Miu is a reserved and shy girl that gets annoyed easily. She isn't confident in her abilities as a Shinigami and when others question her powers she starts to question them as well. She is also very insecure about what others think of her. She hates it when people make fun of her height but she keeps it to herself causing more people to start picking on her. Miu doesn't ever really speak out of turn and she'll do whatever someone of a higher position asks of her, as long as it doesn't involve senseless violence. She is very soft spoken and many have to strain their ears to hear her when she whispers or mumbles. She is a gentle girl who loves animals, mainly birds. She also loves to sing and with the lessons that Toketsuhime is giving her she is becoming very good at it. She is very polite and meek, apologizing for everything that she does wrong.Appearance:
Miu loves to eat watermelon, strawberries, and pocky. She loves any sweet foods as well. She usually spends most of her pay on buying these foods. She also loves to eat chocolate but has to refrain herself from eating to much in fear of a sugar high. Miu on a sugar high is defiantly a scary sight. She becomes outgoing, blunt, and sarcastic and is considered a hyper ball of hyperness. She loses her insecurity and just starts babbling on and on about non-important matters. Miu hates bitter and sour foods but she loves to eat spicy foods.
She is a very intelligent girl and she always comes up with great plans, but because of her shyness no one ever knows about her plans and she goes unnoticed. When someone asks her if she has anything to say she just shakes her head and says no, in fear that no one will think that what she has to say is a good idea. She doesn't think twice about the Hollows and knows that to protect everyone and to stay alive then she needs to fight them.
When Miu is in her inner world she is more outgoing because she knows that Toketsuhime would never judge her. When she visits her inner world she is always more at peace then when she is in the Soul Society around people who judge others. Miu gets annoyed when Toketsuhime mothers her but she is thankful for it anyways. She knows that she doesn't have to hide anything from Toketsuhime and she can't anyways because Toketsuhime, being the noisy person she is, would find out any secrets Miu has anyways.
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Miu has long turquoise hair that is usually tied up in pigtails and innocent turquoise eyes, the same color as her hair. Her hair is tied up by a pair of red ribbons. She has a petite build and because of this, and her height, many think that she isn't very strong. Miu is only 4'9 and she is usually made fun of because of her height. She only weighs about 98 lbs because of her petite build. She has a more rounded face causing her to have a childish look. Tattooed on her left arm is a red 01 that is underlined. Her reiatsu is an icy blue color.
Miu's uniform consists of a short black kimono, that stops at her mid-thighs, and a white nagajuban. She wears the traditional wide, white obi that most Shinigami wear with a turquoise cord around it. Her zanpakuto is tucked in between her obi and the cord. She wears the same wooden sandals as everyone else. Around her neck she wears a teal collar with a silver lily charm attached to it. In the middle of the charm is a small onyx.
When Miu is in the human world her clothes change drastically. She wears a gray school girl shirt, that's sleeveless, and a dark gray skirt that stops at her mid-thighs. Running along the bottom of the skirt is a turquoise stripe. She also wears a turquoise tie around her neck. She wears dark gray boots that go past her knees, with a turquoise sole. Running across the top of the bots is a turquoise stripe.
Sealed Zanpakuto:
Toketsuhime is a very beautiful zanpakuto with flowing silver hair and piercing ice blue eyes. She is tall, about 5'11 and has a finely shaped face. The most distinct feature about her is that on her back is a pair of wings made solely of ice. On her head is a tiara made of ice as well as her wings. She wears a lovely blue ballgown-like dress that is sleeveless. The dress is low cut and has a snowflake pin on the chest. She wears glove-like arm warmers that flair out when they reach her shoulder. The dress flairs out at the bottom and changes to a more silver looking color.
Toketsuhime isn't mean or cold but she is nice and very gentle. She mothers Miu to no end, usually causing Miu to get annoyed. Even though Toketsuhime is beautiful she isn't vain about her looks. She often offers Miu advice about things that Miu is confused about. She loves to sing and she occasionally gives Miu singing lessons when their isn't anything to do. Toketsuhime is also very noisy, often listening in on Miu's conversations and making comments to Miu.
Miu's inner world is quite beautiful. It consists of a snowy island surrounded by a sea of ice. Instead of the sea being frozen like most ice seas, this seas shifts and ripples, creating mirages. Miuhas named the sea the Mirage Sea for that very reason. The island is like a winter wonderland with snow and ice everywhere you look. Scattered around the island are lakes, some of the lakes are full of cold water while others are like hot springs. In the middle of the island is a huge mountain, with a cave at it's base. Inside that cave a mansion-like home and that is where Toketsuhime resides. The sky above the island is quite peculiar. Instead of the Sun during the day and the Moon during the night, both the Sun and Moon share the sky at each time. The weather is controlled by Miu's emotions. Surrounding the mansion where Toketsuhime stays is a garden full of flowers and fruit. How they grow Miu will most likely never know. Inside the mansion are over 18 rooms and each room is decorated for a person that Miu admires, loves, or is friends with. The room that Miu is in the most is a room decorated with pineapples, sweets, a piano, and many other things. Toketsuhime explained that this room belongs to Miu.
Shikai Description:
When sealed, Toketsuhime is a very beautiful zanpakuto. It's sheath is a pale blue with gold rings wrapping around it, and beautiful silver designs decorating it. It's hilt is a lovely midnight blue with gold designs decorating it and a dark blue ribbon tied to it. The cross guard is gold and the blade itself is silver. Engraved on the blade are designs and symbols. Wrapped around the top part of the hilt is a silver ribbon.
Shikai Abilities:
When Miu says Kikaseru Amanohara (Sing for the Heavens) Toketsuhime changes dramatically. Toketsuhime's released form is a light blue sword that has no cross guard. The hilt is midnight blue with gold designs decorating it and a long ice blue ribbon attached to the hilt. Right where the cross guard is supposed to be is a large light blue gemstone. At the end of the hilt is a small sapphire. The sword is thin but thick. Whatever Toketsuhime touches in this form freezes. Miu doesn't like to use her zanpakuto, relying more on hand-to-hand combat and kido then her zanpakuto.
Mizukikan (Water Mirror)- Water surrounds Miu and acts as a shield from some attacks. Reiatsu attacks that hits Mizukikan get copied as long as their weaker then Miu's reiatsu and Miu can only use an attack she copied once during her shikai. This attack can only shield from kido up to 50. Mizukikan takes up 40% of Miu's reiatsu.Bankai Description:
Hyouden (Field of Eternal Snow)- Miu stabs the ground with the tip of her zanpakuto, causing the ground around her to freeze in a circle that she can make as large and small as she wants. Ice grows from the frozen ground while snow falls from the sky. Anyone inside Hyouden's circle finds it hard to see through all the falling snow. Miu uses this attack to put her opponents at a disadvantage.
Aisutantou (Ice Daggers)- Miu makes a slashing motion in the direction of her opponent and shards of ice fly from her sword.
Bankai Abilities:
When Miu says "Bankai" Toketsuhime changes into a scythe made purely of ice. The blade is a darker silver, almost gray, and looks almost like frozen fire. The snath, or handle, of the scythe is a more silvery color with tints of gray. On the bottom of the scythe is a silver-gray design that looks like a frozen flame.Between the snath and the blade is a very complex looking design. The scythe is about 5'6, taller then Miu by a lot. Like when Toketsuhime in shikai, whatever it touches freezes. If the blade cuts you then the wound will freeze over and the ice will enter your body. Without quick medical treatment then you will die from it. Miu's bankai is called Wabishii Kayou no Toketsuhime (Lonely Song of the Frozen Princess). Miu doesn't really want to learn bankai but Toketsuhime keeps telling her that it is a good idea.

Miu was born Mikazuki, Kiyomi along with her twin brother, Sai, in the Edo Period. Her parents were Ryo Mikazuki and Hibiki Mikazuki. She was born into a noble family and was raised as a spoiled child. When she turned 7 her father trained her and her brother Sai in Martial Arts. Miu was a natural at it and she soon excelled through the ranks. She could easily beat her brother at it and some older children as well. Miu didn't have a lot of friends causing her to become very shy and meek when she wasn't fighting. When she turned 10 she was given the family heirloom, a necklace with a silver lily charm attached to it and in the middle of the charm was a small onyx. A few months after her birthday Miu caught an incurable disease and died a few months after.
Rukongai
Miu ended up in the 75th District of Rukongai after she died and she only survived there because of her knowledge of martial arts. Unlike the others who never got hungry, Miu did and she would end up stealing food for her to eat. For years she wandered around Rukongai, stealing food whenever there was food to steal. She heard people talking about the Shinigami Academy and she never gave it a second thought until a Hollow attacked her, and she barely got away with her life. She promised herself that she would get into the Academy and become a Shinigami. After awhile Miu made it to the Academy and applied for it. She was accepted into the Academy and she trained hard.
Academy
Miu entered the Academy and at first it was hard to get the hang of things but soon enough she was at the top of her class. She excelled in kido and hand-to-hand combat and was proficient at sword fighting. She soon become undefeated in hand-to-hand combat and many thought that Miu would join the 2nd Division but she was skilled in kido as well. During Miu's Academy days she was often teased about how she look and about her height and many said that she wouldn't be able to graduate. But Miu did graduate and at the top of her class.

Sayuri slowly looked around in disbelief. Where was she? She wasn't anywhere in the Soul Society. And besides, it wasn't even winter and there was snow on the ground. She wasn't cold even though she was wearing a short kimono. Deciding that it was better to explore then to just stand around and do nothing, she started to walk towards the large mountain that she spotted. Sayuri looked around in wonder as she spotted hot springs and lakes scattered around her. After what seemed like forever she finally reached the mountain and spotting a cave she quickly ran towards it. She was surprised to find a beautiful mansion inside of the cave. What surprised her even more was that surrounding the mansion was a beautiful garden full of fruit and flowers. Sitting in the midst of a patch of lilys was a beautiful woman with long silver hair. Her eyes were closed and her mouth was moving. The closer Sayuri got the clearer she could her the words that the woman was saying. When she was about 30 feet away she discovered that the woman was singing. Sayuri closed her eyes and listened to the beautiful voice.
After the song ended Sayuri opened her eyes and walked towards the woman.
"Hello, Sayuri," the woman said opening her eyes and looking at Sayuri with piercing ice blue eyes. She smiled gently and beckoned for Sayuri to sit next to her.
"Who are you?" Sayuri asked sitting cautiously next to the lovely woman. The woman chuckled.
"I can't tell you my name just yet," she answered, "but you will find out soon enough. Right now just relax and escape reality for awhile." Sayuri nodded slowly and looked around the garden.
"How can these flowers grow? Outside the cave the ground is covered in snow and in here there is no Sun. Wait, on a second thought how is there light in here?" Sayuri asked. The woman chuckled again.
"Why Sayuri, these flowers are able to grow because of you," the woman answered, "and the flowers all radiate light so that the cave is lit like this. If you were to become clouded or confused then all the flowers would shrivel up and die and the cave would turn pitch black." Sayuri nodded slightly and continued to look around. There were flowers of different kinds everywhere but the most abundant were irises.
"Why are there so many irises?" Sayuri asked turning her attention back to the mysterious woman.
"Because you are now in the 7th Division and their flower is the iris. This shows your joy at being in that Division," the woman explained. Sayuri smiled at the woman.
"You have a very mother-like quality," Sayuri said, "did you know that?"
"Thank you," the woman said smiling. "No one has ever complemented me before. Well I've never met anyone else but that doesn't matter." Sayuri smiled and turned her attention back to the flowers.
"It's so pretty here," she sighed.
"I have a question for you," the woman said causing Sayuri to look at her.
"Go on." The woman suddenly disappeared in a flash of light.
"Where am I?" she asked, the question echoing around the cave.
"What kind of question is that?" Sayuri mumbled to herself before standing up. She looked around.
"By the way," the woman's voice echoed around the cave again, "you only have 60 seconds to find me."
"Thanks for the warning!" Sayuri exclaimed looking around again. She started walking around the garden counting the seconds in her head as she went.
The seconds went by quickly and when they were down to 5 Sayuri was starting to get worried. A flash of blue caught her eye and she spun around to see a beautiful blue rose in the middle of a patch of tiger lilys.
"Found you!!!" Sayuri exclaimed sprinting forward.
3... 2... 1
Sayuri's hand barely brushed the rose before the time ran out. Another flash of light and where the rose used to be stood the silver haired woman.
"Good job, Sayuri," the woman said smiling, "you're ready to learn my name." Sayuri stared at the woman in astonishment.
"My name is Toketsuhime," the woman said before disappearing.
Turquoise eyes fluttered open to see a white ceiling. A part of her knew that she was in the 4th Division but she was so excited about learning her zanpakuto's name that she didn't wonder how she got there. After 8 years of training she finally learned her zanpakuto's name!!!! A smile spreading across her face Sayuri fell into a dreamless sleep Toketsuhime's voice speaking quietly to her.
