Power Augmentation:with the acquisition of the mask via the subjugation of ones inner Hollow. A Vizard gains access to a additional and separate source of power, in addition to the Shinigami powers one already possesses. Hitomi's inner hollow is a tall, skinny man with sharp black hair that is put up in spikes. His eyes are a pure black and he always has a sadistic smile on his mouth. Whenever he communicates with Hitomi he makes hateful comments about her art and makes crude comments about her appearance. He has told Hitomi that when he takes over her body he is going to rip off her ears, tear out her eyes and cut out her tongue, all for the sole purpose that when he returns her body she will be incapable of creating any type of art.Zampakuto's name:

The tassel that was the serpent breaks free of the handle and appears underneath Benzaiten.
The handle of the Zanpakuto turns into a traditional Japanese Shakuhaci, a 55 cm long wooden flute. The flute is used to play music which Happi Benzaiten and her messenger responds to.

History/Background:
Hitomi was born to a poor family in a rural town of northern Japan in the Edo era of feudal Japan. She grew up with a love for art. She took classes in painting, writing, singing and dancing and quickly began to excel in her arts. At the age of 12 she performed her first concert and was received with a standing applause. Her favorite instrument was a traditional shakuhici, a 55 cm long wooden flute. This flute had a beautiful white tassel that flowed down from the end of the flute.RP Sample:
One day while playing her flute at the park she was confronted by a man. The man attacked her, throwing her to the ground and kicking her. Hitomi was very frightened and screamed for help. Her screams were answered. The tassel of her flute exploded in light, briefly blinding Hitomi. When her vision returned a large white serpent stood before her, shielding her from the attacks of the man. The serpent spoke to her and told her not to worry, she had pleased Benzaiten with her beautiful music, and he was a messenger sent by the music goddess to protect Hitomi from harm. He told her to take up the sword attached to his tail and dance. She listened and performed various dances. At the end of her performance, the man layed dead.
Hitomi rushed home to tell her parents of what happened. For some reason they didn't seem shocked or surprised in the least bit. They explained the Hitomi that they were in fact Vizards in hiding. They explained to Hitomi the history of their people, and also what it meant to be a true vizard, one who was born with the mask. Now that Hitomi had began to mature, her zanpakuto would also grow in strength. Hitomi continued to improve upon her art, and as her art improved, so did her strength.
One day while taking in the cool fall air Hitomi was approached by a strange man. He didn't seem to want to hurt her, but at the same time he scared her. They began talking about random things, she thought the whole situation was odd. Suddenly the man asked her what her powers were. Hitomi was confused. She wondered if he knew about her powers. Worried about the man's intentions she threatened him and told him to leave her alone. The man chuckled and walked away, but not before telling her that he would be watching her.
It wasn't long before she saw the man again. One day after a tough battle against a shinigami assassin the man walked up beside her. He told her that the man she just killed was a vice captain of the Gotei 13. Hitomi ignored the man's comments and kept walking. Why didn't you use your mask? The question stopped Hitomi dead in her tracks. Hitomi figured that if he knew about the mask, then he must be a s
Hitomi was woken by light shining through the window of her room onto her face. She slowly opened her eyes and let out a gentle yawn as she stretched out her body. She rolled over and looked at the clock on her dresser, it read 2:30 PM. For a moment she closed her eyes ready to get some more rest, but then they shot open and she had a terrified look on her face. "OH NO! The concerts in an hour! I'm going to be late!" She thought to herself. She jumped out of bed and rummaged through the clothing scattered across her floor. It was amazing someone could live in such disgusting conditions. She through on her clothes and grabbed her trusty Shakuhaci and ran out the door.
She arrived at the theater out of breath and hurried into the dressing room back stage. The whole crew was in a panic. She was due on stage in 10 minutes and she still needed make up and to get into her opera gown. She threw on the beautiful, blue, silk dress and sat down in front of the mirror. Her makeup artist quickly threw on a layer of makeup and Hitomi jumped out of the seat and made her way towards the stage. At the edge of the curtain she stopped to gather herself. She took a deep breath and thought to herself "Showtime". She walked out on the stage with a smile on her face and waved to the roaring crowd. The sound of the thousands of fans cheering was deafening as Hitomi took a seat center stage. The crowd grew quiet and anticipation of the upcoming sounds saturated the air. Hitomi took another deep breath and played her first note.
Hitomi bowed in front of the thousands of cheering fans. She was being showered with roses as she blew kisses to the crowd. The concert was a great success. She left the stage and could hear the crowd still going strong from her dressing room. Her father walked in the room. "Hitomi hunny! That was a terrific show as always!" He said with a large smile on his face. "Thanks daddy, I think Benzaiten was very pleased. I could feel her joy in while I was playing." As she said that the long white tassel at the end of her flute brushed against her cheek like a cat wanting to be pet. "Haha stop it Benny!" Benny was the name she had given to the white serpent that appeared on that day. "Hitomi why don't you let me and mom drive you home today?" her dad was worried that she would get in trouble if she walked home by herself. The streets at night were not safe. "No thanks daddy, I like taking in the air after a concert. It gets muggy up on the stage." Hitomi finished up back stage and made her way down the city street towards her house.
As she walked she whistled a cheerful tune. Soon she noticed a man was following her. She stopped and turned around, "Can I help you?" The man was wearing a black and white outfit and carried a katana. "Hitomi Senritsu, I am Titzu Aranturanta. The soul society has become aware of you being a true vizard, I am her to kill you." The bluntness of the man's introduction struck Hitomi as odd. "Well, you don't mind if a girl defends herself do you?"
Hitomi bowed as if she were bowing to an audience and then turned to walk away from the lifeless corpse. She resumed whistling her cheerful tune and gently stroked the scales of the still released Benny. "You know Benny, this is getting quite annoying. Thats the fourth shinigami this month!" Benny purred as Hitomi's fingers gently caressed his skin. "Well, I'm tired, lets go home and get some sleep. Hitomi continued down the road until she was no longer visible from the location of the corpse, and she faded away into the night leaving only the faint whistle of her song behind.
"Why didn't you use your mask?" The question stopped Hitomi dead in her tracks. Hitomi figured that if he knew about the mask, then he must be a shinigami. She drew her zanpakuto and attacked the man. She threw everything she had at him, but the whole time he just parried the attacks with a smile on his face. "Come on and use it. You need it, or else you will die." The man taunted. Hitomi had only used the mask once before. She had no memory of that battle and decided not to use the mask again. The man went on the offensive. He inflicted wound after wound on Hitomi until she was bloodied and lying on the ground. "Tch....such a waste, if you showed me your mask I wouldn't of had to kill you." The man lifted his sword and thrust it down for the final blow. The attacks was pushed back by an explosion of reiatsu. When the dust cleared Hitomi was standing there with a hollow mask over her face. "Excellent! She is a true vizard! Haha! A strong one at that." The man seemed gleeful at the sight of the mask.
Hitomi lunged forward letting out an inhuman shriek as she attacked the man. "Ah hah.....I see. She loses control when she puts the mask on." The man went back on the offensive. The battle lasted a while, but in the end the man defeated Hitomi causing her mask to break and disappear. Hitomi opened her eyes for a moment but then blacked out at the feet of the man.
Hitomi slowly waked in the park where the battle began. "Wha...what happened?" she though to herself. "Ah, your awake. Good." Hitomi jumped at the man's voice. "You! What did you do to me?!" Hitomi went to grab her zanpakuto but came up empty handed. "Looking for this?" The man said. "I thought you might get a little excited when you woke up so I went ahead and took this. You don't remember it do you?" Hitomi was confused. "Remember what?" The man smiled "You put on your mask." Hitomi went pale. "Damnit" she thought to herself. "Listen, that mask can give you great power, but you must learn to control it. I can teach you how." The man got up and began walking away. "Wait! Where are you going!? Whats your name?! Give me back my zanpakuto!" She yelled from the bench. The man looked over his shoulder, "If you want to learn how to control your mask go to the temple at the top of the hill just outside of town. Thats where you can get my name, and your zanpakuto back." The man kept going and soon disappeared.

Battle Example:
Hitomi stood glaring at the shinigami standing before her. He wore a white haori and was covered in many scars.
"Who are you and why are you here?" It wasn't so much a question as it were a demand.
The Shinigami ginned fiercely. "So you're the vizard thats been giving us so many problems huh? You don't look very took. My name is unimportant. I don't believe in that honor in fighting bullshit. Just know that you're going to die." The shinigami disappeared and reappeared standing before her leading with his fist into her stomach.
Hitomi was sent flying by the attack. She hit the ground with a hard thud and slid for a few feet. "Damnit...." she thought to himself. This man was leagues beyond the previous shinigami she had fought. "I can't fool around with this one. Flow Shikisha." The tassel at the end of Hitomi's zanpakuto grew into a large white serpent. It encircled her and faced the shinigami. "This is my friend Benny. With him her you cannot harm me."
The shinigami let out a loud laugh. "I can't hurt you huh? You shouldn't be worried about being hurt.....this will be over before you can even feel the pain. Shock the world Hayorina." The blade of the shinigami's blade became illuminated and sparks started to shoot off. He burst forward with great speed and swung wildly at Hitomit.
"Dance of the Sheild." Hitomi began moving elegantly as she danced quickly through the motions. Benny wrapped itself around Hitomi and the slashes from the shinigami arrived. The shinigami's blade bounced off of Benny's scales showing no effect on the serpent.
The Shinigami jumped back and his face grew more serious. "This is going to be tougher than I thought. I can see why the others had a problem with this one." As he stood there Benny unraveled from around Hitomi revealing that she was already in the middle of another dance. "Dance of the River." she muttered. Her movements flowed smoothly like water trickling over the sediment at the base of a river. Benny's eyes glows bright blue and he opened his mouth. Mass amounts of water blast out of his mouth towards the shinigami consuming him in a raging torrent. The river carried the shinigami, slamming him into a building and then continuing to flow into him, pinning him against the wall. Water started to fill the shinigami's lungs. "Ban-Kai!"
An explosion of electricity pushed back the attack. The shinigami's zanpakuto morphed into a large electrified warhammer. "This is my bankai vizard, and it is the end for you." He jumped into the air charging the hammer with more electricity and came down slamming the hammer towards Hitomi's head. Hitomi smiked, "Listen to the Music of Shikisha and Dance Benzaiten!"
The shinigami's hammer came down but was met with something metallic. "This is my bankai shinigami. Meet Benzaiten, the goddess of music." A large metallic statue stood before the shinigami. It was a woman with eight arms. In each of the arms was a different item. One arm was raised over Hitomi's head holding a shield, protecting her from attack. Hitomi's zanpakuto had morphed into a flute and Benny had become disassociated from the handle. "Song of blindness." Hitomi began playing a hypnotizing song. The Shinigami began to lose his vision.
He rubbed his eyes and tried to calm down. "What is this?!" he was scared. "When my song is over, your sight will be gone." The shinigami pointed his hammer to the skies. "Rain down your fury." Dark clouds consumed the sky. Bolts of lightning were seen streaking across the sky. Hitomi stopped her song and changed tunes. "Song of Torture." As the shinigami began to charge his lightning into his hammer his head began to sear with pain. He fell to one knee and his attack was disrupted.
"A little pain can't stop me you bitch!" The shinigami swung wildly with forceful swings. Hitomi played various notes, each one seemed to make the statue of Benzaiten move. The shinigami was no longer fighting Hitomi, we was focused on the statue. Hitomi decided it was time to put an end to this concert. She continued to play her flute but something was different. Benny had coiled around her and Benzaiten seemed to be moving on her own now.
The shinigami fought mercilessly against the statue, but the onslaught of swords, bows and arrows, axes, and other items was a match for him. He began to tire out against the statue. All of a sudden the music stopped. The shinigami found himself on stage in an opera house with a crowd roaring in front of him. "What the hell?" He thought to himself. A sharp pain shot through his chest. "Gaaaaah!" He fell to one knee holding his chest.
"Welcome to the finale shinigami. They're cheering for the show I just gave them. You, you fought like an animal. No fluidity in your movements, no rhyme or reason. Just wild attacks. Battle is art shinigami. It is beautiful and bold. That is why I have defeated you. I put on a better show, and the crowd applauds me for it. Farewell shinigami." The shinigami collapsed center stage.
Hitomi smiled and walked to the front of the stage. She took her bows and thanks the audience. She thought to herself, "This was one of my better performances. I didn't even have to pull out my mask." She smiled, turned and walked off stage. The curtain closed.
