History/Background:
Age: About 275 years
Gender: Male
Personality:
Hiko has a special place in his heart for animals. He has cared for and nursed back to health many birds and other animals. He never was one to enforce peace. He was actually shy his few years in the Rukongai. He stayed away from street fights. This did not mean, however, he was not good at fighting. He studied mixed martial arts. He only fought in controlled situations. This shyness was soon left along with his memories of the Rukongai when he met Shiro. She was perched on a tree with great beauty. She called to him. He thought he was crazy but his curiousity drove him to follow her. She took him to the soul soceity. He was asked if he wanted to join. The dove whispered in his ears to say yes. He was bored of his Rukongai life and needed an adventure. He went through a long process to join and he eventaully graduated. After 150 years of training in his inner world alone and lonely. He reflected on memories and the world. He wished that the Earth and Soul Soceity were like his inner world. Animals getting along. He gained a desire for peace. Shiro had helped put these ideas in his head. She felt bad, but it was his own choice to fulfill the duty of a Peace Gaurdain. Shiro lost his ways of being shy. Loneliness had drove him almost crazy. Meditation helped him survive. Now he is very talkative and very helpful. He is polite and only wishes for the best of others rather than himself. During these 150 years no one spoke to him. He was in the corner of the library. Yammamoto decided to keep him alive and leave him to rest. He was layed to rest in bed unconcious for 150 years. He lived only due to Shiro's doing. She made sure he was healthy in both worlds.Appearance:
Hiko woke up with a new perspective on life. He would protect his friends and the soul soceity. Shiro had taken Hiko to the soul soceity because she believed it would help him on his progression to get strong. Now Hiko is no weakling. He has costly bravery and will sacrafice himself for others. He has a funs die too. Peace requires fun. If things get bored people get greedy. He gets made fun of for his white hair and glasses. He is fun to talk to if he's not blabbing about destiny. He is always on time which also means he's strict on others to be on time. He trains mostly to himself, but is always up for a freindly fight. The world can't stop fighting. All Hiko is asking for is for people not to kill or become greedy. If everyone is at the same level, isn't that the best fight?
Hiko Dragon has silky white hair that flutters in the wind. He tends to stroke his finegrs through it. His hair is somewhat long and covers some of his face. His ears are roundish and small. His nose is a bit stubby and small as well. He has a small mouth. He wears a watch, making him always early to events. The watch also has the same effect as a hell butterfly and can be used to communicate. The watch is gold and shows the correct time. He has long, thin grey eyebrows. They seem to fly off his head almost. His eyes are ocean blue with a tint of indigo and purple. His eyes are normal shaped and are concealed by grey glasses. These glasses bridge his nose and have rectangular lens. As shown in the picture he has a tendancy to move them up similar to Uryuu. He is usually accompanied by a white dove. When not in his shinigami outfit he wears a purple collar shirt with a single pocket. On it are a pair of wings. He roles up his sleeves because the shirt is too long for him. He wears a black tang top underneath that reveals his broad shoulders. Along with that he wears black shoes and black dress pants.Zanpakuto Spirit:
He always has an oversized shinigami outfit. He roles up his sleeves on it as well. If he doesn't the sleeve covers his hands. He never takes off his glasses. He has hard abs and strong legs. His arms are bit skimpy but his shoulders are broad. He has taken up hand to hand combat because his shikai is not a sword. He is still very good with a sword in his sealed state and if ever reached his bankai part two state wields a sword. He seems old and small, but he isn't. He is young and can live up to the age of Shiro if she gives him her youth. He is 165 pounds and five foot seven. His white hair is not dyed but rather natural.
His zanpakuto's name is Shiro Hato, simpley white dove. Her physical appearance is unknown. She has taken a spirit form in the soul society however. She appears as an ordinary dove. Yellow beak, wings, white body, and other usual dove features are what she has. She is no ordinary dove however. She has an immense amout of reiatsu due to thousands of years of peaceful training and meditation. She is looking for a master who can carry out the duty of a Peace Gaurdian. A fighter who fights only to protect and save. Once the gaurdian uses her power in a selfish way she will destroy his zanpakuto and take away any of his power. In shikai she fuses with the owner but still holds back on power. This is for two reasons. One, to not overwhelm the user with power and kill him and second because she doesn't need to. She can unseal her brother instead. Shiro and Akaui were a family at one time. Shiro and Akarui spent years fighting and killing. They would tag team up in what were the ancient soul society championships. They killed every opponent. One day Shiro was faced with the opponent which had killed their parents when they were young. Shiro lost on purpose. She realized anger would consume her and let the man free and forgave him. Akarui was pissed. He wouldn't talk to her for years. He eventually killed the man without mercy. Shiro continued to train peacefuly. The two met in next year's tournament. Shiro was a spectator hoping to find her lost brother. She watched as he killed eveyr fighter he fought. She could take no more and asked for a match against him afetr the finals. The crowd roared at the idea. The two fought. Akarui fought for anger while Shiro fought to protect others from dying in Akarui's hands. Shiro won easily with a white glowing power that Akarui could not match. She sealed him within her body, hoping he would never kill again.Sealed Zanpakuto:
She took him to a field called The Meadows of Light. The area was sealed by advanced kido Shiro had known. Yes they were both once shinigami. Shiro was great at kido while Akarui was great at swordsmanship. Since the two were sealed together they gained each others abilities. This is why Hiko is talented in all aspects. Shiro tryed to change Akarui but there was no hope. Shiro had an idea. The two would work together to establish peace. They would find a master in another ten thousand years and lend them both of their power. Only to establish peace. Akarui was at no posistion to argue. The two trained for ten thousand years together. It si unknown how but the two became zanpakuto spirits. They took the form of doves. Shiro sealed Akarui in him to make sure he would not run away when they exited the meadows. Only Shiro could control seperating at will. Shiro found a boy who seemed to love nature. His name was Hiko Dragon. Shiro releases Akarui in Bankai. She knows that his fighting passion would help the Peace Gaurdian. Shiro learned a new unamed kido that allowed her to bound Akarui from leaving the bankai wielder's shoulder. When he is sent flying for white flames he cannot run away because the bounding kido makes sure he can not leave more than 50 feet from Hiko Dragon. It is possible for Shiro to give Hiko more power in Shikai or Hiko to absorb Akarui in Bankai, but that has never happened, and may not for years to come. The inner world is The Meadows of Light. The only exception is there is no earth. It is just a gaint planet overed in Meadows of Light. This is just a replica. When visiting, Hiko has never seen Shiro or Akarui there. Even their dove form. He usually trains alone.
Hiko's zanpakuto is on the left side. However he is right handed. Dragon believes the left side is more peaceful and so he only uses his sword when he needs to protect, save, or help someone. He crosses his body with his right hand to reach his zanpakuto. The zanpakuto grip is completely white. The bottom of the sword is yellow and the same goes with the gaurd. There is a trail of white diamonds down his sword. The blade itself is white rather than silver. The entire sword makes a thin s-shape. The grip is bent and the blade is bent. This makes the sword seem longer than it is, because in reality the bottom and top are not lined up, confusing the opponent.Shikai Description:
The name of his zanpakuto is Shiro Hato.(white dove) To activate his shikai he must say fusegimasu kudasai, Shiro Hato.(protect me) While saying this he must drop the sword and take the dove in his hands. The sword is destroyed temporarily and will reform when shikai/bankai is over. The dove glows and fuses with his body. When he opens his hands, the dove is gone. Like the picture he gains white gloves. Unlike the picture there is no star on them. Instead the picture is replaced with the number of which gotei 13 corp gaurd squad he is in. They are standard gloves made of cloth. They fit his hand well and glow when he preforms kido. He gains white cuff links that stop him from using Shiro's true power. If he ever removes them, Shiro will take away all his power. The only other diffrence is that he sprouts wings. Two angel-like rather than dove-like wings burst out of his back. It is bloody, but suprisingly painless. He flaps his wings and the blood flys off. He cannot fly using the wings. The feathers do have special powers and are gifts from Shiro. The wings are the size of an angels. Enough to wrap around your body. They droop and can be cut off or cut like a limb. He can move them like a limb as well.Shikai Abilities:
Kido enhancement:Bankai Description:
His zanpakuto is transformed into white gloves. It gives him a boost in reiatsu and able to preform higher kido spells. The gloves glow white when a kido spell is correctly preformed. The higher kidoes take up more reiatsu and he still can't do very high kido.
Holy edge: This allows his gloves to be able to block zanpakuto. This is purely defensive, and has no offensive capabilities. It is purely so others don't cut off my arm.
Hane, Shiro Hato: (Feather)
He can create a barrier using Shiro Hato's feathers. He shakes his wings and a feather falls in his hand. He throws the feather like a dart. When the feather is at the distance the character pleases, he will snap his fingers and the feather will stop. At the tip of the feather a white clear barrier will form, just like any other barrier, it is a dome shape. It can cover anywhere from 6 feet in every direction to 20 feet in every direction. This has the same effect as a normal kido barrier but is stronger and borrows reiatsu from Shiro Hato. This skill takes up the most reiastu in shikai and can be easily broken by a high spiritual attack. He can only preform it once in a battle, due to the amount it uses.
The bankai is preformed by saying resukyuu kudasai, Shiro Hato.(rescue me) He must chant a save me chant to Shiro Hato. If Shiro Hato believes he is truely in trouble he will lend him his powers, some more. He begins to glow and a spirit dove appears on his shoulder. He has the same form except a dove lyes on his shoulder and his body is constantly glowing. The dove is a standard dove put has superior powers underneath. This dove is not Shiro Hato who is fused with the character in Shikai. This dove is Shiro Hato's brother, Akarui Hato.(light dove) He is sealed within Shiro Hato and only comes out when Shiro allows it. This is because Akarui is powerful but dangerous to use.Bankai Abilities:
shiro moeagarimasu, Shiro Hato: (white flame) The character tells Shiro to give the character command of Akarui for one attack. Akarui is launced at the opponent and turns into a burst of white flame. This burns the target. It is fast but not nearly as strong as most bankai attacks. It's his only offensive attack in Bankai. It can be sued mroe than once, but again it is pretty weak for a bankai attack. The flames or burns can be batted away with a spiritual release of reiastu.Skill Level: Kidou: Advanced
Yasuragi, Shiro Hato: (peace)
When Dragon gets sick of fighting he stops the fight. He paralyzes himself and the opponent with a single touch. During this time of paralysis, he will attempt to talk to the opponent. This also gives a break to both fighters. This can last up to four posts. The longer the more reiastu it uses. The opponent will be slightly healed while the character will be healed more than the opponent. This can only be used once and the only reason it heals Hiko slightly more is becasue he is expending reiatsu to make it work. If this lasts up to four posts it will use up a good amount of reiastu almost to the point he can't use mitsugimono. Since the attack is peaceful, it will heal the opponent almost the same as Hiko.
mitsugimono, Shiro Hato: (tribute to maintain peace)
This is the character's last chance. He will sacrafice himself to establish peace. This attack sends him back into his original form with Akarui gone and Shiro on his shoulder. Akarui turns into his sealed state. It is identical to Shiro's besides the fact it is slightly a more yellow color. The character takes the sword and stabs himself in the stomach. Whiel the sword is in his stomach the character gets great kido power. He can only use bakudo though. He can preform a high level bakudo spell now. After the spell is preformed the sword destroys itself and the character is back in his original form. This can only be used once. The wound is formed in his stomach and is the same as if the opponent stabebd him. Hiko gets no privalages. He can only preform Bakudo, not Hado nor a mixture of the two.

History/Background:
Rukongai:RP Sample:
Hiko Dragon's real name is Hikoshamu Dragoonda. He didn't like the name so he shortened it. He lived in the Rukongai for fifty years. His white hair gave people the impression that he was older but he was not. He lived alone and away from others. He was shy and did not make many friends. So to keep him busy he joined a mixed martial arts club. He disliked the fights and tended to avoid any sparring sessions or tournaments. However, he practiced day and night. He became proffcient at hand to hand combat. He spent his years training. He would walk down streets avoiding any that seemed to be dangerous or gang filled. One day he was walking and found an injured bird. It was a cardinal and it had injured it's wing. Dragon grabbed the helpless bird and took it home. He read books about bird anatomy and the diffrent types. He correctly relocated the bone and bandaged it. The bird stayed around his house for a few days. Then it ran away waving it's wings showing he was thankful for what Hiko had done. He could not fly but he was better now. Hiko would talk to his birds. They were his only friends. People would yell and say he's some freakshow, but he wasn't. He truely believed that birds could hear and listen to him. And he listened to what they said from actions they preformed. He searched the Rukongai for injured animals. Some days he would find none, and other days he would find too many. He moved homes frequently to wherever seemd to need the most help.
He had been traveling for 20 years now, searching for the animals, a total of 30 years spent in the Rukongai. In the 31st year he became fascinated with books. He would read everywhere he went. He read mainly books of martial arts and animal anatomy. He practiced what he saw and got very good at hand to hand combat. He was never real good with a sword. He also gained a deep connection to nature and life. He healed any animal, and protected them from other animals. One day he took a vicious beating from a wolf to protect and heal a rabbit. His martial arts payed off as he fended off the predator with a single punch, after being ripped to shreads. He figured if he was no good at swords why try it. Hands can be just as useful. He had potential. He continued to read books. He was known as the librarian of district 4. He stayed int he district sometimes venturing off to find animals. People thought he was weird, but also respected him as very smart. Strategy got him far. Farther than any sword had. He read about human events as well. The ideas of wars and bloody battles kept him away from those books. It was slaughter, what Idiot could enjoy that. He gained a dream of owning the most succesful library in the whole universe.
At around 45 years spent, he grew tired. He would read at home during the night and heal birds during the day. He was said to become crazy. Loneliness and pain overran him. He read romantic and sad books. People losing their love ones, two meant to be never find each other until it is too late, and deaths of children made him even more in pain. He was disgusted by these slaughterous idiots who liked fighting and killing. He sealed himself at home for five years. No one heard of him. No one spoke of him. He was going to change from this instant on. No more shy pacifist guy. Only if he knew that. He heard a bird scream. It was a type of bird he had never seen but read about. The noise matched his suspisions. It was a dove. Hiko opened the doors and ran out. The bird was stuck in a fishing net. Hiko ran up to the net and cut him loose with a fishing knife. The bird flapped it's wings.
[white]"Thank you. It seems I have got caught in this net on accident,"[/white] the bird said. The words came out as the dove moved his beak. Hiko believed he had gone crazy. The look on his face told it all. He was in disbelief.
[white]"Hmm....It seems you have never met a talking dove. I am Shiro Hato. Pleasure,"[/white] the bird said moving his beak and words flying out once more. Hiko was stunned. He studdered to say thank you and after he finnaly did he kneeled down tot he ground.
"You are not supposed to talk," Hiko slowly said. The dove tilted it's head. She made a motion for Hiko to follow her. She flew off and Hiko stood speachless. Was it some crappy dream? Was it a mirage? Was he drunk? He took a step and then told himself it was useless. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. A single peace of white dust landed on his nose. The dove was leaving a feignt trail. He walked in the direction of the white dust. she must ahve known he would eventaully come. Shiro had actually chose Hiko 40 years ago. She was waiting for the right time. According to her she arrived moments before Hiko would have died in his sleep. She saved his life. She spent years watching if he would do well. Every test he gave her he passed. Helaing the rabbit all the way to saving a girl from a lake. The last few years she realized he was learning the power of peace and the neccesity to get rid of evil. Hiko was the perfect subject. She flew slower waiting for him. Hiko ran forward, wondering if he was crazy. He caught up to the white angel of a bird. Maybe one day he would fly too, maybe. He ran across town people yelling and asking where's he late too. He was late for destiny. The bird gently and gracefuly flew without a care in the world. He made it to a gate. It towered above his head. He had read about this place known as the Soul Society. Crazy shinigami who fought to establish peace in their own crooked way. The dove flew right over. The gaurds nodded. It seems this was all set up. The gaurds pushed Hiko inside and showed him the way to his living dorm. He lived with all the other academy students. He graduated early, very early.
Soul Soceity:
Hiko did not spend much time in the academy. He had unbelievable hand to hand combat skills. His kido was above all others. His sword play was average. His speed was good as well. He seemed to use his legs more than his arms similar to Mashiro's fighting style. He graduated with high honors. He was asked what squad he wanted to join, he refused to join any. He was not interested in fighting and socializing. He howevere asked for permission to run the soul soceity library. The commity agreedd it would be okay. He was offcialy placed in squad five but was allowed to spend no time with them and was given the title of head librarian. He would spend all his time there. During this time he read books. One day a dove flyed onto his shoulder. It was Shiro, the reiatsu was undeniable. She whispered in his ears to come with her. He simpley replied yes. His vision went blind. Everything was all white. His eyes felt like they were burning. Shiro later tells Hiko this was one of the times she controlled his mind. Another time was when she first met him. She had also influenced him to follwo her. If she did not influence him with her mind techniques he would have never followed him. She felt bad forcing him into these things. No one is perfect. Control is what you need to create peace. Shiro was peace. Any means necessary right? Peace is hard to control and she needed to what she had to keep it. This didn't make her any worse right?
Inner world years 1 through 150:
Hiko woke up on the floor of a mystical place. Fields of green ran from horizon to horizon. Tree's only grew in select spots. Pools of water were vast. Waterfalls ran from the sky to the ground. Birds flew from tree to tree in search of fruit. Here there was no predators, no hate, no death. Since there was no death, there was no need for new life. Only here was true peace. There was no rulers, no dictators. No goverment. There was no such thing as fire, guns, or weapons. The only thing close to weapons were bamboo sticks paded to not inflict injury. These were to practice swordsmanship. There was a library of kido spells in the forest along with a simple house. He could run miles if he wanted to in the fields. To practice hand to hand he could do drills and work with inatimate objects. The first year Hiko did not do much training. He would swim in the waterfall, eat fruit, sleep in the little house, and read books. He learned all the chants for kido. He practiced them like he had in the academy.
The second year Hiko started to really focus on kido. In total 100 of the 150 years he spent training on kido. He loved the books, the reading. He would spend his whole day reading books of how to preform them, what their origin is, and what their chants are. He would go outside the library and fire them at rocks. To practice Bakudo he would use the spells friendly bears. It did not harm them and he would free them immediately. He lived with the animals as cheesey as it sounds. It would continue to heal them now using kido and reiatsu instead of bandages. He also learned to use kido barriers. Forming and destroying them repeatedly. At year 5 he pondered a question. He knew his zanpakuto's name why could he not preform shikai. The reason was his sword was not with him. It was back at the library. After ten years he practiced less in kido and devoloped speed. The second attribute he spent the most time training was speed and shunpo. He would run through the fields. He realized that the entire planet was covered in these fields. This was his inner world. It hit him quickly.
Years ten through twenty five, Hiko mixed training speed and hand to hand combat. He would run half the day and the other half he would work out his body. On average he would do ten thousand punches or five thousand kicks. He would run hours without break. He forced himself to keep pace. He would run miles every day without stop. Every day his legs and hands would be pushed to the limit. They would feel broken every day. He would soon learn to withstand pain. His training was hard but would help him in the long run. In year fifty, Hiko was sitting on a rock with a harsh waterfall running on his head. The pressure was banging on Hiko's head. He had his legs crossed. His shirt revealing his muscular core. His arms linking to his hands, which had thier fingers slightly touch each other forming a circle. His eyes closed. His glasses off. His pants wet with water. His feet on the rough rock top. The water raged on. His head being crushed under pressure. He was meditating. The most peaceful training. Controlling the body wihtout using it. Making it stronger without pain. It was a peaceful way to train. The waterfall was a test. If you can relax your mind with that pressure you truely had control. At first it was hard. The noise, the power, and the touch was too much. He then focused on something that relaxed him. Kido. Books. Animals. Peace. At peace his mind blanked. He couldn't hear the water, he couldn't feel it. His mind was set. Peace. It is unsure if Shiro tampered with him. Maybe she put these thoughts in his head, maybe not. She was looking for peace but she broke her own rules to create someone peace perfect.
[white]"Will you become the Peace Gaurdian? Will you ensure peace in this world? Both the soul society and the earth?"[/white] a voice whispered in his ears.
"Yes," he said opening his eyes. The waterfall ran down his head and crashed onto the rock he sat on. Even though it is true Hiko made the decision with his will. It may have been influenced by the thoughts she had already put in his head. He would eventually figure it out. He was a pawn to establish peace. In the end he would die. She had picked him as a sacrafice. She would use his body. He looked up. A white katana dropped from the top of the waterfall. It ran down with the water and dropped in his hands. It was full of opportunity and power.
The next fifty years Hiko devoloped shikai. His shikai was not bladed. Everyone he knew outside the academy had a bladed shikai. He realized he good preform stronger kido at this form. His wings were real. As if they were real, natural limbs. They were white and warm. Their feathers drifted in the wind. The feathers were special. They could create barriers stronger than his usual kido barriers. His hands were strong. Those fifty years he had intensive shikai training. He learned new kido and improved his hand to hand combat. He also worked on his speed. He tried to improve the length he could spend in shikai by keeping it on for long periods of times. He practcied shunpo. He figured he had to be fast and strong if he would not have a sword in shikai. He still practiced his swordplay because his sealed form used it and he would eventually use it one day in his bankai part two form. He didn't know about the bankai. He didn't even know what is Bankai. The final fifty years was the hardest, intense training he had. He was going crazy. The loneliness drove him almost mad. Only meditation would cure these symptoms of madness. For once in his life he needed people to talk to. The last time he had gone mad he justed wanted to be alone. Not even Shiro visited him.
He wondered where was Shiro. It was her world. However she never appeared. The truth is he never saw her other than in her dove form. He knew she was hiding her true spirit form from him. He wondered why? The thought was clouded by thoughts of peace and love. Hiko didn't know it at the time, but Shiro was enfusing his mind whith these thoughts of peace. Shiro knew it was the only way to establish universal peace. She would guide him. Was it wrong? One man for the entire universe. A sacrafice that could be made.
Hiko survived from going mad. Meditation calmed him down. He continued to train peacefuly. The last fifty years were hard on him. (Note: If he knows Bankai he learned it here, if not he learns it another time) He felt Shiro's power slowl wear off on him. His intense training for 145 years made him a decent swordsman, expert kido user, great hand to hand combat skills, a great hot body, and a speedy shunpo user. The last year Hiko felt the end. He had counted the years by seeing how old the trees grew from there rings. He relaxed the last year. He knew it was the end because the inner world was coming apart. He became close to his zanpakuto. He became wise and had read many books while here. He also grew wary. He longed to socialize. His fit body would attract attention. The final day the world seemed to slowly disinegrate. The rush of disinegration went toward Hiko, until he, himself, was slowly sent to pieces.
Library:
Hiko awoke as if awaking from a confusing dream. He was in bed covered up by thin white sheets. The window revealed a perky sun that shined in Hiko's eyes. He rubbed his eyes as if he had just woken up. On a white nightanle next to him was his zanpakuto hidden under a white sheath. He sat up in the white bed. He would soon learn he was not prenounced dead becasue Unohana could feel his body was in it's inner world. He ran his fingers over his zanpakuto. The time between leaving the inner world and entering the soul society felt like years, but in fact it was only a mere few minutes. Hiko dropped his hands to his lap and pushed the covers back. His feet dangled before him. He lifted his legs and swung them to the side of the bed. He gentley touched the floor with the balls of his feet. Slowly dropping the heels behind him. He lifted his upper body with his feet. He was wearing a fresh shinigami outfit with a squad 7 emblem. He shook his sleeves as they covered his hands, making his hands not visible. He pushed his glasses up with his right index finger. He was dressed the same, but with new clothes. He walked toward the door, and pushed it open. He was in some backroom of his library. He walked out and greeted a few people.
Hiko regaiend his posistion as head librarian. He had a few assistants until he stuck with one named Haru. His first few years back, he was asked all sorts of questions and spent time at social places such as spas and dorms. It seemed being alone for 150 years made him really want to socialize. It was better than talking to yourself. After ten years he got a bit more quiet. He stayed in his library most of the day. As the years went on he spent more and more time in the library, while he still went out on some days. He still reads plenty of books. He still trains kido in the backyard of the library. One day practicing kido he decided he wanted to join a squad for real. Not the temporary squad 7 he wa spalced in. He would apply for a squad that fit him. He would still carry on his library duty, but he wanted to repay the soul society. He wanted to help protect the soul soceity, and do paperwork!
The day was going slower than time itself. It seemed to Hiko that time was never on your side. When you wanted it to go slow, such as when you are having fun, it goes by fast. When you want it to go fast, such as waiting in a line, it goes by slow. Hiko stood up from his seat at the head librarian desk. A shiny gold plaque had his name on it followed by the words, the head librarian of the soul society library. Hiko liked his name to be vibrant and shown to everyone to avoid confusion and uneccesary sirs, and sans. He picked up the paperwork and ruffled his fingers through it. He straightened the edges to make every single paper edge line up perfectly. He place dit back down with a thud. Unlike other shinigami, Hiko did not mind paperwork. It was peaceful and you got to make decisions. Hiko sat back down and closed his eyes. Habitualy, he raised his index finger and pushed his glasses upward. His epace was quickly interrupted by a loud voice across the library.
[purple]"Hiko-san, Hiko-san. It seems it's time to close,"[/purple] Haru yelled from across the library. Haru was Hiko's library assistant, and pretty much the heir to the throne. The words Hiko-san echoed through the room, bouncing off the walls. Hiko made a slight nod and stood up. Pushing his seat back he grabbed a book he was reading. The histroy of Kido volume 35. He clutched the book to his right side and pushed his seat back into the desk. Walking slowly he searched the library. He wasn't sure what he was looking for. He liked the peace and quiet along with everyone enjoying themselves with books. He smiled. Again, unconciously, he raised his glasses with his right index finger. He could see Haru nerviously waiting tapping his foot in a pattern. Tap, tap, tap, pause. Hiko was one to notice slight details, even in a fight. Hiko walked slowly, almost to the point it drove Haru mad. He was young and surely acted like it.
Hiko walked down the asiles of fantasies. The books let out images just from thier titles. The fiction section. Hiko paused and closed his eyes. He opened them and continued to walk until he reached the kido section of the history aisle. He looked at the book's cover. Yet another great book of the history of kido. He smiled as he took his left hand and flipped through the pages. Full of facts and spells, it was worth reading. He closed the book slowly with his left hand coliding the bakc and front cover together, as far as the bindign would allow. He pushed volumes 34 and 36 aside. A spot just for 35 arose. Perfectly Hiko slipped the kido book into it's spot in the world. Each book was unique. Hiko did not believe in having multiple copies of a book. The library was vast, and full of books. It had two floors each filled with many aisles and rows of books. In the middle of the library was a reasing area. It was full of books and tables. Hiko nodded and made wave-like gestures as he passed the people. They figured it was time to go so they scrambled together asking him if they should check them out. Hiko made a nod saying, no need. He trsuted them to bring them back. They scrambled to the door and evacuated the library. Hiko pushed chairs in that were out of place. He was set on keeping the library a clean, oraginized, center of learning. Chessy, but hey.
[purple]"Hiko-san. With all due respect...,"[/purple] Haru said. The last few words were cut off by a gaze shot at Haru by Hiko. The young gun was getting restless. Hiko looked up. The moon was visible. It's blue light was much nicer than the sun's yellow fluctuated light, he thought to himself. He walked up to the door, careful not to push the limits of young Haru. They stepped outside. A small stone set of stairs exited the library. As he took a few steps down the stairs, Hiko looked back at the library. For a third time, he rasied his glasses with his index finger. Dammit. He watched as Haru closed the doors. There was no lock, no key. Hiko rasied his hands. He used reiastu every day to seal the doors shut. Blue chains of spiritual reiastu locked the doors together. They then became invisible. Haru hurried down the stairs.
[purple]"Hiko-san, I guess I better be off then,"[/purple] He said bowing slighty before taking off. Hiko watched as the boy scurried away like a rat. He almost chuckled. One day, Haru would possibely own the library. While their was a room for Hiko to sleep in the library, Hiko usually slept in the squad 7 barracks on saturdays. The reasoning was simple. The library was closed on Sunday so there was no reason for him to stay there. A white dove flew from the top of the library. It's wings helped it float onto his shoulder. Perched on his shoulder the dove seemed to nessel into his neck. Hiko took two of his right fingers. The index and middle, as a matter of fact and gently rubebd the underside of the dove. By the reaction Hiko saw, the dove was enjoying itself. Shiro Hato, white dove. What a lovely name, indeed, for a lovely bird. Hiko walked into the moonlight. His glasses hiding his eyes. The eyes that are the key to the soul.
