Shu is a laid back sort of guy. He enjoys his time off, however he is a diligent worker, and is always striving to improve himself. On top of that he is a pretty ambiable character. He always has a smile on his face, and can make a joke at any moment.

Shu is like a two sided sword personality wise. Most of the time he is ambiable and easy going. But when angered, training or in battle he gets serious, making sure to do his best and push himself to his limit.

Appearance:

Shu is about 6' tall and wiry thin. He is however all muscle. He has very defined muscular features. His face is a strong ching with slightly high cheek bones. He almost always has a smile on his face, and consequently the dimple on his left side is present.

Shu has very short dark brown hair that is about a half inch long. He has brown eyes and his nose is crooked with a left to right bend.

Shu's robes are less flowing than most, being more tight fitting to fit his slender frame. They almost always look wrinkled, and his belt is knotted on his left hip. He wears his wakisashi style zanpakuto on his lower back with the hilt pointing to the left side.

Zanpakuto Spirit:

Shippuu Kire (Hurricane slash)

Shuppuu Kire looks like an falcon, except his tail is pure swirling wind. He stands about 3 feet tall, and his feathers are a greenish hue, with the other normal colors of a falcon infused.

His world looks like the eye of a hurricane, except the walls are black and green in color. The eye has small meadow with a large tree where Shippuu Kire usually resides.

Sealed Zanpakuto:

Sealed zanpakuto looks like a normal wakisashi style blade, the hilt is a slight green color and two small chains come off the hilt.

Shikai Description:

Shippuu Kire

(Shriek Shippuu Kire)

The two small chains at the bottom of the zanakuto elongate and twirl around Shu's left arm, this creates an armor like appearance, and can be used for defense in a pinch (not what they are meant to do). The chains flow down to the hilt where they go inbetween the ring and middle finger to connect to the zanpakuto. The hilt has another blade from the other end making it have two blades on the hilt.

Shippuu Kire can be thrown a distance of about 30 feet, while still being used as a sword.


Shippuu Kire's general ability is that every cut it makes on the opponent has all the air in the opponents body expelled through it causing extreme pain. Each new cut also effects the old cuts so the more cuts the more damage done by the ability.

Shikai Abilities:

Kaze Inee

two forms of wind are formed at each of the blade these forms are green in color and can be hurled at the enemy.

Bankai Description:

Sokue Shippuu Kire Kai ( Total Hurricane slash Reaper)

The blade grows into a single normal sized katana with falcon wing guard. A talon is on the bottom of the hilt. What looks to be feathers covers the shoulders of Shu down his right arm are also feathers, but they are diamond hard, and his right hand has what looks like falcon head with the beak being used for attack. Also one large wing comes out of the left side, and is used mostly to increase speed and for defense.

Sokue Shippuu Kire Kai icreases power and speed, while the same ability as shikai is still active, but more powerful.

History/Background:

Shu grew up in a priviledged part of the Rukongai, never really having any hardships or wants. As time passed Shu realized he was drifting apart from his friends. He eventually realized he was no longer like them, he could control reiatsu! Shu eventually enrolled in the shinigami academy, where he excelled at both kidou and hakuda. He graduated a mid level student, and was enlisted in the gotei Courtyard Squads. He was picked up by the 5th squad, and over the years developed his kidou skills more, while moving up the ranks. He eventually acheived the 4th seat and was Vice-General of the Hadoushuu Corps. Unfortunately, Shu was devestated by the loss of his Captain, and filed for a transfer to another squad. He is currenlty waiting to see where he will be placed, but is confident he can benefit any squad.

RP Sample:

Shu was walking through the forest on his patrol. The sky was a bright blue and there were few clouds in the sky. The smell of pine and other woody smells was strong, and Shu quickly stopped to take a break.

Shu stood back up, and returned to his patrol. His zanpakuto swayed lightly on his lower back as he walked through the forest. Suddenly Shu felt something strange to his left.

As Shu neared the mysterious reiatsu His palms began to sweat and his breath quickened. The reaitsu was strange and almost palpable in the air. Shu took several deep breaths to calm himself.
