Personality:

Usually bright and cheery, Kiri acts like an average child. However, due to her troubled past, she occasionally will have moments where she appears to be incredibly sad. However, this will usually pass. She stays close to friendds, and makes friends easily. She is hurt deeply emotionally if one of her friends betrays her. She considers her inner hollow to be her closest ally and friend, although unknown to her the hollow is in fact simply attempting to gain control over her.

Appearance:

Kiri is a small child, with a look that jsut seems innocent. She is short and sweet at almost all times, and can sometimes be seen riding on someone's back, similar to Yachiru. Kiri's skin is pale, and will sunburn easily. Her eyes are large and innocent, although occassioanlly they can be seen with a sad expression, usually when Kiri is recalling ehr painful past. Although her body was heavily abused in life, this had not transferred over to death: her body is scar free.

Typical clothing for Kiri is a small schoolgirl's outfit, which she was loves. However, she does enjoy a good cosplay, so occasionally she can be seen in different outfits. She has gained an Vizard gigai, meaning that she is not required to abandon her body to use her abilties, like other vizard. She carries her Zanpakto around with her, as opposed to strapping it to her body. This is because due to her short nature, it would normally drag across the ground.

Hollow Mask:

The mask is a typical hollow mask, with a skeletal hand over it. If the mask begins to fall apart, usually the outer edges will fall off first, leaving just the hand, and then just a few/one finger(s). Also, if the mask only partially forms only the hand will appear.

Hollow Powers:

Kiri has yet to gain control over her hollow mask, so in life threatening situations the mask will appear, or if Kiri willingly lets it take over. When possessed, Kiri's inner hollow can:

Cero: Fire a Adjuchas class Cero will average charging time.

When controlled by her inner hollow, Kiri's swordsmanship and hand-to-hand raise to advanced. However, her Kido and flash-step are non-existant. She also gains major boosts in strength and speed.

She also gains a much higher tolerance for pain, fighting like a berserker.

Note: NOT when using her mask, this is when she's is completely controlled. {Think Ichigo during Byakuya battle}

Inner Hollow:

Kiri's inner hollow takes the form of a young girl with dark wings. She usually seems rather sad and creepy, although with Kiri she will seem happier. She actually looks a lot like Kiri, only perhaps a few years older. She typically wears a long black dress, and her eyes usually seem dull and vacant.

Kiri's inner hollow is her greatest friend and ally, at least that is how it appears. In reality, the hollow is simply masquerading as a friend to gain control over Kiri.

*Kiri usually call her inner hollow Irik, however Irik never asked her to.

Zampakuto's name:

Meiundai

Zampakuto Spirit:

Kiri has only ever met her inner spirit once, when obtaining Shikai. Since then, the hollow has been the dominant source of Kiri's energy, making it the one that appears in Kiri's inner world.



Even more happy and child-like than Kiri herself, her Zanpakto spirit is a happy little girl, always joyful around Kiri. She rarely, if ever will take anything seriously.

Un-released Zampakuto's Appearance:

Typical in every way except that it is about 1/2 a foot longer than normal. As such, Kiri will usually just carry it around with her, as opposed to carrying it on her hip or back.

Shikai Release phrase::

Cut, Meiundai!

Shikai Appearance::

A large sword, with black marking at the bottom. Since it is nearly six feet long, it is much large than Kiri, and she must use both hands when using it, unless possessed by her hollow or mask activated.

Shikai Abilities::

Currently, Kiri cannot use any of the following without being controlled by her inner hollow, who understands her Zanpakto much better than she does. With training and practice, she could eventually gain the abilities to use her powers without being controlled.

Kiri uses her sword for five different "Cuts" that act as her attacks.

~Kurokai - With a swing of the scythe Kiri can send a wave of deep blue energy at her opponent. Equal in energy to a low-strength kido (20s). The main advantage is speed: Kiri can shoot one out at about 1 per 2 seconds. Able to perform about 100 before being totally exhausted. It is like being normally cut with a Katana.

~Himerkai - By loosening her control of Kurokai Kiri can send a similar wave at her opponent. However, this wave has much more jagged edges, and any wound it inflicts will be much more painful, although not any worse. Requires twice the energy.

~Sutakai - By drastically weakening the power of Kurokai, Kiri can send ten small waves at her opponent with each swing, each wave with only 1/5 of the power of the original. Each swings costs about 2 times as much energy as the original, meaning that she can send out aprox.500 before becoming tired. Like being cut with knife, difficult to avoid.

~Utsurokai - By mixing hollow energy with her Kurokai, Kiri can send out a wave of pure darkness, laced with dark blue. It is almost 10x as powerful as the original Kurokai, although Kiri can only use it 8 times before becoming exhausted. *Only useable with hollow mask activated/hollow controlled. A serious wound inflicted if this hits. Potentially fatal.

~Teishukai - By focusing all of her energy into a single blow, Kiri can send out a wave of enermous power and energy. This will complete exhaust her, causing her to nearly faint. The power of this wave depends on the amount of strength Kiri has left. At full power, it is nearly 100x more powerfl than a regular Kurokai. Very bad if a direct hit, capable of removing a limb.

Bankai Description:

Not obtained, will post it up eventually. Not planning on obtaining anytime soon.

History/Background:

Kiri was born to a loving, normal family that lived near Tokyo, Japan. She was well taken care of as a young child, and grew up as happy as she could have been. However, when she was six years old she gained the ability to see the supernatural world around her, which mostly concerned her seeing hollows. She was terrified of the large monsters, and quickly told her mother of what she saw. Of course her mother never thought that the hollow actually existed, and after a while took her chidl to see a therapist, who simply said that the child was being normal.

However, something extremely unfortunate happened. Word of what the kid was seeing reached the ears of the Japanese mafia, who knew of the supernatural world in vaueg detail, mostly the existence of the "monsters". They planned to attempt to use/train them. However, they had nobody who could see the beats. So they kidnapped Kiri from her home, and took her out to one of their many hideouts.. There she was treated horribly, and soon began to dread living her life like this. Not to mention that she couldn't do anything that the mafia wanted: Namely use the hollow.

After three long years the lack of help that she was able to provide aggravated the mafia, and they began to abuse her all the more. Soon they relized that she was useless to them. However, they could not return her to her home, as she had picked up too much information as the kidnappee of the Mafia. It was decided that she had to be killed. One of the many members took her with him out onto a boot deep into the ocean. There she was tied to several cinderblocks and dropped over the edge at the age of nine.

Needless to say, Kiri died. However, her spirit could not excape from the ocean bottom. Kiri spent a peaceful year there. It was actually much nicer than the horrible conditions she had suffered while under the tyranny of the mafia. However, as the days dragged on into weeks, weeks into months, Kiri became more and more angry at life and the situation. Soon she began the transformation into a hollow. However, her time in the Mafia had actually strengthended her resolves, and she refued to bend to the will of the hollow. With a final rush of effort, she fought off the hollow and ripped off her mask.

All kiri knew after that point was that she was finally free from the bond to her body, and she eventually managed to get to land. She was almost immediately found by a shinigami, who perforemd the spirit burial on her. Once in Soul Society, it was soon found out that she possessed strong spiritual energy, and she was immediately sent to the academy to train as a Shinigami, despite her young age. At the academy she excelled, passing though all the courses in under three years. After graduating, she was quickly assigned to the second squad, where her small size was a large advantage.

However, after nearly ten years in the soul society, her inner hollow began to show itself. She felt the voice within her, but her life was fairly stress free, and the hollow never had a chance to come out. However, eventually it overcame her Zanpakto spirit and conatacted her. She talked to it a lot, and they soon became "friends". However, she knew that the hollow was not normal, and she had heard stories of other Shinigami who possessed hollow. She knew that one day she would be found out, and executed. Fearing for her life, Kiri ran from the Soul Society, out into the real world, where she has resided since.

RP Sample:

Kiri ran down the long hallway of the division barrack. She had stayed to long here in Soul Society, and it was high time to move on. She was almost positive that her captain was onto the hollow that resided within her, and Kiri knew that the penalty for possessing such a thing would be death, no questions asked.

She stepped out into the night, running out into the Rukongai, then further on into the infinite forests that surrounded the soul society. She would have to stay here until she managed to find a way out.

"You know, I could help you with that." Said a voice from deep within Kiri.

Of course! Irik would be able to open a Garganta to the human world.

"Could you please? I would really appreciate it."

The dark sensation welled up from within Kiri, and she held her head up as the hollow took control. A bone hand, made of the white material all hollow masks were made up, appeared on her face. For such a trivial task, the full mask would not appear. Irik tapped lightly on the air, and a large grey garganta appeared in the clearing. It mimicked the garganta of the Arrancar, more boxish and less rough than that of a regular hollow. The mask fell of of Kiri's face, shattering on the ground.

Her eyes filled with tears at the loss of her friends, Kiri stepped through the portal and into her new life.

Now that that's over with, let's move on to the application. I like the thought that you seem to have put into this, but I still have a few concerns.

Hollow Power

Regeneration: High speed regeneration, most wound take only second to heal.

My apologies, but we do not allow High Speed Regeneration to anyone, it's an incredibly overpowered technique that throws off the scales of RPing.

Shikai Appearance

Not to be crude, but the scythe is a weapon that we, as staff, are overly sick of. We see a lot of these flying out of the hayworks as people attempt to be westernized grim reapers.

I have to ask you to change that.

Nice ta meat ya, and thanks ;-). I've been wanting to do a character like this for awhile. It will be nice to start out weak, but with that hollow I won't be beat up by all the big meanies

1. Easy, replaced with the stuff I originally had under the bankai abilities area. *Also slightly changed how it works

2. Also easy, any weapon works anyway. Replaced with some random sword.
