everything about the wars, shinigami, Vizards and human souls, as well as Arrancar.

Finding their powers, they spent countless years training, making them stronger and as they did this, their skills became based around each other’s weaknesses and strengths. Alone in a fight they are weak, together they are strong. With the rest of their group being killed by Aizen, Katia and Charo harboured resentment towards Aizen for killing their friends.

Staying at Las Noches, they trained on and off occasionally. More recently they travel around Las Noches and the human world. Charo hates shinigami for not saving her, and wanted to kill them. Only relenting when Katia brought up the reason why they are powerful.

RP Sample:

“Hey, Katia! Check this out…” Charo called out, staring at an open book on the desk. “It says Vizards are shinigami that were hollowfied while keeping their shinigami powers!”

“Really? I thought they might be, with the zanpakuto and all.” Katia replied, not taking her eyes off another book she was reading.

“Well, we found out what a Vizard was, that was easier than I expected!” Charo exclaimed, leaning on the table and looking at Katia. “ Can we get out of this room now? I’m sick of sitting indoors for hours”

“Sure sure, just after I finished this bit…” Katia muttered, trailing off as she went back to the book. Reading intently, Katia didn’t notice Charo sneak around behind her, preparing to slam a thick book closed next to her ear.

SLAM, the sound of the book making Katia jump in shock, as she looked around bewildered. Seeing Charo standing there with a closed book, grinning. Laughing, Katia shut her book standing up and nudging Charo playfully. “So were are we going?” Katia asked, looking over her shoulder at Charo. “ I was thinking we go somewhere interesting, like exploring the rest of Las Noches.”

“Las Noches is boring, haven’t we already gone to all the interesting places?” Charo sighed, trying to think of an interesting place to go to.

“ Yeah, I guess we have…” Katia replied slowly staring at the wall. Hearing a muffled laughter, Katia looked at Charo to see her covering her mouth with a hand, laughing quietly. “What is it Charo?”

Still laughing, Charo didn’t respond to Katia’s question, still in thought about where she wanted to go. ”Charo!” Katia said sharply “what are you laughing about!”

Stopping her laughter, Charo smiled. “ I was just thinking about the Human world… but it was nothing” humming softly, she spun in a circle stopping to exclaim: “ Lets go to the human world!”

Glancing at Charo, Katia saw that she was serious. “Why would we go to the Human world?”

“Eh?” Charo stopped spinning around, and stared at Katia blankly. “Why not? We’re bored to tears in here trying to find out information about everything, which they don’t seem to have, and that other Arrancars could tell us anyway!“

“Imagine the trouble we would cause there…” Katia said, a smile crossing her face.

“C’mon then! Lets get going. To the Human world!” Charo said, grabbing her bag off the table and dancing out the doorway, with Katia behind her, walking normally.

“You never were one to as for directions, were you Katia?” Charo grumbled as they walked along, reaching a forest at the end of the garganta. Satisfied, Katia said “Were in the human world now, see? I didn’t need directions to get us there!”

“Uh.. Katia”Charo said, looking around her quickly, “This isn’t the human world.”
