Meshi swung again and smashed through yet another Shinigami's bokutou and stopped his attack inches away from their head almost crushing their skull. "That's another one down," he spoke to himself. Setting the tip of his own bokutou down and wiping small string of sweats off his forehead he held out his wooden sword and ask to the others, "Ok that's ten now. Who wants to be next?"

Shu walked into the dojo, his smile on his face as he looked around. His robes were wrinkled and his belt knotted on his side. He yawned slightly and looked at Meshi as he was announcing he wanted another opponent.
<<Hey ill fight you>>
Shu stepped up placing his zanpakuto on the side and picked up a bokuto, giving it a couple of swings, then putting it back and getting another. He did this several times till he found one he liked. He then stepped onto the mat and took his stance legs wide both hands on the hilt. Shu smiled largley at Meshi as he prepared himself.
<<You seem pretty confident, hope I can hold my own *hehe* but anyways Ill concede the first move to the winner of the last fight.>>
Shu was perfeclty calm his smile widening. He took several deep breaths making sure he was absolutely still.

Meshi eyeball the person who stepped up. Scanning his body from head to toe he gripped his bokutou tightly in his right hand.
Silence filled the room as everyone waited for the first move.
Calming his mind and body down Meshi closed his eyes for a brief second and took the first charge swinging with his right hand alone making a foward side swing coming from the right.

Shu smiled noticing the simplicity of the move. Shu moves to the left moving his sword to the right. making an upward slice to deflect Meshi's attack. The counter move is simle and deceptive. It is not meant to give away any information about Shu's abilities.
Shu chuckles slightly his smile still fixed in place, as he takes a step forward he moves Meshi's sword upwards, taking a knee into Meshi's sternum

Meshi took the hit, but his solid abs absorbed all the damaged. Glaring at the person in front him with his dark crimsion red eyes, he thrust the person forward with his left hand. Planting both his feet firmly on the floor and holding his weapon out towards his side he ask the person, "Hey, whats your name?"

Shu was pushed back a couple steps smiling widely his dimple looking like a crater on his left cheek. Shu brushes himself off and looks up at Meshi.
<<My name is Shu Ranpu, And I am here to fight you, and defeat you.>>
Shu's smile widened as he looked at Meshi. His stance narrowed slightly as he moved his right foot forward. He brought his sword up and backwards toward so he could charge.
<<Now is where the fight begins.>>
Shu suddenly charged forward shunpoing as he stepped. He brought his bokouto around aiming for a strike to Meshi's ribs.

Meshi closed his eyes and listened carefully to the foot steps. Suddenly in a spilt millisecond he angle his bouktou up blocking the strike. "My name is Meshi Yagura, and your incorrect in one thing, I'll be the one who defeats you." Griping the bouktou with both hands this time, "however you are correct, the fights begins now." Increasing his strenght he begins to push Shu slightly backward.

Shu took several small steps backwards as Meshi initiated his assault. Shu made sure not to let any of his strikes actually hit him, but he could feel the power behind the strikes. Suddenly Shu stopped backing up. He increased his strength and kept Meshi from pushing him back anymore.
<<Nice, nice, but I believe ive had enough of that *hehe*>>
Shu angles his blade causing Meshi's next strike to go upwards. Shu once again kicked Meshi in the sternum, but also struck Meshi in the arm with his boukuto.

Meshi took the hits that Shu had delivered but hardly flinch from the attacks. "I see that not only are you proficient in zanjutsu, but also in hand to hand. A rare combination these days." Still holding a firm grip to his bokutou Meshi warp his free arm around Shu's leg and side-step his foot around Shu's other leg to hold him in place. Making another side swing with twice the speed this time he shouted, "I'll love to see how you get out of this?"

Shu looked at Meshi as he grabbed his leg, a bit of shock at having his leg taken from him. Shu tries to hobble but he cant get out of Meshi's grasp. As Meshi's swing comes in Shu barely gets his bokuto in the way of the strike. The force of the strike snaps Shu's bokuto in half, and the residual hit caused to Shu sent him flying some blood flying from his mouth.
Shu hit the floor hard. His body flailed about for a second and he layed still before picking up his broken bokuto and getting back into his stance. Shu looks at Meshi his stance steady while wiping blood off of his face.
<<that was very good, very tactile, but you made a mistake.....you broke my bokuto in half. You see im used to using a wakisashi, and a full length bokuto in half so now I can really let loose so lets continue.>>
Shu flips the bokkuto so that the blade is facing downward and shunpos to the left then right moving forward. Suddenly Shu takes a upward slash to Meshi's arm, and makes a right hook to Meshi's head at the same time.
